And then Dad’s gonna show up with the milk 3 years later out of nowhere while they’ve been missing him and thinking he’s not coming back and MOM’S been crying and missing him? And he’s just gonna show up now?? They’d have to be given a really good explanation bc otherwise I can totally see it being like a “why didn’t you try harder to come home” situation. There’s a thing that really does crush a TON of hope Kendra had for him coming back. I actually drew it! Kinda. After this is when they start asking questions and yeah Kendra does just keep saying he’ll be back despite the thing I’mactuallygunnastarttweaking
