I'm back with Takashi Takeuchi's illustration for KOS-MOS FIX, the publication to commemorate 20 years of KOS-MOS.

Takeuchi is known for his work on the Tsukihime and Fate franchises, as well as his co-founding of the Type-Moon production company.

Non-Official Tristan Merch Showcase

I noticed I never posted my commissioned Tristan Plush here, which is based on Takeuchi‘s official drawing he once made for New Year - The year of the rooster, so thanks to that and the Tori-Stan Joke we got a Tristan Plush but it was never officially produced. I commissioned @glacescup to make a Reference Sheet for it so that I can commission it at Budsies!

Sadly the Colours of the Pants didn’t match or rather were a bit too bright but the Plush is very soft and accurate! It looks so much like the Original! It’s one of my absolute favourite non-official Merch! I even carried it around in when I visited Neuschwanstein Castle on my Birthday!

Fun fact: In Tsukihime: A Piece of Blue Glass Moon, character designer and sprite artist Takeshi Takeuchi purposefully put Noel's beauty mark on the wrong side of her face in some sprites because he thought it was funny

You know? For as much "Curse you Takeuchi" and "Takeuchi is at it again" I hear, I rarely hear everyone give him his flowers for his dreamy and downright gorgeous shading. I do think he has a samefacing issue but he so frequently puts out works with jawdropping color pallets and scene composition that draws the eye to his characters so well.
