a/n: this is an old post i uploaded on my hq blog from 2020. this was one of my favorites so I thought it was be nice to post it again. back then, i went with the ones i wrote for so i'm keeping it just the way it is. i’m really sorry if your favorite isn’t there. i hope you guys like them !!

atsumu, ushijima, daichi ⥼ the sweetheart cradle. i personally think this would be his go to cuddling position. his arm wrapped around you, holding you close while he lays on his back, your head buried deep into his chest while you inhale the scent of his cologne. most definitely pats or strokes your head as a sign of comfort or whispers nothing but comforting words to you. 

suna, kageyama, tsukishima ⥼ the leg hug. i don’t know why, but this is definitely you guy’s go to. the two of you would be chilling on either one’s bed, sleeping, on the phone, playing games etc. while one of your legs are entangled together. it’s much more relaxing to him and you both get the physical contact you were craving from each other. 

oikawa, sugawara, kita, asahi ⥼ the honeymoon hug. oikawa loves the physical affection between you two and whenever he’s feeling touch starved this is his go to. the both of you are entwined together, holding the other tight, arms wrapped around each other - almost as if refusing to let go. his chin (or yours) is delicately propped up on top of yours. he can feel your breath against the crook of his neck and he adores it. sometimes find him or yourself peppering soft kisses on the other. 

bokuto, lev, yamaguchi ⥼ the spoon. he loves cuddling, especially when it’s with you. he mostly loves cuddling after a long day a practice when he’s beat and worn out.  he lives for having his arms securely around your torso while your back is pressed up against his chest. you would sometimes find his hands caressing your sides or arms and he’d be eager to leave the most tender kisses against the back of your neck. 

hinata, osamu, noya, tanaka ⥼ the butt pillow. you or him laying on your stomach while the other has their head propped up on your butt. also an easy way to tease his s/o. he loves it. the “best pillow in the room” and the only one you guys want to lay your head against. it’s common if he strokes/caresses your leg, might even draw an invisible heart on it. 

tendou, kuroo, iwaizumi, semi ⥼ the cradle. he enjoys when you're laying on top of him, legs on either side of his body, cradling him while his arms hold you firm against his chest. you listen to the sound of his heartbeat and almost find yourself falling asleep to the soothing, rhythmic sound. 

kenma, sakusa, akaashi ⥼ the lap pillow. he’s fond of laying his head in your lap and often finds himself doing it every time he comes over to your place and vice versa. play with his hair, stroke his cheek with your finger, boop his nose, bend over to place kisses on his face - all of them would make him melt. loves peering up at your face from that angle and admires just how attractive you are.

🍃: suna would probably take you on some chill mello date

🍃: probably like… a park, picnic, like a walk or something like that

🍃: very aesthetically pleasing 😌🤌🏾

🍃: at first you guys are walking side by side not really doing anything

🍃: but then big boi got some moves

🍃: he decides to grab your hand

🍃: suna’s hands are probably cold and then as he keeps holding you hand it starts to heat up

🍃: while walking through the park you guys decide to hang out on the playground and do kid stuff 💀

🍃: he’s there recording you swing on the swings and then go down the slide laughing so hard

BYE I JUST THOUGHT LIKE, IMAGINE YOU AND SUNA HAVING KIDS OR GETTING OLDER TOGETHER AND HE STILL HAS THE PICTURES AND THEN YOU GUYS ARE BOTH LOOKING THROUGH THE PICTURES yall would be so in love with each other stg 😫✋🏾

🍃: and you guys get so comfortable around each other that you start to feed each other food

🍃: elders atsumu and osamu dressing up as old people walking through the park are thinking that you guys are already dating

🍃: and from afar it rlly does look like that, so healthy and pure

🍃: the time hours fly by like minutes and the sun is already setting

🍃: you guys both end up going to his house and spend the night watching movies outside on his projector

🍃: you guys watch [insert any black and white movie] while cuddling each other

🍃: but then you get a phone call from atsumu and osamu being nosy

i stg these two… imma cut them

🍃: you almost ending up sleeping there but nope 🥲

🍃: parents 😀🖕🏾

🍃: but don’t worry Suna is gonna drop you off and while you guys are on the road you blast some music

🍃: ofc you play the song i suggested, from now on when ever you guys hear that song you fall deeper in love with each other

🍃: it’s a constant reminder of the great time you guys had together

🍃: plus the song just makes you get into your feelings

🍃: but yeah when he drops you off you guys both just stand there.. not wanting to leave each other

“well.. ig i’ll see you on monday” you say quietly, you voice still kind of dry from yelling the song from the top of your lungs

he smiles at you “yeah..” he says, then suddenly he pulls you into a bear hug.

At first you were surprised, kind of tense. but that didn’t last for long and ease into his touch. it felt so comforting, and he was so warm too.

almost felt like nothing around you was there.. except for suna. he let go, and rests his hand on your cheek and his arm wraps around your waist.

“your so beautiful” he murmured, and kisses you on the cheek

💋: will drag you onto a ferris wheel and if your scared of heights he tells you “just keep looking at me, don’t look down” while he holds your hands

💋: you guys both sit on the ferris wheel and look at view, it’s so beautiful

💋: you catch him looking at you, and when you call him out for it he owns up to it

“well, fine yes i was looking at you.. but how can you blame me when you look so beautiful”

💋: at this point the both of you guys are at the tippy top of the ferris wheel and it’s just sitting there

💋: yes there was some awkward silence but it all goes away when he finally looks at you

“i’m glad you came with me on this date” he says

“mm, I don’t know”

theres an awkward silence again

he just looks at you and you look back at him, he looks down and squeezes your hand. you start to realize how much Tendous been holding your hand, so you decide to ask.

“Not that i’m complaining.. but why are you holding my hand some much” you laugh while saying it to make the question seem less harsh

“i just like like the way your hands fit in mine, it’s… comforting”

he lifts your hand up to his face and kisses it

“always keep you hand in mine, please”

🐻‍❄️: you guys decided on doing a movie date

🐻‍❄️: you brought the date up because you wanted to cuddle him

🐻‍❄️: i mean, who doesn’t wanna cuddle him

🐻‍❄️: the whole date he was a blushing mess

🐻‍❄️: when you held his hand he is face would just go crazy, and when you guys were in the line to get popcorn and you pull him down to your height (does that make sense) he’s just a blushing mess 😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩

🐻‍❄️: you guys both sit in one of those chairs that are connected, yk what i mean?

🐻‍❄️: at first he was just sitting there, stiff, like a rock

🐻‍❄️: to be honest i think he prefers very calm dates, like he doesn’t mind dates with a lot of energy, but he just enjoys them more (kind of aids into the songs i chose to, they’re very calm)

🐻‍❄️: let’s just say the movie you guys were watching was, a comedy movie

🐻‍❄️: i feel like aone is the type of person to talk during a movie 💀

🐻‍❄️: but like it’s only stuff that he observes, like about the characters

🐻‍❄️: what really made you happy was to hear him laugh and see his smile

🐻‍❄️: by the end of the date, you guys decided that you didn’t wanna leave each other and walked to a near by ice cream shop

the both of you guys where linking arms and walking by a lake, a very nice stroll 😌

“today was fun, i really enjoyed it” you said

you look up at him and smile

you both make your way over to a bench and sit. watching the swans in the lake and the sound of water running down a a hill, you guys almost felt like a old couple that’s been together for years

“i just really just can’t express how happy i am, that you here with me now” you blurt out

he starts blushing again

“omg, you blushing again” you laugh

“oh i’m sorry”

��no no it’s fine.. i think it’s cute”

he gets redder

“you just, make me blush so much” he says

“wow” you smile “hopefully i can make you blush some more”

you sit up to face him, there’s is just one question that’s been circling around your mind this whole date

“does this.. mean that were.. uh.. dating now?” you ask

he starts to blush again “i would love to, so yeah”

she noticed something was off

you weren’t as smilily as usual, your laugh felt hollow as it didn’t ring out through the dining area of the sunny

your eyes didn’t shimmer like how they used to, more down cast than usual

you figure standing awkwardly behind the table as you carried your food, your seat calling your name as you just stared at the others before putting you plate on the counter and grabbing an apple and bread for the road.

she could just hear the silent apology you sent sanji as you slumped to your room.

the navigator quietly excused herself before following you, extra care being taken in to not disturb you as you silently closed the girls dorm room.

she expected a scream, a whimper, hell even a cry from the closed door. but she heard nothing over the ruckus of the other crew mates.

something wasnt right... something was wrong.

she felt helpless, she didn’t know what to do as you spent more and more time alone, isolated on your bed. she tried confronting you, asking if ‘ everything was okay’

but as usual you gave an excuse of “ i’m just feeling tired, that’s all. i’ll be better by tomorrow, i promise! sorry for making you worry! “

nami found it strange how you seemed to rebound almost instantly the next day. your smile wide and eyes doe like as you reacted with the more mellower crew members and not your usual trio of chopper, usopp and luffy.

nami noticed zoro giving you glanced as robin pulled her aside when you were talking with franky, eyes tired as he rambled on about his newest invention.

“ is it just me, or does y/n seem tired “

“ yeah, i’ve noticed that maybe a week ago. i’m not sure. they started to detach themselves from the group around that time and when i asked them about it yesterday they just shrugged me off and said they’ll get better... though they’re doing a bad job at them. pot things about to collapse “

but as night fell and you shared a few laughs with the crew at dinner, four pairs of eyes watching you as you mainly stared off at you food.

not even bothered to look up at the intruding crew mates, opting to run away from the situation instead as you said you’re going to bed.

though... to much surprise sanji was the one who silenced them all.

“ so you’ve noticed it too “

“ noticed what?” parroted luffy as he stared at his friends quizingly

“ y/n, they seem a little... strained if you would “ said brook who was sipping tea.

“ yeah, i noticed it a week ago, they seemed to be getting worse “ chopper said as his hooves

“ yeah, they’re not playing around with us anymore, it gets boringggg “ luffy dragged out with a whine , earning a slap from usopp and chopper.

“ is there anything we can do to make them feel better? it’s makes me suppperrr sad just watching them “

“i would just leave them alone, some people cope with emotion differently, and from nami told me, they’ve seem to be isolating themselves. so i think we should let them come to us while we still support them. “

the rest agreed at robin’s inquiry as nami continued to stare at the door, face scrunched and head scratching as the other continued to talk amongst themselves.

“ well i’m beat! see you all in the morning! “ she announced with a pep in her step as she made her way to their room.

but once there, she knocked gently on the door. the atmosphere much different than before as she opened up the door.

no light nor strawberry scented candle leaked out when she opened the door. though a lump in the covers gave way to allude your presence.

“ y/n, are you in here?”

no response

they must be asleep, she thought, closing the door silently as she tiptoed herself way in. praying rigid they won’t know she’s in there.

finally reaching her bed, she quietly as she can snuck into her covers, cuddling in close as she heard a quick sniffle.

then another one,and another one. and then what she was waiting to hear. a silent sob left her mouth as a symphony of cries filled the air. rustling the covers, she heard her crew mate this onto the bed as she continued crying.

whimpered apologizes leaving your mouth like prayers as your breathing got  ragged.

nami was frozen. she couldn’t do anything without making things worse.

so as her distressed crew mate continued to cry their eyes out on their pillow, nami was trapped there with them, her own heart clenching as her pillow dampened.
