so i feel kinda emberassed and guilty about this and i know im not 100% innocent in this considering i did do something that could be seen as upsetting to the other person

so afew days ago (monday 21st of october for anyone curious) i had made an archive blog for someones art that was popular in a fandom im in (primarily on twitter, but also had a tumblr acc) who had gone inactive after someone made a thread that "exposed" them as a proshipper

i want to say as a sidenote: the evidence was flimsy, alot of the interests the person had were popular and it wouldnt be surprising if you saw someone post OKKO and camp camp together since they are both really popular media, the typing quirks are simple enough, using the "same type of memes" is stupid, and aside from that it could be very easy to copy them for whatever reason, the only thing in that thread that made sense was their ao3 bookmarks since theyve linked to it, and yeah there was some werid stuff in there and i REALLY believe that those two accounts werent the same person, but this isnt the point of the post (and for the sake of the mod do not bring discourse here i will throw rocks, this is just to clarify more)

so i made sure that the person was completely inactive and didnt have an alt or something that they were posting on (i own another archive blog and i did the same thing) i really like saving stuff i liked since people would be able to enjoy it and this person had locked their twitter account, and with me not following it it led me to be unable to acess it, so seeing as that both their public accounts have not been active in a month i figured it was a safe bet

so i had 6 posts not including stuff for the pinned, afew posts that were queued and alot of drafts of their art from tumblr (which i wouldnt have posted since it was still up, but i figured just in case), i didnt really expect much of it since this was a really niche artist atleast on here, i wasnt really digging in alot at the moment i just saved what was on google low quality and if i did continue would expect people to chime in and send some or whatever

next day, i notice i have a dm notification and its from that said account, turns out the person had found the account (i am curious to know as to how they found it, given that the most popular post had 9 notes and i used a really simple tagging system to filter the posts, im just really really nosey yknow), i got 2 messages from them but i didnt read them all i saw was "take the archive down" and i sprinted to take it down, i already said that if asked for i would so i dont see the reason to not keep my word and i went on

heres the kicker: i was scrolling though some reblogs and i saw that one from this person had the person deactivated, i knew that by changing ur url it could make you look like you deactivated, so i checked one of their rarepair ship tags and all of it was gone, out of curiousity i checked and so was their twitter

i feel insanily bad for making them think they should go all the way to deactivating those said accounts, and now no one would be able to look at their art and enjoy it, and like i said in the beggining i am not innocent in this since i did choose to make the blog and tag the characters in it and look for the art, i just really REALLY heavily believe in archiving and i probably shouldve done a more private one instead (like saving it onto my computer)

inspite of them being really popular, i wasnt mutuals with them, infact they followed me, i did think they were really cool but i wasnt vibing alot with the ships they mainly posted so i just watched from afar, would occasionally reply to my posts and they were really funny, i remember them making a warrior cats au design of a character i really liked and i got too excited haha, i even drew her

on the contrary they got me fascinated in the masha ship (sasha and max), i have never watched camp camp nor am i planning to, however i do agree they should beat the shit out of eachother infront of walmart. in sparkly pink dresses

Part 3 - Construction of European modernity

Due to the work of a multitude of different scientists, all under the belief that knowledge contributes to the betterment of Humanity, the Scientific Revolution took place.

Francis Bacon created the experimental method, still in use today; René Descartes created the bases of rationalist thinking; William Harvey discovered how the circulatory system works; Galileu Galilei confirmed that the Earth orbited around the Sun; Johannes Kepler proved planets orbit in an elliptic orbit; and Isaac Newton created the Universal Law of Gravity.

All of these new discoveries completely changed old beliefs about Man and Nature, and many academies, with modern laboratories, frequently published their new discoveries.

Alongside the Scientific Revolution came the age of Enlightenment, that believed in equality(all people are born with certain rights given by Nature), popular sovereignty(any power depends on the will of the people) and separation of powers(the three government powers, executive, legislative and judicial must be seperate and equal).

These ideas were spread all over, through aristocratic salloons or in academies, but the most impactful mean was the Encyclopedia, also known as the Rational Dictionary of Science, of Art and of Crafts. They permited an easy acess to the quick advancements in science and Enlightened ideals.

Kirishima’s Hair

During his second year/thrid year Kiri is more at point of putting in his hair in ponytail and only styling it to a extened. It still has very much astehtic as his ponytial still would be pointy.

He also lets his root  grow out, constlying dying your hair just isnt healty and to split looks between red and black looks so cool. Thoug he still doesn’t let grow out that much if he can help.

As Pro he lets it until he redys, so he is known for full on red hair and  split between red and black. He still keeps a upstyled ponytail, the back of his head also has a black or dark red undercut.

Its better then having to cut all off later down the line.

5 day engage with authors challenge

Everyone knows that commenting on fics is hella stressful, so heres a small challenge for letting your favorite authors know you care!

Day one:  Leave a comment on a fic in your bookmarks!   It could be something as simple as “I bookmarked this fic X time ago, and I still read/think about it frequently”!  You might ramble and leave a long comment!  Both are valid and fine!

Day two:  Check out other works written by one of your favorite authors!   As a creator, I always get a small spike of :D when I see the same guy left kudos on 5 of my fics.  Maybe leave some comments as you go if you are feeling bold!

Day three:  Today you are either finding or drafting a formula for writing longer comments!  Here’s an example, or you can just steal it if you are feeling lazy.

Hello!�� This is what made me click on your fic (I love this ship/trope!).  My favorite line was probably “This line” because it made me feel ____.  This fic feels unique because of ____, and I very much enjoyed (part of the fic).   If this is a multichapter fic, have a small comment on how exited I am about where the fic is going.

You can omit elements of this if you feel like it doesn’t vibe with the rest of the comment, but this is a solid thicc comment authors seem to like.  You can even add to it if you are an overachiver.    Save a txt file of it on your desktop for easy acess. 

Day four:  Browse through the ‘recently updated’ of your favorite tags, and unleash that megacomment on an unsuspecting author!  Being a guest commentor is encouraged, even! Beware: the author might leave a long reply!   (I feel more confident commenting on fics, but I’m always struggling to think of responses to author replys!)

Day five:  Write a small list of fic recs for one of your favorite ships/fandoms.  Try to sell your favorite fics to your friends!   Make sure to link the fics themselves and include the author’s name in your rec post.  I encourage you to post it somewhere other than on discord, so that the authors of the fic might see it! (Put it on discord as well if you’d like!)

The author might be stunned at a large increase in kudos. >:)
