I would uh. Like to see your asbestos collection / maybe some of your uranium glass pieces if that's possible. If that's alright . Pretty please 👀
I'm sorry to say that I'm a filthy liar, I don't have any asbestos in my possession unfortunately, though I do look for asbestos related things when I skulk around in flea markets and antique stores and such. I can show my uranium glass tho

Unfortunately I don't have a blacklight so they don't glow as they should. Also pictured is a random sword and a lightning whelk egg case I found on the beach in Florida when i was a kid.

“Lately, I’d been depressed and preoccupied with death… Looking out toward the ocean, my mind, as it did almost every hour of every day, worked to explain the inconsistencies that dominated my life; the pain, torment, and confusion and the beautiful music I was able to make. Was there an answer? Did I have no control? Had I ever? Feeling shipwrecked on an existential island, I lost myself in the balance of darkness that stretched beyond the breaking waves to the other side of the earth. The ocean was so incredibly vast, the universe was so large, and suddenly I saw myself in proportion to that, a little pebble of sand, a jellyfish floating on top of the water; traveling with the current I felt dwarfed, temporary. The next day I began writing “‘Til I Die”, perhaps the most personal song I ever wrote for The Beach Boys… In doing so, I wanted to re-create the swell of emotions that I’d felt at the beach the previous night.”
- Brian Wilson on “‘Til I Die” by The Beach Boys

🕊️"God only knows what we'd be without you..." 🌊
Today, we pause to honor the immeasurable legacy of Brian Wilson, the sonic architect behind the California sound that shaped a generation, and so many after.
Rest easy, Brian. Your music was the tide that moved us. 🎶🌊🩵
"I want people to understand that l'm here to create for them. To create music for people so they'll know that l'm a source of love. And they can depend on my name." — Brian Wilson

One of the few clear photos I could find of all 6 of the Boys in (i think) 1971- including Brian.
So much to analyze here

Heyoo Steph, just randomly dropping in. How are you doing? Been up to much lately?
Hey, hey! Thanks for checking in!
So the good news is I've settled nicely into my job as one of the archivists at a railroad museum in my area, where I am spending 8 hours five days a week surrounded by train things and am unfathomably happy about it. I am astounded my new co-workers haven't gotten sick of my excitement yet but they seem really glad I have subject expertise.
The bad news is that Murphy had a medical emergency earlier this week, but at least it did confirm what I suspected - the beast is diabetic. Wilford Brimley in cat form is recovering at home as I type this and he's responding fairly well to his insulin so far, so fingers crossed!
Hoping all is well with you!

BRIAN WILSON
I grew up in Southern California and let me tell you, in the early 60s, the Beach Boys were king.
