been "playing" this thing called mmolb
#youni originals#mmolb#thank you spooky @mycopants max @jmaxchill and tealor @lingdilong for getting me into this. based balls#i was considering drawing my team for a while already. and then artfight approached. and we ended the season in 15th place#so i finally did it#i was originally thinking of making them all green or blue little things but then i decided to colorpick from pictures of saturn#so they are more rat-like colors instead#the base is based on that one image of the little dog striking a pose with an upside down peace emoji on its paw. you know?#i was gonna decorate the bats but i. got lazy#kelli is just a little guy. teeny tiny.#ana carolina is the only one with hair because it's a reference to the singer ana carolina#ozzie has sunglasses because 1. i wanted to give someone hexagonal glasses; 2. ozzy osbourne reference#the hexagons in their glasses and the logo are of course a reference to saturn's hexagon (at its north pole)#lucy has one blue eye because she has an enchanted ring (+100 speed). it's the shine of the ring reflecting on her#the grumbles are the same colors but in inversed proportions. for funsies#the manager is one of my s0 players. because the name was too fitting not to use#joe was gonna be a brown rat (to look like a pinto bean) but i couldn't find a good pair of browns i liked enough#and then i found the blues and was like ah. this is It#and that's also why there's no blue rats before him. because i hadn't found the color before#but overall i think there's a nice variety of colors
