After seeing some recent Marvel movies my Tiktok fyp has been filled with a lot of content, but the one that makes me the nost nostalgic is people giving their views TO THIS DAY about Civil War
It was my first MCU movie that made me get into Marvel (and DC to that extent) as well as the first one i saw in cinemas, and i remember since i wasn't a grown up, for kids at that time the topic was about who has the most powers, and watching videos comparing the teams based on strength and whatnot, and even then with that whimsical mindset, i remember that still, the thought of "Avengers control by government is nono" came to me, even if i didn't truly interiorized it given that i just saw superheroes for what they were and i was just too hyped for Black Panther to come out, but as a now grown up, i still stand with Team Cap.
When i watched the movie back as a now grown up with a sense of what the world was, i was so thankful that i had always stood for Steve's side: i always thought that the treatment that they gave Wanda after Lagos was so dehumanizing despite that she was affected like a HUMAN would (like fym "they don't grant visas to weapon of mass destruction"?? and thankfulky you have Steve with "she's a kid!"), how Steve saw through what signing off their right to choose could mean given the goverments of the time, and that Tony to me felt that he signed just because he felt bad but not fully realizing what he signed up for.
One interesting thing i find that not many people talk about is how Rhodey and Sam see the accords, both having a background in the military: while Rhodey trust goverments fully without even thinking of what power they are putting in their hands, Sam is so reluctant because of what he's lived first hand, im not Sam as a character expert but i think just the fact that he used to help war veterans, where most of them probably lost their comrades to stupid goverment orders as well as fighting wars that were unnecessary, and given that him and Steve come fresh out of the events of Winter Soldier, bro KNOWS no goverment can be fully trusted with that amount of power.
When the whole Bucky thing happens Steve is the first to be adamant to hear out Bucky, yes mostly as his old best friend but also knowing that he wouldn't act out like that, especially when Buck tells him about the other supersoldiers.
I felt sm satisfaction when Tony saw what the Accords ACTUALLY were gonna do to heroes when he visited the Raft, i saw someone point out how if you read what the Accords actually said about treatment to enhanced people, it shows that for people like Steve, Wanda, etc would have a much harder time while Tony with being IronMan he would be left almost untouched in terms of control in a way.
Now the final fight with Tony seeing red because of the reveal, is a reasonable crashout but i really don't know how Steve could've brought that out before all of this without Tony getting as impulsive as he got in the moment, i think Steve knew too little about what Bucky was put through to even think about breaking it down for Tony to understand, so ultimately its a point where i understand Tony but also think that Buck was brainwashed so bro did say he remembers all of them but not even saying it in a way that is of pride, simply knowing that he did all of it with no control over himself.
Overall i love to see other people's perspective of the themes of the movie but in my personal opinion, Team Cap was right but i can see a few points of Team Tony🫡

That morning's conversation replayed in Vincent's head. All 3 people sitting in front of him work at the police station, the very same station that led the disappearance case 20 years ago. Even though he felt guilty concealing information, he'll wait a bit longer and forget about it for the time being. But he kept on wondering - why was Isaac so tentative about detectives anyway?

What games do you like to replay the most, and how do you tend to replay them? Like do you 100%, speedrun the story, speed to favorite sections and just let the game hang out in that state? I ask cause I’m currently replaying skyward sword (again) and it’s making me curious
ah yes the replaying a zelda game brain rot. i understand.
its actually super dependent on what it is I like about the game. for example, my most replayed zelda game, twilight princess, i replay because I love the spectacle of it. love the themed dungeons, the cinematic cutscenes and bosses, the characters. because its not much of a collectathon, i usually just replay it without trying to 100% everything. botw, meanwhile, ive probably 100%ed 4 separate times because the part of the game that I enjoy is the exploration, the making sure I've gotten every shrine and armor set.
so both id say hahaha!

It frustrates me so much that when I want to rewatch Steve's story I can’t just binge the Captain America trilogy and relax because some moron decided to make the final part of it an Avengers 2.5 instead.

VENOMIZED?! t. fushiguro
Tumblr media Tumblr media
❤︎ sum. your ex-fiancé needs a favor from you — just one more, he swears! apparently, he’s got some weird “parasite” that for some reason is very attracted to your sweet, sweet scent..
wc. 9.2k
warnings. fem! reader, venom! toji, modern au, pre-established relationship, pining, some spoilers + movie references, reader's a doctor (allegedly), unprotected, venom's dialogue is in bold, venom's tendrils, long tongues, brief bj's, manhandling, getting pounded silly in venom’s suit, choking, size kinks, L bombs, cunnīlingus, twice the stamina, marathons, fīngering, riding toji ‘till he cries, venom's kinda unserious, dīck slipping, cęrvix mentions, spitting on it, bręeding, squīrting, tummy bulges.
an. i’m ovulating and rewatched all three venom movies hear me OUT-
Tumblr media
“pussy.”
“venom, man- please.”
“what.”
furrowing your brows, you stared at toji, the man who you were originally supposed to marry just six months ago. in the flesh, he stands tall behind the door of your office with a sheepish expression. he looks tired, ruffled hair buried underneath a sideways baseball cap while wearing some dingy sweats. “are you talking to yourself?”
“eheh- well,” toji gruffs, darting lime eyes toward your teal scrubs. he’s missed you. to think if he hadn’t been stupid enough to snoop through your life foundation files to expose confidential information regarding their private business practices. his silly little mistake ended up getting you both fired, but fate loved playing in your face because you almost forgot that you were still toji’s doctor at your other job. clearing his scratchy throat, toji sighs. “i’m dyin’ here, doc. need a checkup.”
“she smells good.”
“yeah, she does smell good.”
“what?” you eyed toji, wondering just who the hell he was even talking to.
toji looks at you, scratching behind his neck. “ah- sorry,” and you notice how he’s a lot veinier than usual. toji did a quick scan around the spacious, empty doctor’s office before he slightly tilted his head down. “long story short, sugar, i got a … parasite.”
“PARASITE!?”
“parasite?” you repeated with a deadpan, grabbing your clipboard near your desk.
oh for the love of . .
you thought you’d never see toji again. letting off a sigh of your own, you pat the cerulean-blue hospital bed. “sit.”
hoarsely scoffing, toji makes his way toward the bed before flopping on it with a loud ‘oof.’ scratching his head, he turns toward you as he sees you writing something down—probably information regarding his chart. “so… how ya been?”
“toji, let’s just make sure you’re alright.”
“fine, fine,” he grumbles, getting smacked face first with the thick tension swarming the air that could be cut with a knife.
there was obvious tension between the two of you, and toji was still head over heels in love with you. in fact—he’s never stopped, and he regrets every day choosing his career over his relationship.
if he could start over, hell - he would.
the two of you had plans and everything after getting married. settle down, maybe move out of san francisco, maybe even live near the countryside. you both even had a brief small talk about children too, but seeing you again just reminded him of how much he screwed up.
“what’s . . the problem, exactly? you said you have a what- parasite?”
your sweet tone snaps him out of his thoughts and his droopy, grassy eyes flick down to meet your gaze. “oh- uh, yeah. you’re the only person i thought of comin’ to. last doctor, i went to called me crazy and uh … called a swat team…. ha.”
“ooookay…” you curl a brow inward, hoping the last part was just another one of his unfunny jokes. “and does this ‘parasite’ make you talk to yourself or is that just toji being toji?”
“she’s sassy.”
toji rolls his eyes, disregarding venom’s instigating comments in his head before shrugging. “sometimes. he’s annoying.”
“he?”
“my uh- parasite. he hates being called ‘it.’ goes by venom ‘n everything,” toji explains, his hands still buried deep into the pockets of his cottony sweats. as you glance up to get a good look at him, he’s sweating bullets—all from the sides of his forehead too. “oh, ‘m fine. ‘s just a bit hot in here.”
“the a/c’s on.”
“oh..” toji murmurs, slouching a bit on the bed. to say he’s feeling hot is an understatement. it’s like the more he stared at you, the more he started to feel the unsteady beats of his heart pick up.
ba-dump after ba-dump after ba-dump! and he could even start to hear each pulse through his ears, traveling through his veins.
toji clenches his tense jaw as he tries to listen to you. you’re rambling a bunch of medical terminology about checking his vitals and blood pressure and he’s replying with uninterested head nods.
oh fuck.
venom’s getting excited.
it’s probably been about five months since the little ‘incident’ occurred where he ended up getting venom.
long story short—toji was snooping around the headquarters of the life foundation where he found actual test subjects. not animals, not insects but people. live, living, and breathing people, and before he could even think of pulling out his phone to record the things he saw - bam!
one of the test subjects—a girl, sneaks up from behind and attacks toji.
little did he know that a ‘parasite’ that was once inside her ended up slipping inside of him. the parasite is known as ‘venom.’ to sum it all up toji was a perfect match, the perfect host.
“toji, are you even listening to me?”
“yeah, toji. our wife’s talking to us.”
“shut up.” he grumbles, shaking his head.
“excuse me?”
“not you- ah, fuck,” toji takes off his ball cap, running a hand through his greasy darkened strands.
he’s been so kept in his thoughts that he didn’t feel you checking his vitals and blood pressure which was oddly higher than a usual human.
toji sits on the sheet-covered bed, the blood pressure cuff still wrapped ‘round his beefy bicep before he sighs deeply again. “i don’t.. wanna waste yer time. i doubt you’ll find what’s wrong, er- medically. it’s … hah- hard to explain.”
as you switched the sphygmomanometer off, you concluded with toji’s chart for now before thinking for a moment. “well, if it’s internal and is causing you to behave strangely, maybe an MRI will help-”
“NO.”
toji grows sheepish again. “heh- no, no.. MRI.”
“and why not?”
“sound… uh- sound hurts him. him and me.”
dropping your shoulders with impatience, you tap your foot with a grumble. “look, toji, i’m really trying here but i’m not sure how else i can help you. i don’t even know what this ‘parasite’ thing even is.”
“it’s.. better if i show ya.”
right at his words, your brows raised. show you?
at that moment—question marks were popping up all through your brain, and you were the epitome of confusion. toji sighed, sitting up straight before glancing down at you. “don’t get scared, alright? i won’t hurt’cha, promise.”
“um, okay..” you murmur, crossing your arms as your wrist bristles against your doctor identification badge. the anticipation’s nearly killing you, and you remain quiet as you try to study toji’s next move.
“alright-” toji inhales deeply, and right before your very eyes - he’s changing forms.
he’s still wearing sweats, but within seconds, his body’s starting to get covered with black. it looks like some sort of dark villain suit. he’s waaaay bigger now, and his face’s just halfway covered. as you raise your head, you’re met with the face. the slit, blinking eyes. there’s large, curving eyes that longly curl further up near the back of his head and the teeth-
half of toji’s mouth was now replaced with probably dozens of sharp, honed teeth and an obnoxiously long tongue sticking out of the side of his mouth.
what ….
the ….
fuck.
“pretty little girl.”
the voice sounded far different than toji’s. it’s more pitchy and low, it's screaming with smoky bass and it nearly makes you shudder. toji - or whoever that was, did a quick walk around you and you’re silently gulping.
it’s venom now, and the more he’s in your presence, the more he’s getting a louder smell of your signature sweet scent.
so this is the girl toji’s been whining about non-stop. interesting.
“i- um.. take it you’re the parasite?”
you heard an annoyed growl leave from his mouth before he replies, cocking its head.
“watch it, now. it’s venom, sweet thing.”
“venom, poison, toxin- whatever.” you rolled your eyes, your slight fear subsiding. toji told venom how you were sassy but you, you were intriguing. you didn’t seem the least bit scared and he liked that.
as you took in his massive appearance though, he was just so big, towering over toji entirely even with his head tilted down. venom’s very burly, and you could just see him drooling from his lips from your peripherals. in a tiny frail voice, you murmured. “where’s toji? is he-”
“still here, unfortunately. he’s my shitty host-”
right on cue, they swap back and toji’s back in his body. he rubs behind his neck, looking down at your cute appalled expression. “heh- see?”
“toji, what the hell did i just see.”
“i don’t know- but look, he’s a part of me now and he’s hell-bent on makin’ my life a livin’ hell for as long as i’m alive,” toji let off an exhale. “i didn’t . . just come here for a checkup though.”
your eyes meet his and toji’s demeanor turns more serious now - he’s starting to sweat again, and raven bangs that slit down his forehead nearly shield his eyes. “i- i missed you, sugar. seriously.”
“toji-”
“no, listen,” he grumbles, slowly closing the awkward distance between the two of you. the room grew dead quiet, and the only sounds that could be heard were from the outside of the hospital.
endless chatter and machines along with occasional beeps from the staticky hospital’s intercom. intently, you stare deep into his eyes and his hand softly goes on your cheek. toji’s patiently waiting - waiting for the moment for you to push his hand away, but you don’t.
instead, your body’s first response was to lean into his touch and you could see his eyes slowly widening as he continued to caress your cheek. he didn’t expect that.
“god, i- i’m so… horny-”
…..
“nice one. no wonder why you struggle to get laid.”
you blink thrice, staring at toji and oh- he’s starting to sweat even more. his eye seems to be twitching from venom’s insult and you’re wondering what’s going on through his brain - or who.
he’s not sitting on the bed anymore, he’s standing now, and again, toji towers over you completely.
if you squinted just enough, you’d see the dark bags indenting underneath his eyes. “you look .. really pretty today.”
“i’m wearing scrubs, toji.”
“idiot.”
toji grumbles, trying to disregard venom’s snarky side comments. “i know- i know, i just-” he pauses, his eyes trailing up and down your body. “wait- i think i know how you can help with my parasite.”
“how?”
“heh- do you uh- mind if we go back to your place? ‘m kinda starved-”
♡ ♡ ♡
“o- oh my.. god!” you’d squeal, yet another pretty primal ripping its way out of your throat. one minute, you’re having a heart-to-heart with your ex-fiancé and the next, his tongue’s swirlin’ left and right in between the cracks and crevices of your open thighs. you’d be lying through your teeth if you didn’t miss his tongue.
but fuck it.
you’re whimpering, swollen-glossed lips trembling as you’re hunched over your damn sofa. you’re bent over the arm of the couch as toji’s positioned behind you, using one hand to roughly grip the right cheek of your ass.
like always - he’s just nasty, sliding his tongue in and out of your syrupy cunt, savoring the candy-sweet taste. toji’s all in there—puckering his plump glossy lips as your hips refused to stay still on his tongue.
“hngh- sweeter than ever for me, pretty hah- mama,” toji groans, feeling you writhe again at the shuddering response your body gives him.
leisurely, his scarred lips tickle their way against the outer part of your pussy and you’re already fighting back fat tears. tears of straight pleasure, and he could hear those sweet ‘lil sobs getting caught in the back of your throat every time.
“fuck- dreamt ‘bout tastin’ you again for so long,” and as you’re continuing to fill the room with your repeated, wailing whimpers, toji brings a sticky, wet kiss to your labia that’s just constantly twitching. “mhm, i missed you too, wet girl.”
“ngh- toji,” a soft, gasping moan snatches away from your lungs as your thighs gradually grow shaky. you’re unstable—struggling desperately to cling onto the armrest of the sofa. toji’s tongue was just brutal - its pace was simply relentless, barely giving you any time to get out a single breath.
“fuck- fuuuuck,” and your chest dips inward, hearing that familiar slosh sound sob from between your legs. your tummy nearly does flips, cartwheels, and somersaults, feeling that thick, big stretch of one of toji’s fingers trying to insert its way inside you.
immediately, you’re clamping around him, presenting his stocky fat middle finger with your dripping, slick warmth. you heard a cooing, husky ‘ooooh’ rumble away from toji’s throat as he stared in awe.
“your fingers are sooo- fuck-” you’re cut off by his tongue that’s wetly slurping against your pussy. it’s so loud too, a carnal sound you’d probably never get used to.
toji’s a sloppy man - proud ‘n entirely unashamed, especially when it came to you.
his long, ravened lashes were closed the entire time whilst he was trying to barrel thick fingers inside of your drooling core. you’re just so wet, dampening his fingers within each overwhelming inch that sinks inside your pussy. “baby-” he breathily rasps, hearing the hurried huffs depart from your throat once he starts scissoring his digits inside of you. his fingertips were even bigger, and your toes were just pathetically curling up.
“toji, i want a taste too.”
toji grumbles, nearly forgetting about venom’s presence. already - you had a good portion of his chin dripping with your essence. as toji’s starting to create a decent, sloppy thrusting pace of his fingers, he spits on your clit.
“don’t be greedy. besides my tongue’s longer.”
“fine.” toji rolls his eyes, glancing at the glittery glob of spit that’s straightly cascading down the slit of your cunt.
venom did have a point though -
he could stretch it out to be several feet long. toji’s fingers continued to loudly thrust in and out of your sobbing, wet cunt before he nibbles against your nub. “mmch- sugar, can i try somethin’ with my tongue?”
“o.. okaay-” your voice cutely cracks, and you’re already starting to feel the irregular beats of your heart pick up at a much more frantic speed.
“hah- i’ll have ‘ta take my fingers out for it. might stretch you a bit,” and right as he says that you hear the drenched ‘pop’ sound splash away from between your trembly legs.
you’re damn near hysterical - temporarily pouting once you’re clenching around nothing but air once he pulls his fingers out.
down to his rounded, pointy knuckles — both fat fingers were glossed from top to bottom with streams of your gluey slick.
you heard a ‘whoosh’ from behind you, and your eyes slightly bulged once you felt a bit of drool splatter onto your back. you’re completely bare, and the only thing you currently had on was panties that toji lazily shoved to the side with his teeth earlier.
“bend.”
it’s venom’s voice this time, and the bass gruffly screaming in his tone had you already arching up. you whined, still feeling him shamelessly drooling on your bare backside.
you could hear him snarling quietly, hearing the slopping sound of his tongue rolling straight out of his hanging maw. curled, white eyes stare at your pretty pussy just on display, and venom’s tongue stretched out even farther.
“eyes… lungs… pancreas…” his venomous, deep voice bellows after each word that leaves his dropping, wet lips. the chiseled, sharp teeth that decorated the inside of venom’s mouth were just so shiny.
you felt yourself throbbing at every second he spent widely staring at your body, admiring your nude physique.
large, blinking eyes finally flicker down between your thighs and you moan once he hungrily licks his long tongue across his salivating lips. once he teasingly brings the tip of his tongue to lick between the wet crevice of your leg, you whimpered as he finished his sentence. “—pussy.”
“o- oh.. my goood-” you’d croak, eyes instantly rolling back once the slimy tip of his tongue slaps its way against your hole.
slooowly, it slithers its way down until it reaches your opening. it was so long, the tip already reaching near your navel within half a second. it’s just huuuge, longer than toji’s tongue by a mile. he’s just as ruthless too, dipping his way inside of your inviting cunt without muttering a single word.
you’re holding onto the edge of the couch for dear life, gnawing at the inside of your cheek as his tongue sloppily flops its way in and out of your throbbing pussy. venom’s a tease too, and every few seconds he’d purposely stretch the tip of his tongue even longer just to hear those pretty cries of yours pitch higher.
“uuugh.. s- so long, fuck-” you’d whine, gasping once you felt his flicking tongue occasionally slap against the sprawled arc of your thighs. unapologetically, venom creates a slimy, wet trail and he’s just straight-up licking you everywhere.
he’s not only licking your pussy, he’s gliding his tongue down your legs, around your legs, and of course -
he tends attention to his new favorite spot, your hole.
every time he’d lave the reddened, curly tip of his tongue at that particular spot - you’d let off the prettiest squeal. your eyes nearly popped out of their poor sockets as you’re left a stammering, babbling mess. messily, he swirls his extended tongue around your puckering hole before slithering it back down between the puffed folds of your pussy.
“ ‘m not.. hah- not gonna last, toji-”
venom scoffs, but he could feel toji trying to take over. as you remained awkwardly hunched over the fluffy armrest of your sofa, you just couldn’t get over how long venom’s tongue was.
just thinking about how many feet it was had you fluttering, and not just the kind of fluttering that occurs inside your stomach.
it’s wet, dripping everywhere down your legs as it continues to glissade up, down, ‘n around. you were impatiently spasming on his tongue the entire time as you were still arched over, chasing each incoming breath until your release decided to present itself.
venom’s tongue was widely thick too, and it just couldn’t help but roll its way against the bare left cheek of your ass. you’re practically gasping for air at this point, on the verge of collapsing from the length of his tongue before he delves it in wholly.
“fuck- fuuuuck-” you’d squeak, drool moistly seeping from each corner of your lips.
steamy, hot breath tickles against your thigh as his tongue continued to drag its way through your sloppy cunt. every smacking slosh that you heard from between your yelping legs only grew louder, and you’re just gnawing on the bars of your fuckin’ enclosure.
you’re starting to cutely crawl forward, at least you’re trying to, but you gasp—feeling one of venom’s long black tendrils curl its way around your torso.
“stay, girl.”
you’re moaning, eyes bulging wider once the tip of his tongue occasionally reaches near your pulsating g-spot. he’s so sloppy with it too, purposely diving his tongue at that same spot to make you cross-eyed.
your sweet melodic ‘ooooh’ ‘s only pitched higher, and as his tongue continued to thrust in and out of your throbbing cunt, you felt his tendril delicately caressing down your skin. “ ‘m gonna cummm-” you’d whine out, feeling the pathetic surrendering quake of your legs.
his tongue was just sooo vast ‘n wide - thickly stretching inside of your cunt before flicking the tip of his flat tongue all against your drenched, wet thighs.
within a blink of an eye, you hear a ‘swoof’ sound and toji ends up switching back to his original form. your kaleidoscope-like vision had you seeing bleary white splotches of pleasure. as each lively vein and axon located in your body gets harshly interrupted with a euphoric wave of elation, your high’s finally making its longly awaited appearance.
venom’s tongue which is now toji’s tongue shrinks a bit, and the entire time—you feel it all inside of you. pulse after pulse after pulse . .
the scar that slit down the right side of his lip smeared against your pussy as he takes one big sluuuuurp.
toji groans, grabbing ahold of your rickety thighs before snickering lowly. “c’mon, pretty girl. give it t ‘me. hah- ‘m so thirsty,” he murmurs against your folds, his lips wetly gluing together with the help of your slick cascading down his stubbled chin.
you’re just shaking - your jaw dropped with your toes cutely curled together. toji softly slides another finger inside you and this time, it's his index finger.
your lips spread wide - parting into a cute, surprised ‘o’ once you feel a brief cold band of what feels like a ring. it’s his engagement ring, and after all this time he still wore it.
“f- fuck, tojiiiii-” you’d sob out, furrowed brows contorting as he’s trying to slide in each thick inch of his digit.
you’re drooling, and not just from your mouth.
“never .. hngh- stopped lovin’ you, sweetheart,” toji grumbles, a smoky groan ripping out of his throat once he feels his dick twitching in his sweats.
toji’s hard too, and you could even hear him let off a soft raspy whine once he started to roll his hips against the cushioned couch. “fuuuck- gonna make me cum too, ugh-”
the wet silver band of his engagement ring tickles against the inside of your core, and as he repeatedly pistons his thick digit in and out of your pussy, he kept flicking his tongue at the same time.
you’re shivering, feeling your hips dramatically stutter before the coil buried deep in your fluttering tummy finally snaps.
“fu- fuck!” you’d squall out a pretty near battle cry, purring off little shaky ‘ah’ ‘s once you hear his final, repeating slurps.
toji’s free hand already snuck underneath his sweats, and he was angrily pumping his veiny cock that hid underneath his boxers.
the white stripes of his underwear had ‘lethal protector’ decorated around the upper strip of his boxers in bold white and purple — (venom’s idea of course)
as toji’s kiss-stung lips practically glued against your pulsating clit, he drinks all of your slick juices. the top row of his teeth playfully snags against your nub as his long, dark lashes flutter shut.
but as you’re creaming on his tongue, toji grunts loudly.
his bare shaft that’s hugged around his palm ends up releasing too from the tip, and he grumbles, feeling the inside of his stomach frantically tighten.
toji ends up cumming merely nanoseconds after you, and white splotches end up spraying over his stomach and on the burgundy cushion below you both.
“hah- fuck,” toji growls through honed, gritted teeth. he’s drenched with sweat, and he’s letting off guttural moans against your sweet cunt as his animalistic hips humped against the sofa. “made a fuckin’ mess outta me, pretty girl. just like . . ya always do-”
as you’re still getting over your own teeth-shatter release, you end up sitting up. toji brings his slick-covered ring finger towards his scarred lips, giving it a teasing ‘lil suck before humming in content. “my wife’s always had the sweetest taste.”
“ex-fiancée.” you corrected him, still feeling your thighs quake.
“oh, boo. same thing, sweetheart,” toji pants, and he saw how your eyes immediately dropped further down.
it starts near his chest. toji’s chest was puffed out, and fuck was he buff. his arms were oh-so swole, and your gaze was entirely stuck to his body as he started to take off his sweater.
after that - came his tank top.
it’s dingy, a dirty color of white and you could even see a few curly black strands of chest hair poke near the center part.
as you were openly gawking - you didn’t even realize you were crawling closer and closer toward him..
this probably wasn’t a good idea.
you’d probably regret this tomorrow.
but, again - fuck it.
one more last time with your ex-fiance couldn’t hurt that bad, right . . ?
“heh- come closer,” toji sits manspread, sprawling his beefy vein-covered arms over the edge of your sofa. “i don’t bite but venom might.”
“shut up-” you mumbled, and toji inhaled a sharp breath at the familiar feeling of your touch.
as always - you’re just so gentle, tenderly tender with one of your palms wrapping over his sensitive erect length. it’s like he grew the last time you saw him, and from all the tannish-pink sides, it was overwhelmed with veins.
prodding, lightning-shaped veins.
toji’s rounded tip was a pretty color of pink with splotches of glittery white where a few remnants of cum remained.
grunting—toji’s eyes briefly flap shut and you could see the core muscles in his stomach tightly flexing. a single vein throbs down the left side of his shaft as he feels your tongue flick against his frenulum.
speaking of - his poor, rosy-colored cockhead’s just tearing with glossy globules of pre-cum. you swirl your tongue around, hearing each low growling ‘o- oh fuck,’ leave from toji’s scarred lips.
if it was anything he missed more than you, it was your mouth. you always knew how to wrap your lips around his cock. ardently, toji bites his lip before he sees you reaching between your legs.
humming, he raises a brow as your hot throat starts to finally lower itself against his weighty cock. “mngh- poor baby. need a hand?”
“ ‘m fine,” you grumbled through full lips, almost remembering just how big toji’s dick really was.
seconds later and your lips were feeling tender just from the subtle gaping stretching it created. you’re letting off a symphony of muffled moans left and right as you’re trying to get his mushroomy tip to hit the roof of your mouth. as toji ogles at your bobbling head, he playfully pinches your nose.
“fuck- thaaat’s it, breathe.” he released the grip from your nostrils, hearing a faint noise of a gag.
he was just so thick, and your fingers weren’t helping your impatient fervor at all. you weren’t just throbbing anymore from between your legs you were twitching too.
a lustrous strand of saliva dribbles from the corner of your lips as you moan again - pretty, bleary eyes glancing back up at toji before you huff. with a sloppy, wet ‘pop!’ noise, your drooling lips left his veiny cock.
“hm?” toji lets out a smoky exhale, a wide palm still softly placed on top of your head. he sees the needy little pout gradually spreading against your face before he smears his fat tip against your lips. “impatient, wifey?”
“toji-” you grumbled, not even caring anymore. your body knew all too well what it wanted. “just fuck me.”
you wanted him - maybe even needed him.
toji knew what you wanted too, and god- you just wanted to wipe the smirk right off his face.
it’s like he could read you like a book. after saying just his name though—you let off another gasp once he suddenly lifts you.
“hah- well then. upsie’ fuckin daisey, girl. i gotcha.”
strenuous, hefty arms carry you as he’s stomping down your hallway. emerald-green eyes occasionally leer at the few hung paintings and wall decorations that are displayed on your wall.
of course, toji knew where your bedroom was because that’s exactly where he was taking you.
never before had your jaw dropped wider.
once toji’s aligning his blushing, plump tip against your already sobbing pussy you knew it was game over. toji had you in one of his favorite positions - prone bone.
almost like before, your face was down with your pretty, wriggling ass raised. a long, rectangular mirror was propped up in front of you and toji was just silently drinking in every lewd expression that contorted against your face.
his sweats - his boxers, everything seemed to disappear and all he wore was that same black suit with a carved ‘spider’ looking symbol on his chest.
“mhm- look at how wet she is for me, fuck-” toji grumbles, carnally admiring how your clit was just fluttering with a jumble of aroused pulses.
“you mean us.”
“us, right.” toji rolls his eyes at venom’s remark, forgetting how you couldn’t hear him at all.
you were just drenched, and as he ran a swollen thumb down your slivering slit, he hummed.
if he squinted just enough, your pussy would’ve easily resembled a flower - so so pretty.
toji groans, and you hear a bit of a faint whoosh sound.
right before your eyes as you’re arched over, you watched how he was now wearing all black. like from before — it was the suit, the suit whenever he transformed into venom but toji was still there.
ruffled, black strands nearly blocked both of his eyes before he damply smacks his mushroomy tip against your weeping cunt.
“ngh- toji, don’t tease me-”
“patience, sweetheart-” he grumbles through gritted teeth, and your lips part into an even wider ‘o’ once he’s sliding the head of his cock back and forth against your puffed folds.
your thighs were eagerly trembling - direly waiting for him to just go inside.
toji’s cock was so ridiculously fat - each slap against your pussy with just his tip alone had you dizzy. the minuscule, sizzling buds in your mouth made the entirety of your tongue water as you were just babbling those same whimpers.
“dunno who’s louder.” he licks his lips, still tasting remnants of your cloyingly sweet juices on his tongue. as he’s still toying with you, you moaned once you heard that familiar welcoming squeeelch.
toji’s starting to ease his way inside - already creating a huge, gaping stretch with just his tip alone.
the sweet ‘o- oh shit’ that pours from your syrupy lips was mere music to his ears. tenderly, a hand wraps around your throat from behind, making you look at yourself through the mirror.
his shadow alone, you saw it - venom’s eerily presence, his silhouette shadowing behind toji, and he was even bigger. you gulped, feeling your tummy take a few resists and turns as he’s still trying to make his way inside.
“make her arch more.”
toji brings a hand toward your back, gently pressing down to make you sit upright. he’s just so big, and your brows were already compressing and curling all from his thick size.
he was barely even a few inches in and yet it felt like he was stuffing you to the brim. unsteady, wobbly arms remained pierced into the cushioned mattress as you could just feel toji’s cunning grin from behind you.
“fuck- so fuckin’ big, tojiii-”
“nice ‘n big just for you, wifey,” he purrs, and you’re whimpering once he rubs the frigid band of his wedding ring against your pussy again. the sloshes started to grow more wet after each barreling stretch, and you’re just gasping for air at this point. “c’mon big girl, let's make it fit like old times. gimme that pretty biiiig stretch- fuck.”
toji’s halfway in when he groans, feeling your heart-shaped insides instinctively clench around him. it’s almost cute, and he’s leaning against your ass to where his weight’s just hovering on top of you. the same hand that was holding onto your throat softens its grip, and he gives you a teasing kiss on the side of your mouth.
as your neck raised a little, you tried to wiggle your hips. fuck, you tried something, anything so he could just move.
toji lowly chortles at your cute agitation before gifting the right cheek of your ass with a rude spank.
“ohhh, what’s all this? want me to move, yeah?”
“pleaseplease-”
your words were a soft-spoken mumble, and toji’s just about all the way in now. after he’s bottomed out, his cock stiffens inside of you as you tried to writhe against his hips.
your dripping cunt was still as loud as ever, squelching with numerous pretty sloshing sounds. kissing near the back of your neck, toji whispers hoarsely, “heh- shame, y’er pussy’s speakin’ up for you, pretty mama. but i need ‘ta hear you,” and you moaned, eyes nearly rolling back at the sheer warmth of toji’s chiseled frame laid flat against your flesh. “please what?”
“f- fuuuck me, toji. please- just fuck me.”
within every swallowing inch—you felt toji’s thick, heavy cock trying to squeeze itself in. you’re whimpering, staring ahead with bleary, lust-like eyes as he’s taking you from behind.
he’s so obnoxiously big, but from the inside, he was even bigger.
his sharpened pelvis presents one thrust to you - just a single, vigorous thrust and you feel like you are gonna break.
fall over like you were just some fragile, porcelain doll on the verge of shattering into smithereens. all because of his damn hips. “ugh-” toji grumbles, a small hiss leaving his lips at the sticky contact your sharply slapping ass makes against his lower half.
“i wanna taste her more.”
“knock y’erself out, pal.” toji huffs at another one of venom’s whines, sucking his teeth at how your insides just clamped around him.
your half-open eyes were just wandering everywhere with white flickering through your sockets as your mouth remained agape. the crown of his cock reaches a deep, deep, deep area, and the thing that made you whine was feeling venom’s long tongue.
again.
it’s slick ‘n sticky, slithering out of his dropped jaw as the wet tip licks down the path of your arched spine. he feels you shiver, and toji groans as he’s still ruthlessly pounding you into the creeping mattress. your mind still couldn’t wrap around how abnormally loooong venom’s tongue was, it was so long that he could curl it around your waist if he wanted.
“good .. girl.”
you couldn’t hear him—but you felt his presence, his eerie presence behind you as toji’s heavy weight leans riiiight up against your ass.
your slick was dripping down his cock as he was sloppily sliding his way in and out, each papping sound of thighs causing your ears to ring like bells. fuzzed cotton stuffs your ears as you’re even starting to drool yourself, clawing at the sheets as toji’s fucking you senseless.
“hah- such a pretty girl, that’s it- fuck-” he groans, biting his tongue once he’s met with the sticky sensation of your cunt noisily slapping back against his sharpened pelvis.
hit after hit after hit - and you could just about taste every beat of your heart. his hips were mean, just slamming into you after each filth of a millisecond.
delicately - toji’s thumb caresses the middle part of your throat before he makes you meet his dirty gaze in the mirror. “look,” he huskily purrs, slowing his thrusts down purposely to match your delayed, drawn-out pants.
you shuddered underneath him—moaning once you felt the tip of venom’s tongue snake its way around your trembling thighs. though bleary, droopy eyes and a tongue fully lolled out of your spit-glittery lips, you glanced at yourself in the mirror.
the image of yourself being rammed from behind by toji in his jet-black ‘venom’ whatever you'd call it suit would now constantly be etched in your brain.
as toji’s behind you, his other hand brings your waist up for a better angle. you whined, feeling a bit of his chest hair softly tickle against your spine as he grinds against your ass. he’s thick inside, molding your clammy insides after every primal, eye-rolling thrust.
“there she is, heyy sweetheart,” and his voice drops. it’s a low, guttural low with the right amount of breath that makes you shamefully throb. leaning in, toji playfully licks the side of your cheek before whispering airily. “what happened to all that attitude earlier, hm?”
“ngh, fuck you-” you moaned, gasping once you felt venom’s tendril crawl its way between your legs. it’s so slimy, creating glossy trails of wetness against your already wet thighs before it wraps around one of your legs.
“no, fuck you.” toji grumbles, creating an invisible trail of kisses down your neck.
“make me c- cum then.” you tried to talk back but you’re instantly silenced by the feeling of toji’s heavy, fat cock dipping near your g-spot.
the ridges of his cock that’s got more of a lean curve were enough to have you collapse right there. he’s hitting you good from the inside, massaging through your clingy walls as the two of you both grunt in carnal unison. “oh! fuuuck- fuck, right there, hngh-”
toji brings a hand over your mouth—a palm that muffles your reoccurring whines ‘n whimpers before he hits that same spot again..
he treats your cute ‘lil g-spot like a target, his accuracy is precise every single time. your legs quavered as he felt you twitching - so so close that your orgasm was just like the edge of your strawberry-colored tongue.
“yeah, right - fuuuckin’, there?” and even toji’s voice was starting to tremble.
he’s just about there too - the more he’s whacking his achingly, swollen tip against your tender spot the more he’s feeling his base start to grow more and more full.
you’re whimpering, the syrupy taste of your saliva pouring past the cracks of your lips whilst gluing against his palm. venom’s ravened tendrils remained curled around your thighs too, a tight enough grip to where the hold wouldn't loosen so easily.
“there, toji- pleaaaase,” you’re damn near begging now, sweet pretty pleads of mercy sliding from your lips as the bed groans in the background. he’s deep, massaging your walls as your pussy relaxed squelch after sobbing squelch.
toji’s tip was a blushing, hot red - and each time he pistons his hips, he delves his way even further against your pretty g-spot.
stringently, it prods prods prods until it just can’t anymore and you’re left with your jaw goofily hung open, agape and all as you’re staring at the cross-eyed expression that’s mirrored right in front of you.
your reflection was practically mocking you it seemed, and once you came on his cock again, you let out the most harmonic squeal.
“mhn- there we go, sugar. sloooow, hah- nice ‘n slow, fuck-” his voice pitches hoarsely as he’s gripping both of your swerving hips. as your back’s still laid flat against the plump sheets of your mattress—toji flops right against you.
he’s just close - so so close that you felt the smooth, latex-like material of his suit grind against your skin.
his abs - so naturally sharped and carved, every single row of his chiseled pecs rubbed against your sweat-glossed back and you’re just whimpering out those same pretty babbles for more more more..
with a black quirked brow, toji grunts in your ear whilst venom’s tendrils mindlessly wrap around your waist.
tenderly, his scarred, callused lift your hips just a bit more to get a deeper angle - and fuck, that’s when toji’s just about at his inevitable peak too.
“hngh- cum . . cum insiiide-” you whined, sheeny pouty lips of yours curving into a disappointed frown once you hear and feel the wet, sloppy pop. heavy, ragged breaths collided down your spine as you felt toji’s rough chest lay flat against your back.
his shaft slipped out of you, and you couldn’t help the small ‘lil moan that pried its way from your raw chords. you’re clenching around nothing now, and you even tried to sneak a hand down between your legs.
with a soft whack - you pull your hand back, feeling the brief millisecond feeling of venom’s tendril giving your impatient hand a tiny spank.
“silly little woman.”
“our wife’s always been impatient,” toji snickers lowly, wrapping his palm around his veiny, thick cock. he takes two deep breaths before plap after plap, and he’s just smacking his mushroomy tip against your slobbering cunt.
again.
“toji, tojiiiii-” you’d moan at the occasional tender stings from each playful hit. his tip’s so perfectly round ‘n plump, just gifting your pretty pussy with various hits. “breed me, fuuuck- don’t miss, pleaseplease-”
in his head, he’s counting each sloppy slap of his creamy tip tapping against your folds. he could just hear the sheer neediness in your voice, and that’s when toji starts to align himself again.
you’re throbbing ridiculously - muttering out faint, inaudible whimpers of ‘please’ and ‘fuck’ ‘s as he’s sliding his ruby-red crownhead up and down the drooling slope of your pussy.
“mhm, needy ‘lil thing. can’t go a second without throbbing,” toji groans, watching as your right thigh starts to twitch. as his ripped abdomen presses further into yours, he brings a wet kiss toward your left shoulder blade. “ ‘s that what you really want, sweetheart? for me to finish ins- oh, fuck.”
with a sharp, three-second hiss - toji feels his hips shudder. it’s a warning, a warning that he was about to erupt and fuck, you felt every prominent vein on his ramming cock pulse through your core.
vehemently, his rhythm turns from sprightly to sloppy within seconds and he’s raising your leg slightly. “ ‘m cumming, sugar. better.. hah- pussy better swallow it all like a good girl, ugh-”
with your squished chin resting on top of your arm, you stared at the lewd reflected image of yourself and toji through the mirror that hung across the two of you.
like a madman - he’s drilling into your very being with venom’s dark silhouette hovering over you both.
he’s reaching such deep, tender areas and you’re whimpering after each slapping thrust.
“toji- uuuh- toji, mgh-” you’d whimper, his hits against your ass with his pelvis being so vicious that you could almost taste it.
it’s so powerful - each direct hit that he flawlessly slams into with his cock has your cute, dilated pupils spiraling into permanent cartoony circles. with the help of venom, toji ends up stretching his dick just a few more inches inside of you, and your mouth drops.
his tip swirls its way around your gripping pussy before it’s finally coming to its risqué end.
you’re laid flat on your mattress as nothing but a tiny, inaudible gasp-like ‘fuck’ drags its way from your lips. toji’s cock that stretch stretch stretched just a little bit more ended up gifting the lower part of your tummy with a protruding bump.
he finishes in the rawest, lecherous manner, flooding every corner ‘n crevice of your gripping walls with syrupy, white cum. your thighs that glued together perfectly were greeted with a few welcoming dewdrops of toji’s slick mess. rough, callused fingertips ran ahold of your waist and you could feel him writhing behind you.
hooded, olive eyes zero down your body, and the natural sheet of sweat that decorated a path down your arched back.
god.
“heh- that’s my gi-”
“we aren’t finished,” you uttered, grabbing toji’s bulky shoulders and lightly shoving him on his back. with a surprised yet amused ‘uuf’ he lands as his half-opened eyes stare at the dripping, creamy mess streaming from between your legs. “lie back.”
venom, being toji’s conscious once more, snickers at your audacity as he watches the scene of you straddling his host.
“tojo buddy, if you won’t re-marry her, i will.”
“dude, i told you, it’s toji, and shut the hell u- fuuuck.”
♡ ♡ ♡
position after position after position and you gave toji an absolute run for his money. he didn’t expect at all for you to have as much stamina competing with him and venom combined. you even lost count of how many mind-boggling, eye-rolling, tear-jerking orgasms you’ve got snatched out of you. it’s probably been hours, and you and toji were merely both at your inevitable limits.
he’s stuffed you full with sooo many seconds and thirds and fourths and even fifths of sweltering cum that you felt like you were about to burst.
toji’s entirely milked out - or at least, he thinks he is, and now, you’re straddling him.
you’re straddling him, but from behind.
with lazy, droopy eyes, toji slides the tip of his tongue across the seam of his scarred lips as he watches you move. “mhm, gonna go reverse on me, yeah pretty girl?” he huffs, already feeling the slickly torrid mess stick against his thighs.
you’re reaaaal slow - a torturous type of slow that nearly does toji’s head in. he’s peering at your ass moving, but you’re not bouncing.
you’re not bouncing because he and you both knew that not only were you close again but he was too.
toji’s entire body felt hot, preparing lava. the humid, scorching temperature sizzles and arises after each bestial-like slam of your hips and he grunts. “god, y’er a… hah- little brat, arentcha.”
“aw, do you need a break, toji?”
“yes he does-” venom tried to chime in.
“no- no, i don’t,” toji breathes gruffly, beads and beads of sweat tearing down each side of his face. his hair’s all ruffled and unkempt, black strands nearly blocking his vision as his thick neck tosses itself back. “atta girl, ride it then. ride it like it’s fuckin’ yours, baby.”
slap one - and you moaned, hearing and feeling toji’s harsh palm swat against your right left ass cheek.
slap two - and you gasped, his hand smacking against the right.
and the third and final slap - it’s from venom, and one of his tendrils that sloppily slides from between your thighs noisily slaps against your already full, cum-dripping pussy.
toji’s jaw significantly tightens as he just watches in awe, silently gawking at the familiar sight he’s always loved seeing — his pretty ‘lil wife straddling him, he’s missed it, he’s missed you.
“fuck-” you held in a whine by giving the flat of your tongue a soft nibbles.
his cock from all girthy sides was just so fat, and the curve that stretches through your core every time you spring back down against his lap drives you both up the first street of insanity.
this reversing angle—it’s so intimate, and it’s always been one of toji’s weaknesses.
as you’re winding your hips ‘round in a hypnotic, perfect figure eight, venom’s just nagging all in toji’s ear.
the symbiote’s bored, and by the second he’s only getting more and more aroused. with a low grumble, toji told him to just wait then he’d get his turn. hopefully.
you almost did forget about the whole ‘parasite’ thing, but who were you to complain, let alone ask questions?
your legs sprawled nice and wide, and you’re nearly squatting as your cunt continued to swallow every inch of his cock. it’s so wide too, deeply prodding inside ‘till it reaches that pretty cervix of yours.
the curly, black hairs that stuck beneath toji’s slick-covered shaft tickled you, and you’re just panting continuously like a greyhound.
“sugar, fuck- bring those hips back to me like that, mhm. right there, right fuckin’ there . . please-”
please.
oh, he’s begging.
as you maintained a secure grip on his shaky knees with your hands, you heard the wanton tremor in toji’s voice.
by now, he’s reclined allll the way back against your plush pillows with his legs feeling like complete mush. fuck, you’ve probably rode him to death, because he could barely hold onto your hips anymore.
“toji… hah- cum with me, baby-” you mumbled, feeling his clammy fingertips slither down the sides of your waist.
like a wooden chair—you’re just rocking and rocking, not even minding the constant grunts and bellowing groans of your outdated boxspring that sits beneath your mattress.
it’s just so slick - your pussy, it’s sliding up ‘n down toji’s cock and he heard every clamoring, wet splat. he’s just almost mesmerized at how well you knew how to take him every time. his mouth’s as dry as it’s ever been, and you’re starting to feel that oh-so-familiar fluttering pool of butterflies stir in the lower pits of your tummy.
“heh, you called me baby-”
“shut up.”
“make m- ngh-”
blinking thrice, toji grunts once he feels your hand wrap around his neck. you’re still facing forward—riding him in reverse with your arm extended from behind you.
his neck was just so thick that you could barely bring all five fingers to squeeze his neck. “cute-” toji slyly titters, but his brattiness fatally comes to an end once he’s starting to feel his dick twitch.
his body - it’s rumbling, and your cunt’s pulsing increases after each slapping thrust. the stimulation always knew how to make your head spin, and for a second, it just felt like time indefinitely paused.
torrid, cloud breaths draw away straight from toji’s puffed-out chest and he groans. he’s riiight there, he’s right there and he could feel his creamy tip that’s messily poking around your insides trying to cling around your warmth.
as you’re just vigorously slapping your ass against his lap now, he’s left speechless.
“o- oh, oh sugar- your fuckin’ hips, yeahyeaaah-” and he’s whimpering now, long black lashes sticking together with what appears to be tears.
toji’s holding onto your rotating waist tightly, breathing through his nose as he hears each popping slosh of your cunt preparing to wring him dry for the nth time.
“toji, something’s about to-” you’d blurt, pausing mid-sentence, keeping both hands on his knees. toji’s tearing up at the sloppy, vicious strings of cum that threatens to depart from both pairs of slapping thighs that slap louder after each violent pound.
his dick’s all red ‘n swollen, from top to bottom as it’s covered with veins that paint the shriveling sides. your legs were about to give out at any second and so was his.
toji’s tip which was oh-so round ends up massaging your tightening walls perfectly, smothering your sensitive g-spot with a plethora of sweet french kisses.
“ah-” you squeal, your eyes widening as you’re coming to your end again. your throat - it feels so hot, so parched and you’re just gradually being led to your release. the adequate force of your brutal, tossing hips makes toji’s leafy irises reel further back.
glittery, wet lashes stick together piercing both pads of thumbprints into your ridden flesh — and oh, he’s cumming for what’s probably the umpteenth time now.
you both succumb to pleasure and you’re each hit with rippling waves and waves of swelling pleasure. finally, your legs end up collapsing and your jaw’s left goofily hanging.
you end up gushing, clenching internally as your labored breaths get tangled in your full lungs. it’s so wet, and as toji’s cock remained buried idly past the taut ring of your entrance, he’s pouring yet another milky wad of cum inside of you. it’s thick and smooth like honey, stickily melting inside of you like butter.
“mhm, f.. fuck-” you kissed your teeth, hearing toji’s heavy, defeated breaths exhale from behind you.
the air in the room felt so intoxicating - cloudy. as you sat still on his lap with his leaking cock still lodged inside of you, that same aroma of pure filth and intimacy smacks your nostrils right in the face.
its citrusy with a hint of sweetness, and your thighs couldn’t help but shudder above his.
“good girl, heh- think ya cured me just f- fine.” toji hoarsely murmurs, taking every few seconds to breathe.
two rough hands gingerly raise your hips, widely peering at the frothy, white ring that coats around his tan base. pearly, clear slick of your own mess stuck against your thighs as you let off muffled moans.
everything felt so tender - and in every millisecond that passed, you felt all ropes of toji’s cum plug you to the very fullest. “c’mere, girl-” he groggily murmured, and you gasped, feeling one of venom’s tendrils wrap around your waist.
with a swift movement — you’re pulled closer, breaking the distance between the two of you. toji smashes his scarred lips against yours, slipping off occasional husky whimpers in your mouth as he felt your fingers wrap around his flaccid cock. his whines pitch higher, and your thumb runs down a prodding vein that twitches from your touch.
it’s an intense, breath-snatching kiss that leaves you both gasping for air after each smack of departure from lips. as you moaned in his mouth, you could still taste remnants of your treacly arousal on his tongue.
“i love-” he whispers between kisses, and you slide out a whine once you feel venom’s tendrils swirl around your waist.
heartbeats pulsed rapidly, matching tempos of each other as your tongue disappeared inside toji’s mouth.he grunts, bringing his crimson kiss-bitten lips toward the crack of your jaw as your mouth remains agape.
“-you. s ‘much, f- fuck, you sure know how to milk me, sugar. reminds me of our . . hah- honeymoon.”
“just . . stop talking,” you roll your eyes—still feeling the after-effects of your body’s sensitive convulsions. you still felt so stuffed, still feeling the gooey remnants of cum trickle out of your dewy pussy. as toji’s eyes remained hooded and drooped, he flashes you that same smug grin. “i still- love you too-”
“there’s my girl,” toji huskily whispers against your lips, circling a thumb over the line that curves above the top of your mouth. you moaned, watching as he brought your hand up to his before kissing it -
repeatedly, before he brought your empty ring finger up toward his lips and kissed it. “mwah,” and you felt your pulse pick up before feeling toji’s broad arms pick you up. “up and at ‘em, wifey.”
but once you’re positioned to lay flat on your back, that’s when venom switches with toji again. you’re met with the same overly tall, massive ‘parasite’ with a dozen rows of whetted, white teeth.
venom slowly opens his jaw — showcasing his long, dripping pink tongue that dampens even more once he sees your filled pussy twitching solely at the sound of his venomous, deep voice.
all over his body, he’s covered with veins, and as your eyes trail ‘n trail way down, you land at his abs and stop just below his waistline.
your eyes widened as you felt hands softly grab your hips, and he brought one of his tendrils to make you face the other way.
a sultry-sounding moan escapes out of your raw throat as your face plants against your pillow.
“mmgh-” and you let off a surprised breathy gasp, feeling not one but a pair of two rockhard things slapping against the entrance of your bare cunt.
“toji- ngh, venom- i… is that-”
“now bend for me, sweet thing. my turn.”

megumi fushiguro was the hottest baseball player you had ever seen in your life.
and you didn’t even like baseball to begin with, dozing off at every game your girl friend dragged you to because her boyfriend was on the major league team— but the one time you decided to open your eyes and pay attention to the big giant screen in front of you?
there he was in all of his emo glory.
number eighteen.
focused, half lidded eyes resembling borderline boredom as he waited for the pitcher to throw, his forehead glistening with sweat, flushed red cheeks, and his jet black hair slightly peeking over his forehead from underneath his baseball cap.
“my god—” your hand flew and you gripped your girl friends arm tightly, your jaw to the fucking floor as your eyes were gorilla glued to the screen, her quirking a curious eyebrow at you as she matched your frantic nature.
“what? what is it? who did you see? whats happ—”
you pointed your finger up at the screen, him swinging and hitting a fucking grand slam as he proceeded to get four runs with one hit, the one thing you knew about baseball besides a home run.
“that’s a— that’s a grand slam!” you pointed frantically, probably looking absolutely insane as you stood and screamed your fucking head off.
your girl friend laughed loudly, “you like fushiguro? megumi fushiguro?”
you jumped up and down, your girlfriend astonished and laughing as this was the first time she’d ever seen you energetic at a baseball game.
“he’s friends with yuji!” she yelled over the hollering of the crowd. “we can go to their locker room after and you can say hi! i heard he’s kind of mean though—”
“no!” you spun around, eyes wide and terrified. “i already know he’ll eat me alive then! i’m a loser, i can’t talk to him i don’t have game i—”
she rolled her eyes. “you’ll be fine—”
“no i can’t!” you shook your head frantically. “please he looks like the type to love bomb me and then leave me i don’t think i can handle that—”
she snorted. “are you sure?!”
you hesitated for a moment, biting your bottom lip as your eyes trailed back over to the screen, seeing megumi breathing a little heavy from running the field, his hands on his hips as he scanned the arena.
you sighed through your nose. “yeah i’m sure!”
“suit yourself!”
a year. a year you spent continuing to tag along with your girl friend to their games, staring lovesick and sad at the big screen over megumi, and standing outside far far away from the locker room once they scored another big win and not going in like you used to, waiting for your girl friend to finish up speaking to her boyfriend as you tried your best to avoid the chance of running into megumi.
she finally emerged from the locker rooms one day, a knowing smirk on her face.
“i told yuji.”
you blinked. “told him what?”
“that you like fushiguro.”
“no!” you gasped, a hand flying and smacking over your mouth. “please no im about to experience the biggest heartbreak of my life—”
“oh relax!” she grabbed your arm and practically dragged you towards the locker room doors. “he’s not even here megumi already left, but yuji wants to talk to you.”
“why?!” you exclaimed. “to let me down easy? to tell me he’s sorry on his behalf—”
your girl friend just about threw you in and went in after you as you stumbled, eyes blown wide as the air became humid and heavy, several of the players lounging about and refreshing themselves as the sound of lockers slamming shut echoed through the space— deep, broad voices laughing filling the room as yuji spotted you, his eyes friendly and polite. “y/n!”
you relaxed and smiled, “hi! you guys played really well today!”
“megumi also played really well today.”
“oh my god—” you groaned, throwing your head back as you spun around, heading straight for the exit.
“wait wait!” he laughed loudly, jogging up to you. “sorry sorry.”
“what do you want with me..” you mumbled.
he gave you a half smile. “i wanted to tell you that megumi’s weird.”
you snorted, “elaborate please.”
yuji threw an arm around your girl friend before continuing.
“you know we support your feelings and what you want…” he began.
your eyes narrowed. “why are you guys talking to me like you’re my parents—”
“but—” yuji cut you off. “i’m just gonna be straight with you. i’ve never ever seen megumi interact with anyone, let alone another woman, besides the team.”
“i don’t think i’ve ever seen him have a proper conversation with anyone on the team besides you actually…” your girl friend muttered to yuji.
yuji winced. “yeah…” he turned back to you. “back when megumi and i first got signed, he was really popular and a lot of girls would come up to him after games for his number or just to talk to him.”
“well obviously he’s a greek god,” you grumbled. “this is hurting me man get to the point.”
he sighed. “he basically scared all of them off. didn’t give a single one a chance and was kinda mean... he would either ignore them or straight up just tell them he wasn’t interested without them even being able to get a word in.”
you stared blankly.
“i tried to tell him that he needs to be nicer but he’s just not interested.”
you kept staring.
“that’s why i’m telling you this because we don’t want you to get hurt and i feel like if you try and talk to him he’s gonna be a dick and it might…” yuji looked at you sadly. “it might be a lost cause.”
you blinked.
“y/n?”
“that’s fine!” you squeaked, hands tight at your sides. “a part of me already knew. i read about it in an article, and i’ve seen his interviews.”
your girl friend looked at you with concern filled eyes. “are you okay?”
“yeah!” you waved them off. “why wouldn’t i be?”
“because your eyes are red.”
“ppffttt!” you blew out. “i’m fine! seriously. i never intended to talk to him anyways, i’m too much of a scaredy cat.”
you extended your arms out and engulfed the both of them, squeezing tight. “thank you guys for telling me though, i appreciate it.”
“y/n…” yuji trailed off.
“i’m gonna take off though, i’ll see you guys later, okay?” you waved and opened the door. “love you!”
and you scrammed, your heart in a million pieces.
it’s not like you didn’t already know. you knew, so why were you sad? why did you feel like you just got ran over by a double decker bus? why did you pathetically feel so sad?
this was the reality. you never stood a chance.
so why were you crying?
you continued walking down the hall and towards the main exit, utterly embarrassed at your sobbing and trying your best to hide it as you navigated through several groups of people, your vision entirely blurry as you were basically drowning in your tears.
you had barely escaped the crowd when you spotted a little secluded area in the lobby, trudging over pathetically and plopping down on the coushy seat as you wiped your cheeks, staring at the wall in front of you— a huge glass casing proudly decorated with the teams trophies and awards, gigantic portraits of the players on the team adorning the walls with megumi’s serious beautiful framed face right in front of you just making you feel worse.
you already knew, but regardless of megumi’s stand off ish personality, you liked it. you had curiously browsed his interviews and quotes in articles, and you always laughed at his responses, him almost every time offending the staff without even trying or knowing, and you found it so so funny, it only making you admire him and want to get to know him even more, even if it was just a friendship.
megumi fushiguro was one of the best players on the team in history, and as you closed your eyes, silent pathetic tears still slipping down your cheeks?
he never felt so out of reach.
“here.”
your eyes opened, but you literally could not see jack shit as your tears were still blurring your line of sight, you completely and utterly mortified that a stranger caught you sobbing as you wiped your face quickly in response.
“put on my sunglasses if you don’t want people to see you crying.”
the voice was gruff and lazy, but you could not care less as you took the sunglasses and settled them over your eyes, the lenses so freaking dark that you couldn’t see a single thing— your sight worse than before.
but it relieved you, as you figured no one could see your bloodshot eyes and therefore thankfully not notice you losing your mind over something so stupid.
“thank you,” you mumbled. “sorry.”
“for what.”
you felt the plush of the bench shift next to you, figuring that the stranger man sat beside you as you refused to look in their direction out of embarrassment.
not that you could even see in the first place.
“for looking like a loser.”
the stranger man snorted. “s’fine.”
you wiped your nose with your sleeve, sniffling.
“how do you see in these?” you muttered softly. “they’re making me claustrophobic i can’t see a thing.”
“that’s the point,” he hums.
“how come?”
“i get migraines everyday. they help.”
“oh i see.” you responded softly. “have you ever run into a wall because of them?”
you hear him huff out through his nose. “i did once, when i first got them.”
you giggled gently. “did you bleed?”
“no,” he spoke calmly. “i got a bump on my forehead.”
you snickered, “what? loserrr.”
you stood up and carefully tried to walk around a little, testing out how to guide yourself through the dark lenses and trying to be careful and not bump into a wall (which was literally impossible), your hands out, feeling around.
“jesus christ i’m just kidding now i feel bad. i think im gonna bump myself into a wall too so we can call it even.”
you couldn’t see, but the stranger man’s lips twitched at your comment.
“don’t do that.” he murmured. “sit back down.”
you listened and started making your way over, feeling him reach out and wrap his fingers around your wrist carefully and guide you to the bench, you plopping down on it once you felt it.
“thank you!” you responded sweetly. “…i’m actually glad i can’t see a thing right now.” you perked up, pushing the sunglasses back up over the bridge of your nose.
“why is that.”
“so i don’t have to look at megumi fushiguro’s big portrait in front of my face.”
the stranger man stopped.
“…why?”
“because he indirectly broke my heart.”
you heard a little audible laugh, and you smiled to yourself.
at least someone is having fun right now.
“how did he indirectly break your heart?”
“my girl friend’s boyfriend is yuji itadori. she spilled the beans against my will about how i have a crush on him, and yuji told me that he’s mean and he’ll basically bite my head off and tell me to scram.”
“did he?”
“uh huh,” you nodded. “they were trying to let me down easy, but it’s not like i was gonna try and talk to him anyways. i’ve gone a year without saying anything i can go on and on and on.”
the stranger man hummed.
“he’s so cool though…” you murmured, dazed. “he’s gonna be a hard one to forget about.”
“why do you like him?”
“i feel like im being interrogated,” you giggled.
you felt the stranger man lean back against the wall. “sorry, just curious.”
you copied him and crossed your arms, “mmm… because he’s really good at what he does. i admire that most of all.”
you tilted your head. “everyone berates him for being mean but i like that he’s supposedly mean for some reason…. he’s just serious about his profession and he doesn’t want to waste time. he’s also the hottest man i’ve ever seen so that definitely helps.”
the stranger man laughed a little.
“i don’t know,” you sighed sadly. “maybe i’m just demented. i am demented.”
“if yuji itadori told you the exact opposite about him, would that have encouraged you to go up to him?”
you sat in thought for a moment, but ultimately shook your head. “no. it’s too embarrassing for me and i’m also a big fat wuss so…”
you slid your fingers underneath the lenses and rubbed your stinging sore eyes. “maybe in the next life if i’m lucky, ill be reincarnated as a cool baseball man too and i won’t have to deal with this shit.”
“cool baseball man.” he repeated, tone seemingly amused.
“yup.”
the stranger man sighed. “is this why i found you crying?”
“maayybeee?” you dragged out shyly, your cheeks flushing.
it was silent for a moment, your vision completely black but his on your rosy cheeks, oddly staring that if you could see right now, you’d probably call him a creep.
“i’m sorry i made you cry.”
you jumped back.
“no not you!” you huffed. “have you not been paying attention? catch up man—”
you felt a shadow reach up and tug the sunglasses slightly away from your face, your eyes constricting against the bright lights of the hall as they tried to adjust.
and when they did?
megumi fushiguro was sitting right next to you, a tiny smile on his face dressed in all black with his teams baseball cap on.
your eyes widened dramatically and you slapped both hands over your mouth, beyond horrified as everything you had thought you were telling a stranger about him, you were telling him directly, your brain short circuiting and your body heating up like a fucking hot flash.
“oh my god i’m so sorry!” your voice was muffled, you shaking your head in absolute denial.
you immediately sprung up and grabbed your purse, slowly backing up further and further away from him.
his smile widened.
oh my god.
megumi fushiguro was smiling, a sight you’ve never ever seen during his games, practices, interviews, articles, or magazines as your cheeks increased in shade— wanting to mentally take a picture and remember forever as you knew you’d probably never see him smile like that again.
but he was smiling.
“pretend i don’t exist!” you stammered, “pretend this never happened i’m sorry this is so embarrassing keep winning your games okay and i’ll keep being an idiot far far away from you—”
“where are you going?” he chuckled lowly.
“—you’ll never see me again i’m going home and i’m going on lockdown—”
he laughed through his nose, his lips in an amused smile.
“you don’t have to do that.”
“yes i do—”
“you don’t have to forget me either.”
“that i definitely do—”
you were halfway out of the main entrance doors.
“hold on y/n—”
megumi stood, his long legs walking over to you and you froze.
y/n?
you slowly turned around, your face pale and afraid.
“how do you know my name?” you asked softly.
“your best friend is dating yuji, is she not.”
you nodded, eyes blank.
“i’ve been seeing you inside the locker room after our games for like… two years.” megumi mumbled.
oh.
oh that’s right.
you didn’t actually notice megumi until last year, when you decided to finally open your eyes for once during a game and that’s how you spotted him for the first time on the big screen in front of you, in all of his gorgeous handsome entity.
“oh.”
he raised a hand and pressed his index finger to your forehead, nudging you softly.
“dummy.”
“s-sorry..” you gave him a wobbly bashful smile, your cheeks pinky as you rubbed your red eyes.
his eyes slightly softened and he shook his head. “s’fine.”
megumi continued to stare at you, a stone cold face that always seemed to scare off the teams entire fan base, but only made you feel numb and giddy all over every single time.
you smiled wider then, and megumi’s lips twitched.
cute.
“i’m— i’m gonna go now.”
“do you have a ride home?”
you stopped. “no i was just gonna call an uber—”
he shook his head and walked past you, his shoulder brushing gently with yours with his hands stuffed in his pockets as you turned and stared at him.
he paused and looked over his shoulder.
“you coming?”
your eyes widened. “coming? w—where?”
he rolled his eyes. “i’m taking you home.”
“no!” you shot your hands out. “it’s okay! really! thank you thank you i appreciate it but—”
he stared lazily.
“come.”
you pressed your lips into a thin line and tipped your head down, taking tiny painful steps as you followed after him to the parking lot.
megumi led you from the public parking area to a secluded section around the back of the arena, one you assumed was for players and crew members only as you nervously gnawed on your bottom lip, feeling absolutely sick.
you both continued to walk down until you arrived to a private parking garage, megumi slipping out his keys from the pocket of his hoodie as you approached a shiny black luxurious car sitting neatly in a spot.
his car was really fucking nice, and you figured so being as he was one of the most popular players and probably had more than enough money in the bank— your fingers trembling as you gripped the passenger side door, settling yourself inside his plush cool leather seats and all black interior.
megumi pressed the ‘start’ button and his engine roared to life, the motor echoing through the structure as you clumsily tried to put on your seatbelt, your cheeks growing pinker with each passing second that you just couldn’t get the stupid damn thing to— click—
he reached over across the console and took the seatbelt from you, pulling it over your body and clicking it secure without a word.
“thank you.” you said softly, eyes trained to your lap.
megumi gave you a small nod and backed out of his parking space, driving around a couple of rows before making his way out with the night air softly breezing through your hair as he drove, his dash illuminated with blue lines that ran smoothly across.
“can you put your address in—”
“oh yeah!” you jumped. “sorry—”
you reached over and tapped in your address on his big touch screen, watching the way the gps registered the location and gave him the estimated time of arrival.
forty fucking minutes.
“megumi..”
his eyes looked over at you for a second before turning back to the road.
“hm?”
“i live kinda far from here and i don’t want you to drive the opposite way from where you live.”
you leaned a little, eyebrows pinched. “i can take an uber seriously, this is too much trouble i—”
“you’re already in my car.” he deadpanned.
“i’ll jump out.”
he pursed his lips, trying to suppress a smile.
“i have child lock on.”
“child lock?!” you gawked. “is this what you think of me?”
“you’re a little helpless… and you’re a crybaby.” he mumbled. “child lock stays on.”
you giggled after, your eyes shining and filled with mushy feelings for him as you nodded. “you’re probably right.”
he looked over at you then, and he smiled, softly.
“what do you do?”
you fidgeted. “h—huh?”
“do you um…” he ran his thumb over the top of his gear shift. “do you work? do you go to school?”
he’s asking you?
“i go to school!” you responded shyly but kind. “i go to a college that’s about fifteen minutes from your stadium. i usually go and meet up with my best friend after class if there’s a game.”
he hummed. “are you a big baseball person?”
you grimaced.
do you lie? do you tell the truth? do you roll down his window and attempt to jump out of the car that way?
you played with a strand of your hair. “i— i um—”
he raised an eyebrow.
“i— don’t?”
he cocked his head. “you don’t?”
you shook your head no, completely ashamed of who you are as a person as you covered your eyes.
“i knoww i suuucckkk,” you whined. “the only things i know about baseball are home runs and grand slams— which you did!”
you pointed at him excitedly. “last year! i remember you hit a grand slam! i got so excited that for once i knew what the fuck was going on and why everyone was going crazy…”
you fiddled with your fingers nervously, your eyes trained to the road. “i felt so included.”
he chuckled, and unexpectedly, reached over and gently ruffled your hair.
you then stared at him as he did so, doe eyes wide and cheeks pink.
megumi was truly just beautiful— his smooth face that didn’t have a single blemish on his skin shining under the moonlight, his black spiky hair peeking from under his cap that you had no doubt in your mind was soft and velvety.
you hated that you’d probably do anything for that man.
“i’m sorry i made you cry,” he repeated, you recognizing his words from before.
your eyebrows furrowed.
he was still thinking about that?
you shook your head furiously, “you didn’t! i swear it’s okay. i’m just crazy.”
he huffed out a laugh.
megumi thought you were odd, but in a good way. he thought everything you did was a little funny, as you were jumpy and clumsy and a crybaby and helpless, but he also took note of how polite you were. he noticed how considerate you were of him even though you were really upset, and you were kind of sweet… really sweet actually, your personality something that was totally different from the usual girls that came up to him.
well, the usual girls that used to come up to him back when he first started.
megumi pulled into your driveway and shifted the gear into park, the doors automatically unlocking.
you opened the door and stepped out before leaning down and peeking your head in.
“thank you for the ride!” you said sweetly, a cute smile on your face. “i’m sorry you had to listen to my confession against your will.”
he shook his head. “it’s alright.”
you went in to close the door.
“y/n.”
you leaned back down, “yeah?”
“are you gonna stop coming to our games?”
you gnawed at the inside of your cheek, your eyes darting around the interior of his car nervously.
“i— i don’t think so.”
“good.”
megumi watched you close his door and walk back a bit, him shifting his gear into reverse as the corners of his lips turned a tiny bit upwards.
“i’ll see you then.”
as you watched him pull out and drive away, his engine roaring down the street, you could not stop or simmer down the way your heart raced against your chest, so much so that you were afraid it was going to burst through your chest and literally kill you.
the next time you went to a game, you hadn’t told your close girl friend yet as she led you through the crowd and down to the v.i.p. lower level seats like always, a kind courtesy of yuji’s that he did whenever he could.
as you watched, you embarrassingly spotted megumi almost the minute you arrived, stars and hearts in your eyes as you watched him do his thing and work magic through the field with his absolutely insane batting, strong and purposeful as he barked orders or observed the opposing team for leads.
once his and the opposing team switched sides, megumi looked up as he jogged, his eyes seemingly scanning the v.i.p. front sections until he spotted you.
he raised a hand and gave you a little wave, and your eyes widened as you timidly, hesitantly, gave him one in return— your cheeks turning pink.
“who are you waving at?”
your girl friend pressed a cheek against yours and looked.
“who is- fushiguro?!”
you looked at her sheepishly.
as you recounted the story to her, her eyes bulging out of her sockets and screaming her head off every two seconds, her head snapped to the field.
“i have to tell yuji—”
“no!” you gripped her shoulders. “it’s literally nothing! he drove me home and he probably just feels bad for me.”
“megumi isn’t the type to make a crying girl feel better or drive her home.”
“it’s because he knows that we know yuji.”
“mm i don’t think so..” she scowled, crossing her arms in eventual defeat as she stared straight ahead.
that’s how it went for about a month.
you would come to their games, megumi would wave at you from the field or you would catch his attention and wave at him, and you would briefly speak to him casually just after his games, your conversations with him usually lasting no more than three minutes as he was often pulled by his coach or a crew member.
but even though the conversations were short, they were really nice, and the both of you never seemed to notice the people around you wanting his attention until he physically had to get pulled away.
but you still refused to go inside the locker room, knowing that was surely the place where you had to talk to him for longer than three minutes. you were too scared, embarrassingly so as you bid your girl friend and yuji goodbye from just outside the door before leaving every time, completely unaware of the way megumi would stare expressionless at you from inside.
when your girl friend invited you to the team’s yearly banquet, you flat out said no, decision firm and unmoving as she begged you over and over and over again.
“please please you have to go! you can’t avoid megumi forever!”
“what is the purpose of me going though?” you sighed, shaking your head with a smile at the sight of her dramatically on her knees over you. “for you it makes sense because you’re with yuji but what’s the excuse for me? i’m not anybody’s plus one.”
“yes you are,” she got back up on her feet and wiggled her eyebrows, “you’re megumi’s plus one.”
“bye i wish,” you mumbled, plopping down on your bed.
“okay you’re my plus one, or yuji’s! so he has two plus ones!”
she walked over and sat down next to you, resting her head against your shoulder as she sighed. “please come. you don’t have to talk to megumi okay? fine. but just come with me, i’ll have a better time if you do.”
you gave her a silly smile and thought for a moment, her sad tone swaying you as you finally gave in.
“only if you swear you won’t force me to talk to him.”
she nodded eagerly.
“i swear!”
so you stood there, nervous and biting your thumb as you frantically looked around, dressed in a pretty black off the shoulder mermaid style gown with a high slit exposing your leg— fiddling with your styled hair as you waited and waited and waited for your girl friend to come back from the dessert table with yuji.
you hadn’t seen megumi yet as you were trying to keep on a look out, because the moment you did see him all dressed up? you were sure you were going to start pathetically bowing for him on your knees in front of all these people and end your social life forever.
finally, she came back and handed you a little pastry, you thanking her kindly and taking a small bite.
“wait no!” she gasped, turning her pastry around. “fuck, i got the wrong one. i meant to get the vanilla one this is coconut.”
“i can get it for you this time.” you smiled kindly, her looking at you gratefully as you patted her shoulder, making your way over to the dessert table.
your eyes lit up like stars at the sight of it, grand and luxurious as any kind of pastry you could ever possibly think of was present— neat and gourmet-like, each adorned with elegant toppings as multiple huge chocolate fountain stations ran from the sides.
“hi.”
you jumped and looked to your right, megumi standing there beside you with a bored expression, clad in a polished black button up and slacks, his sleeves rolled up to his elbows.
you gulped.
“h—hi.”
“i didn’t think you’d come.”
he lazily picked up a tiny slice of chocolate mousse cake and looked at it.
“i was dragged by my best friend,” you puffed out a laugh. “she said i was her and yuji’s plus one or something like that.”
he nodded, biting his cake slice and swallowing.
“you stopped coming inside the locker rooms.”
you faltered.
he noticed that?
“oh yeah! i just—” you shifted your weight from one foot to the other. “i’ve been really busy with school so i study right after…”
for some reason megumi eyed you carefully, and your cheeks grew pinker the more he blatantly stared at you as you fidgeted.
“are you—”
“fushiguro!”
you both turned your heads to the source, and you spotted an unfamiliar guy, one who you assumed was on the team with them, smiling enthusiastically and throwing a heavy arm around megumi’s shoulder.
“who’s this? i’ve never seen you talk to anyone besides us!”
megumi only spared him a nonchalant glance before he looked back over at the dessert table.
the unknown man extended a hand out to you, and megumi’s eyes snapped to it.
“hi! i’m takuma!”
you cheerfully took his hand. “y/n!”
“are you megumi’s girlfriend?”
you gawked, guilt and embarrassment already filling your body at the thought of megumi finding that comment uncomfortable and being uncomfortable because of you.
at his own banquet.
“n—no!” you shook your head, eyebrows pinched. “i came with my best friend and yuji.”
takuma unhooked his arm and let it rest beside him. “oh nice! you know yuji as well?”
you nodded, “mhm!”
the rest of the crowd began to take their seats for the awards ceremony segment, and the three of you walked over to your designated table by yuji and your best friend, who’s eyes widened at the sight of you next to megumi.
you all sat, and takuma pointed to the empty seat next to you.
“is anyone sitting here?”
“oh no!” you smiled politely. “it’s empty you can—”
“take mine ino.”
megumi pulled out the chair next to you and plopped down on it, scooting up. “it’s closer to the front.”
huh?
“o—oh!” takuma scratched the back of his neck awkwardly. “okay! thanks fushiguro.”
he only nodded in response and stuck his face in his champagne glass, sipping.
and he was right. you watched as takuma navigated through the circular tables before sitting in a seat that was right smack dab in the front.
“that’s really nice of you megumi!” you chirped. “he has such a good view now!”
“mhm.”
your best friend smacked a hand to her forehead with a shake of her head, and you looked at her quizzically.
the awards ceremony was the most fun you’ve ever had, as you were over the moon for all of the players that were awarded prestigious titles and recognitions, and even more excited for yuji and megumi, the both of them combined taking award after award that by the time the event was done, your table was filled to the brim with frames, medals, and trophies.
your doe eyes glowed over megumi’s earnings, pride and admiration bubbling in your chest as you took in the result of his hard work, feeling like he was the most talented person you ever had the privilege of knowing.
he stared at your enamored look.
“you’re so cool, gumi..” you gushed, not even noticing the little nickname you gave him.
but he did.
“cool baseball man?” he responded softly, referencing your words from when you first met.
your eyes snapped to his and you gave him the shiniest smile, nodding quickly. “yeah! cool baseball man.”
megumi looked down at his awards, and after a couple of seconds, picked up a shiny gold medal hung on a baby blue striped lanyard, holding it out for you.
“here.”
your eyes traveled down.
“what?”
“for you.” he pushed the medal forward.
shock crossed your face, and you frantically shook your head, pushing the medal back to him. “no! no megumi that’s yours you earned it—”
megumi rolled his eyes and held on to the edges of the lanyard, effortlessly setting it over your head and around your neck, the medal clinking and twinkling against your chest.
“i have four others. it’s fine.”
“no but—”
he carded his thumbs underneath your hair and gently slid your hair out from beneath the lanyard, setting it delicately over your bare shoulders.
yuji and your best friends jaws were on the floor, but you didn’t notice, too busy ogling over the fact that megumi fushiguro was the kindest person you had ever met, utterly amazed that he selflessly gave you something so precious. you.
your gaze trailed down to the medal, and you softly touched it with the pads of your fingers.
“t—thank you gumi…”
his lips twitched.
you realized then that the music had started and the crowd had already dispersed to celebrate, some dancing in the center while others mingled on the sidelines or hogged the dessert table.
and you spotted your best friend with yuji, the both of them smiling adoringly at each other, laughing and dancing— something bashfully wished for yourself as you grinned softly at them.
megumi followed your gaze, and he huffed an amused small laugh through his nose.
“they met at a party didn’t they?”
you looked to him and nodded, “uh huh! i was with her. she was so scared to talk to him and i literally had to throw her in.”
he scratched his cheek. “i remember. i was there.”
your jaw dropped. “you were?!”
he nodded. “and i remember you too.”
you sat there in silence.
how long had megumi been around in your life without you knowing? how didn’t you ever freaking notice?
before you could press any further, megumi squeezed his eyes shut and pressed his fingers to his forehead in pain, groaning softly.
you jumped, “are you okay? what’s wrong?”
he shook his head. “migraine. the lights are fucking with me a little.”
“oh!” you frantically looked around the table and around him. “where are your sunglasses? the dark ones the ones you ran into a wall with!”
megumi snorted and shook his head again, eyes peeking at you a bit. “it’s fine. i left them at home.”
your eyebrows rose, “you left them?”
he nodded and dropped his hand, sitting up straight and trying to open his eyes fully to seem normal, but his lids only dropped again and his forehead fell to rest against the table.
“i’m sorry,” he mumbled. “just give me a minute.”
“don’t be sorry gumi…”
you figured the rest of the night was going to be like this, and if megumi stayed, he was going to end up dealing with the dull ache in his head for hours on end and not enjoy his banquet.
but you wanted him to enjoy it. this was his night, and you didn’t want him to spend it pissed off and writhing in pain.
“do you want to leave?”
he turned his head to the side and looked at you.
“we can um—” you fiddled with the medal around your neck. “we can go outside? or we can go for ice cream…”
you tilted your head to the side cutely, and you were oblivious to the way megumi’s cheeks went a little pink at the sight.
“ill pay though!” you smiled sweetly. “it’s the least i can do for the medal you gave me.”
he gave you an endearing half smile and nodded.
your eyes lit up. “really?! okay!— wait let me just say bye to my best friend and let her know—”
you quickly stood and walked over to the dance floor, megumi watching after you before picking up his black blazer and holding it underneath an arm, wondering how the fuck he was gonna pick up all of his awards himself.
“y/n!” your best friend gushed. “you’ve been talking to megumi for hours what the fuck is going on—”
you laughed. “nothing! it was nothing but i’m gonna go get ice cream with him!”
“what?!” her and yuji said in unison.
“did he ask you?” yuji pushed.
“no!” your eyes narrowed. “of course not i’m a big fat loser why would he? i invited him because he has a migraine so—”
your best friend hummed, a smirk on her face. “oh i see... use protection.”
“huh?!” your jaw dropped. “no! that’s not—”
“y/n!”
you turned and saw takuma walk over to you, a big smile on his face. “you enjoying the banquet?”
“oh yes! it’s really great!” you smiled kindly. “the dessert table is absolutely insane.”
“right?!” takuma stepped closer to you. “they go all out every year, it’s what everyone looks forward to.”
“i can definitely see why!”
he chuckled and nodded but then turned to you, speaking quieter. “listen um… i was wondering if you were uh— well if you wanted to dance? with me? y’know… maybe get to know each other better and then—”
yuji shoved his lips to your best friends ear.
“he’s stealing megumi’s girl.”
“i know!” she whispered harshly. “what the fuck do we do—”
“i don’t know!”
“well call megumi over—”
suddenly, a tall broad figure walked in between you and takuma, your vision blocked by his back.
“sorry ino,” megumi stepped to the side a little and placed a hand on the small of your back, ushering you towards the exit. “we were just leaving.”
yuji and your best friend gave each other a low high five before their eyes darted around, putting on false ignorance.
“sorry!— it was nice meeting you takuma!” you called from over your shoulder before the both of you stepped out of the venue and into the cool night air.
megumi’s car was parked right out front, him unlocking the doors with a button just like he had done the last time, you noticing how all of his awards were set neatly in the back seat.
“oh i’m sorry gumi! did you carry these over by yourself? i was gonna help you—”
you sat yourself on his passenger side seat, the leather creaking with every movement you made.
he shook his head. “i had my publicist team do it. it’s fine.”
“oh okay…” you mumbled, still feeling a little guilty that you didn’t help him.
you went to reach for your seatbelt when megumi’s arm flew in front of you and grabbed the strap, pulling it over your frame and clicking it securely before his hands wrapped back around the steering wheel, just like he had done a month prior.
you couldn’t make out his expression, as it was blank and stone-like and not a word was coming out of his mouth as he backed out from the parking space, but you smiled at him cutely nonetheless and thanked him.
the nearest ice cream shop was literally down the road from the venue, and the drive took less than three minutes before megumi pulled in and parallel parked on the side of the street.
you both stepped out and walked inside, the shop colorful and vibrant as what looked like twenty different assortments of ice cream were on display, your eyes launching across each flavor excitedly.
“i haven’t had ice cream in a fat minute…” you murmured as you pressed your hands against the glass.
“me neither.”
“which flavor do you want megumi?” you asked him sweetly, your eyes still glued to the flavors that it made him chuckle.
“um…” he stepped forward and scanned the different colors. “i’ll take whatever you get.”
you looked at him and your eyebrows softened, “are you sure? what if you don’t like it?”
the corner’s of his lips turned upward, the sight making your heart skip a beat.
“it’s okay. i trust you.”
you ended up getting your all time favorite flavor that you never skip— cake batter, one that tastes different depending on who’s palette it is, and something you anxiously thought over as you gnawed on your bottom lip and stared, waiting for him to try it as you both sat on a park bench not too far from the shop.
“why do you look like you’re about to cry.” he snickered lowly.
your eyes snapped to his and you giggled. “i might if you don’t like what i picked out.” you plopped a little spoonful in your mouth, the cold ice cream melting and spreading over your tongue as you swallowed. “cake batter is a hit or miss for different people…”
he hummed, “how come?”
“it’s either too sweet or just nasty.”
“i have a sweet tooth.”
your eyes lit up, “so do i! i’m a big sweets person. i love love desserts and chocolate and ice cream… but i’m not the biggest fan of candy.”
“you’re not?”
“i love candy but not how i love sweets… and i wouldn’t randomly pick it out like at the store because i wanted to. most likely i would get a cookie.”
megumi liked how much you talked.
“have you always had a sweet tooth?” he pressed on, looking at his ice cream cup.
you nodded. “have you?”
“not really,” he shook his head. “i didn’t pick it up until i met—” he stopped. “…my dad.”
met his dad?
megumi spotted your confusion and continued.
“my actual dad disappeared. dunno where he’s at. all i’ve heard is that he had a bad gambling addiction so i’m guessing it had something to do with that.”
your eyes softened.
“gojo is kind of like my dad…” he mumbled. “he’s supported my sister and i financially ever since i was maybe five or six.”
“you have a sister?” you murmured, eyes big.
he nodded. “i do.”
he scooped a bit of cake batter ice cream up with his spoon and plopped it into his mouth, smiling softly. “gojo gave me a sweet tooth. he can’t go a day without it.”
you’d never heard megumi open up so much before, and you felt incredibly lucky and special to be the one to hear about his family and share a precious moment with him over eating ice cream, something you wanted to treat delicately and remember for as long as you lived.
“do you like it?” you asked softly, gesturing to his cup.
“i love it.”
you beamed, and he took in your cute smile for a minute as you ate some more on your end.
“i’m sorry about your actual dad… but i’m glad you and your sister got the support you needed when you were young.”
he nodded.
“did he encourage you to do baseball? or was it you?”
“he did initially.” he shook his head. “he was annoying at first, was a cheerleader at every game and was so loud.”
you giggled.
“but i grew to like it… and that’s what i wanted to do for a career. if it wasn’t for gojo’s funding i wouldn’t have been able to.”
you hummed, savoring the ice cream a bit before swallowing. “that’s really nice, gumi. i’m really happy you got the opportunity to grow your skill out like that…” you swirled the ice cream around your cup with your spoon. “what you have is a solid gift, and i would hate to see it not get the recognition it deserves when you’ve worked so hard to make it what it is now.”
you looked at him. “so i’m really, really glad that it does get it.”
megumi stared at you, face blank and a scoop of yet to be eaten ice cream on his spoon, his cheeks growing hot.
“i don’t know why you think so highly of me.” he murmured.
everyone thinks he’s rude.
your eyebrows furrowed. “i don’t think megumi, i know. you’re not a mean person, you’re honest and serious about the important things in your life. and if the medal around my neck that you gave me selflessly doesn’t tell you otherwise? i might have to kill you.”
he laughed, loud, his eyes sparkling. “you might?”
you bit your lip to refrain yourself from freaking out over his smooth laughter. “i might.”
you subconsciously rubbed your hands over your chilling arms then and megumi eyed it before he put his cup down, reaching next to him for his blazer and opening it up as he gently placed it over your shoulders.
you looked at him like he was the world then, doe eyes big and round and shimmering, and megumi felt like he could do anything with that look as long as it came from you— a permanent red tint on his cheeks that was entirely your doing.
“thank you..” you mumbled shyly, your eyes glued to your now empty cup of ice cream on the bench as you clutched the sides of his blazer, the smell of him wafting in your nose that made you absolutely weak.
megumi timidly, slowly, reached up and moved a strand of hair from your eyes then, and you looked up.
“pretty…” he murmured, dazed even.
his hand fell and landed gently on your exposed thigh from the slit of your dress, but instead of moving it, he let it stay there, his hand smoothing over your plush soft skin as he was completely entranced by your heavenly face, his body pulling his lips closer to yours as megumi’s breath quickened with absolute need the higher up his hand trailed up your yummy thigh.
you couldn’t say a word, he practically didn’t let you as his lips pressed delicately and timidly against your plush ones, his mouth moving so slowly and his tongue parting your wet lips for the purpose of devouring more of you, all while his fingertips reached and felt the side straps of your panties— the material alone making him erratic and desperate while his other hand gripped your waist tightly.
your mouths moved faster now, the sounds of wet smacking and lips separating to reconnect with more greed than before muffling your ears as he breathed heavily through his nose, his eyebrows pinched together in pent up everything as he finally had you with him after months of you avoiding him.
and then you pulled away with a wet pop.
“i—i’m sorry!” you covered your mouth. “i didn’t mean to kiss you!—”
what?
megumi’s eyebrows furrowed, both of your chests heaving as his cheeks and lips were blushed red.
he shook his head, “no i kissed you—”
“don’t cover for me gumiii,” your shoulders slumped, your brain so in denial that he could ever like you back that it tricked you into thinking you were the one kissing and all over him. “fuck i’m sorry… that was so disrespectful and— and weird of me and i—”
megumi’s hands slipped away from your body and he shook his head, his eyes dead locked on yours with his eyebrows pinched together. “y/n no you’re not understanding—”
“i’m the biggest creep on the planet man i understand if you don’t ever want to speak to me again—” you covered your face and leaned forward.
megumi stared at you astonishingly as he listened to you ramble apologies and dramatic insults for yourself continuously, his shoulders slowly relaxing and his lips turning into a soft knowing smile, your random speech starting to make absolutely no sense at all and his heart aching at the fact of how naive you were.
“y/n.”
you stopped. “what.”
he reached over and pulled your hands away from your face. “you’re helpless, you know that?”
“helpless and a creep.”
he laughed and shook his head. “stop it.”
he stood and offered his hand out for you.
“it’s getting late, i’m driving you home.”
megumi decided he would properly speak to you about it the next time he saw you… except he didn’t.
you started avoiding him like the plague again, horrendously horrified about what you believed you had done, thinking that it was better if you stayed away from him and fulfilled your initial task of forgetting him, no matter how much it hurt you.
you didn’t want megumi to ever be uncomfortable or experience what you believed he experienced with you. he didn’t deserve that. he didn’t deserve a pathetic little fan girl that never left him alone and hindered his work on the field, even though you wished so badly you could see him again, as the taste of his lips and mouth never left your fuzzy mind.
you kissed megumi fushiguro.
“oh my god y/n, you’re so stupid.”
“no i’m not! do you really believe megumi could ever like me back? no! absolutely not. i kissed him and i fucked up and that’s it. i’m staying away from him.”
your best friend ran her fingers through her hair and almost tore a chunk out in frustration. “it sounds like he kissed you! he had his hand on your thigh—”
“that was for stability! he—”
“no it was to feel you up!”
you shook your head side to side with your arms crossed. “nope nope nope nope—”
“y/nnnn!”
as for megumi, the next game he had he looked for you while on the field like he always did, looking forward to seeing your precious face and giving you a little wave… except he couldn’t find you. after the game, he went around the stadium and towards the locker room, inside and back out, the parking lot, his parking lot—
and he couldn’t find you.
this went on for a full three weeks of game after game nearly every day him doing the same exact thing— him getting increasingly more confused and a bit upset at your disappearance, going as far as to staying hours after his games still in his sweaty baseball uniform and cap with hopes that you’ll turn up.
except you never did.
and at the end of the third week, he had had enough.
“oh hey megumi!” your best friend greeted him, her hand fixing around yuji’s hair in the locker room after a game.
“hi.”
he stood there and said nothing, and your best friend eyed him skeptically. “…yes?”
megumi shifted awkwardly. “have you um… have you seen y/n?”
she sucked in a breath. “uh yeah. i saw her this morning.”
“this morning?” his eyes narrowed. “is she okay? why hasn’t she been coming to our games with you?”
“because—” she stammered. “well because—”
“is it our place to say?” yuji muttered.
“is it our place to know?” she whispered back harshly.
“i don’t know!”
“let’s just tell him!”
“but what if!—”
megumi rolled his eyes and huffed. “nevermind. please tell her to come tomorrow, i need to talk to her.”
your best friend gulped and nodded, both her and yuji watching the way he walked away and snatched his cap off, throwing it inside his locker and slamming it shut with his foot before picking up his duffel bag and leaving, not even bothering to change out of his dirt covered uniform.
“i’ve never seen him so stressed,” yuji commented.
“it’s because he likes her and she’s being an idiot…” your best friend sighed sadly.
so when she came to you the next day and told you megumi needed to speak to you, she amplified how upset he was to get you to feel bad and feel the urgent need to come to the game tonight, which you of course did.
and you were worried. so so worried and scared that he was finally going to tell you off for kissing him, to tell you that you sucked and that he never ever wanted to see you again in his life and that you were a disgusting human being—
but the roar of the crowd pulled you from your thoughts, the team winning once again as many began to pack their things and take their leave. you were completely and utterly shitting yourself, petrified and already heartbroken over the fact that megumi was officially going to cut you off as a friend when you hadn’t even had the chance to try and win him over yet.
and the way he played on the field tonight was way more aggressive than normal. he was louder, meaner, and didn’t take his eyes away from the ball or his opponents as he nearly got into a fight with another player, yuji and a few others needing to pull megumi apart and set him aside to cool off— the cameras and reporters having a field day in regards to him.
and that bothered you like nothing else. why the hell were they so excited over him getting angry? to amplify the brand that he upholds as the teams meanest player? as if they’ve never had a bad day a day in their lives? what was the point?
and it was all because of you, you realized.
you made him upset.
you covered your face with your hands and groaned, feeling like you wanted to cry.
“y/n…” your best friend patted your back. “it’ll be fine… he just needs to talk to you! you don’t even know what it’s about.”
“i can take a wild guess.”
she looked at you worriedly before picking up her things. “whenever you’re ready babe… i think he’s in the locker rooms by now.”
she left you there to gather yourself, and you sat there for a couple of more minutes before finally getting up and making your way to the locker rooms.
most of the fans had cleared out by now, and the sun was beginning to set as you passed and squeezed through crew members and news reporters, gnawing at your bottom lip as you turned a corner and spotted the locker room, many of the players already leaving.
just as you had reached your hand up to open the door, a firm voice called out to you.
“y/n.”
you froze, retracting your hand as you turned to look.
megumi stood there at the end of the hall, his baseball uniform still on and his cap dangling from his belt loop, hands in tight fists with his chest rising and falling, an agitated look on his face that you had never seen before.
“h—hi-”
“are you trying to forget me? is that what’s going on?”
your eyebrows furrowed.
“what?”
megumi took stride full steps towards you. “you finally talk to me, you confess to me, you disappear for a month, i wait for you, you finally show up at the banquet looking like the most beautiful woman i’ve ever seen in my fucking life—”
he stopped in front of you. “takuma tries to steal you from me, i get pissed off, i fall for you at the park, i kiss you—“ he threw his arms up. “and you disappear again!”
your eyes bulge out of their sockets.
fall?
“you what?—”
“so i’m asking you again,” megumi bent his knees to look at you at eye level, his hands coming up to cup your pink cheeks and his face so close to yours you can make out the exact color of his eyes.
“are you trying to forget me? like you said you would?”
you fidgeted.
“i— i was doing it for you—”
“why for me? i never said—”
the feeling of his big hands on your cheeks was making your heart do backflips and trick shots as your wide doe eyes looked at him.
“because when i kissed you i made you uncomfortable and i don’t ever want you to be so i thought it’d be best if i left you alone—”
“okay let’s fix that right now,” his hands tightened slightly around your cheeks and he readjusted his footing, knees still bent. “i kissed you. if anything i should be the one worried if i made you uncomfortable because i put my hand on your thigh like that and for that i’m sorry.”
“no but—”
“yes y/n. i kissed you because you’re polite and you’re sweet and you’re funny, and you don’t see me as rude like everybody else does. and even though you’re naive and helpless sometimes, i like that you are. i like you.”
“but you’re megumi fushiguro…” you squeaked.
“so?”
“and i’m a loser.”
he laughed so cutely and shook his head, his pearly whites fully shining at you so big that it took you back to the first time he smiled in front of you.
“no you’re not you big dummy.”
he let go of your cheeks and placed his palms flat against the brick wall behind you, cornering you in as he let his head hang low, the top of his spiky black hair the only thing in your line of vision.
“i don’t know how else i can make you see…”
he sounded so exhausted, and your heart clenched.
“was it—” you timidly placed your hands on his shoulders. “was it actually you that kissed me?”
he nodded, head still hung.
“and do you actually like me? like— like more than a friend…”
“way fucking more,” he mumbled.
you bit the inside of your cheek as you tried to contain yourself from screaming.
you couldn’t believe it. the megumi fushiguro, number eighteen, the most handsome man you’ve ever seen and the kindest one you’ve ever met… liked you.
“i could’ve sworn i kissed you..” you spoke softly, trailing off.
“you didn’t.” his voice was firm. “i kissed you and i put my hand up your thigh…” his forehead lifted to rest on the crook of your neck as he sighed a deep breath.
“i told— i told takuma to scram at the banquet because i got jealous that you were talking to him more than me. i saw you crying in the hall that first time we spoke and i recognized you and i went up to you because finally—”
he picked his head up slowly, eyes serious. “finally, you noticed me.”
he was so close that your nose brushed gently with his.
“you’re so dense y/n…”
megumi’s eyes flickered to your lips, “i’ve wanted you since the party.”
“the party?” you murmured.
he nodded. “the party where your friend first met yuji.”
your breath hitched as you felt his hands slide down the wall and snake over your hips, holding you tightly against him as the shock of his words made your body numb and tingly.
since the party?
it all seemed to click into place then, every single moment megumi tried to get you to look at him, to talk to him, in his own discreet way that you were completely oblivious to. and you were so fucking caught up in this fog of denial, that a person like megumi could never be interested in a person like you, that it made you push him away for the longest time without even giving yourself a chance.
you were so fucking stupid.
your arms slowly wrapped around his broad shoulders, the rough feeling of his baseball uniform underneath your fingertips and arms as you pressed your nose up against his shoulder shyly, feeling so incredibly bad for avoiding megumi for so long.
“i’m sorry…” you mumbled. “i’m sorry i was so oblivious gumi.”
you felt him shake his head from the crook of your neck silently, the vibration of his heart beating rapidly against you making you sweat and melt at the same time.
“don’t be.”
“i just—” you struggled. “i just thought you didn’t like me like i liked you and i wanted to respect your space…”
“i understand,” he muttered. “but i don’t want you to respect my space anymore.”
you held him tighter.
“and—” your voice was slightly muffled by his shoulder.
“hm?”
“i liked it when you put your hand on my thigh…”
megumi stilled, you playing the night he kissed you over and over in your head again like you’ve done since it happened— the thought making you nervous and timid.
he gripped you tighter.
“did you?”
you nodded, “mhm.”
megumi without parting from you, slipped a hand under your shirt and soothed his fingers over the bare skin of your torso, your breathing stuttering, his rough hand radiating warmth.
“what else do you like.”
you gripped the fabric of his uniform.
“i like… i like the way you kissed me. and how you touch me… like right now.”
your voice was so so soft, practically a whisper as he seemed to shiver under your words, wanting more.
“what else.”
“you,” you mumbled. “your body… your hair… your face… your hands… the way you talk to people.”
“you want me?” he murmured breathlessly.
“more than anything.”
“what else do you like?”
you leaned your head back a little and pressed your lips to his ear. “the way you play ball.”
he hummed, “you like the way i play baby?”
you nodded, your heart hammering.
he lifted his face from the crook of your neck and shamelessly pressed his lips to your cheek, murmuring.
“you wanna see what else i can do?”
“what— what else?”
megumi’s face remained pressed against your cheek as he let both of his hands now snake underneath your shirt and upwards, slowly but roughly groping the cup of your tits over your bra, feeling you up as you gasped.
“uh huh..” he pressed an open mouthed wet kiss to your pink fuzzy cheek. “‘cause i can do a lot more than just be your cool baseball man.”
he roughly spun you around and pushed you up against the wall, his hands coming back up to your breasts to grope you as he shoved and rubbed his hardened clothed dick against your perky ass, your tiny skirt riding up and revealing your pretty pink panties that made him absolutely feral.
“gumi!” you gasped. “s—someone could see—”
“i don’t fucking care.”
megumi buried his nose further into the back of your neck and your hair, him being a little pervert in the most delicious and intoxicating way possible.
he dragged his mouth up against your skin and latched on to the nape of your neck, sucking and biting sloppily against it as he marked you aggressively, no doubt in your mind that a purple bruise would follow soon after as his hands slipped under your bra now, pinching your hard nipples meanly and laughing when you jumped.
you moaned and whined against the wall, your body trembling as you felt your slick arousal slip from your hole and dampen your panties, choked up embarrassment coating your face as he shoved his fingers down your skirt without warning.
“you’re soaked baby…” he whispered. “and all because i grabbed your tits?”
“megumiii…” you whined, and you squeaked as he quickly slipped his fingers in between your pussy lips and pinched your clit.
“gumi,” he corrected. “fix it.”
“g—gumi—”
“good, pretty baby...” he praised, his dick rock fucking solid against your ass at the way his fingers slipped and slid in between your lower lips without much effort, both of your chests heaving and panting as your brains frazzled erotically.
the sounds of footsteps echoed from the end of the hall and you both immediately froze, a gasp slipping past your lips before megumi quickly covered your mouth with the same hand that was just fingering you.
“shh.” he kissed the back of your head.
if anyone were to walk in and see the sight before them— megumi with his crotch pressed up against your ass, a hand pushing your top and bra up, squeezing your bare puffy tit and the other covering your mouth?
they’d drop dead.
without another moment wasted, megumi uncovered your mouth and turned you around, his tongue darting out and licking the patch of wet on your cheek from his fingers before shoving them in his mouth, sucking up your left over juice as he bent down and wrapped his arms around your legs, lifting and throwing you over his shoulder.
megumi was freaky.
your eyes widened as he walked to the double doors of the locker room and kicked it open with his foot, turning around to lock them shut before walking to a corner and setting you down gently on a bench, his palms flat beside you on the smooth wood as he towered over you.
“is— is everybody gone?”
“long gone.” he nibbled at your cheek.
“but— but what if someone wants to come in?—”
he pulled away and got down on his knees. “i’ll tell them to fuck off.”
you panted as he pressed his hands against your thighs and squeezed, spreading them apart slowly with his eyes trained to your drenched cute pink panties.
he slid his hands underneath your thighs and lifted, bending you and pressing your knees closer to you as your back hit the lockers behind you, your hands gripping the bench for dear life.
“has anyone ever seen your pussy?” he gruffed, licking his lips.
you shook your head, embarrassed. “n—no.”
“has any other man touched you the way i’ve touched you?”
“m—maybe in high school?—”
megumi sunk his teeth into your inner thigh and bit you as you yelped.
“thought you liked me.”
“i do!” you sputtered.
“clearly not if you’re being a little whore and letting other filthy men on you.”
your hole clenched.
“that— that was before you!”
he stuck his tongue out and pressed it flat against your pussy covered panties, dragging it slowly and agonizingly up until the tip of his tongue passed and flicked up against your clit, the tip moving around and around your little nub as your thighs shook.
“doesn’t matter.” he let a string of drool fall from the corner of his lips and over your ruined underwear, your eyes fluttering as you felt his warm saliva ooze in between your lips.
“and what about takuma, hm?”
you tried to open your eyes. “ta—takuma?”
“mhm. he was all over you.”
you hiccuped as he wrapped his fingers around the straps of your panties and pulled them down.
“i—”
“bet he wanted to do to you what i’m doing right now…” he hummed. “would you have let him?”
he stuffed his nose into your bare pussy and inhaled deeply, your jaw dropping as you squeezed your eyes shut.
your lack of response caused him to pull away and bite your thigh again, harder.
“would you?”
“n—no!” you shook your head quickly, strands of your hair lightly grazing your face. “i wouldn’t—”
“so who then?” he licked over his bite mark. “who would you spread your legs open for like this and let them see what a nasty fucking girl you are…”
“you gumi!” you hiccuped. “just you—”
“just me?”
megumi finally let his tongue slither itself in between your folds, slowly running over your flaps and clit as your hole continued to squelch out your arousal, pooling on the bench beneath you.
“y—yes!”
he slobbered and spit over your pussy like a starved dog, his face glistening like sugary glazed sweets.
“that’s what i fucking thought,” he hummed. “you gonna try and forget me again?”
“no!” you shook your head. “never! i can’t!”
he gripped your thighs tighter as he absolutely violated your folds then, wet sloshing and slurpings filling the air as he spat and shook his head side to side rapidly on your clit, you squealing and attempting to snap your thighs shut in response, his strong grip not letting you even if you tried.
“i—i can’t!” you cried. “gumi slow please it’s too much—”
“be a pretty baby and stop complaining.” he ran his slimy tongue over your pussy entirely before shoving it inside your hole.
you choked and clasped a trembling hand over your mouth, tears of ecstasy spilling from the corners of your eyes as you squeezed them shut.
you whimpered and moaned and cried so pathetically, so cutely in his ears that he grinned as he pumped his tongue in and out of you filthily.
“you’re so fucking sweet—” he slapped your cunt and you jumped. “good thing i have a sweet tooth.”
your legs shook violently as you began to see stars, your tight hole clenching and sputtering around nothing as you felt your release approaching.
“gumi—” your hand flew back to the bench and you gripped it. “m’gonna cum! i’m— i’m gonna make a mess—”
megumi’s hand shot up and wrapped around one of your thighs so the tips of his fingers met your clit, his digits proceeding to rub and flick it as you climbed and reached your high, a high pitched scream echoing through the steamy locker room as your pussy leaked your sweet cum on his tongue.
you shuddered and jumped at the way he cleaned up your release and swallowed it, running his tongue soothingly over the bite marks on your thighs before coming back up and wiping his glistening face with his sleeve.
megumi leaned in and pressed a gentle loving kiss to your lips, a complete turn around from the feral beast you had in between your legs— you kissing him back with just as much feel and affection.
he pulled back and got back up on his feet, you watching him ditzy as he jogged over to his locker and turned the lock until it clicked open, him rummaging inside for a little before he shut it and came back with a fresh pair of gray sweatpants.
“put these on baby,” he murmured.
you nodded sweetly and took them from him, you slipping off your skirt and pulling his sweatpants over as you watched him bend and look over corners.
“what are you looking for?” you asked softly.
he perked up then and stuck his hand under a bench, pulling out your wet ruined pink panties and holding them up high like a trophy.
“oh my god—” you covered your mouth in embarrassment. “give me those!”
“nope.” he shook his head and walked over to his duffel bag on the floor, unzipping it before stuffing your panties inside. “these are mine now.”
megumi came back up and wrapped his palm underneath your chin, tilting your face up softly before planting a sweet kiss to your swollen lips.
“and so are you.”
and that you were.
you went on many many dates with megumi after that, each and every single one so incredibly lovely and fun, a genuine connection you felt with him and each other that you had never ever felt before in your life, absolutely enamored by the way he gently treated you and made you feel like the only one that mattered in his life.
your best friend was obviously over the moon for you, squealing like a maniac at everything you told her, and always teased megumi about his lovesick face whenever you came to his games or appeared in the locker room to help him change, sort his clothes, or fix his hair.
“megumi…” she snickered. “your cheeks are a little red! are you like— sick?”
he scowled at her and turned the other way, wiping his sweaty forehead as he watched you bounce down the steps cutely and onto the field after one of his practices, a huge smile on your face that replicated on his.
the minute you jumped into his arms, he peppered your little cheeks with kisses as you giggled and ruffled his spiky hair, asking him how he felt about practice and other things after he set you down.
without anyone noticing, a journalist was on the field, and at the sight of megumi fushiguro’s beaming toothy smile as he watched you run to him, they quickly snapped a photo and published it.
one was a perfect portrait photo of his shining white smile (that later became his signature picture) and the other was a photo of his arms out for you as you ran, the both of them causing an absolute uproar that altered megumi’s image from that day forward.
megumi fushiguro was thought to be the meanest player on the team since the day he got signed.
but when he started taking more pictures with fans, kind of stopped offending the people around him, signed more autographs, and smiled occasionally at the paparazzi— all while your pretty self stood right next to him?
megumi fushiguro was sometimes the meanest player on the team.

was wearing a kraken hat and chatting with a customer about hockey who turned out to be a capitals fan and they said they were going to win “by the power of love and friendship” which is…NOT how I perceive that team at all.

(I've included this manga cap because the thing about icing not being a penalty if you're shorthanded was something I legitimately didn't know and always got confused about when I saw it happen in games lol)

Tumblr media
“watch where you’re going, princess,” satoru calls, his voice dripping with that infuriating smirk as you nearly collide with him outside the college ice rink, your skates slung over your shoulder. his white hair’s a mess under his cap, fully dressed in his hockey gear and blue eyes glinting like he knows he’s getting under your skin.
you’re the campus darling—figure skater, straight-a student, the girl everyone wants to be or be with—and satoru, star of the hockey team, never lets you forget it. “maybe if you didn’t hog the rink, i wouldn’t have to,” you snap, brushing past, ignoring his laugh, “damn, you’re hot when you’re mad.”
he’s been like this since freshman year, always at the rink when you practice, tossing compliments that feel like taunts: “looking good out there, princess,” or “bet you’d fall for me if you tried.” you hate how it flusters you, how he’s always there, stick in hand, watching your spins with those stupid, piercing eyes.
you’re not just some popular girl; you’re a national-level figure skater, and your partner, choso, is your ticket to the upcoming intercollegiate pairs competition. satoru’s just a distraction, a thorn in your side, and you tell yourself you despise him.
but today, everything changes. you’re mid-practice, choso lifting you for a twist, when he stumbles, knee buckling, and you both crash to the ice. pain shoots through your ankle, but choso’s worse, clutching his leg, coach rushing over.
“sprained, maybe torn ligament,” the medic says later, and your heart sinks—competition’s in six weeks, and choso’s out. you’re sitting on the bleachers, icing your ankle, when coach approaches, looking grim. “we need a replacement, and fast. you’re our best shot at nationals, but you need a partner.”
“who’s left?” you ask, dreading the answer. coach hesitates, “gojo. he’s the only one with the skill.” you laugh, bitter, “satoru? the hockey clown? no way.” but coach is serious, “he’s not just hockey. he was a competitive figure skater before college, junior nationals level. he’s your best option.” you’re stunned, picturing satoru’s smug grin, but coach insists, “meet him tomorrow. no choice.”
next day, satoru’s waiting at the rink, no hockey gear, just a fitted black sweater and skates, looking… different. focused. good.
“so, princess, ready to dance with me?” he teases, but there’s an edge, like he’s daring you to underestimate him. you cross arms, “don’t call me that. and don’t screw this up.” he smirks, “wouldn’t dream of it, hotshot.”
you grit teeth, hating how he makes “hotshot” sound like a caress, but when you hit the ice, he’s… good. terrifyingly good. his edges are clean, spins tight, and he glides like he was born on blades, not a puck in sight.
training’s hell. satoru’s a paradox—cocky off-ice, all “look at you, miss popular, melting the rink,” but precise on it, catching you in lifts like you weigh nothing, his hands firm, warm through your costume. you’re smaller, maybe a foot shorter, and his height makes throws effortless, but his teasing never stops.
“c’mon, you can moan louder than that when you land,” he quips after a rough jump, and you shove him, “shut up, gojo.” he laughs, “satoru, please. we’re partners now.” you roll eyes, but your cheeks burn, and you hate how his voice lingers.
weeks pass, and tension shifts. you’re syncing, moves fluid, his hands guiding you in spins, your bodies brushing in ways that spark—his breath on your neck, fingers grazing your waist. you’re practicing a side-by-side lutz, and he’s close, whispering, “you’re too stiff, loosen up,” his hand on your hip, lingering. “stop flirting,” you snap, but your voice wavers, and he grins, “who’s flirting? just helping my partner.”
you want to hate him, but you’re starting to… not. he’s still a tease, but he’s there early, lacing your skates when your ankle’s sore, taping your wrist after a fall, muttering, “can’t have you breaking, princess.”
one evening, the rink’s empty, music off, just the scrape of your blades echoing in the dim, frosty air. you’re alone, wrestling a triple salchow, your nemesis jump. you’ve been at it for an hour, frustration knotting your chest, each attempt ending in a wobbly landing or a near-fall. you curse under your breath, pushing hair from your face, ready to try again, when satoru glides in, unannounced. he’s in a plain hoodie, skates silent, blue eyes catching the rink’s faint lights, softer than you’ve ever seen.
“you’re overthinking,” he says, skating close, stopping a breath away. “it’s not math, hotshot. feel it.” you frown, “easy for you to say,” but he doesn’t tease, just holds out a hand, steady, calloused from ice hockey. “c’mon, like this.”
you hesitate, then take it, his grip firm, warm through your chilled fingers, grounding you. he pulls you gently, skating backward, guiding you slow, deliberate, across the ice. “don’t force it,” he murmurs, eyes locked on yours, “let your body move.” his voice is soft, almost hypnotic, and you follow, mirroring his glide, your blades carving smooth arcs, his hand anchoring you.
he adjusts your posture, a hand brushing your waist, light but deliberate, “hips loose, not stiff.” you try to focus, but his touch, his nearness, makes your pulse jump.
you skate together, slow circles, his grip steady, guiding you into a single salchow, then a double, his voice coaxing, “there, that’s it, now push.” you land it, clean, and he smiles, “see? you’ve got it.” you’re breathless, not from skating, but from him. “why do you always tease me?” you ask.
he pauses, blades still, hand tightening on yours. “’cause you’re you,” he says, voice quieter, “all fire and ice, untouchable. makes me wanna… get close, break that wall.”
your heart skips, his words stripping you bare. “you’re close now,” you whisper, and he steps nearer, ice crunching, his height towering, breath visible in the cold. “yeah,” he murmurs, “too close,” blue eyes raw, searching yours, like he’s seeing past your popularity, your armor, to the girl who’s scared to fall.
you’re still holding hands, bodies inches apart, the rink’s chill fading against the heat between you. his thumb brushes your knuckles, slow, deliberate, and you wonder if he’ll kiss you, if you want him to. you’re not enemies, but you don’t admit it. competition nears, your sensual routine demanding trust.
during a late practice, satoru’s lifts are flawless, his hands steady, guiding you through a triple twist like you’re weightless. but you fumble a throw salchow, misjudging the edge, and your body twists awkwardly, crashing hard onto the ice with a sharp gasp, pain flaring through your hip and ankle.
you hiss, curling into yourself, the cold biting through your leggings. satoru’s there in a heartbeat, sliding to his knees beside you, panic flickering in his blue eyes, usually so smug. “shit, you okay?” he asks, voice low, urgent, hands hovering like he’s afraid to touch you.
“fine,” you mutter, trying to sit up, but the pain makes you wince, and he’s not buying it, his brows furrowing. “don’t bullshit me, hotshot,” he says, softer now, one hand gently pressing your shoulder to keep you still. “stay down a sec.” you glare, hating the vulnerability, “i said i’m fine, gojo,” but your voice lacks bite, and he shakes his head, “no heroics, we need you in one piece.”
before you can protest, he scoops you up, effortless, his arms strong under your back and knees, carrying you to the rinkside bench like you’re something fragile. you’re smaller against him, your head brushing his shoulder, and despite the pain, your cheeks burn at how close he is, his cologne—crisp, like winter air—filling your senses.
he sets you down gently, kneeling in front of you, eyes scanning for damage. “where’s it hurt?” he asks, hands already moving, careful, to your ankle, fingers brushing the skin above your skate. you flinch, more from his touch than pain, “hip and ankle, not bad.” he frowns, “not bad my ass,” and unlaces your skate with ease, slipping it off, his touch so soft it’s almost reverent.
“satoru, i can—” you start, but he cuts you off, “shut up and let me help.” it’s not mean, just firm, and you’re too stunned to argue, watching him roll your legging up, exposing your ankle, already swelling slightly.
he grabs an ice pack from the rink’s first-aid kit, wrapping it in a towel, and presses it to your ankle, his large hands steady, holding it in place. “keep this on,” he says, eyes flicking to yours, checking for compliance, and you nod, biting lip at the cold.
his fingers linger, brushing your skin, and you notice how big his hands are, dwarfing your ankle, making you feel delicate in a way that’s new, unsettling. he shifts to your hip, hand hovering, “can i check here?” you nod, and he presses gently, testing for tenderness, his touch clinical but warm through your shirt, sending a shiver up your spine. “just bruised, i think,” he murmurs, more to himself, but his hand stays.
“you didn’t have to carry me,” you mumble, trying to reclaim some control, but your voice is soft, and he smirks, though it’s gentler than usual, “wanted to, princess. can’t have my partner breaking.” you roll eyes, “i’m not your anything,” but the words lack heat, and he chuckles, “keep telling yourself that.” he adjusts the ice pack, his fingers brushing your calf, and you’re hyperaware of every touch, the rink’s chill fading against the warmth of his proximity.
he sits beside you, close, shoulder brushing yours, and grabs a water bottle, handing it over, “drink, you look pale.” you take it, sipping, and he watches, quiet now, no teasing, just concern. “you scared me,” he admits, voice low, almost shy, and you blink, “scared you? mr. invincible?” he laughs, soft, “yeah, well, you’re kinda important.” your heart does a flip, and you look away, “don’t get sappy, gojo.”
“satoru,” he corrects, tilting your chin back with a finger, his touch light but electric, forcing you to meet his gaze. he’s closer than ever, and you’re frozen, breath catching. “say it,” he murmurs, thumb brushing your jaw, “satoru.”
you swallow, “satoru,” voice barely a whisper, and his lips quirk, “good girl.” the air shifts, heavy, his face inches from yours, eyes dropping to your lips, and you’re leaning in, drawn, his breath warm, mingling with yours—
a rink door slams, a janitor’s voice echoing, and you both jolt, pulling back, hearts pounding. he clears his throat, “uh, better check that ice,” standing, but his hand lingers on your shoulder, squeezing, “rest, okay?” you nod, flustered, “yeah, okay.” he smirks, “don’t fall for me too hard, hotshot,” and you scoff, “in your dreams,” but as he skates off, you’re not so sure.
final practice, you nail the routine—spins sync, lifts soar, his hand catching yours mid-air like it’s fate. you’re panting, faces close, and he murmurs, “we’re gonna kill this.” you nod, “damn right,” and he grins, “that’s my girl.” your stomach flips, and you don’t correct him.
competition day, arena buzzing, you’re in a glittery costume, satoru in sleek black, hair tamed. backstage, he’s quieter, “nervous?” you shrug, “you?” he smirks, “nah, got my lucky charm,” nudging you. you roll eyes, but smile, “don’t mess up, partner.” he winks, “never.”
the ice is yours. music begins, and you’re fire and ice together—his lifts make you fly, spins mirror-perfect, your hand in his like it belongs. you feel the crowd, the judges, but it’s just you and satoru, his breath syncing with yours, his hands strong, guiding, teasing even now with a whispered, “lookin’ hot,” mid-spin. you hiss, “focus,” but laugh, and he chuckles, “always.” the final lift, he throws you, catches you, dipping you low, faces inches apart, and the crowd roars as music fades.
scores come—first place. you’re screaming, hugging him, and he lifts you off your feet, spinning, “told you we’d kill it!” you’re laughing, “you’re not half bad, gojo.” he grins, “satoru. and you’re fucking incredible.” you’re too happy to argue, letting him pull you close, his warmth sinking in.
“admit it, princess, you’re totally into me now,” satoru gojo teases, leaning against the changing room locker, his white hair still damp from the rink, blue eyes glinting with that infuriating, irresistible mischief.
the competition’s over, your first-place medals heavy around your necks, the arena’s buzz fading, leaving just you two in the cramped, fluorescent-lit room, costumes half-unzipped, skates off. you’re sitting on a bench, peeling off your glittery tights, and you scoff, “in your dreams, gojo. you’re still a pain in my ass.”
he grins, stepping closer, towering over you, his sleek black costume clinging to every lean muscle, making your stomach flip despite yourself. “oh, c’mon, hotshot, i saw you blushing out there, all pressed up against me in that dip,” he says, voice low, playful, but with an edge that sends heat up your spine.
you stand, barely reaching his shoulder, and poke his chest, “i was acting, you idiot. we’re partners, not lovers.” his smirk widens, “acting, huh? so why’s your face red now?”
you roll your eyes, turning to grab your bag, but he’s faster, grabbing your wrist gently, spinning you to face him. “satoru—” you start, but he’s close, too close, breath warm, eyes dropping to your lips. “you like me,” he murmurs, and before you can deny it, he kisses you, soft at first, testing, lips warm and sure, stealing your breath. he pulls back, smirking, “should i stop?”
you glare, “no,” and yank him down, kissing him harder, desperate, hands fisting his shirt, pulling him closer. he groans, surprised, then dives in, kissing you deep, tongue brushing yours, hands sliding to your waist, gripping tight, pressing you against the locker. it’s messy, urgent, your lips crashing, teeth grazing, his hands roaming, one slipping under your unzipped jacket, warm against your bare back, making you gasp into his mouth.
you’re drowning in him—his cologne, his low chuckles between kisses, the way he’s both gentle and demanding, tilting your head to deepen it. “still denying it?” he whispers against your lips, nibbling lightly, and you huff, “shut up,” kissing him again, fingers in his hair, tugging, earning a soft moan.
the changing room feels smaller, hotter, the world narrowing to his lips, his hands, the way you fit against him despite your height difference. “fuck, you’re trouble,” he murmurs, kissing along your jaw, and you laugh, breathless, “you’re one to talk.” he grins, pulling you closer, “bet i can make you worse.”
“you’re all talk, gojo,” you shoot back, tugging at his sleek black costume, but your voice is shaky, betraying the heat pooling low in your belly. “all talk? oh, princess, you’re gonna eat those words,” he says, and before you can retort, he sinks to his knees, his hands sliding up your thighs, pushing your sparkly skirt higher.
the cold bench bites into your skin as you sit, legs parting instinctively, and his fingers hook your panties, tugging them down with a smirk, “look at you, already so ready.” you hiss, “satoru, the door,” glancing at the unlocked entrance, but he shrugs, “let ‘em walk in. i’m busy.” his nonchalance sends a thrill through you, and you’re bare now, skirt bunched at your hips, pussy exposed, slick glistening under the harsh lights.
he looks up, eyes darkening, “fuck, you’re gorgeous,” voice rough, no trace of his usual teasing lilt. his hands grip your thighs, spreading you wider, and you flush, hands gripping the bench, “stop staring.” he grins, “can’t help it, hotshot,” and leans in, breath warm against your folds, making you shiver.
his tongue flicks out, teasing your clit, light, barely there, and you gasp, “oh, shit!” head falling back, the locker rattling behind you. he hums, pleased, and licks again, slower, a broad stripe from your entrance to clit, tasting your arousal, sweet and heady, his tongue curling, savoring every drop.
“so fucking wet,” he groans, pulling back to watch your pussy clench, slick dripping onto the bench, and you whimper, “shut up, just—do something.” he laughs, “bossy, huh? love that,” and dives in, no more teasing, mouth relentless, sucking your clit softly, then harder, tongue flicking fast, precise, driving you wild. his lips seal around you, pulling gently, and you moan, loud, “satoru, fuck!” hands flying to his white hair, tugging, earning a muffled growl that vibrates through you, sending sparks up your spine. he’s messy, slurping, licking through your folds, tongue circling your entrance, dipping in just enough to make you buck, desperate for more.
“taste so good,” he mutters, and you’re trembling, thighs shaking, trying to close them, but his hands hold you open, fingers digging into your skin, bruising. “stay still, princess,” he orders, and you try, but it’s hard when his tongue’s relentless, flicking your clit, then sliding down to tease your hole, pushing in, fucking you shallow, slick coating his chin, dripping to the bench. you’re a mess, moaning, “satoru, please,” hips grinding, chasing his mouth, and he smirks against you, “so needy, look at you.”
he pulls back, blowing cool air on your pussy, making you whine, “don’t stop!” and he chuckles, “patience, hotshot.” his fingers trace your folds, one slipping inside, slow, stretching, curling to hit that spot, and you gasp, “fuck, right there.” he adds another, pumping steady, deep, while his tongue returns to your clit, licking fast, syncing with his fingers, building you up, pressure coiling tight.
“satoru, gonna cum,” you moan, voice breaking, and he growls, “do it, cum on my face,” sucking hard, fingers curling. “satoru!” you moan, pussy gushing, soaking his mouth, fingers, bench, body shaking, vision white, tugging his hair, riding the waves as you cum.
he doesn’t stop, licking through your orgasm, overstimulating, tongue relentless, fingers still pumping. “too much,” you whimper, pushing at his head, but he grabs your wrist, pinning it, “you can take it,” voice mean, eyes glinting. he slows, kissing your inner thigh, nipping lightly, leaving marks, and you’re panting, dazed, cum sticky on your skin, his face glistening. “fuck, you’re perfect,” he murmurs, standing, pulling you up, and you’re wobbly, leaning into him, kissing him, tasting yourself, moaning into his mouth, messy and desperate.
“need you,” he growls, shoving his costume pants down, cock springing free—thick, long, tip red and leaking, veins pulsing. you lick lips, “fuck, satoru,” and he smirks, “like what you see?” you nod, “want it,” and he lifts you, effortless, pinning you against the locker wall, cold metal biting your back, his hands under thighs, spreading you wide.
“so fucking needy,” he teases, rubbing his cock through your slick, coating himself, teasing your entrance, “beg, princess.” you glare, “just fuck me, asshole,” and he laughs, “that’s my girl,” thrusting in, slow at first, stretching you tight, making you cry out, “fuck, s’big!”
he pauses, letting you adjust, forehead against yours, “you okay?” voice softer, checking, and you nod, “yeah, move.” he does, pulling out, slamming back in, deep, filling you, pussy clenching, slick and cum easing the stretch. “so tight,” he groans, thrusting steady, hard, wall rattling, skin slapping, your moans loud, echoing, “satoru, fuck!” his hands grip tighter, bruising, lifting you higher, angling deeper, hitting that spot, making you see stars. “look at you, taking me so well,” he praises, but it’s laced with teasing, “thought you hated me, huh?”
“shut up,” you gasp, nails digging into his shoulders, legs wrapped around him, pulling him closer, loving his cock, his voice, his fucking smirk. “make me,” he taunts, fucking harder, faster, locker banging, your pussy soaking him, dripping, smearing between you, down his thighs, to the floor. “gonna cum again,” you moan, head thrown back, and he grins, “already? greedy little thing,” one hand sliding to rub your clit, fast, sloppy, and you’re screaming, “satoru, fuck!” pussy pulsing again, cumming hard.
he doesn’t slow, “fuck, that’s it,” thrusting through your orgasm, relentless, cock dragging, overstimulating, making you whimper, “satoru, can’t.” he growls, “oh, you can,” and keeps going, harder, deeper, wall creaking, your body pinned, helpless, his. “so fucking good,” he groans, thrusts sloppy, losing rhythm, and you feel him twitch, “gonna cum,” he warns, and you moan, “inside, please.” he curses, “fuck, you’re killing me,” and cums, hot, thick, filling you, spilling out, dripping down your thighs.
he holds you, panting, foreheads pressed, your legs weak, cum trickling, sticky, warm. he kisses you, softer, slow, tongue lazy, and you melt, hands in his hair, tugging gently. “you like that, don’t you?” he teases, lips brushing yours, and you laugh, breathless, “it’s not bad.” he grins, “one more, then?” he pants, still hard inside you, voice rough, eyes glinting with that sadistic tease you’re starting to crave.
you’re dazed, cum trickling down your thighs, body trembling against the wall, and you blink, “what?” he grins, wicked, pulling out slow, making you whimper at the loss. “oh, you heard me, hotshot,” he says, grabbing your hips, spinning you so fast you yelp, “satoru, what the—!”
he sits on the bench, still slick with your cum, and pulls you onto his lap, spinning you to face away, straddling him reverse, your back against his chest, legs spread wide. “ride me,” he orders, voice low, hands guiding your hips, his cock nudging your entrance, already hard again, tip brushing your swollen folds.
you moan, “satoru, i can’t,” body spent, but he nips your ear, “oh, you can, princess, and you will.” his hands are firm, lifting you, teasing your pussy with his cock, making you shiver, want pooling despite exhaustion.
“look at yourself,” he murmurs, tilting your head toward the full-length mirror across the changing room, your reflection a mess—skirt bunched, costume askew, thighs glistening with cum, face flushed, eyes glassy. “fuck, you’re so hot,” he groans, and you see it too, your body trembling, pussy hovering over his cock, his hands gripping you, possessive. you meet his gaze in the mirror, blue eyes burning, and you nod, “okay,” voice small, but you want it, want him, this reckless, messy heat.
he lowers you, slow, cock sliding in, stretching you again, and you moan, “fuck, satoru,” watching in the mirror as your pussy takes him, inch by inch, his thick length disappearing inside you, slick and cum making it glisten. “that’s it,” he praises, one hand sliding to your pussy, fingers parting your folds, exposing where you’re joined, “look at how you take me, fuck.” you gasp, seeing it—his cock buried deep, your pussy stretched, dripping, his fingers spreading you open, clit swollen and pulsing.
“ride,” he says again, and you do, lifting, slamming down, moaning, “s’too much,” but it’s not, your hips moving, fucking yourself on him, watching in the mirror as his cock slides in and out. “so perfect for me,” he groans, other hand on your hip, guiding, bouncing you, skin slapping, wet sounds filling the room. his fingers rub your clit, slow circles, then fast, and you’re whining, “satoru, fuck!” head falling back, but he tilts it forward, “keep watching, princess, see how you fuck me.”
you do, mesmerized, your pussy clenching, gushing, his cock disappearing, reappearing, slick and cum making every thrust messy, dripping, pooling beneath you. “love this,” he mutters, fingers spreading you wider, “love how my cock looks inside you, so fucking tight.” you moan, “satoru, gonna cum,” hips frantic, riding harder, mirror showing your tits bouncing, his hand on your pussy, his eyes locked on yours. “cum, hotshot,” he growls, rubbing your clit faster and he’s not stopping before he fills you up again, making a mess out of you.
later, you’re panting, trembling, collapsing against him, cum trickling, mirror reflecting your wrecked state. he kisses your neck, soft, “still hate me?” you laugh, breathless, “yeah, but i like that.” he grins, holding you close, “good, ‘cause i’m keeping you, princess.”

love — spencer reid
pairing: spencer reid x fem!reader ( no use of y/n ) summary: spencer accidentally reveals your secret relationship by kissing you in front of the whole team—oh, and blurting out “I love you” for the very first time, too. content warnings: secret relationship , mention of a case , spencer being very worried about the unsub and case but its mostly fluff !! a/n: haiiii !!!!! hope you didn't miss my secret relationship fanfics too much </3 also i finished writing this like 10 minutes ago but i was too excited not to post it
Tumblr media
Things were heating up.
You were getting closer, so close, to catching the unsub. The map was sprawled across the table in front of you, dotted with red circles. You traced another location with your marker, murmuring quietly under your breath, a habit you'd most definitely picked up from your boyfriend.
Spencer was nearby, slouched in a chair, mumbling to himself in a similar fashion. His brows were furrowed. You could tell this case was hitting him harder than most. Maybe it reminded him of something, or someone. Whatever it was, it weighed on him, and that meant it weighed on you, too.
You took care of him as much as you could, though it wasn’t easy with your relationship still hidden from the team. Last night, you’d slipped into his hotel room after everyone else had turned in, finding him already buried in files. You didn’t ask if he was okay, he wouldn’t have answered honestly. Instead, you’d wordlessly sat beside him on the bed, running your fingers through his hair until his shoulders finally relaxed.
“Want to cuddle?” you’d murmured, and he hadn’t even hesitated before nodding, letting you pull him down against the pillows. He’d tucked himself under your chin, his breath warm against your collarbone, and you’d held him, fingers carding gently through his curls until his breathing evened out.
Of course, sneaking out at 6 a.m. had been its own mission. It took you twenty minutes to escape Spencer’s sleepy, koala-like grip. He kept murmuring thank-yous against your skin, kisses trailing from your collarbones to your jaw, like punctuation marks of affection. It had taken everything in you not to crawl back into bed with him.
Now, back in the briefing room, you had even more reason to catch this unsub.
"I got it." Spencer’s voice broke through the silence.
His head snapped up, and the words came pouring out of him like a dam breaking. Facts, patterns, dates, connections. The rest of the team, who had been working in silence, immediately turned their attention to him, hanging onto every word.
“Okay. Morgan and Reid—I want you with me,” Hotch announced the moment Spencer finished unraveling the unsub’s pattern.
Garcia’s fingers flew across her keyboard, sending the coordinates to their phones in a flurry of clicks. This was one of those rare, high-stakes cases where even she had to join them in the field. “Location’s live on your devices,” she said, her usual bubbly tone subdued. Hotch gave her a curt nod of thanks before striding toward the door, Morgan right behind him.
Spencer, however, seemed miles away as he snatched his brown coat from the back of his chair. His mind was already elsewhere, locked onto the unsub. Then, just before following the others, he turned to you.
You were still standing by the board, capping the dry-erase marker and watching him with a soft, worried smile. He seemed exhausted.
“Be careful,” you murmured, voice barely above a whisper.
He blinked, as if snapping back into himself for just a second, and mumbled, “I’ll be okay. I’ll see you later.”
His fingers caught your chin, thumb beneath your jaw, index curled gently under your bottom lip. Time stuttered. His kiss was fleeting, achingly tender, and then his lips brushed yours again as he whispered, "I love you," like it was the simplest truth in the world. And then he was gone, the door swinging shut behind him.
Silence.
Absolute, suffocating silence.
A pin drop would’ve echoed like a gunshot.
“Oh. my. god.” Garcia’s shriek could’ve shattered glass.
Your fingers flew to your lips, still tingling from the ghost of his kiss. The rest of the team was frozen, Rossi’s eyebrows had nearly disappeared into his hairline, JJ’s mouth was slightly open, and Emily looked like she was torn between laughing and demanding an immediate explanation. But you barely registered any of it.
Because Spencer had just said I love you. For the first time. And he’d done it in front of everyone.
Garcia was already flailing her hands, rapid-fire questions spilling out of her“Since when? How did I not know? Oh my god, the touching, the lingering looks, the—!”
But all you could hear was the echo of his voice, playing over and over in your mind like a broken record.
I love you. I love you. I love you.
Your face burned. Your heart threatened to beat out of your chest.
You didn’t even notice Emily waving her hand in front of your face until her voice cut through the haze. “Earth to lovergirl,” she teased, grinning.
Blinking, you turned toward the team, all of them staring at you with varying degrees of shock, amusement, and sheer anticipation.
“What?” you managed, voice still breathless.
“That’s all you have to say?” JJ asked, plopping onto the edge of the desk in disbelief. She grabbed a Cheeto from an open bag, crunching loudly. Garcia was still gaping at you, hands pressed dramatically over her mouth. Behind her colorful glasses, her eyes were massive. Rossi sipped his coffee slowly, clearly judging the entire situation.
“Huh?” you repeated dumbly.
Emily’s smirk softened just a fraction. “You okay?”
You stared at her, still dazed, before muttering, “He said ‘I love you.’”
Another beat of silence. Garcia gasped. “That was his first time saying it?” Her hands flew away from her mouth, gripping the sides of her head like she might explode. And then chaos. Again.
“Oh my god—”
“Since when—”
“Wait, wait, wait—that was the first—”
You spent what felt like hours fielding an avalanche of questions, barely able to catch your breath between them. At first, you tried to dodge them, played dumb, gave vague smiles, busied yourself with the files on the table, but it was pointless. Garcia saw straight through you, pinning you with a look that practically screamed, You’re not getting out of this, sweetheart.
So you caved. “Six months,” you said quietly. There was a loud collective gasp. Garcia clutched her chest like she’d been personally betrayed. ( She was. ) “Six?! Six whole months? And you didn’t say anything?”
You winced. “We were trying to be subtle.”
“You failed!” she cried, throwing her hands up.
Emily laughed. “Okay, next—who made the first move?”
You hesitated, cheeks burning. “He did.” Another round of dramatic gasps echoed around the room. Even Rossi raised his brows, murmuring, “Didn’t peg him for the bold one.”
“He’s… not. Not usually,” you admitted with a smile you couldn’t quite suppress. “But with me… I guess he was.”
And on it went, question after question, as if they were making up for six months of missed gossip in a single sitting. It was messy, chaotic, borderline embarrassing, but it was also kind of nice. Being known. Being happy. Then came the final question.
JJ’s voice was quieter than the others, softer. “Do you love him too?”
You froze. For a moment, the whole room seemed to hold its breath. Even Garcia stopped typing. You looked at JJ, then down at your hands, then back up again. And nodded.
Garcia screeched, practically launching herself out of her chair. “I knew it!” she howled.
Emily beamed, her smile so wide it crinkled the corners of her eyes, and even Rossi let out a low chuckle, shaking his head like a proud uncle. You were a little overwhelmed, okay, maybe a lot, but underneath the chaos, you also felt a sheer amount of happiness that you've never felt before.
Hotch interrupted the moment by calling Garcia. “Unsub’s in custody. We’re on our way back. Everyone’s okay.”
Your breath left you in a rush. Spencer was okay. Your heart, though, it hadn’t quite gotten the message. It was still thundering in your chest, hammering against your ribs with every second that ticked by.
The others must’ve noticed the way you kept glancing at the door, because JJ finally nudged you gently toward it. “Go wait. We’ll clean up.”
You opened your mouth to protest, but Garcia waved a dismissive hand. “Honey, please. You’ve got heart-eyes so intense it’s blinding. Go stand dramatically in the doorway like you’re in a movie or something. We’ve got this.”And so you did.
You found yourself hovering in the doorway of the conference room, a half-hearted folder in your hands, pretending to sort through paperwork as you stared through the glass. Watching. Waiting.
Then you heard it, the sound of the SUV pulling up outside. Every head in the room snapped up like it was choreographed. Honestly, for a team of professional FBI agents, they acted like a bunch of high schoolers most of the time.
You glanced back over your shoulder. Sure enough, all of them were watching you, wide-eyed and waiting like you were the final act in a romantic drama. You rolled your eyes with a half-smile, dropped the stack of files onto the table and walked out of the conference room.
As you left, you heard Emily mutter, “Garcia, don’t follow her.”You didn’t wait to hear the response.
The moment you reached the main hallway of the precinct, the doors opened and there he was.
Spencer stepped inside, his curls slightly mussed, cheeks flushed from the cold, and as soon as his eyes found yours, he smiled. That gentle, crooked smile that always made you smile. You barely registered Derek behind him, hand gripping the cuffed unsub and throwing you a confused look when you didn’t even acknowledge him. Even Hotch glanced over in surprise as you made a beeline for Spencer.
“Hey—wait, what—?” Spencer managed, eyes widening as you grabbed his arm and all but dragged him down the corridor.
You shoved open the nearest empty office, tugged him inside, and closed the door firmly behind you, leaning back against it.
“Did you mean it?” you asked, your voice urgent, breath a little uneven.
Spencer blinked. “Mean what?”
You stared at him in stunned disbelief. “You’re kidding.”
“What?” he said again, completely baffled. “What did I do? Did Morgan tell you about what happened in the field? I know I wasn’t supposed to go near the unsub without backup, but I swear, I had it under control—”He started to ramble, hands gesturing as he pouted in that way he did when he was simultaneously nervous and a little too proud of himself. “He had a weapon, but I de-escalated him. You would’ve been proud.”
“You did what?” you interrupted, your mind now juggling two emotional crises.
Spencer blinked again. “Wait—so Morgan didn’t tell you?”
“No,” you muttered, your voice flat with disbelief. You shook your head slowly, trying to process it all. The nerves, the kiss, the I love you, and the fact that Spencer genuinely hadn’t realized what he’d done.
Spencer’s expression shifted from confusion to concern in a heartbeat. “Hey,” he said softly, stepping closer, his hand reaching up to tuck a strand of hair behind your ear. “Did I do something wrong?”
His voice was careful, gentle, and far too kind for how scrambled your brain felt. “Can you tell me what it is?” he added, tilting your chin up just enough so your eyes met his.
Your mouth opened slightly, but the words were stuck. How could he not know? How could he be looking at you like that, all wide eyes and soft brows and pouty lips, and not know?
“Spencer,” you said finally, his name sharp on your tongue.
“Yes?” he replied immediately, those puppy-dog eyes locking onto yours like he was bracing for impact.
“You kissed me.”
His brows pulled together. “I’m—I’m sorry?” he said, clearly confused.
If you weren’t so worked up, you might have laughed at his face. But your heart was hammering, and your nerves were tangled in knots.
“You did it in front of everyone,” you clarified. And then you said it , softly, barely above a whisper. “And then you said—”
“I love you.” His voice cut in before you could finish. You watched as the memory clearly snapped back into place. Realization washed over his face, followed immediately by a bright, burning blush that crept up his neck and across his cheeks.
“Mhmm,” you hummed, nodding slowly, your teeth sinking into your lower lip as you studied his reaction.
Spencer rubbed the back of his neck, eyes wide, flustered in a way that only made you want to kiss him senseless. “Oh,” he breathed, glancing away for a second before meeting your eyes again.
“Yeah… oh.” you repeated. Both of you stayed silent for a second.
“I did mean it,” he stammered out.
A smile tugged at your lips, finally. After an hour and a half of bouncing knees, chewed lips, the words you’d been dying to hear had finally landed.
“I love you,” Spencer repeated, a little firmer this time, like he needed to hear it aloud again to make it real. Like maybe saying it twice would help his brain catch up to his heart. The warmth that bloomed inside you was instant. You weren’t sure you’d ever felt this happy in your entire life.
Then, of course, Spencer kept talking.
“Did I say it too soon? I’m not sure. On average, men say it around three to three and a half months into a relationship, while women usually wait closer to four months,” he rambled, already blushing furiously, eyes darting anywhere but your face. “And I know we’ve been dating for six months, so technically it took me twice as long, which isn’t statistically ideal, but honestly I almost said it on our first date, which definitely wouldn’t have been optimal and—”
He was spiraling. Fast.
So you did the only thing that would shut him up. You stepped forward, gently grabbed his face in both hands, and said, soft but certain: “I love you too, Spencer.”
He stared. Just stared, like he was trying to memorize this exact moment, burn it into his brain with all its warmth and disbelief and wonder. You watched his expression shift, first stunned, then relieved, then something so bright and boyish it made your heart lurch. You’d never seen him so happy before.
Well, once. That first time you kissed him. He’d looked a little like this, dazed and blissed out. But now he looked like his whole world had just clicked into place.
“Yeah?” he breathed, voice shaky with excitement, his grin stretching so wide it practically crinkled his entire face.
“Yeah.” You laughed through the word, nodding, the emotion bubbling up in your chest and spilling into every part of you. Your smile was a mirror of his.
Spencer let out a breathy laugh and pulled you into him, arms wrapping tightly around your waist as if he couldn’t stand the idea of space between you anymore. You buried your face into the crook of his neck, grinning against his skin.
“This is real, right?” he asked into your hair, voice muffled. “I’m not dreaming? Because sometimes I do dream about you saying that and then I wake up and it’s just—”
You cut him off with a kiss to the warm skin of his throat.“It’s definitely real,” you mumbled against him.
Spencer let out a shaky breath and held you tighter. You stayed like that, wrapped up in each other, both of you grinning like idiots. It felt absurdly, wonderfully perfect. Then you muttered into his neck, “You do know you outed our relationship to everyone, right?”
Spencer’s arms stiffened around you just slightly. “Yeah. Totally. I knew that. I did it on purpose,” he lied, too quickly, voice pitched a little too high.
You giggled and pulled back, hands still resting on either side of his neck. “You’re a terrible liar, Dr. Reid.”
He didn’t even bother to defend himself, just gave you an adorable, crooked grin and leaned in to peck your lips. “Yeah, I am,” he mumbled, brushing his nose against yours.
You kissed him back, just once, then poked a finger into the center of his chest. “Also, we’re going to talk about your little superhero stunt at home.”
Spencer blinked. “Right,” he echoed, suddenly very aware of his earlier reckless attempt to talk the unsub down without backup. “Are you mad?”
“I’m not not mad,” you replied, giving him a look. “But I love you, so I’m saving the full lecture for later.”
He winced slightly, then smiled. “Fair.”
You let your fingers drift through the curls on his forehead, brushing them back gently. “Well,” you sighed, “for now, we have to go out there… into the land of chaos and gossip.”
Realization dawned slowly on Spencer’s face. His eyes widened. “Oh no. Garcia definitely filled Morgan in already.”
“And Rossi’s probably already told Hotch,” you added grimly.
“And JJ and Emily—”
“—were there when it happened,” you finished.
You both stood there in mutual silence for a moment, dread creeping in. Spencer cleared his throat. “Maybe we could… go out the window?”
You laughed, smacking his chest lightly. “Nice try, genius.”
He gave a helpless little shrug. “I had to try.”
Taking a deep breath, you grabbed the handle of the door behind you. “Ready?” you asked.
“Absolutely not,” Spencer said without hesitation.
You squeezed his hand anyway. “Come on, lover boy.”
To say that the conference room was chaos would’ve been an understatement.Garcia let out a sound that could only be described as a squeal-gasp hybrid, immediately launching into a breathless barrage of questions that involved timelines and pet names. Morgan clapped Spencer on the back so hard he nearly stumbled, muttering something about “my boy finally growing up.” JJ just smirked from the corner, quietly sipping her coffee.Hotch had walked by at one point, muttered something that suspiciously sounded like “About time,” and kept moving without missing a beat.
The jet ride was somehow worse.
You’d sat next to Spencer, hoping for a quiet, post-case decompression. Instead, you were subjected to Garcia and Morgan playing twenty questions from across the aisle. Rossi, pretending to read, chuckled behind his wine glass the entire time. At one point, you tried to rest your head on Spencer’s shoulder, and he’d blushed so hard you thought he might combust.
You weren’t sure if he was embarrassed from the attention or just overwhelmed from finally saying what he’d been keeping in for months. Probably both.
But the days that followed? Even worse.
Because the teasing never stopped. Emily sent you heart emojis during briefings. Morgan kept calling Spencer lover boy, which you regretted giving him the vocabulary for. Garcia had created a mood board on her computer and refused to delete it. Even Hotch raised an eyebrow when you asked to share a rental car with Spencer.
But through it all, Spencer stayed by your side. Every awkward joke, every embarrassing comment, every not-so-subtle glance,he never flinched. If anything, he leaned into it. He held your hand in the bullpen and he kissed your cheek at the end of the day. It was domestic chaos.
Romantic disaster. Beautiful, awkward, completely perfect hell.

Engaged-ish
Lando Norris x Grand Duchess!Reader
Summary: in which an obscure Luxembourgish tradition leads to a proposal … sort of
Tumblr media
The paddock buzzes like a beehive, sun-drenched and shimmering with the scent of gasoline, sunscreen, and expensive cologne. Cameras flash. People talk in clipped, purposeful voices. Somewhere, an engine snarls awake.
And then — chaos.
Well, not chaos exactly. More like a whoosh, followed by a yelp.
“Oi! Shit! Watch out!”
A blur of black and orange comes flying down the narrow stretch between team garages. Lando Norris, crouched low on a scooter like a gremlin on wheels, is laughing before he slams into something soft and solid.
There’s a crunch of expensive heels.
A thud.
A gasp.
And then-
“Oh my God. Ohmygodohmygod.” Lando’s already halfway off the scooter, scrambling to his feet with hands out like he can rewind time by sheer panic. “Are you — are you okay? I didn’t — I mean, it’s not like, that fast, right? It’s — okay, yeah, no, you’re very much on the ground, cool cool cool-”
You’re lying there, halfway on your side, propped up by one elbow, blinking. Your oversized sunglasses are askew. One of your heels has flown halfway under a stack of Pirellis.
And the guy looming above you is grinning like he’s not sure if he should laugh or throw himself into the Mediterranean out of shame.
"Hi," he says. "Sorry for, uh. Running you over."
You tilt your head, still stunned. “Are you seriously racing a scooter through the paddock?”
“It’s not racing if no one’s timing it,” Lando says brightly, offering you a hand. “… But yes. And that was reckless. And stupid. And really fun. But mostly stupid.”
You stare at his hand. His cap’s pushed up on his head, curly hair spilling out in sweaty tangles. His eyes are impossibly bright. He looks like he just crash-landed from a cartoon.
You take his hand.
He pulls you up with an exaggerated grunt. “Wow. Okay. You’re stronger than you look.”
“You’re more of a menace than you look.”
He grins. "Thank you. Wait, was that a compliment?"
“Not even remotely.”
You dust yourself off, lifting your sunglasses onto your head. Lando watches, then lets out a short laugh.
“Oh no.”
“What?”
“You’re — yeah, wow, okay. You’re very pretty. Like, really pretty. You’re probably important, huh?”
You narrow your eyes.
“Are you asking if I’m important because I’m pretty?”
“No! No no no,” he says, horrified. “God, no. I mean — you look like the kind of person who has a security detail and a Wikipedia page. Which is not the only reason you’re important. It’s just … I feel like I’m gonna get sued.”
You smirk. “You might.”
He’s staring at you like you just told him he ran over Taylor Swift.
“Okay. What’s your name? I’ll write you a very panicked apology letter. Maybe flowers? Wait, do you even like flowers? Maybe chocolate. Wait — nut allergy?”
You blink. “Are you always like this?”
He considers that. “Yeah. But sometimes I tone it down for the elderly or if I’m at a funeral.”
You should be irritated. You’re not. Somehow, all this flailing panic is … disarming. He’s like a golden retriever who just knocked over a vase and is now waiting to see if you’ll still pet him.
“I’m Y/N,” you say finally.
“Y/N,” he repeats. “That’s a lovely name.”
“And you are Lando Norris.”
He pauses. “… So you do know who I am. That feels unfair.”
“You ran me over.”
“Right. Nevermind.”
You retrieve your shoe from under the tires with a little sigh. He watches you with a sort of guilty awe. Like he can’t quite believe he survived the collision.
Then, after a beat, “You here for the race?”
You arch a brow. “What gave it away?”
“Could be the Monaco sun,” he says, walking backward beside you now. “But also the outfit. You look too … elegant to be someone’s PR handler. You’re not a driver’s girlfriend either, or I’d have seen you on Insta by now.”
You snort. “What a deduction.”
“I know, right? Sherlock Norris. So … what do you do?”
You stop walking. He stops too. Tilts his head.
You smile. “I would tell you …”
“Oh, you would?” He says, eyebrows bouncing.
“-but I think I want to see if you can guess my job correctly.”
He grins. “Love a challenge.”
You lean in slightly, like you’re sharing a secret. “You only get one guess.”
“Only one?”
“One.”
“Okay, okay. No pressure.” He pinches the bridge of his nose like it’ll help summon divine clarity. “Let’s see. You’re well-dressed, clearly clever, somehow not screaming at me despite the vehicular assault … so you’re either incredibly powerful or completely unbothered by earthly consequences.”
“Very astute.”
He squints. “You’re … a fashion CEO.”
You blink. “That’s your guess?”
He nods, proud. “Big time. Like, quietly running a billion-euro empire from a Parisian penthouse. You look like you boss people around in three languages.”
You purse your lips. “Close.”
“Seriously?”
“No. Not even remotely.”
He looks personally offended. “Okay, then who are you?”
You just start walking again.
“Oh, come on! That’s mean,” he whines, trailing after you. “I guessed. You said I get to know!”
“No,” you say over your shoulder. “I said I want to hear if you can guess it. You didn’t.”
“Unbelievable,” he mutters. “Is this what heartbreak feels like? Are you — are you a spy? A secret agent? Do you know Daniel Craig? Please tell me you’re MI6.”
You’re laughing now, which only makes him more dramatic.
“Oh, you’re loving this,” he accuses. “You’re totally enjoying watching me flail.”
“You flail very naturally.”
“Thank you — wait, no. That’s not a compliment.”
“Isn’t it?”
He squints suspiciously. “You’ve got the same energy as my trainer when he says I’m doing a good job but makes the workouts harder.”
“I’ll take that as a compliment.”
“Okay, mysterious beautiful stranger who may or may not be royalty-”
You freeze for a split second.
He catches it.
“Oh my God,” he says slowly. “Wait. Wait. Are you actually — wait. Like, real royalty? Is that — no. That’s not a thing. That’s a thing in Netflix movies.”
You raise a brow.
“Oh shit,” he whispers.
You don’t confirm. Don’t deny.
He stares at you like you just turned into a unicorn. “I ran over a princess.”
You tilt your head. “Technically, Grand Duchess. Hereditary Grand Duchess, if we’re being precise.”
He’s silent.
For about three whole seconds.
Then, “I’m going to jail.”
You burst out laughing.
“No, seriously,” he says, mouth falling open. “That’s like treason? Assault on a noble? Is that a law? Is there a dungeon? Oh my god-”
You reach for his sleeve, tug it gently. “Relax. You’re not going to prison.”
“But I could be,” he says, stunned. “You’re actual royalty. I think I saw you once, like a year ago! You were on the cover of Vogue or something-”
You glance sideways. “So you have seen me before.”
“I thought you looked familiar! But I just assumed I’d dreamed you.”
You roll your eyes.
He stares at you for another second, then breaks into a wide, sheepish grin. “This is insane.”
“You’re telling me.”
He scratches the back of his neck. “So … you coming to the motorhome, Your Highness?”
You pretend to consider it. “Only if you stop calling me that.”
“Deal,” he says immediately. “But I’m still going to make you guess what my job is, just to even the playing field.”
You glance at his McLaren shirt. “You sell scooters.”
He gasps. “Correct. Wow. Nailed it in one.”
You both laugh.
***
The McLaren motorhome hums with life, all sharp lines and bright orange accents, but it feels like a bubble. A refuge tucked between the chaos of the paddock and the roaring engines beyond. You follow Lando inside, still unsure how you got here — still vaguely amused that he hasn’t stopped talking since the crash.
“You know, I don’t normally just run over people,” he says, leading you past a security guy who gives you both a baffled look. “You’re actually my first. Well. That I know of. I might’ve clipped a Ferrari engineer once, but he was dramatic about it and threw a clipboard.”
You smile, trailing after him. “Is this your version of flirting?”
“Oh no, no, this is panic,” he says quickly. “My flirting is marginally smoother.”
“Marginally.”
“On a good day.”
The motorhome is bustling. Engineers tap away on laptops. There’s a spread of snacks someone’s half-raided. You notice a few people double-taking as they see you walk in, but no one says anything. It’s like they’re used to Lando bringing in strays.
“Do they always stare like that?” You ask under your breath.
He glances around. “What, that? Nah. That’s just them wondering if you’re a Netflix producer, or my cousin, or a very lost model.”
You roll your eyes. “You’re so annoyingly casual about this.”
“It’s my greatest skill,” he says proudly, then spins around suddenly. “Wait … here.”
He pulls off his McLaren cap and steps forward, holding it out to you. “Sun’s brutal today. You’ll need this if you’re hanging out here.”
You blink at the hat in his hand. “You’re giving me your hat?”
“Lending it,” he corrects, but he’s already stepping closer.
And then — without really thinking — he lifts it over your head and places it gently on top of your hair, adjusting it with exaggerated care.
“There,” he says, grinning. “Now you look fast.”
You snort. “That doesn’t even make sense.”
“Doesn’t have to,” he says. “You feel fast.”
You adjust the cap slightly, not thinking much of it. It’s warm from his head. Smells faintly like his shampoo and sun.
And somewhere across the paddock, at least four camera lenses catch it. The exact moment Lando Norris — a nonchalant, grinning mess of curls and chaotic charm — places his own hat gently on your head with all the care of someone proposing a life together.
Of course, neither of you notices.
“You look good in papaya,” he says, stuffing his hands in his pockets.
You raise an eyebrow. “You just like seeing people wear your merch.”
“True,” he admits. “It’s excellent branding.”
There’s a pause, and then you both start laughing at the same time. Loud and open, like it’s the most natural thing in the world.
Somewhere in the background, a McLaren comms staffer walks by, glancing between the two of you and immediately pulling out her phone.
“Right,” Lando says, flopping onto the couch and patting the space next to him. “Come on. Sit. Tell me everything.”
You lower yourself carefully onto the cushion, still unsure how your diplomatic morning turned into … whatever this is. “Everything?”
“Everything. Like what’s your actual day-to-day like? Are you doing royal things all the time? Are there, like, scrolls? Do you own a sceptre?”
“No scrolls,” you say. “And sadly, no sceptre. But I’m working on it.”
He nods solemnly. “You deserve a sceptre.”
“Thank you.”
“But seriously. Do you have meetings with … I don’t know, other royals? Do you sit in a big room and talk about treaties and wear sashes?”
You laugh. “Sometimes. Though most of my meetings are just government-adjacent. I do a lot of international work. Cultural diplomacy. Economic initiatives. Tourism stuff.”
“So … not just tea parties and ribbon cutting?”
“Shockingly, no.”
He whistles. “That actually sounds important.”
“It is.”
“And exhausting.”
You tilt your head. “It can be. There’s pressure. Constantly being watched. Expectations. Every gesture means something.”
He raises a brow. “Even hats?”
You don’t even flinch.
But internally, you do hesitate. The old Luxembourgish tradition flashes through your mind — one your grandmother once explained with a warm smile and a twinkle in her eye.
“If a man offers you something of his, something worn, something marked by him — especially a hat — and places it on your head, it means he offers you protection. Partnership. In the old days, it was a proposal before a proposal.”
You remember laughing at the time. It was quaint. Archaic. Romantic, in a way that felt more myth than law.
You doubt Lando Norris is aware of any of that.
You watch him now — grinning at a text, tossing his phone aside, still slouched like he owns the whole motorhome — and decide not to mention it.
“It’s just a hat,” you say lightly.
He nods. “Right? Totally normal. Generous, even.”
“Deeply generous,” you echo, smiling.
You both fall quiet for a moment. It’s not awkward. It’s … easy.
Then he turns to you again.
“So do you get bored of it?” He asks.
You blink. “Of what?”
“Being important. Being watched. Being … not normal.”
That one hits.
You lean back, letting your gaze drift to the window. “Sometimes. It’s hard to know if people are being real with me. If they want something, or if they’re just pretending they don’t know who I am. Or worse, pretending they do.”
He nods, slower now. “Yeah. I get that. A bit.”
You glance over at him.
“Okay, not the royal part,” he adds. “But … being public. Being expected to be on all the time. It’s weird, right? Like, people think they know you. Like they’ve already decided who you are before you say anything.”
You watch his face as he says it. There’s a moment of real honesty there, flickering between his words.
And you realize he’s not as clueless as he seems.
“I like this,” you say softly.
He looks up. “This?”
“This. Just talking. Not performing.”
He smiles, slower this time. “Me too.”
Someone calls his name from across the motorhome, but he doesn’t look away.
You pick up a packet of cookies from the coffee table, toss it into his lap. “Tell me more about crashing into other people. I want to know how many lawsuits you’re juggling.”
He laughs. “Okay, so once in Silverstone, I clipped George Russell with a golf cart. He insists I did it on purpose, but I maintain it was sabotage from Mercedes.”
You lean in, smiling. “Tell me everything.”
And so he does.
He talks with his hands, dramatic and unfiltered. He tells stories that make you laugh until you’re clutching your stomach. He impersonates Daniel Ricciardo. He makes fun of himself, of the team, of the absurdity of fame. You don’t realize how much time has passed until the room starts to empty.
You glance at the clock and blink. “It’s been two hours.”
“No way.”
You both look around. People are filtering out. The buzz of the paddock is louder now, the day slipping past you like sand through your fingers.
You reach up to adjust the hat again, and Lando watches, biting back a smile.
“You’re really keeping that, huh?”
You shrug. “Finders keepers.”
“I knew it,” he says. “You just came here for the merch.”
“I’m royalty,” you reply. “I came here for the drama and the free stuff.”
He clutches his heart. “A woman after my own heart.”
You hear a few more shutter clicks outside — photographers catching shots through the motorhome windows, lenses like little eyes peering in. Lando doesn’t seem to notice. Or maybe he’s used to it.
You should care more. Maybe you do, somewhere deep down.
But right now? In this moment?
You don’t.
You’re wearing his hat, and he’s laughing like he’s never had more fun in his life. And you’re just … two people on a couch, pretending the world outside doesn’t exist.
Later, you’ll both hear about the photos. About the symbolism. The headlines in Luxembourgish tabloids translating your laughter into lovers’ whispers, the cap into a silent vow.
But for now, you just look at him and smile.
And he smiles back.
***
It starts early.
Too early for a Sunday race day.
Lando is still half-asleep, blinking against the pale Monte Carlo morning light slicing through the curtains, when his phone explodes.
First it’s the buzz. Then the buzzbuzzbuzz. Then the ping, ping, ping of messages stacking up like a digital avalanche.
He groans, rolls over, tries to bury himself under the pillow. No use. Whatever this is, it’s not going away.
And then-
Cabrón. WHAT have you done?
Carlos is the first one in the group chat. With a screenshot.
Lando squints blearily at it. All caps. Tabloid headline.
A blurry photo from yesterday.
It’s you. Wearing his McLaren cap. Laughing. The moment he placed it on your head captured in too-crisp detail.
And the headline-
HEREDITARY GRAND DUCHESS OF LUXEMBOURG ENGAGED TO FORMULA 1 STAR LANDO NORRIS IN SECRET MONACO CEREMONY?
He blinks again.
“…What the fu-”
Another buzz.
ZAK BROWN: Call me. Now.
ANDREA STELLA: This is not funny. We are in Monaco. Please, for once, use your head.
GEORGE: Lando. Mate. Explain the royal engagement.
MUM: We need to talk ❤️
He stares at the screen like it might bite him.
The Grand Duchess part doesn’t even register at first. He scrolls through more links, more headlines, all variations of the same fever dream.
Symbolic proposal shocks royal observers in Monaco GP paddock.
Royal family confirms no comment
McLaren’s Lando Norris in relationship with Luxembourg’s future monarch?
He mutters, “What the — what is happening?”
Carlos sends another message.
CARLOS: This is the best thing that’s ever happened. Can I be your maid of honor?
CARLOS: Wait. Groomsman. Unless you're planning to wear the dress, then honestly I support it.
Lando doesn’t even have the energy to reply.
He swings out of bed, throws on a hoodie, and starts pacing. The cap. The hat. Was it really that big of a deal?
He offered it because she looked a little sun-blind. He thought it’d be cute. A gesture. Flirty. A laugh.
Not an international incident.
There’s a knock on his apartment door.
He opens it.
Zak stands there with the energy of someone who’s been yelling into a phone for two hours straight. Andrea is behind him, looking like he aged ten years overnight.
“You’re trending,” Zak says without preamble. “Not for winning. Not for pole. Not even for crashing. You’re trending because apparently you’re about to marry into a monarchy.”
“I didn’t — what — no,” Lando says, holding his hands up. “I gave her a hat!”
“An engagement hat!” Carlos shouts from inside the apartment, because of course Carlos has let himself in somehow. “The most sacred of all hats!”
Lando glares. “You’re not helping.”
Andrea pinches the bridge of his nose. “Do you understand the implications of this, Lando?”
“No! Because it’s insane!”
Zak exhales. “There are diplomatic rumors flying. Press camped outside the motorhome. Questions coming in from Luxembourg’s government channels.”
Lando looks helpless. “But I didn’t do anything.”
Carlos, now lying fully horizontal on Lando’s bed, grins. “You proposed. With headwear.”
“I hate all of you.”
Carlos lifts a hand. “It’s what we do.”
***
By the time Lando makes it to the paddock, he’s wearing sunglasses and a hoodie pulled up like a man on the run.
He gets stopped four times before reaching the McLaren motorhome.
One PR officer actually bows at him, just to be a menace.
Oscar gives him a slow, impressed once-over and just says, “Your Royal Highness,” with a mocking nod before walking away.
He’s never living this down.
The only thing he wants is to find you.
And, as if summoned by the strength of pure panic, there you are. Standing just outside the McLaren garage, mid-conversation with someone from Alpine, sipping from a bottle of water like you own the place. Your hair is tucked into a sleek ponytail. The sun makes your earrings glint.
Lando jogs up to you, breathless.
“Hey! Hey, hi, um, hi.”
You turn, startled. “Good morning.”
“Not really,” he says, lifting his glasses. “What the hell is going on?”
You blink. “What do you mean?”
“The cap. The hat. The one I put on your head yesterday? Apparently that means I proposed to you. The tabloids are going crazy. Everyone thinks we’re engaged. My mum texted me.”
Your eyebrows lift. “Wait, seriously?”
He pulls out his phone, flicks through the headlines, and shoves it toward you.
You squint at one. “‘Royal Love Blooms on the Grid?’” You snort. “‘Luxembourg’s Heartthrob Duchess Swept Off Her Feet by McLaren Maverick?’”
Lando’s voice pitches up. “Swept off her feet! I literally ran into you with a scooter!”
You start laughing. Not a polite laugh. A full-body, unbothered laugh. Like this is all the most normal thing in the world.
He stares. “Why are you laughing?”
You wipe a tear from under your eye. “Because this is nothing. You should’ve seen the time they said I was secretly dating a Swiss banker who turned out to be my second cousin.”
He pauses. “… What?”
“Or the time they decided I’d renounced the throne to become a goat farmer in Liechtenstein.”
He blinks. “Okay, that one’s kind of iconic.”
You give him a shrug. “This is what happens when you’re born into a monarchy and dare to show emotions in public.”
He stares at you. “You’re telling me you’re fine with this?”
“I think it’s hilarious.”
“Hilarious? They called me your future consort.”
“Are you not?” You ask innocently, sipping your water.
He splutters. “What-”
You grin. “I’m kidding.”
You’re very not kidding. Not in the way that matters.
Because watching him panic like this — watching him trail after you with his hoodie strings bouncing and his voice pitching up with every breath — it’s … oddly sweet.
He cares. Not just about the press. About you. About how this reflects on you. That matters.
You reach over and tug gently at his hood to straighten it. “Relax. The headlines will change by tomorrow.”
“You really think that?”
“No,” you admit. “But that’s what I tell myself when I’m spiraling.”
He laughs despite himself. “You’re way too chill about this.”
“I’ve had practice.”
“You’re literally a royal and you’re less stressed than me.”
“That’s because I’ve had years of training in pretending I’m not screaming inside.”
Lando looks at you. Really looks at you.
There’s this flicker of something in his chest. Admiration. Confusion. Something just slightly more than fondness.
He exhales. “You’re ridiculous.”
“So are you.”
“I didn’t mean to propose to you.”
“Shame,” you say casually, and walk away before he can respond.
He stands there, stunned, as Carlos passes behind him, humming “Here Comes the Bride.”
***
Back in the McLaren motorhome, the chaos continues.
The PR team is in damage control mode. Zak is pacing with a headset. Andrea has three newspapers folded under his arm and an expression that could melt titanium.
But Lando?
Lando is leaning on the windowsill, watching you from across the way as you chat with someone from Mercedes.
Still wearing his cap. Still laughing like you haven’t just caused a minor diplomatic crisis.
And for some reason … he’s not mad.
He just grins, taps the glass once, and mutters, “Yeah, this is totally fine.”
Absolutely fine.
Nothing is on fire. Nothing at all.
***
You know something’s wrong when Martine shows up.
Martine only shows up when things are very wrong. Like, international-incident-meets-centuries-old-protocol wrong. She’s your primary handler, which is a polite way of saying she’s the one who stops you from accidentally tanking Luxembourg’s economy with a bad outfit choice.
You spot her across the paddock: sharp black blazer, sunglasses that mean business, marching toward the McLaren motorhome with the speed and grace of a small, determined missile.
“Oh, no,” you mutter.
Lando, sitting on a folding chair next to you with his helmet in his lap, glances up. “What?”
You nod in Martine’s direction. “That.”
He follows your gaze and immediately winces. “Oh no.”
“She’s here to kill me.”
“She’s probably here to kill me,” he says, standing up like a man preparing to face execution.
Martine stops two feet away, does not greet you. Does not smile. Just removes her sunglasses and levels the two of you with the look she usually reserves for scandalous budget overspending or cousins dating minor celebrities.
She speaks in a voice so tight it might shatter glass. “Well, I hope you’re both having fun.”
You open your mouth to respond, but she holds up a hand. “No. Stop. Don’t speak yet. We’re in crisis mode.”
“Isn’t that a little dramatic?” Lando offers, with a hopeful grin.
Martine turns to him so slowly it’s almost operatic. “Mister Norris, the Luxembourgish Parliament has just issued a formal declaration of congratulations on your engagement. Your faces are on the front page of every major paper from here to Berlin. People Magazine referred to you as the ‘millennial fairytale.’ And — just to really put a cherry on top — your Instagram post from two days ago has now been recirculated as a ‘subtle announcement.’”
Lando swallows. “That post was about McNuggets.”
“Yes,” Martine says. “And you hashtagged it #lovemylife. So now the press thinks the nuggets were metaphorical.”
You press a hand to your face. “Okay. That one’s kind of on you.”
Martine whirls on you next. “Do you understand the implications of this? Because this is not just a PR disaster. This is a constitutional event. We cannot simply say it was a misunderstanding.”
“Why not?” Lando asks, hands outstretched. “Can’t we just say it was, like, a joke? A mix-up? A funny cultural thing?”
Martine takes a deep breath, as if preparing to deliver a death sentence.
“Because,” she says carefully, “in Luxembourgish law, once a declaration has been acknowledged by Parliament and received no formal objection from the heir apparent within the hour, it becomes a matter of record.”
Lando stares. “What does that mean?”
You sigh. “It means … it’s official. As far as the government’s concerned, we’re engaged.”
There’s a beat of stunned silence. And then Lando says, very quietly, “Oh, my god.”
Martine nods grimly. “Oh, your god, indeed.”
“I didn’t even do anything!” He protests. “I gave her a hat!”
Martine’s eyes narrow. “Which, in Luxembourg, is equivalent to a pre-marital vow of intent.”
“That’s ridiculous!”
“It’s ancient tradition!”
Lando throws his hands in the air. “Well maybe someone should’ve written a pamphlet! ‘Hey, welcome to Luxembourg, don’t give royal women hats!’”
“I should have known,” you say, mostly to yourself. “I knew the hat was going to be a problem.”
Martine exhales and pinches the bridge of her nose. “There is a press conference in two hours. The Grand Duke has already spoken to French media.”
You freeze. “Wait. My father knows?”
Martine shoots you a look. “Knows? He’s celebrating.”
“Celebrating what?”
“His exact words,” she says, pulling out her phone and reading from a very official-sounding email, “‘I have always dreamed of a son-in-law who drives fast and talks nonsense. This is perfect.’”
Lando, completely bewildered, points at himself. “Is that a compliment?”
You look at him. “Honestly? I think it is.”
Martine puts the phone away. “You both need to keep this under control. Just for a few days. Until the press dies down.”
Lando’s face scrunches. “Wait. Waitwaitwait. Are you saying we have to pretend to be engaged?”
Martine nods once. “Exactly.”
“Temporarily?” You ask.
“For now,” she says. “But you will both need to act engaged. Convincingly. That means appearances. Smiles. Coordination. Possibly an interview.”
Lando looks like he’s going to be sick. “Interview?!”
“Oh, you’re absolutely doing the interview,” Martine says.
You blink slowly. “So … just to clarify. Our options are either to lie to the international press and pretend to be planning a royal wedding or risk sparking a diplomatic conflict between my country and the rest of the European Union?”
Martine smiles grimly. “Correct.”
Lando leans against the nearest wall. “This is a nightmare.”
You nudge him with your elbow. “Could be worse.”
“How?”
You grin. “You could’ve actually proposed.”
He groans. “I’m never giving anyone a hat ever again.”
***
The rest of the morning is a blur.
Your phone doesn’t stop buzzing. Everyone from Monaco’s royal family to your mother’s childhood piano teacher is reaching out.
Lando’s friends have renamed their group chat “THE ROYAL CONSORTS.”
Carlos sends a meme of Meghan Markle waving from a balcony, photoshopped with Lando’s face. Lando throws his phone across the room.
Everywhere you walk in the paddock, people are staring, whispering, smiling in that way that means they think they know.
Lando sticks to your side like a man attached by invisible glue.
“This is surreal,” he mutters, not for the first time. “You’re just … fine with this?”
You glance at him. “I’ve been fake-smiling through political dinners since I was ten. This is honestly one of the less stressful things I’ve had to fake.”
He eyes you. “That’s kind of impressive.”
You shrug. “I mean, don’t get me wrong. It’s insane. But it’s also temporary. We do a few appearances, wear some coordinated outfits, and smile for the cameras.”
He groans. “Do I have to wear a sash?”
“Only if you want bonus points.”
He considers. “Does it come in papaya?”
You grin. “Now you’re thinking like a royal.”
He glances sideways at you. “You really think we can pull this off?”
“I think,” you say slowly, “we have no choice. But yeah. We can do it.”
There’s something unspoken between you in that moment. Some flicker of understanding. And maybe a spark of something else.
***
By the time you arrive at the media scrum, the photographers are already in position. Flashes pop. Lenses aim.
You loop your arm through Lando’s, and he looks down like you’ve just handed him a live grenade.
“What do I do?” He mutters.
“Smile,” you whisper back. “And look like you’re wildly in love.”
He takes a breath, then smiles so wide it almost hurts to look at. A little crooked. A little chaotic.
It’s perfect.
He leans toward you. “Like this?”
You nod. “Exactly like that.”
The cameras love it. Shutters go wild. A symphony of clicks.
Someone shouts, “Any wedding date yet?”
Lando opens his mouth to panic.
You answer smoothly, “We’re just enjoying the moment.”
“Have you met each other’s families?”
Lando again looks like he might choke. You reply, “They’re … very supportive.”
“How did the proposal happen?”
Lando starts to laugh, helplessly.
You answer, “It was spontaneous.”
And that’s how the day goes.
Flash after flash. Smile after smile.
And through it all, Lando — your accidental fiancé, your completely overwhelmed co-conspirator — stays right beside you, fingers brushing yours, as if anchoring himself to reality.
You don’t know what’s coming next.
You don’t know how long you’ll have to keep this up.
But when Lando looks at you with that half-panicked, half-awed grin — like he still can’t believe this is happening — you just smile back.
Because somehow, against all odds this royal disaster? Feels a lot like fate.
***
The Grand Prix is over, the champagne has dried, and the press has moved on to whatever other scandal is brewing in the glittering circus of Monaco. And yet … you stay.
You’re supposed to leave, technically. There’s a return flight booked under your name, a motorcade on standby, and a color-coded itinerary that includes words like “debrief” and “post-engagement optics strategy.” But instead of heading back to Luxembourg, you text Martine something vague about needing to monitor the situation on the ground.
She doesn’t push. She never pushes when you use diplomatic language like that.
And so, you stay — in the sunshine, in the noise, in the afterglow of whatever chaos you and Lando have created.
And Lando? Well. Lando leans in. Hard.
It starts with a bouquet. You think it’s from some Monegasque diplomat until you read the note.
For my one true duchess. Long may she reign.
- Your Devoted Fiancé™
You roll your eyes so hard it almost hurts.
The next morning, there’s a box of chocolates left on the doorstep of your borrowed suite. Heart-shaped.
The note reads: May these sweets bring you half the joy your smile brings me.
- His Royal Himbo-ness
Then come the messages.
LANDO: Milady, I beseech thee … may I take thee to breakfast?
YOU: Only if thou bringest me hashbrowns.
LANDO: I would brave dragons and tyre degradation for thee.
YOU: Good, because I just saw you stall your scooter outside my hotel.
It’s ridiculous. It’s also … weirdly fun.
You keep telling yourself it’s fake, that it has to be fake. A temporary performance to appease international dignitaries and excitable royal fathers with a love for motorsport.
But then one afternoon, you find Lando outside your hotel with a paper crown from Burger King and a daisy between his teeth.
He bows. “Milady. Thy noble steed awaiteth.”
You snort. “You’re riding an electric scooter.”
“And she runneth on pure love.”
He offers his hand, like you’re a princess in a storybook.
You take it.
***
It’s only when you’re not performing — when the flowers are left without a camera flash or you’re laughing in a hallway while ducking behind a vending machine — that Lando starts to notice it.
The quiet moments.
The way your smile sometimes fades the second people look away. The way you’re constantly being trailed by someone in a blazer holding a tablet. The way your phone buzzes and you flinch like it might explode.
It hits him hardest at the hotel bar.
You’re sitting across from him in some ridiculous formal dress, sipping water like it’s wine because the event is too long and you’re too tired, and someone behind you says, “She doesn’t even look that royal.”
You hear it. He knows you hear it. But you don’t flinch. You just smile, poised and polite, and excuse yourself a moment later. You come back three minutes later, smile reset, posture perfect.
He watches the entire transformation with his stomach twisting into a knot.
“You alright?” He asks gently, when the crowds have thinned.
You glance over. “Of course.”
And he doesn’t push. But something in his chest tugs.
***
The idea comes to him in a flash.
“Hey,” he says the next night, casually leaning against the doorframe of your hotel suite. “Wanna ditch this disaster and do something stupid?”
You arch a brow. “Define stupid.”
“Burgers. Reality TV. My place.”
You blink.
“No press, no handlers. Just us. A comfy couch and some bad choices.”
You narrow your eyes. “What’s the catch?”
“No catch,” he says. “I just thought maybe … you might want to feel normal for a bit.”
You don’t answer right away.
Because it’s absurd. It’s reckless. You have a state dinner in forty-five minutes and there are actual diplomats waiting downstairs to make small talk about Luxembourg’s agricultural exports.
But then you look at him — hopeful, earnest, wearing a hoodie that says “QDRNT” and socks that do not match — and you think screw it.
You shut the door behind you.
“Let’s go.”
***
He smuggles you out the back through the hotel kitchens.
“You’ve done this before,” you note, as he expertly navigates a series of corridors.
“Absolutely,” he says. “I once snuck out past curfew during a sponsor dinner to get tacos with Max.”
“And how’d that end?”
“In a minor fire.”
You blink. “Wait, what?”
He just grins.
Ten minutes later, you’re sitting in his apartment — barefoot, legs tucked under yourself on the couch, a paper bag of burgers between you.
“You know,” you say, unwrapping one of them, “if this gets leaked to the press, they’re going to think you’re a bad influence.”
He takes a dramatic bite. “Milady, wouldst thou accept this humble offering of ketchup and meat?”
You snort, almost choking on your fries. “You’re insufferable.”
“And yet you remain seated.”
You roll your eyes but don’t argue.
He clicks on the TV and scrolls to a show that looks suspiciously like Love Island, then leans back and stretches his arms behind his head like it’s the most relaxing evening of his life.
“Do you do this a lot?” You ask.
“What, seduce royalty over fast food?”
“No,” you laugh. “Just … be this normal.”
He shrugs. “Normal’s relative, innit? I mean, yeah. When I can. When people let me.”
You nod slowly. “Must be nice.”
He turns to look at you. “You really don’t get much of that, huh?”
You take a sip of soda. “Not unless it’s scripted. Or has a purpose. Even this … it’s not real.”
He shifts on the couch, voice quieter. “It feels real.”
You glance over at him, something flickering behind your eyes. “It does, doesn’t it?”
There’s a long beat. The show drones in the background — someone screaming about being “mugged off” and crying in a hot tub.
And then he says, softly, “Can I ask you something?”
You nod.
“What would you be doing right now if you weren’t, y’know, you? The royal stuff, I mean.”
You pause.
“Sleeping,” you say finally. “Without a schedule. Without worrying if my resting face looks too detached in photographs.”
He smiles, a little sadly. “You’re good at it. The pretending.”
“Too good,” you murmur. “It’s like muscle memory.”
He nods, thoughtful.
Then, in a whisper like a secret:, “I wish I could give you more of this.”
You turn to him fully. “More burgers?”
“More normal,” he says. “More space to just … be. Laugh. Eat crap food and wear ugly pajamas and not have to explain yourself to anyone.”
Something in your chest squeezes.
You don’t say anything.
Instead, you lean over, take a fry from his tray, and say, “You talk too much.”
“Sorry,” he says quickly. “Didn’t mean to-”
“I like it,” you interrupt.
He blinks.
You nod toward the screen. “Shut up and watch trash TV with me.”
“Yes, Your Highness.”
He salutes. You hit him with a pillow.
He yelps, dramatically falling sideways onto the couch like you’ve slain him. “Oh no! The duchess has betrayed me!”
You’re laughing now, full-bodied and unfiltered, and Lando watches you like he’s discovered something sacred.
And in that ridiculously expensive Monaco apartment — over lukewarm burgers and cheap television — something real clicks into place.
Something neither of you says out loud. Yet.
***
There’s something wildly disorienting about pretending to be engaged while boarding a private jet with your not-actually-fiancé and his team. Everyone’s in branded hoodies, backpacks slung low, and you are wearing sunglasses too big for your face and eating gummy bears out of Lando’s hand.
It shouldn’t feel this easy. But it does.
Lando slouches into the seat beside you, nudging your knee with his. “You ready to charm the entire paddock again?”
You grin, biting off a red bear. “As long as you don’t run me over with a scooter this time.”
He chuckles. “I make no promises.”
The entire team is still buzzing about Monaco, and Lando’s riding the wave like he was born for it. Every time someone asks about “the duchess,” he beams, slings an arm around you like it’s instinct, and says something utterly absurd like, “She saved me from a life of bachelor mediocrity.”
You elbow him every time. He doesn’t stop.
When you land, everything’s familiar but shinier. More photographers. More interest. More rumors. The press is obsessed, still pushing out think pieces dissecting your “engagement,” articles titled How Luxembourg’s Royal Match Might Save McLaren’s PR Season and Love, Speed, and Statecraft: A Modern Fairytale?
You try not to read them. You try not to notice that people are beginning to look at you and Lando like something real is happening.
But the problem is … it’s starting to feel real.
Especially when he FaceTimes his mother from the garage and yells, “Mum! Look who I’ve got!”
You barely have time to blink before a kind, curious woman appears onscreen, waving excitedly. “Oh, she’s gorgeous! Hello, sweetheart!”
“Hi,” you laugh, suddenly weirdly nervous. “It’s lovely to meet you.”
“Don’t let him get away with anything,” she says warmly. “He’s always been a cheeky one.”
“Mum,” Lando whines, red in the ears.
You smile. “I’ll keep him in line. Royal decree.”
His mum howls with laughter. “Oh, I like her.”
After the call ends, Lando’s quiet for a second, just watching you like he’s never seen you before.
“What?” You ask.
He shrugs, softly. “Nothing. Just … you’re good with my family.”
You nudge his shoulder. “And you brought a duchess to meet your mum over FaceTime in a dirty motorhome. What a catch.”
He grins. “The best catch.”
It’s easy. Too easy. And that’s what makes the next part harder.
***
You find out about the betrothal preparations by accident.
You’re in your suite, half-watching footage from practice, when your phone buzzes with a message from Martine.
Draft of formal announcement attached. Parliament reviewing wording. Father approved. Event tentatively scheduled for end of month.
You stare at the screen. You knew they were talking. You just didn’t know it had escalated.
The file opens to a beautifully typeset letter with phrases like With deep joy, the Grand Ducal Family announces … and in celebration of the enduring relationship between Luxembourg and the international community …
Your name. Lando’s name. Your actual engagement.
You blow out a slow, quiet breath. “… Right,” you murmur.
Because this was never supposed to get that far. This was supposed to be a joke. A misinterpreted hat and a string of PR saves. Something temporary. Something ridiculous.
And now it’s a royal decree in waiting.
***
You don’t tell Lando right away.
You’re not sure how. Or when. Or even if it’ll matter. Part of you wants to see if he’s catching on.
The problem is — he is. But not in the way you expect.
You catch him in the paddock later that afternoon, pressed up against a journalist with a tight smile and a voice that sounds … off.
“We’re just having fun,” he’s saying. “I mean, obviously we’re fond of each other, but come on, it’s been, what, a few weeks? Everyone’s reading into things too much. It’s not, like … real real.”
You freeze. Your chest does something strange.
“Fake engagement,” the reporter repeats, scribbling fast. “So you’d call it fake?”
“No — well — I mean, it’s a misunderstanding. But like, funny. Silly. Not serious-serious. I’m not actually about to marry-”
He looks up.
Sees you.
His mouth shuts instantly.
You turn on your heel before he can say your name.
***
He finds you later in the hospitality suite, tucked into a corner booth with your legs crossed and your arms folded tight. You’re wearing sunglasses even though you’re indoors. It’s not sunny.
“Hey,” he says, breathless like he ran. “Can we talk?”
You don’t look at him. “You should go.”
“Please don’t be mad-”
“I’m not mad,” you say. “I’m just confused.”
He slides in across from you. “About what?”
You take off your sunglasses slowly, like peeling back a layer of yourself.
“Are you embarrassed?” You ask, quiet but steady. “Of me?”
His eyes widen. “What? No!”
“Because I heard you,” you say. “With the press. Like I’m some PR stunt you’re trying to backpedal.”
“That’s not what I meant.”
“Then what did you mean?”
He opens his mouth. Closes it.
“I didn’t think they’d take it this seriously,” he says finally. “I thought we were just having fun.”
Your expression doesn’t change. “Is that all it is to you?”
He fidgets. “I don’t know.”
You let the silence settle like dust between you.
“Do you think I chose to be born into this?” You ask, softer now. “The titles. The politics. The fact that I can’t even order a burger without it being international news?”
“No, of course not-”
“I’ve spent every day of my life playing by someone else’s rules,” you say. “And then this — this accident, this whole engagement — it’s the first time I’ve actually liked the story I’m in. And you’re out here telling everyone exactly how fake it is.”
Lando looks like he’s been slapped. “I didn’t mean to make you feel that way.”
“Well, you did.”
You stand.
He reaches for your wrist, but you step back.
“I have to go,” you say. “My advisors are expecting me. We’re planning a fake betrothal gala.”
Your voice cracks a little on the last word.
And then you walk away.
You don’t see the look on Lando’s face as you leave. But if you had, you’d see it plain as day:
Regret. Real, gut-punching regret.
***
Lando’s been outside your hotel for thirty-six minutes.
Thirty-six minutes of pacing, kicking the heel of his sneaker against a marble step, and trying to figure out if knocking on the door of a royal suite gets him arrested. Or excommunicated. Or worse — rejected.
He’s holding a paper bag.
Inside is an apology attempt in the form of your favorite milkshake (two straws, vanilla with caramel swirl), a squished pastry from the café you liked down the block, and a note that says I suck but I’d like to stop sucking, please?
He stares at the door. Then knocks, fast, before he can lose his nerve.
When it swings open, you’re there. Barefoot, in an oversized t-shirt and a messy bun. You look tired. And beautiful. And like you haven’t made up your mind about forgiving him.
“You came all this way to give me diabetes?” You ask.
He lifts the bag sheepishly. “There’s also emotional vulnerability in here. Limited edition.”
You lean against the doorframe. “How limited?”
“Like … might expire in fifteen minutes if left at room temperature?”
Your mouth quirks. “Alright, come in.”
He steps inside. There are no royal advisors. No handlers. No headlines. Just you. And the thudding panic in his chest.
“I brought peace offerings,” he says, unloading the bag onto the table like a raccoon presenting stolen treasure. “Pastry. Milkshake. Handwritten note, because I’m a man of old-school charm and no real plan.”
You sit down across from him, legs folded under you. “Didn’t peg you for the note-writing type.”
“Yeah, well, I panicked halfway through and drew a sad face instead of finishing a sentence.”
You pick it up, scan it. Then lift your eyes to his. “You really drew a sad face next to the word ‘unworthy’?”
He winces. “In hindsight, it was maybe too on the nose.”
Silence.
You take a long sip of milkshake. “Why did you say it wasn’t real?”
Lando swallows hard. “Because I freaked out.”
“That’s not an answer.”
He nods. Rubs the back of his neck. Then looks at you, really looks at you.
“You’re a duchess,” he says. “A literal royal. You speak six languages and have a coat of arms, and every photo of you looks like a Vogue cover. And me? I crash scooters into things and get told off by Zak for being late to briefings because I got distracted by pigeons.”
You raise an eyebrow. “Pigeons?”
“Look, they were doing funny head bobs, alright?”
You huff a laugh. He presses on.
“I didn’t say it wasn’t real because I don’t want it to be,” he says, voice low now. “I said it because I didn’t think I deserved it. Deserved you.”
That catches you off guard. You blink. “You think I’d pretend to be engaged to someone I didn’t think was worth my time?”
“You agreed to it because of a hat, Your Highness,” he points out. “Not exactly a high bar.”
You throw a pillow at him. He catches it, grinning, but there’s something earnest in his eyes now. Less golden-retriever panic, more quiet honesty.
“I meant it when I said I like being around you,” he says. “Not because of the title or the press or the fact that you can probably have me banished. I like you. The person who steals fries from my plate and makes up stories about strangers in cafes and gets this little line between her eyebrows when she’s pretending not to care.”
You glance away, trying to hide the fact that your heart’s doing the cha-cha.
“I was scared,” he adds. “Still am, kinda.”
“Of what?”
“Of messing this up. Of not knowing where the fake part ends and the real part starts. Of it being real and you not wanting that.”
You stare at him. Then lean forward. And kiss him.
It’s not for show. It’s not for the cameras or the press or the legacy of Luxembourg. It’s just for him.
His breath catches. His fingers curl reflexively around the edge of the table like he’s grounding himself.
When you pull back, you’re still close enough to see the freckle on his cheek, the way his eyes dart to your lips like he’s already memorizing the way you taste.
“That,” you say, “was not fake.”
He exhales, stunned. “Good. Because if it was, I was gonna have to dramatically fall to my knees and declare my love in rhyme.”
You snort. “Please don’t.”
“I had a verse ready,” he insists. “Something about you being the queen of my circuit and the pole position of my heart-”
You groan, but you’re laughing now. He grins wide, basking in it like sunlight.
Then your smile fades, just a little.
“But I don’t want to keep pretending,” you say. “Not like this.”
He nods. “Neither do I.”
“I want it to be real,” you say. “Even if that means stepping back from the public part. Even if that means confusing everyone.”
“Let ‘em be confused,” he says. “I just want to be with you. Not the tabloid version. You.”
You sit there for a moment. Letting the quiet fill the space between words.
Then you reach for his hand.
“I have to make some calls,” you say. “Tell my advisors we’re not doing a state engagement tour.”
Lando bites back a smirk. “Damn. I had already picked out a tiara to match my race suit.”
You stand, tug him up with you. “Help me sneak out the back?”
He beams. “Always.”
***
An hour later, you’re both in disguises — hoodies, sunglasses, and the kind of hats you only wear when you’re actively avoiding being recognized.
You walk along the water like two teenagers skipping class. Lando swings your hand between you.
“You know,” he says casually, “I don’t even mind if you tell your family we broke up.”
You glance at him. “What, you want me to text my father hey, sorry, not actually marrying the F1 driver?”
He shrugs. “I mean, if you want. But like, add a smiley face so he doesn’t hate me.”
You stop walking.
“Lando,” you say, turning to face him. “He doesn’t hate you.”
“You sure? He looked like he wanted to adopt me and throw me in a dungeon over video call.”
You roll your eyes. “He likes you. He’s just never had to deal with this kind of scandal before. Luxembourg is … very traditional.”
Lando’s quiet for a second. “Do you ever wish you weren’t royal?”
You hesitate. “Sometimes.”
“Because it’s lonely?”
You nod. “Because it’s … scripted. Every word. Every move. Every smile.”
He squeezes your hand. “Then let’s unscript it.”
You look up at him.
And in that moment — no palace, no cameras, no ancient traditions — you believe it.
This thing between you isn’t part of the plan. But maybe it’s the best part.

The Château de Berg looks exactly like a place where people wear sashes unironically.
Lando stands at the base of the grand staircase, fiddling with the cuff of his tux, while you float down the steps like you’ve been doing this since birth — which, frankly, you have.
You’re in navy silk and diamonds. He’s in mild, manageable panic.
“You okay?” You ask when you reach him.
He stares at you. “You look like a Bond girl. I look like I got lost on my way to a wedding I wasn't invited to.”
“You look great.”
“Yeah, great and very much like a commoner infiltrating the kingdom.”
You roll your eyes, looping your arm through his. “You’re my date, remember?”
“Right. Your real date now. Not just the guy who caused a constitutional crisis with a baseball cap.”
“That was a team hat,” you correct. “And technically, it’s a national treasure now.”
He laughs, but there’s a beat of silence as you both step into the gala ballroom.
Because everyone is watching.
Every. Single. Person.
Politicians, nobles, press photographers, distant cousins who’ve probably never spoken to you but now feel emotionally invested in your relationship status. All of them freeze slightly when they see you walk in.
And then Lando does the most Lando thing imaginable. He squeezes your hand. In full view of everyone. No hesitation.
Your spine, trained by decades of royal etiquette, goes rigid for a half second, then softens. You glance at him.
He just smiles.
“Do I bow to anyone?” He asks under his breath.
“You could,” you whisper back. “But that would be weird.”
“So I shouldn’t curtsy either?”
“I swear to God, Lando-”
“Just checking.”
You lead him through the crowd, nodding politely to various dignitaries who eye Lando with expressions ranging from bemused to is that the F1 boy who did the shoey that one time?
When a Luxembourgish minister tries to corner you with questions about heritage tourism initiatives, Lando — beautiful, clueless, brilliant Lando — steps in and distracts him by asking detailed questions about the country’s road safety infrastructure.
He even nods seriously. “Roundabouts are so underrated, man.”
You almost choke on champagne.
Later, after the violinist finishes a performance so somber you briefly feel like you should repent for something, you tug Lando away toward one of the quieter wings of the palace.
He follows without question. “We sneaking out again? Because I don’t think I’m dressed for burgers.”
“Not this time,” you say, leading him through a hall lined with portraits of monarchs in very large ruffled collars.
You open a door.
The room inside is small by royal standards — still the size of a generous hotel suite — but softly lit and quiet. At the center, on a velvet pedestal, rests a crown.
Not a cartoonish, jewel-encrusted monstrosity. But elegant. Heavy-looking. Steeped in history.
Lando freezes. “Wait. Is that-”
“The ceremonial crown,” you say. “For the heir.”
He blinks. “So … yours.”
You nod.
He steps closer, squinting. “It looks really … shiny.”
“That’s the gold.”
“Right. Of course. Just, y’know, very crown-y.”
You raise a brow. “You want to try it on?”
His head snaps up. “Am I allowed to?”
“Absolutely not.”
He grins. “So obviously I have to.”
You gesture to the nearby armchair like a royal game show host. “Then kneel.”
He hesitates. “Like, actually?”
“If you want the crown, yes.”
He kneels.
It’s chaotic, awkward, and completely him — one knee down, then wobbling a bit because his dress shoes have no grip. You bite back a laugh.
“You sure you’re ready for this responsibility, Mr. Norris?”
He places a hand dramatically on his heart. “I solemnly swear to not crash into any world leaders on a scooter.”
You lift the crown carefully from its stand.
It’s heavier than you remember. Or maybe it’s just that Lando’s looking up at you with that dopey grin, eyes crinkled, like he thinks this is the best joke you’ve ever played on him.
You lower it toward his head, pausing just above.
Then say, soft and teasing, “Do you swear loyalty to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg?”
He blinks.
Then something changes in his expression. Something unguarded.
“I swear loyalty to you,” he says, quiet now.
Your breath catches. And for a moment, it isn’t funny anymore.
You look down at him. Kneeling. Grinning still, but less exaggerated. Less ironic.
And you feel it — the shift. That terrifying, impossible weight in your chest.
You want it to be true. All of it.
Not just the fake engagement. Not just the headlines or the banter or the jokes about tiaras.
You want him.
The chaos. The kindness. The fierce way he holds your hand in front of a room full of people who’ve probably written dissertations on protocol.
You set the crown down beside him.
“Too heavy?” He asks.
You sit across from him. “Too real.”
Lando folds his legs under him, now seated on the floor in full tuxedo, just inches away. “You okay?”
“I don’t know,” you admit.
“Because I said something dumb again?”
You shake your head. “Because you said something honest.”
He rests his chin on your knee.
“That’s the thing about crowns,” he murmurs. “They look like jokes until they’re not.”
You meet his eyes.
And maybe he sees something in yours, because he adds, “Hey, I’m not asking you to make me royal. I’m just saying … you don’t have to wear the heavy stuff alone.”
You don’t kiss him this time.
You just lean your forehead against his and stay there, hearts thudding in tandem.
The velvet. The gold. The hush of history around you.
And him.
The boy who kneeled because you dared him to. And meant every word he said.
***
Silverstone is humming.
The air crackles with adrenaline and overpriced beer and the unmistakable scent of burnt rubber. British flags wave like it’s a national holiday — because in a way, it is. It’s Lando’s home race, and every person within a five-mile radius not cheering for Lewis Hamilton is wearing something papaya. The grandstands are alive with chants and cheers. It’s chaos. Beautiful, electric chaos.
And somehow, you’re in the middle of it.
Again.
You’re not in a palace. Not under a chandelier or beside a velvet rope. You're in a paddock full of sweaty engineers and excited children and a camera crew who keeps zooming in a little too often. The sky above is a mess of clouds that can't decide whether to rain or behave. It feels real. Unfiltered. Like the first inhale after you’ve been holding your breath for years.
Lando is glowing.
Not literally. (Although he’s so ridiculously tanned from being outside that he might be.)
He’s just … alive. In his element. Grinning like a kid who got handed the keys to a rollercoaster.
“Mate,” he says to a McLaren engineer, “if we shave 0.2 off sector two, I’ll get you a beer the size of your head. Swear.”
Then he catches your eye across the garage, and the grin softens. Changes. Like he can’t quite believe you’re there.
“You showed up,” he says, walking over. His suit is half-zipped, gloves dangling from one hand, hair a little flattened by a headset.
You raise an eyebrow. “I said I would.”
“Yeah, but sometimes I think you’ve got a kingdom to run or — what do you call it — ancient royal responsibilities?”
You smile. “I rearranged Luxembourg’s strategic policy briefings to be here. So you better win.”
“Oh God,” he mutters. “National pressure.”
You reach into your bag.
He narrows his eyes. “What’s that?”
“A surprise.”
“Is it a scepter? Please tell me it’s a scepter.”
You pull out a hat.
Not just any hat.
It’s a custom McLaren cap — deep orange with black trim, his driver number embroidered in silver thread on the side, and a small, discreet crest of Luxembourg stitched into the underside of the brim.
Lando blinks. “Wait. What — ”
“I had it made,” you say, holding it out. “For you.”
His mouth opens. Then closes. Then opens again. “You made me a hat?”
“Technically I designed it. Royal prerogative.”
He takes it reverently, like it might shatter in his hands.
“Try it on,” you say.
He does.
And you reach up, slow and deliberate, to adjust it — placing it gently on his head.
The way he did with you in Monaco.
The way you now know means something in your culture.
It’s not just cute. It’s not just a gesture.
It’s a statement.
There’s a beat.
A collective inhale from the crowd around you, like everyone saw it and knows.
Someone’s camera shutter clicks.
Then another.
Then three more.
Somewhere, a tabloid headline is practically writing itself.
Lando stares at you under the brim.
“You just …” he starts, voice low.
“Balanced the scales,” you finish. “You gave me yours first.”
His mouth quirks up. “This means I’m the Grand Duchess now, yeah?”
“You would make a terrible duchess.”
He scoffs. “I’d be brilliant.”
“You’d try to turn the royal palace into a karting circuit.”
“I would never-” He pauses. “Okay, I would. But like … a tasteful one.”
You both dissolve into laughter.
The kind that catches you off guard and settles somewhere deep in your ribs.
The kind that means this — whatever this is — isn’t just temporary anymore.
***
Later, while Lando’s giving a pre-qualifying interview, a reporter points to the hat.
“Custom cap today, Lando?” She asks with a wink.
He glances toward you, watching from the edge of the pit wall in sunglasses and a smug little smile.
Lando shrugs. “Gift.”
“From the Duchess?”
His face turns ten shades of red. “Maybe.”
“Looks like a pretty serious gesture.”
He scratches his neck, sheepish. “I mean, if you’re lucky enough to get one, yeah … you hold onto it.”
The clip goes viral before the session even starts.
***
After qualifying, he finds you waiting beside the McLaren motorhome, arms crossed, foot tapping in mock impatience.
“You said you’d get pole,” you tease.
“I said I’d try. Which I did. Very hard. Max just exists to ruin my life.”
You loop your fingers through his. “I’m still proud of you.”
“Even with P2?”
“Especially with P2.”
He shifts his weight. “They’re calling it the Reverse Proposal now. On Twitter. The hat thing.”
You roll your eyes. “Of course they are.”
“I’m trending with your country’s name. I’m not even in Luxembourg.”
“Give it a week. You’ll probably be knighted.”
Lando leans closer. “Would you stay?”
“Hm?”
“After the race. Stay in the UK a little longer. I’ll take you to my hometown. My mum’ll feed you way too much and ask if I’m behaving.”
You smile. “And what would you say?”
“That I’m doing my best.”
You brush a hand through his hair, just under the brim of the cap.
“You’re doing more than that,” you whisper. “You’re making me feel like I’m not just … a crown.”
Lando’s eyes soften.
“You’re not,” he says. “You’re everything but that.”
The cameras catch you leaning into him.
Not for show. Not for press.
Just because.
And somewhere, miles away, in a palace covered in polished marble and a thousand years of history, a staffer is already drafting a new press release.
Not for a fake engagement. Not for a tradition accidentally triggered.
But maybe, just maybe …
For the real thing.
***
It starts like a joke.
The kind Lando makes when he’s nervous. Fidgeting with his hoodie strings, bouncing slightly on the balls of his feet, saying things like “Right, so if this goes terribly wrong, I can still blame the British weather, yeah?”
You’re in London. More specifically, you’re in a hidden garden tucked behind a historic townhouse, the kind with ivy climbing up old brick walls and roses blooming like they’re performing for royalty. (They probably are.) You’re only in town for a few days — official meetings, diplomatic appearances, a quiet dinner with a visiting Luxembourgish minister. Nothing too scandalous. Nothing that would make the papers.
Until now.
You glance at him suspiciously. “Why are you being weird?”
“I’m not being weird,” Lando says, very much being weird.
“You’re sweating.”
“It’s thirty degrees and I’m in long sleeves.”
“You’re in a hoodie. Like a gremlin.”
“First of all, rude.”
You cross your arms, stepping in front of him on the cobbled garden path. “What are we doing here, Lando?”
His grin flickers. Just for a second.
Then he exhales.
“Okay, right. So. I wanted to do this somewhere quiet. Somewhere just … us.”
Your eyebrows rise.
“Not in a castle. Not in front of the entire European Parliament. Just … with birds and, like, a suspiciously photogenic squirrel over there.”
You blink. “Are you okay?”
He reaches into the pocket of his hoodie.
And pulls out a hat.
Not just any hat.
The hat.
The one from Monaco. The one he placed on your head the day everything spiraled. The one that started a thousand headlines and at least one constitutional debate. The one you lost your mind over when it mysteriously vanished from your closet last week.
“Is that-”
He nods, sheepish. “Yeah. I, uh … borrowed it.”
“You stole it.”
“Temporarily.”
“Lando!”
“I had a plan!”
You laugh, half outraged, half flattered. “You absolute menace.”
He steps closer, holding the cap in both hands now. And suddenly, he’s not fidgeting. Not bouncing. Just looking at you like the rest of the world has gone silent.
“I was gonna get a ring,” he says. “I have a ring. But I thought maybe this … this felt more us.”
You stop breathing.
He takes a breath for you.
“I didn’t know what I was doing back then. When I gave you this. I didn’t know who you were or what that meant or how much that one tiny moment would mess up my entire life in the best way possible.”
You blink fast.
“Lando …”
“And now I do. Know. Everything. I know who you are. I know what you carry. And I know I want to carry it with you.”
He swallows. The cap shifts in his hands.
“So, yeah. This is stupid and not shiny and it’s probably sweaty. But it’s ours.”
Then — slowly, deliberately — he places it back on your head.
And kneels.
Not dramatically. Not performatively.
Just … reverently.
Like a man who understands now what he didn’t back then.
“Will you marry me?” He says. “For real this time?”
Silence.
Except your heartbeat.
And the click of a single camera shutter — because of course someone, somewhere, caught it.
You don’t care.
You kneel, too.
And kiss him.
Right there in the dirt and roses and British humidity.
“Yes,” you say against his smile. “Obviously, yes.”
***
The palace releases a statement two hours later.
Their Royal Highnesses the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess are pleased to confirm the engagement of Her Royal Highness the Hereditary Grand Duchess Y/N Y/L/N to Mr. Lando Norris.
You pass the phone to Lando.
He stares at it like it might explode.
“Oh my God,” he says. “It’s real. It’s really real.”
And then he pulls out his phone.
“You’re not tweeting,” you warn.
“I’m absolutely tweeting.”
You watch over his shoulder as he types.
@LandoNorris: turns out giving someone your hat is a big deal 👀
also turns out i’m marrying the love of my life
brb crying 🧡👑
You groan. “You put emojis in your engagement tweet.”
“Of course I did.”
“I’m going to be monarch someday and you just used the eyeball emoji.”
“Should’ve thought of that before you said yes.”
He turns to the camera crews still filming.
“She said yes, by the way!” He calls out. “Like, for real this time! Sorry to disappoint anyone still holding out for a princess fantasy. She’s mine now.”
You bury your face in your hands.
It’s absurd.
It’s embarrassing.
It’s … perfect.
Somewhere, your father is probably watching the livestream and toasting with vintage champagne. Somewhere else, Parliament is scrambling to schedule a press conference. And somewhere even farther away, an ancient Luxembourgish historian is definitely writing a very dry academic paper titled “The Sociopolitical Implications of Cap-Based Courtship in the 21st Century.”
But all you can see is Lando.
Grinning like the sun.
Yours.
