Things you specifically or always do when playing certain videogames

I'm doing another tag game about videogames and our not-so-quirky quirks. Give 5 examples this time of habits or behaviors you commit when specific games or genres are played.

Here are mine:

Yakuza Series (PS4): I always, always call the local izakaya and order a take out of tekkamaki (tuna rolls) or some kajiki sashimi. because this game has your character nosh on premium sushi. Worse when you read the description and it always gets me mouthwatering for it. Nevermind the ramen or the donburi in that game, I love sushi and I will never play the Yakuza games without a dozen or so tekkamakis!

Streetfighter/Tekken: Or any one on one fighting games. I never play competitively. So when I sit in the arcade and play against the machine, and someone comes in about to pop in a coin, I always tell then "please don't. I do not want a challenger." I suck at actual human challengers. Thank goodness I've not encountered a jerk who ruins the game for me and let me finish my game.

Rune Factory/Harvest Moon or any farm sim: I check the list of marriageable candidates in advance and always pick the oldest bachelor. If there is an option to create a harem, mores the fun!

Resident Evil 4: I play tetris with my inventory. I am sure I am not alone in this :D

The Witcher 3: Nilfgaard always win! Also, I do not search for Ciri in the Isle of Mist until I get to talk to Countess Mignole with Vesemir still alive, then talk to Vesemir about her T_T.

What are your 3 historical gaming moment?

Anything related to videogames: be it achieving the highest score in the arcade, defeating that final boss after 100 tries, winning a PS5 in a raffle, getting a photo or autograph of a VA, cosplaying a videogame character... anything!

Here are my 3 personal best (in no particular order)

1.Tekken 3

The first time I truly enjoyed playing a fighting game (I still hate playing PvP in fighting games cuz an actual human is way better at it than me) was when I finally approached a real Tekken pro. A big arcade opened up in my city and I was the only girl who went there every weekend and buy 30 tokens (Php 90.00) to feed the various machines. I saw this tall college dude play King and I was mesmerized watching him pull all of Kings grapples. After several months, I watched him from behind, playing Tekken 3 until I muster up the courage to ask him how he pulled off all his moves. The college dud pulled a piece of paper and pen and began to write down all of Kings' combos and grabs, and gave it to me! Since then I have practiced on every Tekken 3 machine, pulled off all Kings' impressive grapples to a growing audience who couldn't believe their eyes that this little highschool girl is playing Tekken 3 and beating it! Oh and I became good at the games that I reduced my 30 tokens to 5.

2. Resident Evil 2 (PS1)

This game came with the console my mom gave me. First time I popped the disc in and chose Leon S Kennedy on normal mode, I was piled upon by zombies and died. That game over screen traumatized me and I did not pick up RE for months! When I did gave it a second chance, I notice there was a 3rd mode: ARRANGED. It made the game ridiculously easy by giving me all the weapons, and so I plowed through Raccoon City with my machine gun and rocket launcher. It was fun until it wasn't. I decided to play the game on Normal, got eaten and died, then powered through it. Finally beat the game on Normal and Hard. Also went for the S Rank and bonus content. Now I love all horror and survival horror games (Silent Hill, Outlast, Evil Within, etc). It became my favorite genre.

3. The Witcher 3

Had it not for this game, I wouldn't have made The Nilfgaardian Collection or started digital art. I think it was December 2019 (or 16 I dunno, it was Xmas), my brother gave me two choices: TW3 or FF15. I wanted FF15 cuz I have always been a fan of Final Fantasy and TW3 was hyped to the heavens. I wanted to know if the hype was justified and so I got TW3 GOTY edition. The hype... was well deserved! I was hooked, I plat the game, I decided to make fanarts of my fave character (Emhyr) and gave myself a goal: to have the biggest collection of Emhyr and Nilfgaard pics and be known as that crazy chick with an unhealthy obsession to Emhyr and his Nilfgaardian empire. Thus cemented the Nilfgaardian Collection in the fandom!

Embarrassing Personal Ask Game

1.Celebrity Crush: David Bowie

-c'mon he was the hearthrob of a lot of teens back in my day of The Labyrinth, and I count myself in that group. He rocked the hair and that voice! I never knew eargasm till I heard him sing everything in that movie! And I didn't even notice the "package" because I was glued to his voice and looks!

2.Videogame Crush: Kazuya Mishima

-One of the baddies of the Tekken Series. Cupids' arrow (or is that an uppercut) found it's way into my heart when I saw his blocky pixel glory in Tekken, and this character has acquired more pixels with each sequel. He is the reason why I got interested in Tekken, but sadly I couldn't master him (I was more Paul Phoenix, King, and Heihachi player).

Now that I think about it, Kazuya got me interested in DILFS! Which leads me to...

3. Current Crush: Emhyr var Emreis

-Do I need to explain? This is pretty self explanatory XD.

Here are 5 of mine:

Legend of Mana: Song of Mana. Actually the entire game is chockful of beautiful orchestra of ost that it is difficult to choose just one. So, I had to choose, and it's this. Not sure about the language (Dutch? Swedish?), but it puts me in a calm mood and helps with passing the time when I am working.

Another old one: Brave Fencer Musashi- Twin Mountains. If I feel like going on a grand adventure, this music is my earworm.

EW2's version of Ordinary World played when I am feeling the most stressed, dealing with problems at home while trying to work to pay the bills.

"I will learn to survive!" keeps me going.

If I could waltz on a battle tune, it would be to Ravana's theme. I could imaging this playing in Emhyr's ballroom!

Im torn between Armor Clad Faith and Happy Chaos Drift. In the end, this one is less mindfuckery, and I love the military rock vibe. Agin, I use this for work to drown the noise around me and have fun while I render nsfw for the next months' rent XD.

But seriously, listen to Guilty Gear Happy Chaos OSt (Drift). you wont regret it and it will occupy a place on your playlist!
