summary: gathered around the bonfire makes for warm snuggles after a long day of sandcastle competitions and naps

. although karl isn't the most competitive member out there, he is totally down to participate in the competitions

. aka the stupid little contests that tommy challenges everyone into

"SAPNAP! let's see who can stay up the longest-" "tommy you're so dead, i win this." "WE WILL SEE ABOUT THAT BITCH!"

. including boogie boarding, racing on land, volleyball, etc.

. he does get really passionate about a sand castle competition though

. he wants to build the largest and best castle

"y/n we need more water! GO GO GO GO!"

"karl, your castle sucks." "shut your mom george."

. no one really wins-

. but you did make a beautiful sand sandcastle complete with seashells and a moat

. everyone just starts arguing and then tommy goes and kicks them all over-

"TOMMY!" "whoops."

. you do cheer him on for every other competition though and he appreciates it :]

. it does tire him out though

. therefore, hammock nap <33

. both of you snuggled up in a hammock under the shade, his head tucked into your neck

. no need for any blankets, maybe a towel because its so warm

. when he peers up at you after waking up, you notice he has a bit of sand

. so you ruffle up his hair to shake it out and he just does the cutest nose scrunch-

"you had sand in your hair love."

he can only mumble a thank you before going back to his previous comfy spot

. then later, the whole dsmp has a bonfire

. phil is bbq-ing with sam, cooking food for everyone

. wilbur is playing guitar, tubbo on the ukulele

. just a really cozy atmosphere

. when it gets a bit later, everyone is roasting marshmallows and eating smores

. karl is DETERMINED to make the perfect smores

. so he makes you judge all the ones he makes

"how about this one?" "i like it." "just LIKE? not LOVE?" "karl it's fine-" "nonono i need to make another ones."

. its a lot of sugar intake-

. but once it gets chilly, the two of you wrap a blanket around both of your shoulders, huddling near the bonfire
