Super Dog Walker?

Clark really needs a dog walker! The Kent family has been swamped lately, between work, and school, and superhero hijinks, and Krypto isn't being taken out as often as he really should be, leading to rowdyness and destructive behavior. So, Clark puts an ad out and it...doesn't go well.

Krypto is hyper, hes a good dog, but hes also a super powered dog, he has so much energy and its just impossible for a non-meta human to handle him, even then, metas without some level of strength aren't much better.

Just as Clark is getting ready to take down the ad, after the last dog walker had handed Clark back Krypto's leash before bolting away in fear with twigs tangled in their hair, another person responded.

Danny Fenton, a 17 year old who's recently moved to Metropolis with his older sister. Hes a highschool student, but does online classes, and wanted to walk Krypto to give his own dog some socialization.

What interests Clark, is that on Danny's application, he explicitly states that he has experience with meta-animals, though, no proof was provided.

Well, Clark was kind of at the end of his rope, so he decided to give the kid a chance.

One and a half hours later, Krypto is returned to him completely warn out, happy but exhausted, a state Clark had never seen before, and the Kid, Danny, is completely calm, babbling happily about taking Krypto to the park so Krypto could play with Cujo, Danny's Dog.

Danny was proud to say he'd come a long way with Cujo's training(the Ghostly Mastiff Mix apprentantly only understood Latin and Ghost Speak, who knew?). But despite Danny's best efforts, he couldn't provide Cujo with proper socialization with other dogs. Oh Danny could play fetch with him for hours, and wrestle Cujo in his big form, and even play chase with him, but playing with a human is way different than just being able to play with another dog. Cujo didn't seem to mind the lack of company as long as Danny would play with him, but Danny still wanted to do more for Ghost's Best Friend.

At first, Danny tried dog parks, but dogs were sensitive beings, and could tell Cujo was stronger than them, more dangerous maybe? So they tended to get defensive, or cower.

Second, Danny tried to find other ghost animals. But, becoming a ghost was rare, and animals becoming ghosts even rarer, most animals were more than happy to simply let go and pass on. Danny did find a ghost wolf pack, but they hadn't taken kindly to Cujo encroaching on their territory, and any other ghost dogs were settled with ghosts of their people or were dutifully waiting on the edge of the ghost world and passing on for their people, so they weren't really interested.

Danny even tried making a robotic dog powered with ectoplasm to play with Cujo, but while it started off fine, the robot dog gained sentience, became possessive over Danny, and tried to exterminate Cujo, so Danny had to fight it and disassemble it!

Danny had almost given up hope, until he one day saw a flying white dog on the street, dragging some poor highschool freshman behind it. To anyone else, it just looked like the dog was running really fast, but Danny saw, the dog's paws weren't ever touching the pavement. With some searching around, Danny found the ad to be the dog's, Krypto's, dog walker, and applied.

The walk went better than Danny expected! Krypto and Cujo were playing chase all around an abandoned dog park Danny had found! Chasing, and jumping, and playing tug of war with a tree! Krypto could use his super strength, and Cujo could grow to his full size! It was so cute! Danny took so many pictures with his fenton-camera to show to Jazz. Most importantly, Cujo looked so alive! Well, as alive as a ghost dog could, being able to play with another dog.

When it was finally time to return home, both dogs were exhausted, panting happily and tiredly walking beside him, so he could return Krypto home.

Danny was so happy, he totally forgot he was getting payed! And what's better, Krypto's Owner, Clark, wanted Danny to continue walking Krypto! Score!
