I wrote the poem a while ago and revamped it recently with the help of a friend :D 

I tried to do some new things with the background/general style to desperately pull myself out of the art block. The results are to be determined ;-;

I think a lot about the start of the game, when Loop doesn't appear. It could have just been that they didn't 'materialize' until the first loop, but I find it interesting to think that they were there the whole time, listening to this new Siffrin make all the same mistakes that they made. Plus, it makes sense that they would take a moment to compose themselves because, you know, *major* panic attack :)

Also, maybe I've spent too long staring at the loop portraits for references and stuff, but I just love the expression that Loop has the first time you meet them. THE SUBTLE ANGUISH, THE DESEPTIVE CALMNESS. It reads like someone who just adjusted their sitting position 27 times before you saw them!! JUST LOOK AT THOSE EYEBROWS. The ammount of emotion that is put into Loop's expressions is what I strive for as an artist :]

[Heads or Tails?]

hey, i made up a complicated and heavily conditional craft skill for my post one hat au loop :) i'm gonna describe the skill below, but if you wanna see both what their other craft skills are called and the wip for this, here it is.

Loop calls out to a party member. If the guess is Heads, Loop will attack and if the guess is Tails, Loop will buff that party member.

If they guessed heads and it lands on heads, Loop will attack a single enemy with a powerful attack of the craft type of who they asked. If they asked Mirabelle, it defaults to a scissors attack. This is worth two jackpot points.

If they guessed heads and it lands on tails, Loop will fire a normal attack that deals neutral damage, has a lowered Crit Chance, and gives no jackpot points.

If they guess tails and it lands on tails, Loop will buff that party member's ATK and Luck for three turns and buff their Crit Chance for one turn.

If they guessed tails and it lands on heads, Loop will buff that party member's DEF for three turns, but will also inflict Slow for the same amount of time.

sudden College au... thing... art

some explanation and general stuff down the cut

basically just me talking in ss discord and then boom

what if college au, but Siffrin is still looping in it too, but a full year (or with Loop whatever month they want) because King keeps failing him and all of their Party

... but why don't years of studying and getting full A+ on EVERYTHING max score every thing WHY IS IT THE START OF THE 3RD YEAR AGAIN

and so this au was born with this thing too, because Loop was the one Siffrin that gives up after learning everything and they can't take taking that exam once more, but oh well

Now they're a teacher that has to help Siffrin with that (and maybe some more) classes that somehow change the name everytime you try to remember it! that a guy with long hair keeps asking about and giving them the worst time of their lifes

and maybe, just maybe having your friends and a favorite teacher still so close, in the same lecture classes one more year... is not that bad?

because they will leave and forget you after this year this over
