Their first impression: the first time luz met topher was at apocalypse gardens?? she was certainly in awe. she’d scoped the place out on the top of the parking structure and was worried she’d find raiders or some wack lone wolf survivalist. Their first impression: Let me just tell you, her initial & current impression is the same exact just stronger!!!!  She thought he was absolutely adorable and was just taken aback at how kind he was immediately. His immediate vibe was just incredibly chilled and comforting and Ada found such a peace being around him. When he mentioned smoking and came across weed for the first time in YEARS, she knew they were gonna be fast friends. Their current impression: Literally the same as the first impression but she has just come to appreciate him SO MUCH. He’s kind and compassionate and witty and sweet and smart and has such a charming way about him that doesn’t come across phony. She thinks he’s probably one of the most, if not THE most, genuine people she’s ever come across. Every conversation, every chill sesh and smoke sesh leaves Ada’s head all fuzzy and light and warm. She just adores every time they spend together and if Ada is having a hard day and just needs someone to vent to, she’d immediately find Toph.What they like most about your muse: His natural ability to calm and comfort anyone he comes across. He doesn’t even have to try??? It’s just natural instinct and that’s something that not many people have and the fact that she’s so close to someone like that is pretty incredible. He is just really giving and compassionate and Adalene just loves that so much in a world that is so cutthroat and unkind.What they dislike most about your muse: not a DAMN thing. Honestly. What could there be possibly to dislike? What your muse is for them: Toph is definitely Adalene’s closest friend at camp. He is definitely her friend, confidante and smoking partner. He’s someone that Ada can no doubt rely on if she ever needed anything, even just a little cuddle with Paul. A general opinion of their relationship: Adalene LOVES their relationship. It’s so simple and sweet and neither have to try hard to make it work. They can be sitting beside each other for hours and not even have to talk, instead just letting the moments pass them in bliss. Luz’s mouth was already FILLED with the yellow cake when Adalene pointed the anecdote out to her ( no doubt she’d seen it on snopes or something beforehand ). At the sudden realization, words connecting with the sensation and flavor of stale cake, she stuck her tongue out. A large mass of half masticated twinkie clung to her tongue, punctuated by the disgust on her face, a small gagging sound emanating from somewhere beyond the sorry excuse for food.

“Your face!” Ada pointed at Luz, her other hand covered her laughing mouth. “Dios mio, your FACE.” 

If Luz could’ve glared, she would’ve. Instead laughter bubbled from her core and the cake shook on her tongue like a crumbling tomb before she spit it into her hand and kicked at Ada’s sneakers playfully.

When the two finally regained their composure, Luz caught her breath–eye growing wide in a sudden realization. “Oh, no. Ada…” The words were soft, LOW, and barely above a whisper as the pair both realized the same thing in a shared look. Topher. Kicking up their heels, they both ran to his room, the sound of crinkling plastic confirming their worst fears. Throwing open the door, Topher’s face showed them everything they needed to know as Paul sniffed the mound of half-eaten cake he’d spat onto the floor with relative disinterest.
