౨ৎ 1.15 am
taesan sighs as he sleepily walks out of the company car, saying bye to his group-mates who stayed in the vehicle to go back to their own dorm building. the boy lets out a quiet yawn as he enters the elevator, blinking twice to fix his sight as the door opened on the sixteenth floor. he drags his feet all the way to end of the hallway, stopping right by the final door. her door.
he smiles, wondering if she had even tried to stay awake late enough to greet him on his arrival after being apart for the past month while he was on tour. taesan kept his thoughts short though, not wanting to prolong the wait any longer as he hastily pushed down on the buttons of the key-pad lock above her door, eyebrows furrowing as he carefully recalled the passcode; her birth date.
with a single click sound, the piece that separates him from the cool air of her company-provided apartment came unlocked, a warm grin creeping against his face as he took in the dark atmosphere.
‘the lights are off, she’s probably asleep’
locking the door behind him, taesan simultaneously takes his shoes off and turns on the entrance lights. he jumps in shock at the unexpected figure standing before him.
a doll. more specifically, the stuffed monkey he had won her at an arcade many dates ago. the plush toy was oddly large, it's size resembling that of a tiny toddler. it sat on the floor before him, in its tiny plush hands a white-board with words scribbled on it in black temporary marker.
“your girlfriend is asleep already, she’s tired. but!!! welcome back!”
followed by a large and slightly deformed heart.
the boy lets out a laugh, picking up the doll and the white-board before making his way towards her bedroom. the door wasn’t closed properly, making it easier for him to make his silent entrance. the lights were off but the peak of the outside world that seeped through the tiny space between her curtains made sight for him to see. taesan's eyes softened, a smile he could not hold back forming on his rather cold complexion as he stood there and stared for a moment. she was curled up against the sheets, eyelashes grazing lightly against her skin as she breathed into her slumber.
not wanting to ruin her peace, the boy spots the marker on her bed-side table. he grabs it, using one end to erase the sweet message she had left him before and then the other end to jot down a new one for her. he placed the monkey beside her on the bed, the white-board back in its arms as he slowly bent down to press a soft kiss against her head. when her eyebrows furrowed and her head shifted deeper into the pillows he smiled and walked away.
yn turns in her bed, the slight sloppiness of his lips placed against her head waking her up from dreamland. the girl squints her eyes, expecting to be met with her boyfriend’s gleaming face but instead being greeted by her plush doll. she got up slightly to read the message he had left, letting out a sleepy yawn in the process.
“taking a shower, go back to sleep darling”
in the worst hand-writting known to man that it was a shock the sleepy girl could even comprehend it.
obliging, yn set the white-board aside, grabbing the stuffed toy and turning over to face the other side and fall asleep once again.
taesan finished drying his hair, thankful (and shocked that it even worked) for the ‘less-noise hair dryer’ his girlfriend had impulsively bought during some huge discount sale the shop was holding on its online forum. the boy finishes up in the bathroom, making sure the sink and shower were turned off properly before walking back into the bedroom.
he noticed the disappearance of the stuffed toy and the message he had left earlier, smiling idiotically to himself as he notices the change in her sleeping position as well. she had turned to face the wall, juxtaposing the way her face faced him when he had walked in the first time.
he checked all the lights in the small apartment once more before crawling under the sheets beside her. the warmth of her presence and the thick weighted blanket immediately engulfed his entire build. taesan wrapped his arms around the girl at last, carefully pulling her closer to his chest. awoken by the sudden warmth, yn hums as she turns back around once more. wordlessly snuggling into his embrace as he pressed yet another kiss to her head, and then another to her cheek.
“how was the flight?” she asked softly, voice raspy from her slumberful state. “good. i missed you” he responds. “me too” she mumbles, her words getting lost into another yawn.
and they were off to sleep.
౨ৎ 7.54 am
“mm” yn mumbles as she begins to wake. a yawn faltering out of her mouth as she rubs her head against the surface of her boyfriend’s chest that she laid on. the girl smiles softly as she looks up to see him fast asleep still. his hair's a mess and his mouth slightly agape as he let out simple breaths. she's taken aback, however, when his still expression had turned itself into a warry smirk.
“what'cha starin’ at darling?”
his deep and croaky morning voice, a voice she hadn’t heard in a while, since he was on tour in japan, sent shivers down her spine. the coolness of the air conditioner doing nothing to stop the goosebumps from forming against her skin.
“hm?” he hummed, starting to open up his own eyes to look at her. “i missed you so much” she says, feeling a sudden shyness wash over her body. instinctively, yn hides her reddened cheeks against him, only causing him to laugh at her bashfulness. the boy moves his arms, reaching over to fish her head out of his side. his middle and pointer fingers pressed below her chin as his thumb grazed over her chin and her lips. her lips that remained rosy and plump from the strawberry scented lip scrub she had done the night before.
“you're so pretty, darling” taesan says, tucking some of the loose strands of her hair behind her ear and cupping one side of her face lovingly. she smiles and giggles as he continues to shower her with a billion more compliments.
their laughs come to a halt as he stops and stares deeply into her large eyes. and then finally, after the long wait, the pair leans in for a passionate and loving kiss.
it lasts a while, their noses bumping against each other as they did so. stopping only when they both ran short of breath. yn looks up to see her boyfriend staring at her once again. except this time, there was something different about his eyes.
“what's up?”
her question is ignored as the boy moves to hover his body over her smaller one. he leans in to press a sensual and sloppy kiss against her neck and then whispers into her ear.
“what time do you have to be at the company today?”
she sighs before even thinking of a response, “like…at nine thir-”
that was all he needed to hear before cutting her off with yet another kiss. her hands instinctively went up to wrap around his neck, the both of them moving in sync to get into a more comfortable position. taesan's teeth dug into her bottom lip, inflicting a gasp from her and his tongue slipped right in. the so-called loving kiss was more of a sloppy make-out session now as his hand went down to run all over her body.
the otherwise silent room was soon met with the sounds of flesh, sweat, and their awfully hidden sounds of love. the clothes they had on, now discarded somewhere on the floors of her bedroom and their slumberful innocence long gone as their bodies danced through young lust against her bed-sheets.
౨ৎ 8.30 am
“ugh” taesan sighs, slumping back down onto the bed. yn does the same, using the strength she had left to roll into his bare chest. his arm came to wrap around her figure, hand stroking her hair as the couple started to catch their breaths.
“mm, i've missed you” she smiles, satisfied with how her morning had been spent. he chuckles in agreement before letting out an exhausted yawn. yn reaches her arm out to grab her phone, unlocking it to check on her notifications. in the process she is hit with the sense of time, sighing in annoyance as she tosses her phone away to her side and then looking up at him.
“i have to get ready and go to the company soon” she mumbles, words muffled up against the blanket as she curls back inside its comfortable embrace. taesan groans, caging her dramatically into his arms once more. “can't you get in a little late today?” he almost pleads, pressing kisses against her shoulders. “hm…” he shoots her a dumb pair of puppy-dog eyes in an attempt to win her over.
and usually it didn't work but...
“fuck it, i'm sure manager-nim will understand”
౨ৎ 9.56

Caught in a bind.

It was only one time and Satoru takes things much further then they should have.
Suguru Geto x Fem! reader x Satoru Gojo Mentions of one night stand,Manipulation,Coercion,Blackmailing,Drugging implied but not confirmed,Descriptions of violence
<<< For more Satoru/Suguru content, click this link to go back to the Masterlist! >>>
“It would be real awkward if Suguru found out that we fucked.” Satoru’s grin when he had said those words to you was something out of a horror story.
You knew you’d fucked up when you met him for the second time after meeting Suguru and beginning a relationship there. It took some time, and in that time Satoru grew overly familiar with you, however it was subtle to your boyfriend.
Of course you didn’t know he knew Satoru at the time you both met at that bar. So surreal in a small world. At first, before you realised who the man was, you suspected and questioned why this guy who claimed to be his best friend seemed to be hitting on you.
Satoru came to you shortly after and confessed that he was in love with you. After only sleeping together once at a party well over a year ago before Suguru even came into your life.
With that being said, his words were not the threats he thought they were. As soon as you realised who he was, you went straight to Suguru and told him, up front and honest.
Naturally he was unsure at first. “He’s my best friend, I don’t want things to be weird.”
It wasn’t weird for you and you assured him it wouldn’t cause a rift your end. You didn’t remember too much of the party and there was no point in dwelling on it. You did admit it took a hot minute to remember Satoru’s face because wasn’t too much of the encounter that you did remember. An awful blur to which you didn’t even recall drinking that much.
And that was the truth in full.
Satoru didn’t seem to see it that way. And in a fucked up way, he began to make the rift Suguru was so anxious about, and you worked like a dog to prevent the cracks from showing which in turn made your daily life a wreck.
You just wanted Suguru to be happy and have nothing to worry about the car wreck of his friend trying to manipulate you. But you opted for coming clean to your boyfriend and set the record straight and move on, no matter the consequences.
You couldn’t be in a relationship stressing over someone else, it was not fair and not at all right for Suguru.
If he dumped you, the status quo still stood. Stay the hell away from Satoru Gojo.
“Hey, I got your text, are you alright?” Suguru was clearly worried, never taking a second to pause and look at you before he came through the front door.
“Y-yeah, I think we need to talk about something that’s been bothering me and it’s time we spoke about it.”
“If it’s something I’ve done, I apologise-“
“No, no, no! Nothing like that- you’re amazing.” Holding your arms up in surrender, you realised how grave you made your dramatic little announcement.
“It’s about Satoru actually…” Shit. Suguru followed you into the living room, you didn’t sit down it wasn't possible, tucking your hair behind your ears only served as a temporary comfort. “He’s uh…”
You thought of the countless ways you could break this horrid information to him, positive, abrupt. And standing here with Suguru in the room was an entirely different can of worms to open.
“If it’s because you two before us it’s alright, I’m past all that.” Suguru took your hands and held them in his. His warmth settled your stomach if only for a second. “It kind of bothered be at first, but I trust you both and I’m secure enough to leave it in the past.”
“It isn’t that. It’s what came after that, Satoru is… he’s…” May as well come out and say it. “Babe, he’s fucking crazy.”
He took a step back with a confused chuckle. “What? What’s he done now?”
“It’s not what he did, it’s what he’s doing.” Your phone, it was the key and your fingers tapped away the passcode on the screen.
“What has he been doing then? I mean Satoru’s always been a little unorthodox but crazy?”
“I have evidence, it’s better if you hear it.” It took a while and you had as about as much stealth as a sloth in a low tree. But you learned.
“Evidence? Hun, what’s going on?” His was serious now, his hand didn’t leave your free one.
“He’s been trying to blackmail me, threatened to make things up and lie if I didn’t break up with you.”
That was the hardest part, you remembered that one particular threat at a house party a few weeks back. He’d cornered you in the bathroom and did his usual bullshit.
The door to the bathroom you came into opened and closed, you expected it to be Suguru.
It was Satoru and you remembered clearly that he asked yet again your thoughts on the two of you like there was something going on.
So you started the recording.
“Get out of here seriously, my answer is no, it was one time and it wasn’t even that memorable.” Suguru was in the same fucking house, Satoru blundered in here so brazen and too foolish.
He didn’t react to your bitterness, a quick flash of a smile and folded arms leant up against the closed door. “Break up with him.”
“What?” Someone might have heard that had the music not been blaring.
“I said break up with him, you’re too good for him. If you don’t then I can do it for you if that’s easier?”
“What did you say?” Had you heard that right? He really was that delusional.
“You do it, or I’ll do it.”
You didn’t react too well to demands. “Or what?”
“You’ve only been with him, what, not even a year? Do you really think he’d believe you over me? I’ve known Suguru since we were kids.”
You managed to get most of it backed up on your phone, whenever Satoru was around your thumb anxiously hovered over the record button. Like watching over your shoulder every night walking home on your own. A sneaky bastard in his own right.
Suguru had his eyes closed, sat down in the arm chair and listened to that recording, brows knitted and dipped so close to each other. This was hurting him and there wasn’t a thing you could do about it, your future together in his hands so vulnerable.
You would never expect him to take this easy, hearing someone he cared for so dearly speak that way. There was plenty more but you didn’t push for him to hear it yet, that depended on what he wanted, he was probably going to break up with you soon enough.
“Why didn’t you tell me sooner?” Sadness.
Like Suguru was going to believe his girlfriend of barely a year verses his friend of over two decades? You worked tirelessly to gather evidence and recordings to show him so that it was concrete. It was paramount that the recordings were concrete.
Whatever Suguru did after that was entirely his prerogative no matter how heartbreaking. “I needed something to show you, I didn’t think you’d believe me just like he said. I’m sorry I didn’t say anything I just…”
It seemed like you were digging yourself a hole, choking on words and Suguru said nothing to put it to rest. He said nothing at all. “It’s all- I don’t know why- please say something.”
“Suguru… babe, please say anything-“ There was a knock at the front door. You didn’t want to leave him sat there. Ignoring it would eventually make them go away so you hoped.
It continued, more frantically subtle than before causing your stomach to tipple. “Who could that be?”
“It’s probably Satoru…”
“Sato-“ His name froze you up. “Why- why would he come here?”
Suguru sat vacant and staring through the wall to the next room. “I was on the phone to him when you text. Told him I was meeting you first before we went out. We had reservations for dinner.”
“Right… okay I’ll sort it- I’ll get it sorted. Wait here.”
Walking to the door felt like a prison walk, like the ones you’d seen in movies. Long, slowmotion, dramatised to emphasise on the depressive view. It was just like that.
The living room door was shut, the front door opened forcefully, the latch almost catching your nail and pulling on it. “Hey, I didn’t see Suguru’s car in the street, has he gone?”
Satoru waded in like he owned the place, head turning from side to side, paranoid and edgy past each door looking. “Don’t just barge in here Satoru- wait what are you doing?”
He paced as an animal, a lion from the zoo you’d seen as a child. “Did you finally do it? You break up with him?”
“No I did not, are you out of your mind? Get out of my house.” He didn’t move no matter how hard you pushed him away. “This has to stop.”
“You didn’t?” That was dark. “I told you to break up with him. Why the haven’t you done it yet?”
“Don’t come into my house and demand from me, do you know how much damage you’ve done being the way you’re acting? It was one night which I regret immensely. You think you’re so special don’t you? Parading around like you’re so irresistible. I’m not interested, you’re delusional-“
“I’m delusional?” There was fire behind Satoru’s eyes, so hot it radiated through his fingers, pinching your arms to grab you. “You look at me differently, I know you want me; you’re just fooling yourself because Suguru’s holding you back-“
“Get off of me- get-“ You struggled in the trap, the more you squirmed the tighter his grip. “I said get off me!”
“Satoru you son of a bitch!” A fist straight to his jaw, pounding out of the open living room door.
You hadn’t noticed him, now he was right in front of you bounding straight through Satoru sending him to the floor.
“Ever put your hands on her again, you aren’t going to like where this goes Satoru… get up and get out.”
The long pause lasted a lifetime. Satoru’s chuckle grew in size and volume, so poisonous. He didn’t move from the floor, he just sat there, hands pressed behind him to prop himself up. “What did she tell you Suguru? If you have this reaction I’m guessing not the whole truth.” The fucker was already trying to smooth talk his way out of it.
“I told him everything. Just go Satoru, please just leave.”
After the first punch, Suguru appeared calm, hands on his hips as close to him as his eyes were on his friend. “What gives you any right to harass anyone? You’re my friend, why would you do this to someone I care very much about? I don’t get it.”
“I love her man.”
Suguru stood over him with his fists clenched, knuckles white and his breathing laid laboured. If he was going to snap which was very unlike him, it was going to be explosive. Something you didn’t want happening in your house.
The front door was open in time by a fraction before the two men bouldered through and over the threshold, rolling around and scrambling on each other and yelling obscenities in the street.
In anger it supposedly brought out some home truths apparently.
“She’s the girl I wanted to marry eventually Satoru!”
“I liked her way before you Suguru, even before the party. I’ve liked her for years!”
“How could you hurt someone I care about?!”
The display was almost childish, neighbours came out to spectate the sport, upturned grass and churned dirt, peaked emotions and gritted teeth. They would talk and spread rumours and to be honest you wanted to deny you knew either of them.
You’d never seen this odd side of your boyfriend when he was always so docile, placid. This was unbelievable had it not been for the undertones of pure vitriol in their words.
And Satoru managed to get the upper hand. He drew blood and carried on punching and throwing hits to Suguru’s face. You ran to his side as quickly as you could, the neighbours be damned. “Satoru, stop! Stop it; leave him alone, you’ll kill him!” He didn’t move, just his shirt did and you ripped it trying to pull him off.
Suguru wanted to marry you and you couldn’t just stand there and let him get hurt like this. He wanted to marry you. Despite all of… this.
Satoru kept at it. Hit after hit, punch and silence in the sunset of the evening light. “That’s kind of the point!”
“Stop it!” That wasn’t Satoru Gojo who grinned at you, it was a monster.
At least there were sirens in the distance, maybe that was the saving grace to set everything back to normality. Well as much normality that could come out of it. Which wasn’t much.

white mercedes!
he’ll always be here when you eventually come back
itoshi rin x reader: toxic dependent rs LOL + on and off rs, inspired by charli’s song, angst(?) but you get back tgt, both pov!, not proofread + likes n reblogs r appreciated! <3
its a cycle - a cycle that rin has grown too fond of, too familiar of, too used to. of course, he knows its unhealthy, not that anyone tells him, its a secret he’ll keep deep in his heart. he tells himself, its just familiarity - the way your face buries in his chest, hands tugging at his shirt for comfort that he swear as makes his heart swell up, the way your name rolls off his tongue so perfectly like it was meant to be, the way you always come back no matter what. its meant to be in its own sick ways, and it gives him a sick feeling that thrums against his heart when you inevitably come back - as if you know you’ll be his no matter what.
he thinks he can forget everything when you ring him up after another bad ending to a date or relationship (he prays to no one in particular for it to end each and every time, cursing them too), when you come back home to his familiar apartment that you know the passcode and have the keys to in your bag at all times, when you melt yourself against him, fitting with him like a puzzle piece. he can forget the way you practically ripped his heart out with your bare hands when you tell him the inevitable words: “lets break up”, he can forget the way he swears the world turns black with puzzle pieces with the way his ears and ringing and his head throbs, he can forget the way you look at him like he’s nothing, like he’s just temporary, a toy to you when you feel a little lonely, when things don’t go your way. he can forget that he’s just temporary comfort in your arms, forget that you don’t love him the way he loves you, forget that you’ll be gone and in love with everyone else but him he swears. he can forget that your lips had touch someone else’s just hours ago, he can forget your hands had lingered and roamed someone else’s before, he can forget that you don’t only look at him with that look in your eye that he wishes to keep in his own museum of memories. he thinks he can forget all the hurt you put him through when youre together - forget the emptiness in his heart when you go to another party, find someone else, and be anywhere else without him that now feels full with your touch that practically feels like a drug to rin., forget the tears that streams down his face and stains his face that your fingers trace so softly as though an apology when you stop texting back, a reflection of you being busy with someone else yet again, forget the sleepless nights wondering where you are now that youre right beside him on his bed.
but deep down, he hopes tonight, you’ll stay a little longer. more than just what he should expect now - more than just warming his bed and his heart and his body, more than just another temporary comfort where you’ll be gone tomorrow morning or night, more than what he knows you’ll ever be able to give him. maybe each and every time he lets you stay - its his confession in his own way, of unsaid “i love yous” that he knows wont be reciprocated by the end of the week, of unsaid wishes of you staying by him for the rest of his life even in this twisted way that he loses more and more hope of every cycle, of unsaid pleadings for you to just stay with him in his world. but he knows too, that by the end of tonight, he’ll drive you to work, and your replies will slow down, and he’ll be left all alone in his apartment by the end of tomorrows night - or even if he’s lucky, he knows its inevitable, a month of loving you and being yours before the house of cards comes crashing down and all he’s left alone are the ashes of you and him: all alone in his room that he can still practically see the ghost of, feel the phantom touches of yours that he swears is imprinted on his body, lying in the gory mess of his guts all thrown up and ripped out of him when you inevitably say your goodbyes. yet, he keeps opening that damn door whenever it rings with that familiar tune, accepting those cursed phone calls that restarts the cycle, giving you his already scratched up and bruised heart for you to make a mess even more. its love - letting you step all over him without a single word and still letting you do it for the rest of his life until one day you’ll grow tired of this comfort (he hopes you never will, its the only thing he can offer after all). its love - letting you stay over and mess up his life, leave him with bruises on his neck and hands with your kisses and bites that he’s always so mesmerised by, as though youre letting it known that he belongs to you (even if he doesn’t because you end up leaving). its love - letting you run away each time and still letting you come back without any hesitation even if logically he should (because the pain is worth the warmth you always give him whenever you come back).
and you don’t want to admit that its love you feel for him - its fear you feel when your heart inevitably only beats a little faster when youre with him, its anxiety you blame it on when your stomach pools with butterflies when youre in his arms, and its guilt you feel when you inevitably run away again. love is overwhelming - being with him is too much, you don’t feel that sensation that practically brings you to that high, not with alcohol, not with partying, not with anyone else. its strange, the first time you feel it with him, and you don’t want to admit that its love - as though its forbidden (everyone with a mind begs you to just stay with him), as though its one-sided (you know it isn’t, you know he loves you too: he tells you and its pain that courses through your whole body), as though it was never meant to be (only because youre too scared to stay).
its not love, you tell yourself, when you inevitably come back to his apartment that you’ve memorised the address and route to from work, from the club, from anyone else’s house you just don’t feel at home with. its not love, you tell yourself too, when you go out with everyone else but him, your heart hurting as though its conveying to you its wrong, its wrong to be with anyone else other than itoshi rin. and its not love, when you spend the night looking at his face that you try to memorise every curve, every line, every bit of it before you inevitably have to leave, when you spend the night awake breathing in his warm and familiar scent that almost lulls you to sleep if not for your dedication, when you spend the night awake loathing the fact youre going to leave the next morning.
deep down, you know you can stay - its what rin wants underneath all the walls he’s built sky high that he lets collapse when youre with him, its what rin wants when he lets you in each and every single time no matter what time it is, when he lets his fingers and gaze linger a little too long for it to be deniable anymore. and you should - he always has your favourite snack stacked up almost as if trying to appeal to you even though he follows a strict diet for his career, always have your shirts and pants all neatly folded in the closet when you come back, always have your side of the bed neatly arranged, your figure practically already imprinted on it.
and its fear that grips at your heart when it just feels so right. you know you’ll mess it up, not that you haven’t millions of time when you already have him at the palm of your hand. you know youre no good, the first break up was a clear reflection - in your mind, its bloody, gory and messy, the hearts of you and him strewn onto the grown, soaked with tears and black blood that still paints your memories. yet, you two keep finding each other, as though magnetised by some sort of twisted fate that wont let him escape your sick love. you end up always at his place anyways - after a bad breakup with some nobody whos face is blurry and hazy in your mind as you look at rin’s, after a night out that leaves you throwing up your bloody black and red guts into his toilet as he rubs your back so gently, a complete contrast to the way youre violently throwing up, after another date that sees through your disinterest and leaves you right in the rain that rin somehow fights through with an umbrella to shield you from the rain and maybe from the world too, your hands holding his shakily as though hes the one who will inevitably disappear on you.
but today, it just seems so different - his touch on you feels fleeting, as if hes already ready to let go, his eyes seems a little more watery than usual as though hes only counting down to your eventual farewell, his familiar bracelets that matches with you nowhere to be tugged at when you intertwine your hands with his as though you two are no longer together. you think it just might be over - its inevitable, of course hes sick of this stupid cycle you cant help but continue each and every time to feel safe and secure, of course hes lost feelings now that hes seen the real you, of course hes tired of you who has done thing but leave after youve gotten your way. and you want to say its alright: because youve never loved him the way he should, because you cant be what he wants, because its not love you were made for. and yet, youre selfish, god you know you are: when you come back each and everytime and melt into rin’s arm thst is deserving of so much more, when you leave even when you see the tear stains on his face and shaky voice memos he leaves you wishing you to be nothing but safe, when you repeat the cycle.
“rin… y-youll always be here right?” you hate how your voice shakes, your feelings unintentionally boiling and spilling over more than it should ever, you hate how vulnerable you sound whenever youre with him because deep down you feel safe and yourself with him that you dont with anyone else, you hate how youre asking for confirmation from him, because you know he’ll say the same thing each and every time.
“of course.” and rin hates how he will never change the answer to the inevitable question because he loves you and always will, hates how he can never leave this twisted grip that feels like thorns in him whenever he holds you that pricks at his heart and lungs, hates how he feels you might be slipping away from him with the way you hesitate yet again, restarting the cycle that he loathes and wish nothing but to leave on some days.
“… rin. let me stay, more than just tonight.”
you know its selfish, to trap him in the twisted thorns of your love, to keep him withh you away from the rest of the world, to make it official only to end it again inevitably when you yourself get terrified of the same thorns that claw at you the same way it claws at rin that he never minded. its selfish to promise to stay, to be his soulmate again, to be his again at all when you know deep down youll leave - simply because you feel him leaving, because you feel hes getting tired of it, because you know he deserves better.
and yet, you dont miss the way rin’s eyes seem to light up from its earlier dull look that pains you from the thought of him crying over you, dont miss the way he unconsciously tugs at your shirt, clinging closer to you with the reassurance, dont miss the way he lets out a breath that he has held this whole time. and you know deep down, he’ll always let you stay: even when you leave again, even when you dont stay, even you keep breaking his heart. and in a twisted way, you love it: because it means he loves you too even if you cant bear to tell or show it in fear, because means that he wont get tired of you to be the one who leaves, because it means youll always have him forever one day when you put your fear aside and embrace him the same way you do now.
and rin doesnt miss the way your voice seems so afraid and shaky when you ask of him as though youll ever be afraid of him saying no, doesnt miss the way your eyes too light up even with those dark eyes circle that he wishes to fix when he takes you back in again, doesnt miss the way you bury your face in his chest either when he says yes to you being his again. and he loves it: because it means you love him too even if you keep running away for god knows why, because it means one day youll stay forever in his embrace, because it means youll deep down never be sick of him with the way you always come back into his arms.
maybe youll go back on your promise, maybe you wont - but for tonight: youre rins, and rins all yours.

[Shelldon quietly enters the lab, inputting Don’s temporary code and closing the door behind him. Dee was very clear about not letting anyone else know the code and not letting anyone else see him go in. Which is fine, whatever, he guesses it’s, like, reasonable to be a little cautious with the whole Bishop-thing-plus-Dee-being-out-of-commission-plus-Aunt-Toby-being-injured-plus-Nova-being-
He quickly puts a stop to that train of thought, aggressively busying his mind with his given task instead.
The vault door needs a different passcode, another temporary one Dee gave him (which is, again, probably fair. He did technically steal from here, which was still the right decision-), but opens with no fuss, and Shelldon brings the tray of food scraps out of his storage compartment.
He moves slowly through the vault, eyeing the caged animals he’d swiftly avoided last time he was in here. The mechanical arms work to drop scraps of the food through the bars, yanking back before they could get caught.
But before he gets halfway through, something catches his eye from the far end of the vault; a much much larger cage set apart from the rest of them, and-]
Wait-
NOVA?
[He drops the tray, zipping over to her cage and hovering at eye level - he sounds terrified. But maybe not on his behalf.]

Take Control of Your Privacy: Smart Tips for Using a Burner Phone
A burner phone can be an excellent tool for protecting your privacy, managing specific tasks, or staying secure while traveling. Whether you're using it for business, temporary communication, or personal safety, a burner phone helps you stay in control. Here’s how to use it effectively and responsibly.
Understand the Purpose of a Burner Phone
A burner phone is a prepaid mobile phone intended for short-term or anonymous use. It’s ideal for situations where you want to keep your primary number private or need a secondary device. People use burner phones for various valid reasons such as online selling, travel, and temporary projects.
Choose a Simple and Functional Device
You don’t need an expensive smartphone. Select a basic mobile phone that allows calling and texting. These phones are usually affordable and widely available at retail stores and online.
Use a Prepaid SIM Card
Prepaid SIM cards are flexible and don’t require contracts. They give you full control over your spending and help keep your identity unlinked. You can easily find these cards in many convenience stores or online shops.
Avoid Linking Personal Information
To maintain privacy, avoid signing into personal accounts on your burner phone. Don’t connect your main email, social media, or cloud storage. Keep it clean and focused on one task or purpose.
Stick to One Purpose
Burner phones work best when used for a specific reason. Whether it’s a temporary job, an online transaction, or travel, limiting the phone’s use helps you stay organized and secure.
Keep the Phone Secure
Even though it’s a temporary device, treat your burner phone with care. Store it in a safe place when not in use. Set a passcode to prevent unauthorized access and avoid leaving it unattended in public places.
Manage Contacts Carefully
Add only the contacts necessary for the phone’s specific use. Avoid syncing your full contact list, and don’t store sensitive information unless absolutely necessary.
Power Off When Not in Use
To limit unnecessary tracking or data use, turn off your burner phone when you’re not using it. This also conserves battery and keeps the device available when needed.
Dispose of the Phone Properly
When you're finished with the phone, erase all data, remove the SIM card, and dispose of the device responsibly. Many recycling programs accept used electronics, ensuring they don’t harm the environment.
Follow the Law
Always use burner phones for legal and ethical purposes. They’re helpful tools when used responsibly, and respecting privacy laws ensures a positive experience for everyone.

We'll Fix It Together
“What the shit are you doing?” “Trust me.” Trust me. Mobius couldn’t believe what he was hearing. Loki was spiraling yet he continued pretending like everything was fine. Mobius knew better. Something was going on that Loki wasn’t telling him and Mobius was going to find out what. Or, a story in which Loki and Mobius work together to find a solution to save the multiverse and everyone in it.
Words: 4,726
Rating: T
Tags: Loki (TV) Season 2 Spoilers, Fix-It, Angst with a Happy Ending, Whump, Loki Needs a Hug (Marvel), Loki Gets a Hug (Marvel), Emotional Hurt/Comfort, Happy Ending, Temporary Character Death, Time Loop, Mobius figures out what's going on, power of friendship saves the day, everyone gets their happily ever after
Mobius M Mobius had learned long ago to expect the unexpected with Loki. He was a god of seemingly never-ending talents but there was one talent Mobius was sure Loki didn’t possess. Loki was not a theoretical physicist. At least he hadn’t been two minutes ago.
“But, Loki,” OB began as they entered the Temporal Loom’s observation deck “Even with Victor’s Throughput Multiplier, the rate of timeline expansion is too-”
“It’s not too expansive,” Loki interjected, answering OB’s question before the technician even had a chance to ask it. “Now that we’ve added the Lorentz device, we’ll be able to match the vacuum expectation values of the Loom, thus lowering the Timelines speed of expansion to near zero.”
“But that’s-”
“Impossible? It’s not. See, the device will allow the Timelines to fluctuate at their lowest energy state, retaining their vibrational motion which– in turn– allows us to stay ahead of the curve, expanding the Loom’s capacity before the expansion rate exceeds the output. It was a brilliant idea, OB, brilliant! Amazing work. It’s going to work this time, I know it.”
This time?
The god continued chattering away, speaking a thousand words a minute and Mobius narrowed his eyes. He’d seen Loki excitable but this was another level. Loki’s shoulders were tense, his breathing quick, and his eyes were bright with what could only be described as manic exhaustion.
Something was off.
“Now, Victor,” Loki exclaimed. “I need you to reroute all the energy from Operations to here, there’s a book of passcodes in the drawer to your right. And- Casey! Casey, what are you doing standing over there? You’re supposed to be next to OB. You know what, doesn’t matter, I need you to-”
Loki was moving too fast. He needed to breathe.
“Loki,” Mobius murmured. He stepped between Loki and Casey, putting a hand on the god’s chest, hoping to still him.
“Casey,” Loki continued, stepping around Mobius and politely shoving aside his hand, “we need to widen the voltage input and invert the temporal decay.”
“What about the ion decoupler?” OB asked.
“It’s fine. We’re gonna route it directly with the primary compartment.”
“Won’t it overheat?”
“No, it's not going to overheat ‘cause we’re going to allow it to interface with Timely’s adaptive exponential computing system. Those upgrades will allow the Loom to scale the capacity to manage the branches. The rings,” Loki made a circle with his hands, “the rings are too small, we’re gonna make them bigger. Let’s go!”
Mobius shook his head in disbelief. When had Loki learned all of this? His knowledge of mechanical engineering was on parr with OB’s now.
“Better watch out OB,” Mobius crooned, “looks like someone’s-”
“Someone’s coming for your job! That’s right. OB, watch your back!” Loki finished mockingly like this wasn’t the first time he’d heard Mobius make that joke. He let out a hysterical chuckle.
What. The. Fuck. Something was off. Something was wrong. And Mobius needed to figure out what.
“Casey,” Loki exclaimed, “get the multiplier down to Timely as fast as you can and-”
Mobius grabbed Loki by the lapel of his jacket and yanked the god around.
“What the shit are you doing?” Mobius seethed.
“Trust me,” Loki quipped.
Trust me. Mobius couldn’t believe what he was hearing. Loki was spiraling. There was something going on that he wasn’t telling him and needed to let Mobius in; he needed to explain what the hell was going on. Mobius kept his hands clutched firmly on Loki’s jacket.
“No.”
“I know what I’m doing.”
“No.”
“Watch.”
Loki turned back to the computer and entered in a code he definitely hadn’t known earlier that day. A chill crept through Mobius as the pieces started coming together.
“Casey,” Loki suddenly barked into the intercom. “Don’t forget to latch his helmet. Latch. His. Helmet. Okay…” Loki wiped at a bead of sweat on his brow with a trembling hand. “And now we reconfigure the locking mechanism– can’t forget to do that again. Alright. Measurements look good. Dock secure. Yes, here we go. It’s gonna work this time.”
This time. There was that phrase again.
Mobius’ heart plummeted to his shoes with a sickening realization. Suddenly, everything made sense: Loki’s timeslipping, his frantic mood, the eerie way he was able to anticipate everybody’s questions before they had a chance to ask them.
Casey came up from the loading dock. “Mr. Timely’s ready.”
“I know.”
I know.
This wasn’t the first time Loki had lived this moment.
Loki moved back to the keyboard.
“Access denied,” a computerized voice sounded overhead. “Password required.”
The only question was how many times had Loki lived this moment.
Mobius put a hand over Loki’s before the god could finish typing in the password. “Loki.”
“Mobius?” Loki flinched. “What are you-”
“Stop.”

Headcanons:
Andrew Minyard
Andrew’s favorite color is not black. It’s blue/green but he never told anyone and let the assumption grow because in his mind, even that small amount of happiness would be taken if he admitted it.
I think the reason Andrew is so protective of Aaron isn’t just because he is his brother and he couldn’t protect him but also that his definition of brother differs from the normal. He sees it as “Protect. Save. Take care of.” And since he didn’t have any stable and emotionally available role models for those kinds of relationships, he is using what he knows to accomplish those meanings.
^ The deal he made with Aaron was NOT to control him but to ensure he isn’t taken advantage of by friends because his history of abuse. If he doesn’t have friends, he can’t be taken advantage of.
^^ The issue Aaron had with Katelyn stemmed specifically from their mother. Since Aaron was abused by her most of his childhood, he was afraid they’d get into the exact same relationship but romantically and we know how Andrew reacts when he’s afraid.
When Neil becomes team captain, he and Andrew kinda take in the newer classes’ Exy players. Neil is the protective and sometimes unhinged silly father while Andrew is the caring but emotionally unavailable one.
^ I also think one of the younger class’ players would get back to the dorm late and he would be standing right inside the door scaring the shit out of them deadpanning a “where’ve you been?”
^^ He also enforces that all triggers for the team be averted during practice and casual hang outs for everyone. (He threw a sandal at one of them that he pulled directly from his foot during movie night once after someone made a joke that had a “not normal” trigger in it for one of the other team mates)
Andrew is very specific about his ice cream texture. He likes all sweets for the most part but his ice cream has to be a specific texture.
^ He HATES carnival peanuts and orange slices (the candy). The texture is not a vibe and he would rather stab himself SEVERAL times.
He loves sudoko, puzzles, and logic games. His favorite are 3d puzzles that you stack the pieces to make. He had a lot of every puzzle and logic puzzle and how long it took him to beat or do it successfully.
^ Those metal fidget puzzles? He has HUNDREDS.
^^ He gives one to Neil every so often and would watch him try and figure it out. If Neil didn’t get it and asked, he’d explain. If Neil did get it, it was usually within minutes and he’d sit it in front of Andrew with a triumphant cocky grin.
His first mention of anything Drake did to him was actually in a fit of anger when Nicky got really depressed with guilt about thanksgiving.
(If he had a modern phone) His phone passcode is the day Nicky got custody. When he and Neil became dating “but not dating”, he changed it to the day he hit him with an Exy racquet.
^ When asked he’d say “the first time I took Neil’s breath away” and everyone assumed he meant the first time they fucked or something and not question it anymore. Kevin would be the only one to know but he wasn’t gonna mention he remembered that day.
His favorite animal is a deer. He likes how elegant looking does look and feels a sense of connection with him since he technically was one (by temporary last name).
His favorite number is 88. I have no reason. It just is.
He does art sometimes because Bee suggested an outlet and since he has eidetic memory, he’s able to draw pretty realistic things.
^ He keeps these locked in a desk. Nobody knows even Neil. (Who one day accidentally stumbles upon a loose drawing Andrew forgot to put up of a bird- drawn because he was stressed and wanted to leave. When he asked Andrew who drew it for him, he said he did. Neil has a new binder that is full of drawings Andrew did.)
Andrew gets a Medusa tattoo on either his shoulder blade or forearm. He’s grateful the artist didn’t ask him if he knew the meaning and left a large tip for just that with no explanation. Explanation for the tattoo, not needed.
^ He’d keep it simple and put Medusa’s head (or a graphic of it) inside a circle or some other shape because he likes to signify it’s a part of him but it’s encased in the past and he can’t change it.
He thinks about the stupid shit he laughed at and/or said while medicated and cringe sometimes. (“bee being bee”)
He is actually good at debates. Especially if he does his research on it first and will tear apart anyone he debates ANYTHING with.
^ The DEFINITION of “if I talk long enough, I can make anything right or wrong”
He doesn’t associate with Christianity or Christians but he does grow a sense of spirituality after college. He thinks that nature and sacrifice is worth appreciating and honor and although he doesn’t have a set religion or practices, he goes out for walks in the woods often and sits there sometimes to just thank nature for remaining pure and I corrupt like humanity.
^ (-kinda) After college, he starts meditating. Not like an internal analysis thing but he’d imagine his breathing being the world around him and he’d use this to relax and be calm for a while and to escape his life.
He isn’t one of Bee’s clients after college, but they still have calls where Andrew can use her as a therapist if he needs. If not, it’s just a catch up call on life.
He gets better but not in a “I don’t deal with that anymore” way but a “I deal with that every second of every day and I am this close 🤏 to stabbing everyone in the room so I am leaving (and going to mediate or stab a brick if Neil doesn’t give me something to focus on).” (He learns what tells his body gives him and what he needs to do to fix the issue based on the level of those tells.)
He had a journal that is locked in a locked box in a safe (with Neil’s art binder ) and he uses this to right down things he notices when he’s trying to figure out someone’s motives or way of thinking and has EXCEPTIONAL pattern recognition so he’d get it done pretty quick.
He gets a psychiatrist service animal.
^ He gets a dog because he decided that Sir and King are emotional support animals not his service animals because they are older and would be harder to train. He also wanted to differentiate between his psa and animals that benefit both him and Neil.
^^ His psa is trained for panic attacks, dissociating, anger management, and other things. His psa will help Neil out sometimes as well but knows his job is to take care of Andrew because Neil HAS Andrew.
^^^ Andrew got the psa because he doesn’t want to burden Neil with EVERYTHING. Or become co-dependent.
^^^^ He gets a stereotypically “aggressive breed” of dog for a psa. (Pit Bull, Boxers, etc)
I have so many more. Someone please send help. I need just one (ONE! - 1 singular day without thinking of this man)
#say you’re and Andrew Minyard kin without saying your an Andrew Minyard kin#all for the game#Andrew Minyard#Neil Josten#Kevin day#nicky hemmick#andrew Minyard headcanons

I read the transcripts of the podcast and boy is her ex psycho. Here’s a summary of when things started to go wrong:
Made snide joking comments like that she should get a nose job. Tells her that he likes her hair straight instead of curly - gets upset when her hair’s in curls. He didn’t celebrate things that mattered to her like family events, her getting her real estate license, holidays, etc.
He began to raise his voice and yell at her in public, leaving her at places.
He was prescribed adderall while taking testosterone steroid concoction (which he began taking after it was recommended by his personal trainer, he made her inject his butt). He later starts taking xanax.
While she’s on a girls trip, he’s seen with a known sex worker courtside of a basketball game (not sure if it’s the same one as below - I wasn’t paying attention lmao). She later finds out that he cheated on her for months with a sex worker who messaged her (not from a good place, trying to get her to break up with him so that she could date him).
The same sex worker would tag her in stuff and talk about her on Instagram live with her followers, send vulgar messages to her sisters and mom, anybody she posted with. Went on a mission to make him and her look bad.
He goes into a rage in their Paris hotel room, completely destroying it and her clothes are everywhere.
During their Mexico trip, he’s no where to be found on the beach after her and her friends go jet skiing. She finds out he was arrested and in a cop car (bloody and shirtless) after assaulting jet ski conductors with a shovel. She later helps bail him out of the Mexican jail.
He wasn’t there to mourn the loss of her dad when she asked him (bought her a new car instead) - she voiced that she wanted him to be there.
She questioned if he was with another girl (her facialist told her), he gets into his car, she’s trying to talk to him - he kicks her in the stomach before he drives off.
When she confronts him about him cheating on her, he wrecked the house - swiping everything from the bathroom, vanities, desk, closets, etc. he starts throwing decorative geodes at her. he’s pulling everything artwork off the wall, throwing everything from closets out, ripping sconces off the wall, etc. She’s too scared to call the police because of his connections (she has security footage and her housekeeper was scared for her). She finally leaves the house.
He changed the passcode to the safe with her birth certificate and father’s ashes, made it clear that she wasn’t going to get it back (she ended up getting father’s ashes back later though).
One time when she goes back to visit her dog or whatever, he slaps her phone out of her hands, smashes it. Repeatedly kicks her over and over when she’s trying to get her stuff. Pushes her against the wall and chokes her. Tells her “you’re going to die tonight bitch”. She escapes, calls the police, and gets a domestic battery report with police, she had temporary restraining order. She was contacted by a LA city attorney who wanted to hear her story. The attorney told her he had previous assault charges. To get a permanent restraining order, she would have to go to court and testify. She was told by numerous people that he would do everything to try and discredit him in court.
One of the security guards that was on the team her hex hired messages her (thinking he’s writing directly to his ex) that he’s no longer interested in doing business after his behaviour during fashion week. She tells her ex’s former security guard that she left him because he harmed her and that they’re no longer in contact.
Sees that her ex is now following the person she’s casually seeing. It somehow gets back to her ex who sends his lawyers to tell her to stop spreading false defamatory statements about him, stop messaging people about him. Threatens to sue her.
The charges against her ex got dropped because she missed multiple court dates due to moving back to Arizona during the pandemic, nothing she can do now.
She decides to move to a new city. He gets a new place there too so she sees him around often. He won’t do anything but he’ll text her things like “why didn’t you say hi”. She’s in a new relationship. It’s hard for her to see him and his brand continue to grow and that people are admiring his hustle, business ethic, and story.
I’m missing some stuff about her ex’s mother and stuff like that but that’s most of it
I listened to it. The stuff with the exs mom was insane and weird, like that woman sounds like she has serious attachment issues.
What he did to her is absolutely fucked, nobody should ever have to go through what she went through. And it sounds like he does these things to every woman he is with, not just her. I hope karma gets him, and soon

Electronic Locks in Dubai – Security That Matches the City’s Intelligence | Euro Art
Electronic Locks in Dubai: When Your Door Lock Is Smarter Than Your Phone
In a city defined by innovation, luxury, and sky-piercing ambition, the simple act of locking a door has evolved into something far more intelligent. Electronic locks in Dubai are no longer luxury novelties—they’re the standard for smart security.
Forget keys. Forget outdated deadbolts. The modern Dubai residence demands more—remote access, biometric authentication, and design-led integration.
At Euro Art, we specialise in high-performance, aesthetically refined electronic locks built for how people in Dubai live, work, and move. In this blog, we take you inside the world of smart locking systems—and why more architects, developers, and homeowners are choosing electronic locks in Dubai that are just as elegant as they are secure.
Not Just Smart—Secure, Stylish, and Seamless
Electronic locks do more than open doors—they enable lifestyles. You control access from your phone, create passcodes for guests, and monitor activity in real-time. And with Euro Art, you don’t have to sacrifice beauty for brains.
Our curated collection of electronic locks blends:
Minimalist industrial design
Premium finishes: matte black, satin gold, brushed steel
Compatibility with wooden, metal, pivot, and frameless glass doors
Advanced access: fingerprint, keypad, RFID, app, and remote control
In short? They look like they belong in a Dubai penthouse. Because they do.
What Are Electronic Locks, Really?
Let’s demystify it.
Electronic locks are access control systems that replace or enhance traditional key locks with digital entry options. You’ll find them in:
Villas and luxury apartments
Offices and co-working spaces
Smart homes and hospitality projects
High-security commercial developments
These locks offer multiple modes of entry:
Biometric (fingerprint)
PIN code
RFID card/key fob
Mobile app (via Bluetooth or WiFi)
Mechanical override (as backup)
The DNA of a High-Performance Electronic Lock
What separates a premium lock from a flashy gadget? Engineering. Let’s break it down:
1. Design-Led Integration
The locks are slim. Flush. They complement the clean lines of modern architecture without disrupting the visual rhythm.
2. Multi-Layered Access
Euro Art locks allow multiple user types—owner, guest, temporary, and admin—so you can grant or revoke access instantly.
3. Built for Dubai’s Demands
From sandstorms to humidity, Dubai’s climate is unforgiving. Our locks are tested for UV resistance, moisture, electrical reliability, and corrosion.
Case Study: A Smart Villa in Jumeirah Bay
One of Dubai’s top design studios approached Euro Art for a seamless electronic locking solution for a beachfront villa. The challenge? Integrate access control without disrupting the minimalist interiors.
We installed:
Matte black biometric lever handles
Hidden Wi-Fi control module
Sync with existing home automation
Outcome? “No more keys. Guests get digital codes. The owner tracks everything from an app. And the design? Pure stealth.” – Architect, Jumeirah Bay Project
Trending: Dubai’s Most In-Demand Electronic Lock Features
Dubai’s homeowners and developers are looking beyond just smart—they want secure and sleek. Here’s what’s trending now:
Fingerprint + App Access: The gold standard for modern villas and apartments
Keypad with Hidden Backup: Discreet access with mechanical override
Remote Access via WiFi: Control who enters your home—wherever you are
Battery Backup + Tamper Alerts: Peace of mind, even during a power cut
Minimalist Finishes: Think matte black, satin brass, champagne gold
Design Meets Functionality: Smart Locks That Elevate Interiors
At Euro Art, we don’t treat locks as afterthoughts. We see them as architectural statements. Our locks integrate with:
Pivot and sliding doors
Frameless glass partitions
Smart home ecosystems (Google, Alexa, etc.)
Designer doors in custom finishes
Your smart lock should be as refined as your space. That’s why interior designers, architects, and developers across Dubai trust Euro Art.

Transform Your Kochi Home into a Smart Sanctuary: The Rise of Automation in Kerala

Kochi, with its bustling energy and modern aspirations, is rapidly embracing the future of living: home automation. Gone are the days of manually adjusting every light switch or worrying about forgotten doors. Today, a new era of intelligent living is dawning, with automation companies in Kochi at the forefront, offering seamless integration of technology to enhance comfort, convenience, and crucially, security.
Kerala, as a whole, is witnessing a significant shift towards smart homes. From the serene backwaters to the vibrant urban centers, homeowners are seeking sophisticated yet user-friendly solutions to manage their living spaces. This growing demand has fueled the emergence of specialized home automation companies in Kerala that understand the unique needs and preferences of the local populace.
Beyond Convenience: Elevating Home Security in the Digital Age
While the allure of voice-controlled lighting and automated curtains is undeniable, the core of a truly smart home lies in its security devices. In a world where peace of mind is priceless, integrating advanced security solutions is no longer a luxury but a necessity.

Revolutionize Your Home Security: The Ultimate Guide to Access Control Systems.
Let’s face it—home security is no longer just about locking the front door and hiding the spare key under the mat. Life has moved on. Technology has evolved. And if you live in a fast-moving city like New York or Brooklyn, you know how unpredictable things can get.
Imagine this: You’re at work, stuck in a meeting, and your younger brother calls. He reached your apartment early and forgot his key. Classic, right? Now what? With a smart Access Control System for your home, you can just tap your phone and unlock the door for him. That’s it—problem solved, no stress.
At Jacob Intercom, we help turn this kind of everyday drama into simple, secure solutions. Our goal is to make your life smoother and safer.

What Is an Access Control System for Your Home?
If you’re new to the concept, don’t worry. It’s not as complicated as it sounds. Think of an access control system as your new-age house key, but smarter. Instead of carrying physical keys, you control entry to your home using passcodes, fingerprint scanners, key cards, or even your smartphone.
These systems let you decide who enters your home, when, and how. Lost your key? No problem—just change the digital code. Expecting a friend to water your plants while you’re out of town? Send them a temporary access link. No need for copies or physical keys at all.
Why NYC Homeowners Are Switching to Access Control?
Living in a city that never sleeps also means keeping your home safe 24/7. More and more Brooklyn families are upgrading their old locks for digital access systems—and for good reason:
You’re in control: Give access to family members or revoke it from that one friend who never returns your things.
It’s safer: If someone loses their code or card, just delete it from the system.
It’s smarter: Use your phone to check who came in and when—even if you’re on vacation in another country.
It grows with you: Whether you add new family members or get a pet-sitter, your access system adjusts accordingly.
Jacob Intercom specializes in helping homeowners like you design and install these systems without overcomplicating things. You get modern security without tech headaches.

Features You’ll Actually Use
We don’t believe in giving you flashy gadgets you’ll never touch. Here’s what our systems typically include:
Keyless entry (because no one wants a bulky keychain)
Fingerprint and facial recognition (for VIP-level security)
Smartphone control (for remote access from anywhere)
Real-time alerts (know who entered and when)
Smart lock compatibility (link it with Alexa or Google Home)
It’s not just about locking doors. It’s about peace of mind.
How Do We Make It Affordable?
Let’s be honest—when people hear “smart home” or “digital lock,” they imagine dollar signs. But it doesn’t have to be that way. At Jacob Intercom, we work with all kinds of budgets. Whether you live in a cozy Brooklyn apartment or a larger townhouse, we’ll help you find something that fits your needs without burning a hole in your wallet.

Surveillance in 2025
1. The Tech: Surveillance Tools and Capabilities
a. Corporate Surveillance Powerhouses
Palantir Technologies is emblematic of the new era: a private company with government-scale surveillance reach.
Its data-mining and AI platforms aggregate massive datasets (tax, employment, social media, immigration, etc.) to predict and track individual and group behaviors.
Palantir’s tech is used by militaries (e.g., Israel in Gaza), police (predictive policing), and U.S. agencies (immigration enforcement, deportation tracking).
Stock market reflects confidence: Palantir’s value soared from $50B to almost $300B in a year.
b. Hardware Leaps: Cameras That See the World
China’s latest facial recognition camera can identify faces from 100 kilometers away, using advanced laser technology.
Such hardware can discern details as small as 1.7mm at extreme distances—near the resolution you’d expect from satellites.
Cities worldwide (e.g., Atlanta, London) are dense with cameras—often “private,” but authorities usually have access.
c. Infrastructure and Integration
Surveillance networks are increasingly interconnected: private security systems often feed into government databases.
New innovations (AI, high-res cameras, real-time data fusion) make it easier to track, identify, and analyze individuals at scale—often without their knowledge.
2. Social and Political Impact
a. Erosion of Privacy
Your face, your movements, your social ties: all are now potential data points in government and corporate databases.
Border searches of phones and laptops are rising; authorities may ask to unlock your device and inspect its contents, sometimes denying entry based on what they find.
Surveillance isn’t just a Chinese phenomenon—Western democracies are deploying similar tools, sometimes under the radar.
b. Power and Accountability
Companies like Palantir operate in the gray area between private enterprise and public authority—with limited democratic oversight.
Political ties (e.g., Peter Thiel, Elon Musk) can speed up adoption of surveillance tech at the highest levels.
Critics (including former employees and civil society groups) warn of the risk of “police state” infrastructure, where dissent or even innocent activity can result in scrutiny.
c. Chilling Effects and Abuse
Surveillance can be used to quash dissent, target minorities, or intimidate journalists and activists.
Even if you have “nothing to hide,” the potential for misinterpretation or misuse of your data is real—especially with opaque algorithms and AI-driven decision-making.
3. Practical Implications: What Can Individuals Do?
a. Assess Your Risk
Are you a journalist, activist, or someone with sensitive contacts? Or just a tourist with vacation photos?
Your risk profile should guide your level of caution.
b. Defensive Measures
Disable biometrics (face/fingerprint unlock) before border crossings; use a strong passcode.
Delete sensitive apps or data if you’re worried about device searches.
Back up and wipe your device before travel if you face moderate risk; restore from backup after crossing borders.
Use a burner phone for high-risk trips: minimal apps, travel-only email, temporary SIM/eSIM.
c. Accept Limits
No defense is perfect: if authorities really want access, they may get it.
Encryption and privacy tools help, but are not foolproof—especially at legal “gray zones” like national borders.
4. The Big Picture: Surveillance Is Here, and It’s Growing
Surveillance tech is rapidly advancing—hardware (like 100km cameras), software (AI, data fusion), and legal frameworks (expanded border search powers).
All major powers—not just China—are investing in these capabilities, with varying degrees of transparency and oversight.
The line between safety and control is blurring: tools designed for security can easily be turned to repression.
Public debate, legal reform, and personal security hygiene are needed more than ever to keep surveillance from undermining fundamental freedoms.
5. Bottom Line
You are living in the most surveilled era in human history. Your face, your phone, your data—they are all pieces in a global system that can watch, profile, and judge you—sometimes without you ever knowing. Awareness and personal security steps matter, but so does fighting for transparency, oversight, and the right to privacy.
