This has the same energy of the one guy at my high school who thought I was some sort of intellectual because I paced the halls during lunch instead of eating, and continually tried to ask if he could "join me in my contemplation" as he put it. Like, sorry my dude, I'm not walking around to look down my nose at my peers and imagine myself as some sort of god compared to them, I have a fucking eating disorder and adhd.

(For context, my family is from Michigan and my dad has been really excited about the Detroit Lions finally getting their shit together with the addition of two new players who genuinely go by the nicknames Sonic and Knuckles. He updates me after every game to tell me how they're doing!)

Had to write an essay in my history class about a rarely represented group of people. Most everyone else in my class chose the LGBT community so I wrote about foster care. My essay was more or less a call out directed at those who use foster care as a means to make money and how children consistently moving foster homes makes it difficult to go through all five stages of grief after losing their family's. Got an 'A' and was asked multiple times if I was adopted (I am not).

Same year, in my English class. Had to write an essay about the book Frankenstein. More or less spent five paragraphs screaming about Hollywood's pisspoor interpretations of the book, and how I hated Dr. Frankenstein. Got another 'A' and a big smile from my teacher because she also hates Dr. Frankenstein.

There are more essays that bullshitted my way through, but I don't remember all of them. Tbh though essays are the only reason I passed my classes.

‪Essays I've written that had absolutely no business scoring as high as they did‬

- A literary analysis claiming that Jekyll was gay and strongly insinuating that Hyde was his drag persona‬ ‪- 500 words on how Despacito has changed the American music industry (in Spanish)‬ ‪- Literally didn’t even write an essay just turned in a picture of that scene in Monty Python and the Holy Grail where the cartoon angels are playing the trumpet w their asses - We were supposed to make a ‘diary’ from the pov of a character in Romeo and Juliet. I chose to write as a gay servant who was hopelessly in love w Romeo and plotting to murder Juliet. It’s entirely handwritten w my left hand and stg every single word is spelled wrong. One page just says ‘today I saw a geese’. There are no fewer than 6 thinly veiled sexual innuendos.

Me after beating Leon's 1st run: Wow, I really like this Leon character! I wonder if I'll like playing the alternate character's story as much? Probably not.

Me after beating Claire's 1st run: Leon who? Claire is actually the best protagonist in this game with the far superior storyline and I'll defend her until I'm dead. Also if anything bad happens to her in this franchise past this point, I'll blow up the world.
