i realize i don't talk about raiding much these days, but i've still got one team i dps on going strong! we cleared all the legacy nims + timers, so we've been progging dxun now!

currently working on apex, where i'm in adds tank jail since i can't play a dps with cleanse ajskdljklasd

but it's fun! it's. A Lot. to keep track of, but i'm really enjoying learning how to adds tank

red is. red. it's a coin toss whether the bulls are visible so it can get hectic when only one or two dps can focus it, and especially when it's invis for the one who's supposed to hold it

the beast pens are hectic in any mode, but when they're not buggy they're fun! the pursuit droid is actually a really fun mechanic (even if it seems to target me half the time. damn thing.....)

nim trandoshan squad is SO fun??? i get to be train caller since i can use hololocate and i'm happy the raid lead trusts me with important (albeit in that case, simple) jobs 🥰

huntmaster is. ughhhhhh. i want to push him into shelleigh's pond So Bad that fight is buggy, desync-y mess. it would be fun if it Actually Worked Properly, but the main prog in that fight is - no joke - learning all the bugs and figuring out how to work around them. ugh.

and then apex.... we haven't killed it yet, the lowest we've gotten is into 45-ish% i think? but it's been a good challenge so far!

...weird to think i've cleared 86/100 things in 8m.... all i'm missing now is all of nim gods + timer, nim apex + timer, hm revan, hm lady dom, and hm sisters-izax.

it Would be funny if i clear nim gods stuff before hm, and it's looking like that Could actually happen since gods is where we're probably going after dxun timer hahaha. i've gotta start relearning plasma for that op....

In The Kine Legacy, Ryscha (Hero of Tython) rescued Leeha and then never said anything about her relationship with Jomar. So when Leeha returned to Tython, she was never criticized and simply offered all of the help and assistance she needed to begin recovering from her time as the Emperor's thrall.

Though she was considered a warrior that "never knew failure," Leeha's time as the Emperor's slave had been incredibly traumatic and she had little desire to return to combat even as the Galactic War raged on. Instead, she focused both on learning more healing techniques and on her old research of how the Force could impact machines and possibly lead to sentience in droids.

She became a well respected if slightly eccentric healer (few put any real stock into her continued Meedee research) and was one of a select group of Jedi chosen to learn the healing techniques discovered by the Barsen'thor.

While focusing on healing herself and others, Leeha began to feel a deep sorrow for the Hero of Tython, who seemed to be bending and on the verge of breaking under the weight of non-stop combat deployments. But before she could bring her concerns to the Council, Zakuul invaded.

Leeha would join the group of jedi that settled on Ossus and would be responsible for training a new generation of healers. While in isolation from the wider galaxy, she and Jomar began to openly display their love for one another and became one of many relationships that Ossus would see between Jedi and the other non-jedi settlers.

Though she was immensely grateful for being able to have a peaceful existence on Tython and later Ossus, she would always regret not reaching out to the Hero of Tython, feeling that she had failed to help the person that had given her this second chance at life.

There are some things that Roslynd has learned since being reunited with Rhys and Valetyn. That Rhys needs to talk after a mission, and Valetyn needs to be alone. While she can do what she can to support them, there are some things Roslynd will never be able to understand about their line of work without being a cipher herself.

Keeper shooed her from her office as the chrono struck eight in the evening, admonishing her for staying three hours late as though he didn’t routinely appear to live in the building and very rarely took breaks. 

“Go home, Fourteen.” He ordered like a father orders their child’s best friend, his eyes slipping to the simple ring she always wore. She clasped her hands over each other, worrying her fingers together.  

“Yes sir.” 

He inspected her for a moment longer, then glanced at the watch on his wrist, “And come in late tomorrow.” 

Keeper new. Somehow that man always knew. She flashed a tight, but thankful smile at him, “Will do, sir.” 

This late after the usual work day ended the hall to the main foyer was nearly empty, most of the agents working swing or night shifts sequestered away in offices or briefing rooms. The clicking of her heels echoed around the vaulted ceilings. 

Rhys met her at the entrance to the foyer, his smile failing to reach his exhausted yes. 

Before she could even say hello, his hand landed on her shoulder, steering her away from the taxi pad and towards the lounge tucked in the far corner of HQ, “Walk with me, Ros.” 

“Why?” Roslynd craned her neck to look over her shoulder, to where a lone taxi swept back into the hyperlanes. Rhys’ hand gripped her shoulder tighter, driving her forward. 

“To have a drink.” 

She frowned up at him, at his neutral expression cut with dark circles under his eyes. Rhys never drank after returning from missions, especially ones like this that had labored on longer than they should have.

“Where’s--?” 

Rhys flicked his eyes to hers, a partial warning there as they neared the threshold, “He’s fine.”

I think the fact that troopertyr ate shit twice playing the update today vs agent canon operative tyr being able to breeze through it like nobody's business a) is further data for my ongoing loveletter to stealth in solo play and b) says a lot about troopertyr somehow possibly being both more of a war criminal (probably) than actual imperial agent og and also exponentially by far the most soggiest incarnation of him and quite possibly the soggiest little guy i've ever made. dramatic ass shelter dog sighing on the couch while he looks like some cross between morty posing and family guy death pose.

but yeah. sure. the guy's a ex-republic specforce major. totally. whatever you say, boss.

the only downside of SWTOR’s new trade-tax is that I can no longer afford my boyfriend’s shopping sprees. I love him, but dude has some expensive tastes and he doesn’t exactly credit farm. He also will only buy the item from a set that he wants. Which is why he has like 3 of the same ridiculously expensive chest pieces all bound to his account instead of unlocking the full outfit in collections and redeeming it whenever he wants to.

So last night he decided to ask me for crafting tips so he can sell stuff and get back to over a billion creds, instead of him just crafting outfits and stims for his personal use.

Y’all. I have a linked 8+ pages spreadsheet on the cost of to make just about everything in-game. from the average price-per-item based on the crew skill missions, to dye mods, stims, augments, etc...

He doesn’t like the character hopping aspect. He’d rather buy materials off the GTN than hop onto another character, send the comps on crew skill missions, and repeat until he can craft whatever it is. I had to break out that spreadsheet and show him that it would not be a good idea to do that. since. you know. the economy is inflated like the Goodyear Blimp. Cheaper to spend 30 minutes watching TV and logging in and out to do crew missions and run heroics to pay for the missions.

And then i had to look him in the eye and tell him most of my fortune is from dye mods and augment kits built up over years of doing this.

I’m prepared to be entertained for the next couple days as he figures this out.

"Spontaneous" HM Raiding in SWTOR: A Step-by-Step Process

Ask your guildies in advance (5 show up)

Post in like three separate discord servers trying to fill the group. Get one response.

Take a deep breath and try /allies

Finally fill the group (it's only been like 30 minutes. You're making good time)

Start the op!

Lose 1 person just before the 3rd boss due to IRL things. Ask everyone to help find a replacement and try /allies again

After 15 minutes, get a replacement and continue the op with only minor PUG silliness

Wipe on the last boss because your brain is slightly fried and you forgot to assign someone for a key mechanic

Lose another DPS because the raid has now run long and they have a prior commitment (scream silently into your hands)

After another 5-10 minutes, find a replacement via discord

Kill the boss despite minor PUG shenanigans

Thank everyone for their time and participation and collapse into bed because you have now been raiding roster progging for almost 2-1/2 hours
