TF2 x SU au fusions!

oof this took too long but i finally made it !

I kept @gracefireheart Andalusite (HeavyMedic) and @cariocay ‘s Turquoise (EngieSpy) (that i just realized their account got deactivated just a few days ago im sad now) fusion designs because i just found them perfect and whenever i wanted to try making my own designs i always ended up with making something similar to theirs since i was very influenced so i just kept them! They’re so awesome plz check the original artists!

About the fusions:

I tried to choose a theme for every fusion that suits the characters like Spessartite (DemoSolly) is a warrior i put Demo’s sword with Soldier’s shield thing well he doesn’t specifically have a shield but yknow the helmet thing i thought that could work.

He’s very powerful, strong and jump into action without a second thought, while he possesses immense strength and a love for loud and chaotic things, his battle prowess is a double-edged sword since his attacks lack precision. however, this unpredictability often leaves his enemies confused and scrambling to defend. he fights more efficiently when drunk lol

Lepidolite (MedicSpy) is a plague doctor, he is very inspired by Hannibal Lecter (nbc Hannibal lol shout out to that one Anon who recommended it for me to watch it lol) at first i wanted to give him a bistouri as a weapon, since it would suit Medic’s saw with Spy’s small knife, but then i felt the fusion was leaning too much towards Medic than Spy, so i put a cane instead to give that old idk gentleman look :P

He is polished and sophisticated, with a hint of underlying sadism and very precise in his movements, he meticulously analyzes his opponents, exploiting weaknesses with surgical precision before jumping into action and strike right where it hurts the most, the cane appears to be a simple walking stick, but inside is a hollowed core that had a retractable, poison-tipped blade, and his poison isn't fast-acting he enjoys toying with his victims, watching as the venom slowly takes hold, fueling his twisted sense of amusement. they are far from being the strongest fusion but they rely a lot on making their opponent weaker by their ability to attack precise hits as well as poisoning them!

Carnelian (SniperScout) his design was inspired by a equestrian outfit (he was the hardest to design tbh bc i wanted his design to be specifically different from the others since Scout is half human so i wanted this "human" aspect to show in the fusion).

He is a walking paradox, he's got Sniper's calm confidence with Scout's hyperactive energy, he loves a good plan but his execution is often fueled by pure adrenaline, he can zip across the battlefield with incredible speed, dodging attacks and flanking enemies. good at mid range and long range attacks but weak at close range, has internalized monologues with himself a lot, he appears calm on the surface however, his foot constantly taps, he fidgets with his slingshot, he cannot stays in place for too long. enjoys taking challenges.

Rubellite (DemoPyro) is a robot with a 50’s cartoon style but with like a creepy vibe to it, their voice sounds like a broken radio perpetually stuck on a laugh track, is both infectious and unsettling.

They just as powerful as Spessartite but just a bit more agile and lean more on the defense style than offense, their body stretches in a cartoony way and battles become a twisted playground for them, a child's game where they hop and blow things up everywhere. they’re very joyful and loves to have fun while making chaos, they usually make jokes but no one understands their muffled voice so they often laugh all by themselves lol the weapon actually expands where the ball and the shaft of the mace connects there’s a chaine (i didnt draw it cuz there was already too much going on in the drawing lol) which helps them reach target from close to mid range easily, they twist and turn their body in very flexible ways before swatting their weapon at their target.

I felt like drawing for my favorite TF2 AU again

I made my idea for a fusion with the Offense Classes (Scout, Soldier, and Pyro). NOTE: THIS IS NOT CANON TO THE AU. I AM NOT THE CREATOR OF THIS AU AND THE ART IN THE TOP LEFT CORNER DOES NOT BELONG TO ME.

The art I used as reference belongs to @lenny-link who is the creator of this AU. Please go check them out! (also, Lenny, if you see this, I'm sorry I didn't ask permission before using your art if I was supposed to do so)

I imagine this fusion to be very strong and agile. I think his weapon would be a large club or lightsaber-thing. He'd definitely be very unstable because... come on. Just look at who makes him up. Yeah, he'd probably be very hot-headed, temperamental, and reckless. I also had an idea that he wouldn't be very good at communicating verbally. Sure, he can be loud and maybe say a few sentences, but I wouldn't expect any long and thorough conversations with this guy. Think of Alexandrite. I didn't really come up with the name for the fusion. If you have any ideas, feel free to leave a comment! :)

I also HAD to draw Andalusite by @gracefireheart cus good god he has taken over my entire heart. He's truly everything. The myth the legend the icon the moment. Happy pride month.

I like giving him a receding hairline cus. medic(has hair) + heavy(bald) = less hair. mathematics. The first drawing is my puny amateurish attempt at Rebecca Sugar's beautiful doodle art style. (I think I nailed the face and hair tho hehe)

Aaaand my own design for a medic and scout fusion, Tourmaline! They only really form him when they both feel like wreaking havoc. he's impulsive, inattentive, hyperactive, he has no self preservation, and he's low-key dumb. When his senses kick in is usually when they unfuse. He can't see for shit and has to constantly remind himself to put on his glasses

So have one drawing of me attempting to do a Heavy + Medic fusion (which I chose an Andalusite for), who are being lil' shits towards Scout. And one drawing of Peridot!Engineer in my more chibi-like style :]

(some small ideas I had below the keep reading line)

So, first off, I couldn't really see what gem Medic was, so I decided to just go with Red Agate. Mostly 'cause it's a gem that's a mix of red and white colors.

Now onto the lil' idea I had, which is Medic's power. Sure, it could be fun that he had just straight up healing powers (even if it's probably just Diamonds that have that power, but let's ignore that), but I thought about something else: An ability to enhance other gem's abilities. The ability only works when close to/touching the another gem, which- at the beginning- would mostly be gems that had moreso elemental, psychic-esque powers, or something else long-range rather than the gems who's prowess was mostly their brute strength or speed.

However. When fused with another gem, that enhancement ability of Medic's is way stronger. For Heavy, he will be way more physically powerful than he would be fused with anyone else. For Sniper, his arrows will not only multiply, but home towards their target or have some sort of elemental effect to it. Etc. Etc.

I saw the TF2 X Steven Universe AU from @lenny-link and i couldn’t rest until i brought a pyro and engineer fusion to the table until realizing it was done already though I didn’t see that until a little too late lmao, (It’s pretty cool though, check it out) anyways, here’s tourmaline.

Description of the fusions:

Citrine is the perfect blend of calculated genius and unhinged ambition. With the cold precision of engineer and the fervor of medic, and his many mechanical arms that move with precise accuracy, he is as captivating as he is terrifying

charming yet unsettling, he likes pushing the boundaries of science and logic. Citrine speaks with a smooth, calculated confidence, always one step ahead, never not prepared

Weapon: The Shock Therapy (one of Medic’s melee weapons from TF2 classic) he can shoot little capsules to heal his teammates (just like Crusaders Crossbow/ Rescue Ranger) and give shocks to who ever he punches. whether he id building, healing, or “improving” those around him, one thing is certain: with Citrine in the lab, science is never boring

Sugilite, yes he is entirely inspired by the artist Prince, it started accidentally, whenever i work on his design it will always lean into Prince’s purple rain outfit, so i simply took it xD

he is the embodiment of chaos wrapped in velvet and mixed with stardust. He moves with the grace of a performer, every step a dance, every word is dripping with charm

He speaks in a voice as rich as a glass of wine, but his mind is full of mischief and unpredictable power. he’ll sweep you off your feet with a silver tongued compliment, only to forget about you the next second. He treats war more like an extravagant party where he is both the host and grand finale

Weapons: disco-ball bombs/ smoke bombs. he uses his bombs and when he wants to make a dramatic exit, he’ll toss one of his disco bombs at the ground and a burst of sparkling smoke fills the battlefield, letting him vanish in a cloud of colors and dust

Kunzite is silence, just like a ghost in the night, a presence felt but never seen. moving with grace, he is as precise as he is elusive, striking his blade only when the moment is right. his piercing purple eyes sees every weakness, every flaw, every opportunity, his long cape drifts behind him like smoke, his steps lighter than a whisper

Kunzite does not talk. he can, but prefers not to. A single look from him speaks more than an entire conversation, and his presence alone is enough to make even the most hardened gems uneasy. he is neither cruel nor kind, neither merciful nor sadistic, he is simply exists in the quiet. by the time you realize he’s there, it’s already too late

Weapon: darts + hidden blades. The darts he carries, are launched with the precise accuracy of a huntsman. And when the distance closes, the hidden blades beneath his wrists strike with the speed of an assassin, no hesitation, no excess force, just cold, calculated efficiency

Rainbow Quartz (kind of takes the place of Stevonnie) they are a ball of both energy and strategy, they lay between calculated precision and impulsive enthusiasm. They are loyal, affectionate and very clumsy. They often feel insecure and constantly have the need to prove themselves. but beneath their playful personality lies a sharp mind, constantly adjusting, and planning their next move, even if their feet sometimes move faster than their brain

They follows orders with lots of enthusiasm, sometimes a little too much, leading to moments of clumsiness. they’ll execute a plan flawlessly then right up trip over their own momentum, sending themselves (and sometimes their enemies) tumbling in a chaotic mess. but give them a goal, and they’ll chase it with relentless determination, never backing down until the job is done.

Weapon: the Flying Guillotine, its fast, unpredictable, and devastating in the right hands. just like them, it can be unpredictable, but when it hits, it hits hard

Orange Sphalerite, Soldier + Medic fusion from @lenny-link 's TF2xSU au. I don't know if anyone's done this one before and I don't entirely know how to design fusions but I had fun at least :3

I'm not too proud of this one but it's ok ig:

I didn't really know what to do as a weapon for them but apparently, Sphalerite is associated with good health and protection so they got shields. They have a shield for each hand but by putting them together merges them.

I like to think they're very protective of their teammates/friends, they like to make sure everyone is ok but they're also very defensive. Although their main thing is protecting, if someone hurts someone they care about they will go on the offensive, bashing into them with their shields and the like. They're more a "do now ask questions later" kind of guy, but otherwise they're very caring.

I'm not sure what Medic's abilities would be but I like to think in fusions he mostly boosts the abilities of his partner which is why Sphalerite is sort of a bigger Soldier.

I kinda love this guy and the au so I might draw them more idk :3
