Bears are forever

So, Michelle and Steve are no longer together, apparently, and that´s great Sydcarmy news!

Storer is serving subtext again, his favest dish.

Because Steve was still around on the dance floor, at the end, during the dance, spinning around with Francie, meaning he wasn´t dancing with Michelle bc she had already left, and they didn´t leave together.

Maybe they didn´t even arrive together. Steve was always flying solo, mingling, etc, and Michelle was by herself as well, not under the table with Steve, and then she hung out a bit with Tiff before taking off and "missing it" bc she had a plane to catch.

Plus, when Frank asked Steve how he became a Berzatto, he didn´t say I´m married to Michelle, or my wife is Michelle Berzatto, etc. He just awkwardly and rather drily said: "Married to a ... cousin."

MEANING: The Berzattos stick together even after a divorce, and even if they don´t have kids in common. Bears are forever. (unless they deliberately want to leave the clan, like Carmy´s dad).

And this is how Storer showed us that Bears have a sweet and unconditional side too, not everything is toxic about them and that now that Syd is part of the family, unless she actually wants out, even if Carmy and her no longer work together, they are gonna stick together forever because:

The scene in 3x09 when Jimmy is telling Carmy to deal with his mom and the lines were "You've been fucking avoiding it, haven't you?" And Carmy says "Yeah. Hoping it would just go away" and Jimmy says the only way to do that is to "just run right the fuck into it" and something tells me this is not only about the mommy issues and maybe other feelings he hopes would go away.

Carmy vs Luca: Every Second Counts

In Forever, Sydney meets Luca for the first time, and I don’t think it’s a coincidence that they meet in an episode called Forever. While Carmy is stuck in his head, Luca and Sydney hit it off, and for the first time in a long time, we see Sydney smile. During their conversation, we see a clock and the “every second counts” sign. Everything is at a good pace and there is no rush during their conversation. The vibes are good until Shapiro interrupts them. As Sydney leaves to speak to Shapiro, Luca and Sydney share a look or should I say The Look? The look that says we will continue this later. Luca looks like he wants their conversation to continue Forever because Every Second Counts.

Later on, a few people including Luca go to Sydney’s apartment for a party. Luca and Sydney are dancing and smiling at each other. Everything is good until…Sydney goes to her fridge and sees a paper clip of the review in s1, and then she has a panic attack. I think Sydney is panicking about telling Carmy that she’s leaving for another opportunity. While Luca made her smile, the thought of Carmy made her panic, so Sydney may choose to leave The Bear. Carmy needs to act fast before he looses her Forever. For Carmy, Every Second Counts.
