tsc fandom propaganda I'm never falling for is the idea Kit should have a parabatai..... like one of the biggest reasons he fails to prevent Ty from bringing Livvy back is that he doesn't actually grasp how serious Ty agreeing to be Livvy's parabatai was. like the law, the most important thing to the Clave, straight up doesn't apply to parabatai the same (see: Edward Longford being given an honourable burial in COHF despite committing suicide) and that is very important context Kit does not have. even though they never actually went through the ritual, the fact Livvy died literal days after Ty agreed & before they even had the chance to tell anyone but Kit is it's own kind of tragedy and most of that is lost on Kit who grew up separate from all of this. he does not understand the concept and significance of parabatai. also parabatai are supposed to be rare as hell like he does not need one idc he's a Herondale and they all have them for some reason
