Theory: fgo tezcat looks like that because he is using Daybits father as the base, reasoning

Tezcat being white isn't exactly weird, quetz was also white but for tez the main reasoning is this scene in the from Lostbelt manga

daybit seems to recognise Tez and realistically the only one he could recognise is his father

in the flashback images, daybits father has lighter hair than daybit for no reason,

also for daybit death of his father is a fairly recent thing probably only few days at most

so yeah

I just got through Lostbelt 7 a few days ago.. Honestly I still can't move on (emotionally) as usual whenever I finish as tear jerking story 😭✨

There were some minor character deaths and everything else 😭 I learned alot more about Aztec and Mayan mythology lore drops!

(Personally find it Very helpful because I have an OC who's kinda related to this myth!)

I'll definitely miss all the Deinos on that losbelt! And the friends we lost there 😢✨

To those playing the game in NA good luck with the ORT raid! If I did it without retrying you can do it too 🙏☺️!

Some people say they got bored with this Lostbelt chapter, though as for my personal opinion I enjoyed it thoroughly as much as I did with the other chapters 🥺❤️🙏 (maybe it all comes down to personal preferences? Idk wahhh)

Also, I got our best bro Tezcatlipoca and Tlaloc from the banner while I'm going through the main story ! I kinda like his kit for an arts Assasin! Now I understand why he got into meta servants after his release! He's very strong! 🥹❤️ And Very cool too!

Tonight I'm posting my very first art for January 2025 and drew him in commemoration because I kinda like how his character was written for this LB 🙏✨! Thanks for coming home Tez! ✨🥺 I'll definitely enjoy using you alot from now on 🤣

unpopular opinion but other than the skintone Tezcatlipoca's design is good. I really like the choice, for both him and Tlaloc, to have modern/casual, sci-fi, and historically-inspired outfits each as seperate ascensions (though the historical accuracy is shot in the foot by the whitewashing...). It creates this sense of like, continuity - these gods have been around for a long time, they're still kicking now, they'll be a part of humanity into the future.

and yes that one angry/sneering sprite of his is ugly, but in a way that feels fitting for his character as a war god who plays both sides of conflicts, both laughing at and praising those who fight. of course a god of war is going to have a grotesque smile.
