sometimes i scroll yt shorts too much (yeah i know get over it) and i come across these like small ass channels with barely one subscriber or 3 likes and i make sure to watch the whole ass video and like it and even subscribe if i think it was good (which it usually is) cuz imo ur like shudnt be expensive. they already removed the dislikes. go ahead n like everything. esp the small channels on yt. there might be a small kid on the other side of the screen going "OMG WHAT THE SIGMA I REACHED 5 SUBSCRIBERS WOOHOO" and if one tap can help bring that smile or be the push for those small channels to keep posting then fuck yeah

A creator friend of mine has confirmed that my comments are being indiscriminately hidden on his videos, even when he manually approves them.

This, paired with my sudden drop in reach on my videos (which used to be shown to 1k to 1.5k feeds usually, but are now being shown to around 30-ish feeds if I'm lucky) seems to indicate I have been shadowbanned on YouTube.

The only reason I can think of for this happening is I've been openly supporting trans rights in comments sections of relevant videos, which may have resulted in me being report-botted by retaliatory transphobes.

Having deleted my Xitter account in mid-2023, being agender and not wanting the Muskrat to have any private info of mine that he shouldn't, my only option to contact YouTube is through their "community support" page, which is barren and effectively a scream into the void.

I have no idea what to do about this. I'm not willing to make a new Twitter account until the Muskrat is forced to sell it and transfer ownership, but there's no other means to contact YouTube support.

As much as I hate to ask, I need someone else to make a fuss for me, since I'm too small to be heard on my own.

If anyone wants a link to my channel, I'm willing to DM it to anyone who asks. I don't want people mistaking this for self-promo.

I'm just having a rough time at the moment, especially since the power has been out ever since the hurricane hit, so I can't even combat the algorithm by uploading because I can't power on my PC to animate or edit any videos.

Any bass-boosting is appreciated. While money would help overall due to personal losses due to the hurricane, I don't want anyone sending me money, I just want the little career I had back.
