Match-up for Aries Sun Anon
Tumblr media
Your match is Kaminari Denki
You were the kind of person who couldn’t go unnoticed when you entered U.A, and it wasn’t because of your quirk that people where drawned to you , but because of the positivity that came out of your enthusiastic personality.
There's something pleasant and reassurig to hang out with outgoing people who always have things to tell, and Kaminari is no exception to the rules, he’s attracted to your smiling figure like a magnet and enjoy your company as much as his closest friends’s.
You got closer naturally with his easy going temper, and quickly became inseparable because you’re a lot alike. He’s a real jokester and there’re a not a single day where you don’t go to bed without thinking back at the good laugh you two had, hugging your pillow at how silly, yet adorable, this guy is.
Kaminari, even if he doesn’t show it to everyone, can get really anxious about himself, his quirk, his grades, his strenght, he would shrug it off with a pun and take it lightly, but deep inside, he’s really feeling bad about it, your ‘mommy’ and supportive sides help him open up everytime he’s feeling down and it’s something he doesn’t allow himself to do with everyone, but your advices always appease his heart and mind.
You’re someone that would never let anyone down, and who do her best to pleased and make everyone feel loved and happy, once more, even if he plays it cool, he needs to be reassured too and that side of you has a really soothing effect.
Your dediction to other and the way you’re ready to fight everything and everyone that could hurt the ones you loves win his heart in no time, and he can’t help but found reaaaally cute the way you got angry with that little size of you (yeah, even if you’re not ‘that small, he’s taller so..), plus, he won’t mind a tiny bit of jealousy to be honest, it just supports the fact the subject of his deep love returns his feelings ~
He’ll teach you that it’s alright to share your intruisive bad thoughts, and it’s alright to open your mouth and say things that could hurt people if it’s deserved, you shouldn’t keep all of this to yourself or you’ll feel really bad on the long term.
He’ll also make you understand, that’s it’s not okay to let people step on you because of your kindness and that no one is allowed to take advantage of you and use it as a weakness. He’s ready to follow you on your adventures and fight to your side like a guardian, jumping on everyone that would understimate or threaten you.
As soon as he realized his feelings for you, he began to felt a bit nervous around you, cracking awkward jokes with no falls and embarrassed laugh with his hand behind his head.
A single smile of his and you’re feeling lighter, with his attentions and the way his eyes enlightened everytime he looked at you, you’ll feel like you’re always under the spotlights.
Your life in the BNHA World
- Everytime Yuga sees your resting face, he gets anxious and showers you with sparkles to make you smile because he can’t stand to see you sad..even if technycally, you’re not.
- Ochaco got a REAL BIG CRUSH on your older brother when she saw him picking you up one day.
- You spent a whole afternoon squinting on the board because you couldn’t read what was written on it, then you saw Iida in the same distress, you had both exchange your glasses.
~
- Your very first kiss happened under the rain, and you almost saw sparkles of lightning coming out of his ears
- When you’re together, you become a bit too disgusting for most people with all that lovey-dovey things and positivity encircling you. It wouldn’t be rare to see Jiro puting a finger in her mouth and faking nausea to make people laugh
- He wanna played the tough guy tasting your breath of the dragon spicy ramen to impressed you, and ended up red as a tomato spitting fire throught his nose.
You are: A U.A Student Your quirk: You can summon a ram made with constellation of stars to fight by your side, his strenght increased if you use it during the night. Runner-up: Hanta Sero Friends: Yuga Aoyama - Ochaco Uraraka - Izuku Midoriya Don’t get along with: Mezo Shoji - Katsuki Bakugo - Shoto Todoroki Match-up from another fandom: Momotaro Mikoshiba - Free!

Blip.tv: The First Web Network?
YouTube barrels along, streaming everything under the sun, like a giant video Blockbuster, and headed to a collision course with Netflix, Amazon, and Apple. Meanwhile, NYC-based Blip.tv is becoming the prototype web network:
Brian Stelter, Online Video Start-Ups Seek Niche Beside YouTube
Mr. Michaud co-owns Channel Awesome, an aspiring Viacom of the online video world, which promotes online shows about video games, comic books and assorted realms of popular culture. He was a casualty of the recession, having been laid off by Circuit City, the electronics retail chain that later was closed, and now he is a beneficiary of the advertising rebound, having doubled his revenue last year, enough to employ seven people full time.
“People may still scoff at online video, but this is a real business now,” he said over breakfast recently. Channel Awesome’s primary partner is not YouTube, but Blip.tv, which distributes made-for-the-Web series and surrounds them with ads. The companies that create these series are small, are popping up in unexpected places — like Mr. Michaud’s home — and are creating unlikely stars in lucrative niches.
Channel Awesome’s best-known weekly show, “Nostalgia Critic,” which another Circuit City cast off, Doug Walker, produces from his home five minutes from Mr. Michaud’s, draws about three million views a month. Several of Blip’s top production partners are on track to earn at least a $1 million in ad revenue from Blip this year, said Dina Kaplan, a co-founder of Blip.
Like YouTube, Blip splits advertising revenues with Web series producers. But unlike YouTube, which also streams amateur videos, and Netflix, which streams feature films and television shows, Blip is solely focused on those producers. Rather than competing directly, it is trying to carve a niche next to YouTube in the expanding world of Web video.
“This ecosystem that we started working with in 2005 has finally come into its own,” Ms. Kaplan said, citing the success of companies like Mr. Michaud’s, Blip’s relationships with top advertisers like Procter & Gamble, and the growing popularity of streaming video on televisions.
Shows hosted by Blip’s servers now account for 330 million video views a month, the company says. Blip is in its third round of financing by venture capital firms that have invested $18 million.
While audiences are small, the transition to more powerful tablets and mobile devices will hasten the transition to the web network model more quickly than a revolution in the living room.
Stelter calls the tiny companies making the videos that play on Blip.tv 'networks', but they aren't really. They are really production companies, like Seth MacFarlane's Fuzzy Door Pictures. Blip.tv is the real network in this equation.
I wonder when they will start producing news shows? I want to the weekly tech round-up segment, guys!
I am still waiting for Blip.tv to develop a more social aspect of what they are doing. A share button and Disqus comments is really not very much for this day and age.

Why I Am Not Going To SxSW
I have attended SxSW Interactive a few times, and I've found it to be a high-tech Woodstock, without the mud or the music. Just lots of people milling around, and queued up for the parties, the after parties, and the after-after parties.
The selection approach for the talks is all about popularity, and there is no obvious thematic control, and no MC, so the sessions are very uneven. Some can be great, but the majority are a rewarming of shopworn topics. The most popular talks are too crowded to admit all those that want in, so you're lucky if you get into one in five of those.
Austin is also not scaled for an event of the size of SxSW. The venues are too small, so it's almost impossible to breathe at the cocktail parties. There aren't enough hotels downtown for the crowds, and so people have to stay at the airport, or out at the lake and travel miles to get to the event, and the only mass transit is the bus.
I hope that we finally get around to developing a distinctive New York-based, but international tech conference ('TechNYC 2012'), one that stands in distinction to SxSW. One with a wide scope, covering the most critical topics in technology. It could have a combination of invited speakers and an open and public proposal approach, but one where the final selection of talks would be worked out by a small group of organizers, to diminish the artifice of the popularity game ('please vote for my proposal!').
New York is the perfect place for a giant event like this: plenty of hotels, good public transit, a growing tech environment, great universities, and a location where everyone whats to visit.
And no mud.
