SOMEONE GET HER ON A LEASH💀
#LEGENDARYQUOTES
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“starting from today you’re my wife”
self explanatory. thinks every woman in the room is her wife. hell, even yeosang is her wife.
“I’m a wolf so… RARGH👹”
WHY IS SHE GROWLING💀 she was trolled by all eight of her members after she said this in an english interview
“on the count of three, everybody say penis!” ≧◡≦
rest of ateez: 😃
“my left buttcheek is hanging out rn” 🧍🏻‍♀️
yunho, deadpanning to her: “put it back in”
“I’m going to rip your mouth off”
wooyoung. ofc it’s woo.
“let’s give just 201% of our effort tonight”
ICONIC. a quote she always uses if they’re tired before a big performance. used to express that ateez doesn’t just give one hundred or even two hundred percent. the minimum for them is excellency.
“call me oppa”
say it to her rn🔫
“THIS IS FUCKING ATEEZ”
the wind was strong, the music was loud, and it was coachella ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
“just because you have a hole on your face, doesn’t make it a mouth”
truly a legendary quote she gave after getting frustrated from all the hate comments she was seeing
“‘nuna please show us aegyo-’ how old are you first of all-”
quirking her brow like 🤨
“just so you know atiny, my farts are the loudest in ateez” *smirks proudly*
*cue her members dying with embarassment and laughter*
“the lyrics are too seductive? I know, I wrote them”
well, there’s a reason she’s apart of the freak line in ateez
“set the dinner table you useless men”
listen, it’s hard being ateez’s nuna.
“guys, this is our chance to leave, our manager left the room”
hongjoong having to stop her from convincing their younger brothers like 😮‍💨
“do i have a hard time being in a group of eight men?…. where are the men?”
*her evil cackling following suit*
“im going to feed you to the fans”
“siyeon you can’t say that-”😦
“I hope people don’t just see me as a girl who dances with a group of guys, but as a human being first and foremost”
put some respect on my girls name!!!

Jieun blinked slowly, squinting at her blurry surroundings as she adjusted to seeing again. She pushed herself to sit up, letting out a yawn as she rubbed her eyes. Her room was dark, small rays of sunlight filtering through the blinds, though not enough to fill the room.
She stretched her arms out, yawning once more before bringing herself to her feet. Her legs wobbled at the sudden movement, though she quickly shook them out before making her way out of the room.
The moment she stepped into the hallway, the sweet smell of food and the sound of the kitchen fan filled her senses. She frowned in confusion, knowing there was no way it was Yunho or Yeosang that were cooking. Between the three of them, Jieun was the one who cooked the most, and even then, she rarely did.
Jieun made her way to the kitchen, peering her head through the entrance to see Wooyoung standing at the stove, sleeves rolled up as he stirred something in a pot. Over the sound of the kitchen fan and him humming along to a song she didn’t recognize, Wooyoung seemed to have not noticed her presence.
A small smile made its way onto her face as she stepped into the kitchen and leaned against the counter, crossing her arms. She remained there for about a minute, just watching the boy as he moved around the kitchen, completely oblivious of her presence.
It was only when he turned around to put away some spices that Wooyoung finally noticed her. He let out a yelp of surprise as he jumped, causing the spices in his hands to slip out. Jieun’s eyes widened as she leaned forward, quickly catching the containers before they fell.
“Eunnie, what the hell?” Wooyoung said with wide eyes, standing up straight. “You scared the shit out of me.”
Jieun giggled as she opened one of the cupboards, placing the spices back where they belonged.
“Sorry.”
Wooyoung just shook his head in amusement as he looked over his shoulder, checking on the pot.
“Glad to see you’re finally awake,” he commented. “We all thought you were in a coma or something.”
She frowned. “Wait, how long was I asleep?”
The side of his mouth tilted upward in a smirk as he reached for his phone on the counter. After unlocking it and scrolling for a bit, he held it out in front of her so she could read what was on  the screen. Curiously, Jieun took the phone out of his hands and began looking through the messages.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Wait…” She swiped down on his phone to check the date, jaw dropping when she realized that she’d last been awake over 24 hours prior. “I can’t believe I was asleep for over a day.”
Wooyoung chuckled. “I can,” he replied, shaking his head. “You barely slept on the plane, pulled an all-nighter because you had your setup back, and then tried staying up to fix your sleeping schedule.”
She placed his phone back on the counter, leaning over slightly to see what was in the pot, only for her vision to be blocked by Wooyoung.
“Nope, not until it’s done,” he said, waving her off. “It’ll probably be another 20-30 minutes. You can go take a shower while you wait.”
Jieun glanced up at him, the two making eye contact for a moment before she quickly averted her gaze. Heat rushed up to her face, the same familiar feeling from that night bubbling inside her once again.
Without saying another word, she nodded, quickly turning around before retreating out of the kitchen. Behind her, Wooyoung’s gaze lingered on where she’d just been standing, a small sigh escaping his lips before he turned back to the pot and continued stirring.
Tumblr media
“Where’s everyone else?” Jieun asked, raising the spoon to her mouth. A delighted smile spread across her face as she ate the soup that Wooyoung had prepared for her.
“Mingi and Hongjoong-hyung are at the studio with the producers. I think Yunho, Yeosang and Jongho went somewhere together. I’m not sure about the rest, though.”
She nodded in understanding, taking another bite. “Were you doing anything before this?”
The boy shook his head. “No, I was just resting at home when I saw the group chat.” He let out a snort. “I honestly thought you weren’t responding to my messages because you were grinding Valorant again.”
“I’m not that obsessed,” she protested, fighting off a smile.
“Aren’t you going to that Champions tournament soon?”
“That’s different,” Jieun huffed. “I was actually invited to that event, plus Natty’s performing and I want to support my fellow Sixteen survivor.”
For once, Wooyoung didn’t want to debate further. All he did was let out a small chuckle and nod before going back to his own meal.
Jieun raised her spoon once more, though paused when it was just a few inches from her mouth. Slowly, she lowered the spoon again and looked up at him. Her gaze lingered on the boy for a couple seconds, silently watching as he enjoyed his food. A small pout made its way onto her face.
“Thanks, by the way,” Jieun said quietly, glancing down to avoid his gaze. “For coming to check on me. And for making me food. You didn’t have to.”
Wooyoung stopped momentarily, though eventually just gave a small shrug. “It’s ok, I wanted to,” he responded simply.
As Jieun watched him eat, a warmth began building in her stomach that soon spread throughout her whole body. All she could do was sit in silence, appreciating the comfort it brought knowing that he’d been thoughtful enough to check up on her, and kind enough to make sure she woke up to a good meal.
Her body felt like it was on fire, the room suddenly shrinking around her. Jieun quickly excused herself to the bathroom, not looking back as she rushed out.
Once inside, Jieun stared at herself in the mirror, cheeks flushed. She turned on the faucet before leaning down to splash some cold water on herself, though it did nothing to cool the growing warmth across her face.
“Maybe I’m sick,” she muttered, pressing the back of her hand against her forehead.
She wasn’t sure how long she stayed in the bathroom, though it must have been a while considering the rhythmic knocks that sounded outside the door.
“Eunnie? Are you alright?” Wooyoung asked, concern evident in his voice.
Jieun quickly wiped her face with a towel, nodding despite the fact that he couldn’t see her.
“Yeah! I’m fine!” she called back. Jieun glanced over at the doorknob, staring at it for a couple seconds before letting out a sigh and opening the door.
Wooyoung stood in front of her, looking down at the girl with a small frown on his face as he studied her features. Without warning, he reached over and pressed his palm against the girl’s forehead.
“You sure you’re ok, Eunnie?” He gently placed his hands on her face before moving them down to her neck. “You’re all red and sweaty.”
Jieun was quick to push the boy away, forcing out a laugh.
“I think it’s just the effect of sleeping for over a day,” she answered. Wooyoung only stared at the girl with narrowed eyes as she avoided his gaze, though he eventually gave up.
“If you say so…”
Without responding, she quickly walked past him and back to the dining table where the rest of her food was still sitting. Wooyoung had finished eating while she was in the bathroom, thus when he came back, he started working on the dishes. Jieun tried focusing her attention solely on her food, though she couldn’t help but watch the boy as he stood at the sink, his sleeves rolled up and hands sporting huge yellow rubber gloves.
She finished the rest of her food quickly despite it being cold. The moment she did, Wooyoung immediately took the bowl out of her hand and placed it in the sink. Jieun contemplated offering to finish the dishes, though knowing the boy, she knew there was no way he’d let her do any work.
Jieun could only nod, a small, grateful smile spreading across her face as he glanced over at her. She leaned against the counter.
“So…are you doing anything else today?” Jieun asked hesitantly.
Wooyoung nodded. “Yeah, I have an appointment in around 45 minutes that I have to get ready for.”
“Oh.”
Why was she so disappointed?
“I see,” Jieun stood up straight, crossing her arms as Wooyoung turned the faucet off. He placed the rubber gloves back on the edge of the sink before turning to the girl.
“Wanna watch a movie later when I get back?” he asked.
“I-I’ll see,” Jieun said, glancing away. “I have some… stuff. There’s some work I have to do.”
“Oh!” Wooyoung’s eyebrows raised, leaning back slightly. He blinked a couple times, nodding. “I understand.” After a few seconds of silence, he added, “I hope it goes well for you.”
“Thanks.”
The two stood there in silence for an extended period of time, the awkwardness only growing with every second that passed.
“Well I should probably go-”
“I’ll let you know if I-”
They both cut themselves off, eyes widening at each other before each chuckling, Wooyoung gesturing for her to speak.
“I’ll let you know if I finish everything early,” she said. “You should probably go and get ready for your appointment.”
They made their way toward the door together, Jieun following close behind the boy. She watched as he slipped his shoes back on before reaching for the doorknob. As he opened it and began to step out, Jieun suddenly spoke up.
“Oppa,” she said, causing him to immediately stop and turn around. Jieun hesitated for a moment, before quietly mumbling, “Thank you again. For everything.”
After what felt like years, a soft smile spread across Wooyoung’s face as he gave a single nod.
“Anytime, Eunnie.”
With one final wave, Wooyoung turned around and began making his way down the hallway. She kept the door open for a moment to watch as he left before quickly shutting it and locking the door. Jieun turned around and leaned back against the door, letting out a groan as she slumped to the ground.
Whatever it was that was happening to her, she had to figure it out before it got out of hand.

They might as well be looking at us
Tumblr media
Infectious laughter echoed in the cozy dormitories of ateez in the middle of their cozy bedroom, illuminated by the dim light of their Mac laptop, Ana and Hongjoong indulged in a photo session filled with love and laughter. The screen showed the perfect snapshot of their sixth anniversary, a testament to their shared journey as a couple.
Their date had been a haven of happiness. They had shared an intimate dinner at their favorite restaurant, where the dim lights and cozy atmosphere had encouraged heartfelt conversations and endless laughter where Ana ordered her favorite dish of spinach and ricotta ravioli, while Hongjoong opted for some tasty spaghetti marinara . Afterwards, they had escaped to a nearby park, strolling under the starry sky while sharing their dreams and hopes.
Upon returning to their bedroom, they found a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the atmosphere was happy and carefree. Ana sat on Hongjoong's lap, his head resting on his chest as they examined the photos.
'Can you believe it's been six years?' Ana exclaimed, her voice full of wonder. 'It feels like yesterday we met.'
'Time really flies when you're with someone you love,' Hongjoong replied, gently kissing her forehead.
As they scrolled through the images, Ana noticed a photo of her in which Hongjoong was looking into her eyes with an expression of love so deep it made her catch her breath.
'That's my favorite,' she said, pointing to the screen. 'it captures how I feel about you so perfectly.'
Hongjoong smiled. 'is my favorite too.'
Suddenly, the atmosphere became more serious.
'You know, sometimes I wonder what the fans will think when we finally make it public,' Ana said, her voice filled with a mix of excitement and fear.
Hongjoong wrapped his arms around her. 'It doesn't matter what they think, Ana. Our love is real and authentic. We shouldn't hide it to please anyone else.'
'But they might…they might react negatively,' Ana protested.
'True fans will support us,' Hongjoong responded with conviction. 'They understand that we all deserve to be happy, regardless of who we love.'
Ana snuggled closer to him, feeling a wave of calm. She was right. Her love was undeniable, and they would not let the fear of judgment deprive them of their happiness.
'You're right,' she murmured. 'We will announce it to the world when we are ready.'
Hongjoong kissed her forehead. Smiling, Ana leaned in to kiss him
'I love you,' Ana whispered.
'And I love you,' Hongjoong replied. 'More than words can say.'
And in that warm embrace, under the moonlight that filtered through the window, they sealed their promise to always be together, no matter what obstacles life threw at them.
In that moment, everything else faded away. It was just the two of them, sharing a love that was so strong, so pure, and so beautiful that no fear of the future could eclipse it.

“Are you ever going to tell me how you keep finding these places?” Jieun asked with a lighthearted chuckle, cutting into her steak.
Wooyoung shook his head as he raised his pointer finger to his lips. “A genius never reveals his secrets.”
The restaurant Wooyoung had found was only a couple minutes walk from their hotel. She wasn’t sure how she’d missed it before, considering how upscale the restaurant had looked just from the outside. Even as they went inside, Jieun could tell that the restaurant wasn’t just a small local business. How Wooyoung had managed to get a reservation? She’d probably never know.
“I can’t believe the tour’s almost over,” she commented wistfully. “It feels like it went by so quickly.”
“I know,” Wooyoung replied, nodding. “And then after this we’re back home and we get our break.”
“You’re going on a trip with your family, aren’t you?”
“Yeah, our parents and both my brothers.” He looked up at her with a curious gaze. “What about you? Are you and Jihoon-hyung going to go anywhere?”
Jieun pursed her lips, shaking her head.
“Jihoon-oppa’s on a work trip for the next couple weeks,” she answered with a shrug. “It’s alright though. I was just planning on staying at the dorms and getting some work done for my projects.”
She turned back to her food and continued to eat, not noticing the frown on Wooyoung’s face as he watched her. He stared at her for a couple moments before going back to his own meal, though he had a concentrated look on his face the whole time.
“What if you came with us?”
Jieun’s hands froze, looking up at the boy. She searched his gaze for any hint that he was joking, but Wooyoung watched the girl with a completely neutral expression that showed he was anything but.
She let out an awkward chuckle. “It’s alright, it’s a family vacation. I wouldn’t want to intrude and-”
“It’s not intruding if I invited you,” Wooyoung retorted, cutting her off. When Jieun blinked at him again, he let out a quiet snort. “Plus, my family loves you. I’m pretty sure my mom wants to adopt you as her own daughter.”
She glanced down at her food, staring blankly as she contemplated his words. After a few seconds, a small smile spread across her face. Jieun raised her head again, shrugging at the boy.
“I’ll think about it,” she eventually answered, taking another bite of her food.
Wooyoung stared at her with an expression that she couldn’t read, though after a couple seconds, he gave a reluctant nod and turned back to his own meal.
The dinner continued on in silence, something that Jieun was accustomed to. However, rather than the comfortable silence she often found herself in, there was a hint of something in the atmosphere that continuously nagged at her. She took quick glances at Wooyoung in an attempt to figure out what it was, though there was nothing she could do to curb that strange feeling.
Jieun took a sip of her drink as the waiter handed Wooyoung the receipt. He’d once again insisted that he pay since he chose an expensive restaurant, despite Jieun’s protests. Once the waiter was gone, the two were left in silence once more. Wooyoung was looking out into the distance, while Jieun’s gaze remained lowered as she studied the grooves of the tabletop.
After a few minutes of this, their waiter suddenly returned with another plate in hand. He set it down on the table with a smile, revealing a layered chocolate cake with some gold decoration on top, along with two forks.
“Oh, we didn’t order this,” Jieun said, putting her hand out.
The waiter gave a small wave. “It’s on the house, don’t worry.”
Jieun glanced over at Wooyoung, who looked at her with the same amount of surprise that her own expression held. They turned back at the waiter in unison and offered their thanks, who uttered a single “enjoy” before heading off.
“Wow, free dessert,” Wooyoung said, raising his eyebrows. He pushed the plate toward her with a tight-lipped smile. “You can have it.”
Jieun frowned as she pushed the plate back so it was in between them. “You should have some too.” She motioned toward the forks with her head. “He gave us two forks.”
Wooyoung looked at her with the same unreadable expression from earlier, before he let out a small chuckle and picked up a fork. She did the same, and the two clinked their forks together before digging in.
The older boy’s jaw dropped the moment he took a bite, eyes widening. “Wah, it’s really good,” he said, his mouth full. This caused Jieun to giggle as she nodded, covering her mouth.
“Must be our lucky day.”
The two continued eating, so immersed in the cake that they didn’t notice an older couple approaching their table until a lady spoke up.
“Must I say, you two are the most adorable couple I’ve ever seen,” she said with a warm smile.
Jieun’s eyebrows raised in surprise, stunned at the comment. Before she could come up with a response, however, Wooyoung swiftly spoke up.
“We’re not dating.”
This seemed to surprise the couple, who leaned back slightly as surprise took over their expressions.
“Oh, my apologies,” the lady said, letting out a sheepish chuckle. “I shouldn’t have assumed.”
Jieun gave a small smile, nodding awkwardly as she glanced down at the half-eaten cake.
“You two have a nice evening,” the man said, wrapping an arm around the lady before leading her toward the exit. Jieun watched as he pressed a swift kiss to her temple, causing the lady to jab him in the side. She chuckled at the interaction before turning back to the cake, though her appetite had suddenly become non-existent.
“I’m really full,” she said sheepishly. “You can have the rest, oppa.”
Wooyoung looked over at her. “You sure?” Jieun nodded, pushing the plate closer to him. Her gaze lowered to her lap, where her hands rested neatly as she ran her thumbs over each other.
She was usually grateful when the members spoke up so she didn’t have to, but Wooyoung’s quick response jabbed into her like a knife. The older boy had only been clarifying their situation, so why was she so upset?
Jieun took a deep breath as she looked up at the boy, who was just finishing off the cake. Wooyoung grabbed a napkin to wipe off his face before looking up, and upon noticing her staring at him, gave the girl a wide smile. She stared at him for a moment before the corners of her mouth raised upward, hoping her smile didn’t look as strained as it felt.
The sun had set at some point during the duration of their meal, a couple stars already shining brightly in the sky as they left the restaurant. As they made their way back, the ache in her chest only continued to grow, causing her to gently press against her abdomen in an attempt to stop the feeling. Unfortunately, Wooyoung immediately took notice and glanced at her in concern.
“You ok?” he asked, tilting his head.
Jieun nodded, sending him a small smile.
“I’m alright,” she answered. “Just…girl things. You know?”
Wooyoung’s eyebrows raised, his mouth forming a small ‘o’ shape. “There’s probably a drugstore nearby, if you wanna get something.”
“It’s fine,” Jieun said a bit quicker than she’d intended. “I’ll be ok. Let’s just get back to the hotel.”
She looked away before she was able to see his reaction, though from the fact that he didn’t respond, it was clear he’d accepted the end of the conversation.
“Thanks again for tonight,” Jieun said as they made their way down the hotel hallway, eventually stopping in front of her door.
Wooyoung smiled at the girl, tilting his head down. “Anytime, Eunnie,” he replied, before hesitantly adding, “You’ll think about the trip, right?”
Jieun nodded distractedly as she pulled her room key out of her purse. “Yeah…I will.” She swiped the card through the lock before pushing it open. “Well, good night, oppa.”
Without waiting for him to respond, she walked into the hotel room and closed the door behind her, letting out a big sigh the moment she was through the doors. After pulling her shoes off, she walked further into the room and hung her bag on the side of the chair before opening her drawers.
A small sigh of relief escaped her lips as she noticed San’s absence, presumably out with one of the other members or hanging out with them in their hotel rooms. After quickly changing and doing a shortened version of her night routine, Jieun laid down in her bed and pulled the covers over her.
The feeling was still there, nestled deep inside her chest as her heart beat pounded in her ears. She stared up at the ceiling, trying to make sense of what was going on, though it was to no avail. Even as she closed her eyes, the feeling only continued to grow, warming every part of her body to the point where she had to push the blanket off or risk overheating.
What was happening to her?
