hiii, I already adored your art from the comic of metal and hoki and married Kkgai - and to now see you put kkgai in founders time is giving me so much dopamine 💥 any chance you could elaborate on the dynamic between Madara and Gai ? :] how does he interact with the other founders ?
thank you very much for the kind words!!!
(Sorry I took so long to answer this I wanted to finish a lil comic I’ve been working on that basically contains what would have been the first meeting of madara and gai in the fic but that is going to take a fair bit longer so I hope you don’t mind me just answering with some doodles)
first up the dynamic between the founders, gai and kakashi is as follows:
The black haired guy at the top middle is kakashi he actually is in disguise most of the story because he’s trying to be really careful and not alter the timeline too much.
This causes its own set of problems when gai after being told by kakashi to stay put and not interact with anyone (gai was not meant to join kakashi in the past and they weren’t meant to go back so far so kakashi is a bit disoriented) mistakes madara for his eternal rival and interferes with an ambush to help him escape unscathed. Madara witnesses here the 6th gate for the first time and decides to kidnap gai and keep him as a prisoner until he’s figured out what the heck gai did to spontaneously get stronger.
Gai tries to figure out the lest future changey way of escaping and finding the real kakashi while madara tries to figure out gais deal generally. Eventually gai agrees to spar with madara on the condition that madara sends people to search for his rival.
Their sparing matches are actually really interesting! Gai is exceptional at countering the sharingan but madara is a far more experienced fighter both of them are a fan of a good fight so they actually end up growing closer through these fights (this relationship development would actually have been a large part of the story)it doesn’t help that they both remind each other of their respective rivals, so they sort of fall into a closer relationship than they would naturally because they both miss them so much.
Their would likely be dashes of madagai in this story but ultimately they’re not each other’s endgame so it would only really manifest in like madaras musings about what a world where they got together might look like. As well as the occasional crisis of faith from gai where he weirdly feels like he’s cheating on kakashi despite them not actually being together till the end of the story.
So yeah hopefully that illuminates the dynamic a bit more :]
here are some silly doodles:

#kakagai#my art#madagai#answered#more of this to come I’m afraid#I made izuna so angry here cos I find it funny but he got layers I promise#it’s just I’d need to write an entire post about his arc in the story alone#Also kashi has so much going on in this I couldn’t even get in to it#he’s from further in the future than gai ill leave it at that#I forgot to mention gai has no idea who madara is#Which may seem a bit odd because he’s one of the people that founded the village#but if gai can forget his name after nearly dying fighting him I don’t see why a younger gai would bother remembering him#Thanks again for the ask#I really love ranting about this story:)#time travel au

what are the other 11 points on your marriage hints list tho 🤭
hello! 🧡 first of all thank you so much for the message! i'm happy to show you all the points i have written down so far including the one you have seen already with a bit more explanation let me warn you that some of them may be silly or a far reach, i'm aware of that but still wanted to add them so i have them all gathered and it will be easier to look at the "big picture" tbh i think a lot of these on its own wouldn't mean much but if you put them together like this i feel like the message couldn't be clearer: Kantbison AND Fadelstyle marriage is bound to happen! 🙂↕️💍
without further ado, lets get started 💨
"The Taming of the Shrew" ends with both couples married and THK is after all an adaption of it (a loose one yes, but still) and P'Jojo was so happy to make use of his english literature knowledge for this
Kant calling Fadel "Brother-In-Law" once back in episode 5 where it was mistranslated in the subs (i think this time it was definitely mostly to tease fadel)
(cr: https://twitter.com/mileSmile__/status/1869409529139786009) and during episode 9 (where i think hes definitely more serious about it and this time Bison is also there to hear it and react to it hehe)
Kant calling Bison "househusband" also happened in episode 9:
"Such a mad marriage never was before" on the books happened at least twice on two different Shakespeares books Babe was reading first picture from episode 1 and the second from episode 6
Styles fake choking scene where he asks Fadel if he wants to marry him with ring! he came prepared
The upcoming scene of Kant on his knees even if its not a proposal per se (and i actually think it likely isn't) its still symbolic for one
Fadelstyles make up scene in episode 6 which has a pun about marrying post and explanation below by @airenyah who is the only one i have seen point it out and talk about it which i'm very thankful for 💛
Ring on Bisons right ring finger shown multiple times (sometimes on its own, sometimes together with other rings) but i think one of the most important and beautiful scenes with it is the northern lights scene in episode 6:
Style officiating JimmyPopcorns marriage also the preperation of it all with which Fadel surely helped as well
Khaotung saying the ending is something they have never done before which could mean a lot of things but is at least potentially about marriage (sadly i don't have a source of this, if someone else has it i would be very thankful if you could share)
That picture of the fancy table similar to above it could be for a wedding but it could be used for a lot of other things too
Rings worn by Khaotung on his right and left ring finger during THK EP1 event 🆕 (not a new moment but new addition to the list) Wether a wedding ring is worn on the left or right finger depends on country and culture. Based on what I have read Thailand leans towards wearing it on the left finger (but please correct me if i'm wrong). Now in the series Bison often wears rings on his right hand (either just on his ring finger or both ring finger and index finger) which i think might also be reflected by Khaotung wearing two rings on his right hand in the below picture. But I don't think I have ever seen Bison wear a ring on his left hand before (outside of fitting pics), especially not on his ring finger so if the other rings on Khaotung right hand are inspired by Bison, then the ring on the left hand might be too. Which is to say that I believe the left hand ring could be Bisons future wedding ring. I think it also has a cross on it (my best guess) which we know by now fits Bison perfectly. 🖐💍

thats it so far! i hope it didn't disappoint and i am always happy to hear your or others thoughts about it, also always thankful about corrections or additions :)
#the heart killers#the heart killers the series#thk#thk marriage#thanks again for the ask#it made me happy#and this is important to me#i've always wanted a marriage for them but at the start it just seemed like a pipe dream#i am so happy its no longer just a dream but there are so many scenes that support it for both kantbison and fadelstyle#and you know with this many it truly can't just be a coincidence#i'm one of the biggest KB & FS marriage believers and i hope many more people will join <3#some of it is me overthinking but i hope it still makes sense where i'm coming from#its not supposed to be scientific haha

The brain worms are brain worming, a Ghost and Hollow twin telepathy thing going on that is so strong Hollow ALSO becomes the Shade Lord, there are two Shade Lords that look very different and yet almost identical to each other now, one is just significantly more.. these two are already heavily traumatized and emotionally repressed in some way, idk what to use
That IS an interesting idea!
I like the idea that the vessels share a telepathic connection through the void.
A connection that becomes stronger after Ghost obtains the void heart.
In my post-canon series, a large part of Ghost's personal arc is learning how to better understand and control the power of the void. If you've seen atla, imagine the shade lord form as like an avatar state for Ghost. And while all the vessel's shades are connected to that form, Ghost, as bearer of the void heart, has the most power over it.
I have thought about how interesting it could be to have the void heart and thus control of the shade lord form given to Hollow, not sure how it would work exactly but it would open up some interesting possibilities!
The idea of splitting/sharing that power and having two shadelords is one I've never considered before!
That's honestly such an intriguing possibility.
I'll be rotating this through my mind for a while
#thanks again for the ask#sorry for the kinda late reply i've been busy#love this idea though#!!!#hollow knight

Umm, hi!
I just finished LIAB (only the first one, but I'm surely not stopping now) and I wanted to tell you that I loved it!
I didn't leave any comments because I downloaded it and read it on my kindle, so... Here's my appreciation!
👐🎉✨🫶🎆
... Wellll, I'm a bit awkward, I suppose (another reason for no comments but awkward compliments are better than no compliments? Right? I think so, at least), but I also loved your vibe from the chapter notes. They were always so expressive and conversational and friendly.
I also ADORE how it's truly a slow burn. If it doesn't take them 200k words to get together, why even bother, right?/j
Soooo, uhh... that's it, I guess. Again, I love you writing. Good job and thank you for it! I hope you're doing good <3
HIII HELLO!!! Omg you liked my fic you’re so sweet I feel so cool that you read it on your kindle that’s amazing. & then you came here to tell me you liked it?!? *HUGS YOU*
You’re absolutely not awkward & even if you were this is an awkward comment safe space haha & YES MY INSANE AUTHORS NOTES ahhhh I’m so embarrassing haha but I’m glad you enjoyed!! Prepare for more unhinged authors notes as you continue reading haha.
Thank you for this ask you’re so sweet I hope you continue to enjoy <3
#My authors notes are partly why I don’t share that I write fanfic irl haha#People who know me probably wouldn’t be too surprised because that’s pretty much how I am#But it’s still embarrassing haha!#Your ask was so sweet im so touched you came to tumblr to tell me you enjoyed#It’s so cool I have such sweet readers like you and others#IM SO LUCKY!!!#I hope you continue to enjoy reading!!#Warnings for continued dark themes and pain throughout haha#Thanks again for the ask#Imtheboxilastreadremixed#<- cool username haha#Liab#leaving it all behind#Ask

What are your favorite video games? :)
you've activated my trap card
video games are the great love of my life, most of my time is spent playing video games, most of my favorite canons are video games. I think video games have such a unique way of telling stories compared to every other medium, and the huge variety in form that video games can take really gives them massive narrative potential. trying to narrow down to just a few is hard but I'm gonna do it
I was a 90s kid so my first big video game endeavors (besides a particular one but I'll get to it in the end) were unsurprisingly the Pokemon games. I started with Yellow but the ones I played the most were Silver and Sapphire, and Gen 3 is still my favorite even though I've played some of the gens since then. Crystal in particular though always has a place in my heart for introducing the female MC to the games; for most of my childhood, Pokemon and video games on a larger scale were always seen as things for boys (the boys on my playground even made me pass a quiz before they would let me play make believe Pokemon with them, a thing they did not make the other boys do) so Crystal adding the female MC felt like validation that I was welcome here. Representation matters! I remember there was also an old Scooby-doo game for the gameboy color I was obsessed with, and also shoutout to the Barbie horse adventure games lol
Final Fantasy will always have a special place in my heart for being the series that really got me into JRPGs, which has been a lot of what I've played since. FFX in particular, because it was my first, will always be special to me, but I also really enjoyed FFVIII (and I accept no slander) and FFXII, and more recently I loved FFXV (all the criticisms are true but damn it, doomed bachelor party road trip is such a fun time). At this point I've played every mainline FF game at least part way if not all the way to completion (except the MMOs, I don't really play MMOs, I'm a single player girly), and a lot of the spinoffs, especially the Tactics games (Tactics Advance man... what a good game). What most of the Final Fantasy games tend to do really well is the found family trope and that's what gets me about most of them.
More recently the JRPG that's held my heart the longest is Persona 5 (and its various spinoffs). I love these little criminals. They are all my sons and daughters. Royal absolutely perfected the turn based gameplay, I don't think it could have been executed better.
Puzzle games and visual novels are also what I spend a lot of time with. Ghost Trick is a transcendental experience - don't look up anything, just go play it. I promise the less you know the better it is. No one needs me to tell them how good Ace Attorney is but Ace Attorney is amazing; my personal favorite is actually Ace Attorney Apollo Justice, partially because Ema Skye is in it in her best incarnation (shoutout to the one other Ema/Klavier/Apollo shipper and your fanfic that has sustained me). I also loved the Professor Layton games. And I'm into less story driven, more laid back puzzle games like Stitch, which is the game I play whenever I just need to chill for a bit (unless I'm doing sudoku puzzles). Also more recently I thoroughly enjoyed In Stars and Time, which is like a puzzle RPG with an amazing story.
But especially on the narrative games front I looooooove Night in the Woods, one of my favorite video games of all. For one thing, there are not a lot of games or media in general that take place in the real world but in a small, dying rural town, and that setting and the characters' struggles and issues really resonated with me, as someone from a small, dying rural town. Also, Mae is an incredible protagonist, who is a female protagonist who is allowed to be massively flawed and not fit into the normal socially acceptable mold, but still be a hero, learn from her mistakes and get better. Also I'm not kidding when I say that this game's meditations on god, the nature of our existence, and what it means to be alive with other people genuinely changed my life. "When I die, I want it to hurt," is a line that will stick with me for the rest of my life.
I'm also a big fan of the "murder game visual novel" subgenre lol. Buried Stars is great, Dangan Ronpa is great, but 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors is what will really hold my heart forever. 999 is such a good story, the twists are presented so expertly, and the way it used its original DS format in particular to tell its story is a masterclass in understanding how the unique format of video games can add to the narrative in ways no other medium can capture. Also the puzzles are just FUN, if you enjoy escape rooms you will love this game. The other games in the series are good too even if they kind of suck as sequels. Also why do they go out of their way not to talk about Santa?? JUSTICE FOR MY BOY!
If I were a youtube video essayist I would make a video on 999 that starts with just a twenty minute rant about how the opening sequence of 999 is one of the best in any video game ever. Like, the way it establishes the tone, the perfect pacing of it, the way it gets the player tense right along with the characters... mmmwah!
I also really like tactical RPGs, especially XCOM. It's so fun, but be prepared to die because you will, a lot. It's not a game meant for people who get attached, it will break you lol. Darkest Dungeon is also really fun but the same warning applies.
And I love farming and life sims! I played the old Harvest Moons back in the day, and more recently I've really loved Coral Island. I've also been playing a lot of Disney Dreamlight Valley, which is more like Animal Crossing but still in the cozy games genre. I need to play more of Potions Permit but I've really enjoyed what I've played of that one, if you want a cozy game vibe that isn't all about farming. And also I've been wrapped up in Infinity Nikki lately, which is a gacha game but boy is it fun (I played Love Nikki for a few years after it first came out too).
And speaking of gachas, I've played a lot of those, but the idol raisers/rhythm games are the ones that really stick with me. For a looooooong time it was Love Live School Idol Festival (RIP), but right now it is Project Sekai, a game I love and play every day. For a rhythm gacha game it has a really great story and cast of characters, and I love it a lot. I'm a VBS fan but I also love/pull for Ena and Shiho.
and this doesn't fit in any of the categories but I looooved the SSX series, especially the PS2 era of games. I played so much SSX Tricky and SSX3 and SSX On Tour. (if you're confused, they're snowboarding games lol)
god there's probably so many more that I've forgotten... I really love video games haha. But there's one in particular I wanted to talk about at the end, because this is the TRUE video game of my youth, the one I put about as many hours into as I did Pokemon, the one I played over and over on Playstation until the disc wore out, a game that is honestly very bizarre, both in the circumstances of its existence and in its plot and gameplay.
and that game is Mary-Kate and Ashley's Magical Mystery Mall.
but I'm going to put all that under a cut. Thanks for the ask! This is probably waaaaay longer an answer than you were expecting haha. I JUST. LOVE VIDEO GAMES. RRAAAAH.
OKAY so Mary-Kate and Ashley's Magical Mystery Mall was a game for the PS1 featuring the Olsen Twins (voiced and everything!) It was basically just a collection of minigames with an absolutely batshit framing narrative, being that the girls go to the mall and buy matching friendship necklaces from a mysterious traveling saleswoman (I think they do call her a word you are not supposed to use, because it was the year 2000, so be aware of that if you look it up). The woman tells them that whatever they do, do not put the two halves of the necklaces together, because it's missing some gems and weird things will happen if they do. The girls walk off and immediately dismiss her advice as stupid before putting the two halves together, which instantly freezes the mall and everyone inside in time, except the girls and the saleswoman. She then tells them that if they don't find the gems that are missing from the necklace charms and put it back together, they will be stuck in the mall forever "with no money to buy anything!" (cue NOOOOOOOOOO)
so you have to play minigames to get the charms back.
most of these are pretty normal. there's one where you do a few snowboarding races (it's no SSX but I liked it well enough), there's one where you work the mall food court (this was sort of like diner dash and I loved it), there's one where you put on a fashion show that I also liked a lot. the last two are the most interesting ones.
so one of the minigames was putting together your own music video. you pick from a bunch of dance moves to make the choreo, then you pick a shoot location, then you move the camera around to film the music video while the girls dance to the song. the game had a few preset tracks, but the really fun thing was that you had the option to have the girls dance to your own CDs (by physically switching the game disc for a CD). this meant you could have them do a music video to ANY track, of ANY length. I had them dance to music from 2 B A Master (the Pokemon CD). I had them dance to all of the songs from Aaron Carter's "Aaron's Party (Come Get It)" album (it was the early 2000s!). I had them dance to a 15 minute stand-up recording by Robin Williams just to see if it would let me (it would!). I had a lot of fun with that minigame, excellent design, video game developers take notes.
the last minigame was the weird one
so if you looked at the little booklet the game sent to tell you how to play (remember when games had those??), there was a bit at the back with the pictures of two teen boys, explaining that they had won a contest to appear as characters in the game! but where could these boys be in a game where everyone in the mall is frozen in time?
in the final minigame, that's where! the plot of which sure is something!
so the final minigame is a picture taking minigame where Mary-Kate and Ashley stalk two boys they admit they do not know so they can take pictures of them, to convince all their friends that they're dating these boys.
yes, you are actually stalking them!
at the beginning of the game, which has way more cutscenes involved than the others, you learn that one of the twins (don't remember which one now) has told all their friends that they know and are dating the cute new lifeguards at the beach! of course, they literally don't even know those guys, and now their friends are getting suspicious about the dating claim. so they decide to pose with the boys in the background to give the illusion that they're on a date. the player gets points for how close the boys are in the picture, and how convincingly it looks like they're actually posing and not just walking past.
after the first couple stages where the girls just stand on a street corner and wait for the boys to get close, the boys get wise and start trolling them. keep in mind that this is all voice acted, so you actually hear the boys start to say things like "are those girls following us? why are they taking pictures of us?" this would be a horror game in any other genre but here it's just supposed to be cute and funny.
the boys troll the twins (and you, the player) by hiding behind surfboards and inside large pots, popping out at random and making it harder to get a good picture of them (but also, ironically, making those pictures look more like they're actually on a date, because why else would they be posing like this?). I remember it took me FOREEEEVER to finally beat this minigame.
at the end, the boys come up to the twins and ask them why they're doing this, and the twins confess to the situation. the boys decide to solve the problem by actually going on a date with them. all's well that ends well!
so anyway yeah that's my oral history of Mary-Kate and Ashley's Magical Mystery Mall, a game I put more hours into than almost any other game in my youth (partly because you can play it in one sitting). the 2000s were truly a wild time.
if you read to the end bless your heart

For the big bang ask game (so excited for this event!)
1. What are you cooking up for the Royai Big Bang 2024 event? Tell us more, tease us please!!!
2. Favorite and least favorite Royai tropes?
3. You pick a question to answer! ☺️
Hiya 🩷
I am so excited as well!!! Oh my god, I truly hope that you enjoy this event as much as I enjoyed working hehe
OKAY what Am I cooking? Uh so the funny story is, when I applied for the event in December It was during my gap year and I was pretty free so I think I signed up that I am able to draw 12+ drawings, and tbh I never thought I’d make it to the event at all!! At first I was only assigned to one project and I sketched around 14 drawings I think, and in May I ended up taking three more projects

In total I cooked 45 artworks!! 12 which made it to the final cut haha
i will post more sneak peeks of my art so stay tuned 👀
my least favorite Royai trope- gotta be the whole Roy can't think and is idiot 100% of the time and Riza has to baby sit him 24/7
This should be my very least favorite. I just dislike it when people make it as if that is all what they are - like I don't have anything against their facade ( its smart.) , but I hate it so much when people make it as if it was their personality. + I just HATE it when people make Riza shoot Roy all the time?? Like?? Why would a woman who agreed to do follow a man to HELL DO THAT???
And yes! I would pick another question but I have so many asks so those will cover this one hehe, thank you so much for being so supportive ahhh 🥹🩷
#I can't even with that trope#Its just a huge 👎🏻#Also the art part hahah#I don't know if I will ever be able to finish the rest of the drawings one day I do have lots of those outlined#Thanks again for the ask#Royai big bang 2024#Royai big bang 2024 promo week

oh i am So curious about Bellara; Johanna - Necessity 👀👀👀
For the WIP folder ask game: Ooh, so! Necessity was the original working title of the Bellara & Johanna follow-up to Brilliant Things; the title has recently been extended to The Necessity Hypothesis but knowing me, it will probably change again before I post it 🙈 This fic basically sprouted out of the idea that it would be nice to write a follow up to Brilliant Things (in which Johanna asks for Bellara to be brought to Emmrich's room). At that time, mostly because it would allow me to explore some Johanna headcanons that got left on the cutting room floor of Brilliant Things. In the end of note works, I asked if such a fic would be of interest of others and was quite honestly surprised by the amount of agreement! One of the people who commented was @profoundlyfaded, who shared some really useful insight into Bellara as a character that helped me refine what I actually wanted to write in this follow-up fic. Especially once I embarked upon my Bellara canon review and was struck by the parallels in her and Emmrich's personal arcs. During the initial freewriting/planning phases of this fic, I got lost in the sauce a bit and ended up outlining a whole arc of pre-canon to post-canon Johanna & Emmrich-centric fics that I'd like to complete, so there's some things in here that are also set-up for the future fics!
#thanks again for the ask#more welcome#gosh that was more words than I intended to write but I guess it is taking up a lot of my brain space rn#series: enduring friendships#ziskanswers#broodsys

Rhagerys x Therese baby for the if they had a kid meme???
Thank you so much for the ask. I immediately knew their firstborn would be a girl.
Name: Daenerys Targaryen (I just feel that since I called them the “Jaehaerys and Alysanne of the Vale” their first daughter [Yeah they would definitely have more] would naturally be named that)
Gender: Female
General Appearance: Hip length, white-blond hair that curl just a bit at the ends. Left eye: lilac. Right eye: green. 6'1”. She has her father's strong jaw but her mother's playful eyes and smile. She's just a little self conscious about her height, mostly when a young lord makes a comment about how he did not “Expect her to be so tall”. Or if one snidely says “Your more woman than I expected”. [Insert Rhagerys parkouring over any obstacle in his way to get to said young lord to catapult him into the sun]
Personality: She has learned to carry herself with poise. When at court or around other lords and ladies. She puts a “veneer” over her emotions. She doesn't want to be hurt so she makes sure that there are enough layers of “self confidence” that she has built up for the moment to steel her for anything that comes her way. But when she's around family, she is up to have some sort of fun. Be silly. Running around the gardens playing some form of tag. Making up stories about people she and a relative are watching from a distance. Hiding somewhere and jumping out to scare someone (which no one does to her. One of her cousins may have gotten a fat lip when they tried that).
Special Talents: While she does enjoy archery with her mother. She wanted to learn to use a spear way more. She saw some Dornish men at a tourney when she was young and she could not get the thought of how they moved and weaved with such ease as they twirled and brandished their spears. Her parents even were able to hire a Dornish man well versed in the spear to help her with her lessons. She also really enjoys to play cyvasse. She plays with either parent. With Therese it stays pretty civil with a few jabs here and there about a devastating move. With Rhagerys, he walked out of the room one time when she beat him so severely. Rhagerys is competitive with one thing: cyvasse. And to be beat by his daughter, pride and devastation mixed into one.
Who They Like Better: Therese. Rhagerys “hovers” too much. Therese lets her be herself and be adventurous. Without wrapping her in bubble wrap to keep her safe (If Rhage could he would). She can also go to Therese whenever she has a deeper problem, like self doubt. Rhagerys would just be like “Who do I need to fight?” So, she absolutely appreciates her mother much more in the sense that she can level with her and have a true conversation.
Who They Take After More: Rhagerys. It's subtle but it's there. Especially when she gets an edge in her voice when she is angry. She doesn't so much as snap like Rhagerys can but she can bite back with words that feel like she had snapped in the moment. In her youth she may have thrown a few things at the person she is arguing with. She saw her father do it during sword practice, so she figured it was alright to do herself. A drinking cup thrown fiercely to one of her cousin's head and her being reprimanded and sent to her chambers would tell her differently. Personal Head Canon: She presented Rhagerys with a rabbit skull when she was about 5. She found it when the family was out hunting. She did try to apologize that it wasn't one that she personally killed but it was one that had been dead for a while. Rhagerys did not mind, he absolutely treasured it. He had it placed above his chair in the great hall of Strongsong, for all to see. And she is such a daddy's girl, even though she prefers Therese more. When she is feeling sad or upset and she just wants someone to make her laugh or happy, she knows she can go to her father and he'll do his best to lighten her mood. Mostly by threatening whatever is bothering her. If it's a boy? That kid is already nursing a broken nose. If it's a book that made her sad? Well that book is now kindling. If she's missing some of her relatives in King's Landing or Dragonstone? Rhagerys is already packing their bags to go visit them. He would move the world for her. She has a dragon that is the color of the sky so naturally she named him Skyfyre.
Face Claim: Keira Knigtly (Pirates of the Caribbean)
#Thanks again for the ask#We both picked girls…it’s like we knew#She just exudes chaotic and composed at the same time#That no one knows what they're going to get#Idk where the spear came from#Almost went with morning star bc she watched Criston with it#But I feel Rhage and Therese would be like 🫤 at the reason behind her choice#My HotD OMC#Lovely OCs#HotD

I'm guessing by your reblogs you like Marvel. Tell me about your marvel headcannons!
im gonna be completely honest with ya, I don't actually like the MCU all that much!
I have a couple of characters and dynamics that I love, but other than that, I did enjoy the movies when they were coming out up until Infinity War/Endgame and since then (imo) everything they've done just hasn't felt right (other than the Loki series, I love him, he's one of my favs).
BUT I have recently (we're talkin' the last week, at most) been gettin back into the MCU stuff, specifically the fandom space and Stucky (Steve/Bucky)! So head cannons that I've picked up in the last week (including things that were other ppl's ideas and made me think "hell yeah"):
Steve and Bucky are gay they are in love and no one can convince me otherwise (not rly a head cannon but wtv lol)
Jewish Bucky and Catholic Steve has been a very interesting dynamic to read in fics so I fw that :)
Steve and Bucky both learned to write in cursive (though Bucky's shorthand is a whole lot worse than Steve's) but most of the rest of the Avenger's crew can't read cursive at all/very well which makes for some funny moments
Neither Endgame nor Infinity War actually happened and they're all happy hanging out on occasion and the world didn't end and they're all retired and everything's okay!!! (I am delusional)
I think that's all I've got for ya but thank you sm for the ask!!!!! <333

Another Saw AU ask!
This time it is the housewardens (and the dorms) up for evaluation as Saw Apprentices! Please tell me on a scale from 1 star (lowest) to 5 stars (most) where the dorms rank on the following categories:
1. Professional Conduct/Mannerisms
2. Organization/Punctuality
3. How well they uphold the Ideals of the Job
4. How they contribute to a positive work environment
Hi friend!!! Another Saw AU ask! Thank you! This will be so fun to answer, I am putting so much thought into it!!! For those unfamiliar, my friend @kimium and I have a Twisted Wonderland Sort of Saw Franchise AU. See my pinned post for links to other posts regarding it and our AO3 series!
I'm so excited for this ask! Sorry it took so long, I've had a lot going on this week...but I'm here now! (Answers under a cut because this will be LONG lol!)
Heartslaybul
1. Professional Conduct/Mannerisms: 4 stars. Riddle, of course, is always on top of his game and courteous. Cater is no slouch either, when it comes to actually impressing other people with his manners. He's pretty good at putting on masks, after all. It's Ace and Deuce who need a little *reminder* once in a while on how to act and conduct themselves.
2. Organization/Punctuality: 5 stars. Mostly because of Riddle. He is always on time and his traps tend to run closest to their estimated run times. The rest of Heartslaybul is also punctual, lest they be hit with Riddle's signature spell.
3. How well they uphold the Ideals of the Job: 3 stars. While Riddle is definitely here for the Justice aspect of it, the others are a little...less good at upholding the ideals. Deuce is really just there because the boss (Riddle) is, and because he likes being able to work closely with Ace. Cater...well Cater's true ideals are as of yet undiscussed but you *know* he probably doesn't fully buy into the "appreciate your life and change for the better" lesson John says they're giving people.
4. How they contribute to a positive work environment: 4 stars. Riddle would obviously do his best to ensure rules are followed but also that appropriate break times/measures are also instated. Cater is picking up the rest with his bubbly persona and making an effort to make sure everyone has something at the workplace to smile about. It may be a dusty old warehouse or abandoned workshop, or any other number of derelict places, but Cater's gonna make sure his friends have a little happiness in their days. Ace mostly complains, rather than trying to make the workplace better (Ace would like to point out he should not be blamed for this as they are literally murdering people and so he does not think putting up decorations and eating fancy dinners together completely offsets that vibe) and his whining often gets him in a scuffle with Deuce (they may be dating but they fight like an old married couple) which does bring down the workplace vibe a little bit and thus keeps them from achieving 5 stars.
Savanaclaw
1. Professional Conduct/Mannerisms: 3 stars. Leona's attitude and outward demeanor detract from the rating. However, Ruggie works his ass off to get the job done and get it done *right*, and Jack doesn't like acting what he views as rude. The efforts of the two of them earn them the 3 stars.
2. Organization/Punctuality: 5 stars. Despite how he often skips classes to nap and doesn't seem to really care about meeting deadlines or being on time, I believe Leona can be pretty punctual when he needs to. He wouldn't be so good at Spell Drive if he didn't have at least some sense of timing and punctuality. I also think that, despite him still thinking John is bat-shit fucking crazy, Leona prioritizes punctuality for the trap because it CANNOT interfere with his daily life and responsibilities as a prince, so as to not garner suspicion. Ruggie is also very punctual, since he often works many jobs and would never allow himself to be docked pay for being late if he could help it. And Jack would consider showing up late to be rude and disrespectful, so of course you know he would strive to be on time. John doesn't really have an issue with any of them regarding punctuality, and the traps are pretty organized in order to ensure they don't mess with Leona's life.
3. How well they uphold the Ideals of the Job: 1 star. Leona doesn't give a shit about John's ideology, he thinks he's fucking crazy. The main motivation for him is to go along with it to protect his own (Ruggie, Jack, Yuu, Grim, himself, etc.). We all know Ruggie would do anything for money, but John isn't paying them. Leona is (as per the murder fic for their dorm) but he's only doing that to make sure Ruggie is on board and therefore safe from John. I also think Ruggie would get a bit too vindictive at times, which is again not the ideology John is trying to "teach". Jack tries but he has a hard time stomaching a lot of things.
4. How they contribute to a positive work environment: 2 stars. Let's face it, they're not exactly enthused to be doing these little projects. The 2 stars comes from Jack's attitude and respect. Ruggie and Leona do not contribute. (Ruggie would like to argue he makes the environment very positive. Jack tells him they are being evaluated on the actual work, not the sex afterward...)
Octavinelle
1. Professional Conduct/Mannerisms: 5 stars. If there's one thing these boys know from running a restaurant chain, it's professionalism. Even Floyd can play along, if he feels it suits his interests. And he finds this work very interesting.
2. Organization/Punctuality: 4 stars. Jade and Azul are always on time and ready to go. And, let's be real, Azul has his traps planned to death and back again, with multiple back-up plans for any possible issues he can think of. Floyd is hit-or-miss, depending on his moods. He shows up relatively punctually the majority of the time, but if something grabs his attention...good luck getting him to show up at all.
3. How well they uphold the Ideals of the Job: 3 stars. See, for the most part they do it right, targeting people who "deserve" it and using it to protect their restaurant and staff; an arguably noble cause. But then, there's the fact that Jade's motivations also stem from wanting to see what would happen. He's the type of person to put someone in a death trap just to see what would happen. While that curiousity is not completely out of line with John's teachings, Jade's sadistic enjoyment from it is. Everyone knows Floyd just does what he finds interesting and fun. He doesn't feel overly attached to making the victims have a "change of heart" or "learn something". He prefers when they suffer and die. (this is why he's not allowed to do traps by himself. Azul and Jade both know he'd likely get bored or angry and just kill the person himself. And that would land them in a little bit of hot water with John, which they'd rather avoid).
4. How they contribute to a positive work environment: 4 stars. Overall, Jade and Floyd have a pretty positive attitude when working on traps. Once in a while, Floyd gets restless and distressed or distracted and starts messing with things or throwing fits. However, given the nature of the work, it doesn't take much to pull him out of that mood. Azul is really the one where they lose points here. As much as he makes sure proper body mechanics are being used so as not to wreck their backs and cause injury, and puts in all sorts of safeties for their group to make sure they don't get injured while on the job, his work habits follow him even here. He doesn't take breaks when he should, worries and stresses over every little piece of the plan, and basically continues to be a workaholic.
Scarabia
1. Professional Conduct/Mannerisms: 5 stars. Kalim is the oldest son of a wealthy merchant. You better believe he knows how to be professional and cordial in a work environment. His attitude may be described as "casual" by some, but in reality it's more "welcoming", which bodes very well for professionalism. Jamil is professional in a different way. He would lean more toward the formal and polite side of it. Neither way is necessarily wrong. John enjoys talking with both of them and discussing their traps with them.
2. Organization/Punctuality: 3 stars. Kalim's downfall is that he can be a bit scatter-brained. I do think he'd be a bit more organized after having graduated, but I don't think his old habits would go away entirely. Jamil is the one who keeps their plans neatly documented in folders and binders and makes sure they have all the supplies they need. I would also like to point out that it is harder for Kalim to participate in this part because he really doesn't enjoy the murder part, so he tries as much as possible not to think about it ahead of time.
3. How well they uphold the Ideals of the Job: 3 stars again. This time, it's Kalim pulling the weight. Kalim is the one who sees this less as something he wants to do and more as something he needs to do. It's a responsibility. He wants the world to be a better place and if this is a way to make that happen, he will try. Jamil is where they lose points. Jamil is the one who would create the inescapable traps. He sees it more as a way to hand down judgement and punishment on "deserving" people, rather than a way to teach them.
4. How they contribute to a positive work environment: 4 stars. As solemn as the job is for Kalim, and as vindictive as Jamil can be, the two of them try to have a rather positive workplace. Kalim always makes sure they take lots of breaks, so as not to get exhausted emotionally or physically, and Jamil always has many snacks prepared. The one star they get removed is because Jamil can get a little self-righteous and go on rants at times, which kind of detracts from the atmosphere.
Pomefiore
1. Professional Conduct/Mannerisms: 5 stars. Vil is the epitome of professionalism. He will allow nothing less in all that he does. Epel sometimes grumbles about needing to be so concerned over how they conduct themselves when putting people in murder traps, but he begrudgingly goes with it, dress code and all. (Vil makes them wear clothes suited to the job. He has issues with the robes and masks, but he understands the logic behind the disguise and agrees that it is not something anyone would expect Vil Schoenheit to be caught dead in, and so it makes a very good part of his alibi).
2. Organization/Punctuality: 5 stars. They are never late. Vil will not hear of it. Epel came close One(1) time, and Vil lectured for a full thirty minutes after they finished with the trap. In all honesty, Vil really can't afford to have things running late. He has a very busy, very public life. He can't afford any suspicions. His traps are planned down to the minute, with a small window of cushion time to allow if things go wrong.
3. How well they uphold the Ideals of the Job: 4 stars. Vil, much like Kalim, sees this less as something he really wants to do and more as a solemn responsibility. Rook finds there to be beauty in giving people a chance to change, and there is beauty in desperation and what people are willing to do to live. Epel sits in the corner and questions if Vil and Rook are actually ok or if they need some therapy (they do, but like so does all of the Twisted Wonderland cast). Epel is the one who doesn't fully buy John's ideology. However, he is respectful to John (his granny would kill him if she heard otherwise) and they have many discussions about right and wrong, so John finds he cannot dock too many points based on Epel's attitude.
4. How they contribute to a positive work environment: 4 stars. Vil does his best to make sure they have scheduled breaks and enough time to complete the traps without causing injury to themselves. Rook tends to light up the workplace with his mannerisms, and I like to think he brings in art to their various workplaces because a beautiful workplace can be inspiring and good for the soul, or so he says. He would also be the type to come up with all sorts of activities and exercises for team-building in the workplace. Epel is the one most likely to be pouty or moody or be an unwilling participant in whatever workplace bonding activities Rook comes up with.
Ignihyde
1. Professional Conduct/Mannerisms: 1 star. Listen. Idia's idea of "professionalism" for this job is wearing pants when he monitors the trap from the comfort of his basement, with a blanket wrapped around his shoulders as he chews on some gummy worms. The 1 star is because Ortho is always polite and well-polished when he interacts with John and when the trap is running.
2. Organization/Punctuality: 5 stars. Idia isn't playing around. He would never let a trap interfere with the important things in his life (playing video games, defeating bosses, participating in limited-time events for his mobile games, etc.). He's gonna make sure his traps are set up and start and end on time. And, he's more organized than he looks when it comes to tech. His workrooms and everything may seem chaotic, but he knows where everything is and has his traps planned out to every little detail. Each trap is like a challenge, and he does like showing off.
3. How well they uphold the Ideals of the Job: 2 stars. While Idia and Ortho do make sure to trap people who follow John's criteria for victims, Idia is more in it for the challenge of building the traps and Ortho is mostly in it because his brother is (though he doesn't mind getting revenge on people who piss them off...)
4. How they contribute to a positive work environment: 3 stars. Ortho is very positive and charismatic and charming in the work environment. Idia doesn't talk to anyone aside from Ortho unless he absolutely has to contact John, and even then it's usually via emails and rarely in person. Idia's also not exactly known for scheduling appropriate break times. He tends to get very wrapped up in watching his tech and making notes on what to improve and seeing if the victim can beat them...he often doesn't take breaks for hours at a time, depending on the trap's runtime. (Idia would like to point out in response to this evaluation that the workplace is VERY positive for him. "Nii-san. Please leave your computer, it's been six hours," Ortho begs in response.)
Diasomnia
1. Professional Conduct/Mannerisms: 5 stars. Malleus is a prince. He has been taught manners and how to conduct himself in a regal way since he was young. Lilia used to be a general. He knows how to behave professionally in the workplace. Sebek and Silver both feel they should maintain professional demeanor, as retainers to Malleus. John doesn't always understand all their mannerisms, but he does chalk most of that up to them being Fae and likely having different rules than humans, and he finds they are always polite and cordial so he really has no problem with their conduct.
2. Organization/Punctuality: 4 stars. Sometimes, Malleus gets lost in his own world (he is a Fae, after all, so his concept of time is very different at times). However, Lilia can find him most times and with his teleportation it is easy to be there relatively close to on-time. The rest of them are usually on time.
3. How well they uphold the Ideals of the Job: 3 stars. While Malleus does see this as an opportunity to make the world a safer place for Yuu, he also sees this as a way to sate some of his curiousity about humans. That's not *exactly* what John was going for, but he'll take what he can get. The rest of Diasomnia is basically there because Malleus is. They're not as interested in the actual work. Sebek tries to understand and follow John's teachings because Malleus seems to find them interesting, but I think his main motivation is still more about Malleus than the actual ideals John is trying to impart. Lilia is mostly there to be a bit of impulse control for Malleus, let's face it. And Silver feels he should be there out of duty to Malleus. So, really, Malleus (and sometimes Sebek) is the only one who sort of tries to follow John's ideals.
4. How they contribute to a positive work environment: 4 stars. They do their best. Lilia brings a lot of positivity and fun to the workplace to keep it stress-free. However, when Silver tests out parts for the traps, it drives him a little up the wall and he has to leave the workplace. The rest of the time, though, the workplace is rather positive and relatively relaxed as they plan the trap and set it up.
There you go! The evaluations of the dorms as Jigsaw Apprentices!! Hope you enjoyed my answers, this was a very fun ask!

Time to ping you back with some of those canon questions! ):3c
☕ / 🪐 / 🎞️
EEEE thank you for the ask! I used this to flesh out some of Immuse and the latest iteration of Lyoyfa's story~!
☕️: What are the most common plots of shipping fics between you and your f/o? 🍋🟩For Immuse, many of her shipping fics with Todd explore the theme of a repetitive action/reaction changing over time as she self actualizes; ie the structure of a "5 times she didn't say i love you and 1 time she did'". Her shipping fics with Jake explore an adventure they went on together in passing multiple times as the most harrowing adventure ever but neither had gone in detail about, cheekily referencing like action movies do ("My dear muse, it'll be just like New Trallsberg!" "Oh dear."), leaving it open to interpretation and fun fanfic exploration precisely what on that experience made them so much closer!
🪐: What would be your most popular AU and why? 🍋🟩For Immuse, her most popular au is soulmate, the first words showing up when you hit maturity type, where she has none because as a cupid she is a construct. As she self actualizes and grows closers to both Todd & Jake, she gets her soulmate tattoos of their first words to her when she is a Real Girl, a moment yet to come that she looks forward to with Her Own anticipation. 🍓For Lyofya, her most popular au is a mundane college humanstuck au where her quadrants are her polycule!
🎞️: What ‘canon’ scenes would the fandom point to as evidence for the validity of your ship? 🍓For Lyofya, the scene of her slowly encroaching on Karkat's hive one day, seeking him out to bother him, surprising him with a little jumpscare and then teasing each other as she dashed away. Karkat ensuring that she is the server client for her deceased moirail. Lyofya's ghost haunting him prior to the retcon. The retcon of her death and her reconciling with him.

13,14and 22 for the personal ask game!
Hmm...
13. if you had to choose one POSITIVE word to describe yourself, what would it be?
Kind
14. do you collect anything?
Not in particular, though if I had the money I'd be collecting figurines (clichéd I know but there it is).
Otherwise I collect digital ephemera - pics, videos, articles; mostly about fandom, but not always. Then I like organising my stuff. 😄
22. who was your childhood favourite music artist?
Hmm, I don't remember having a particular fave, but I do remember once buying a Madonna CD and being very unimpressed that it was a cover!
Thanks for the ask!

Hi! I follow 'the good place' tag and saw your cry for distraction. Seeing as I don't know your blog at all, may I ask: Do you have any uncommon headcanons about tgp that you'd like to share? Additionally/Alternatively, do you have a favourite member of team cockroach? Why (are they your favourite/do you not have any favourites)? Good luck on your grades!
hey! thanks for the ask dude, even though we’ve never interacted before. I don’t talk about tgp a ton on here but it is my #1 favorite sitcom. so thanks for this opportunity to ramble a little bit 💯
this is only sort of a headcannon? it’s more of a connection I made that might not have necessarily been intentional. in the scene where jason and tahani break off their casual relationship (I think it’s from s2ep10 “best self” ?) jason starts telling a super unhinged story about robbing a pet store with his mom, then finishes it off with “it was all a dream.” but then, in s4ep8 “the funeral to end all funerals” we find out that jason’s mom actually died of cancer when he was really young. as we know, in jason’s family, commiting crimes and going through with half-baked get-rich-quick schemes was an important part of his family dynamic, and that’s basically the entire basis of his relationship with his dad.
basically, now I just can’t stop thinking about a teenage jason, who lost his mom a few years back, having a dream about doing a scheme with his mom— actually being able to bond with someone who was taken from him too soon.
I have no idea if this was intentional, but it’s canon to me lmao. he just misses his mom :(
also, it’s really cool to go through all of jason’s unhinged anecdotes from his life on Earth. everything he says connects, and just. his whole backstory is So well thought out, even when we just get tiny snippets of memories and stories throughout the series. I guess you could say that for all four of the humans, but the continuity in jason’s stories stands out most to me. this show is on another level and I love it so much
and, obviously I love all the members of team cockroach. it’s so so difficult to try to pick a favorite. they all have amazing character development throughout the show (tgp has some of my favorite character work I have ever seen), they’re all funny, and all of the actors really put their entire souls into their roles. honestly, michael is probably my favorite (ted danson is phenomenal, and all his line deliveries and mannerisms are just really entertaining to me.) but, I really do love all of them and picking a favorite is so difficult. I could write an essay on why I love each of them lmao. leaving a picture of them here as a sign off :)
#thanks again for the ask#still waiting on some of my final grades and also I just have a lot of general dread#but god the love I have for this show#I’ll probably start talking about it more on here tbh once I start it’s hard to stop#the good place#tgp

Hii I hope this ask finds you well!
May I ask what those hollow knight episodes are about? And what’s the dragonfly lore?
thank you thank you, I'm doing alright <3
So the dragonfly lore! I am currently writing out a post going over most of that. It all is tied to a fic i have written that revolves around my vessel ocs, named Dragonfly and Unicorn-beetle. I am in the long process of editing and reworking the fic a little bit before I post it all to my ao3.
The fic may take a while, but like I said I'm making a separate hc post and it will be up soon! Very soon I promise this time XD
And about the episodes, so yeah those are all the ideas we have for our post dream no more happy ending au (it's dream no more ending except everyone lives, most everyone anyway.)
The basic summary of the series is that it follows the main siblings, and the citizens of Hallownest as they rebuild the fallen kingdom and adjust to their new lives, make new friendships, go on little adventures together and so on. Mostly episodic with some overarching plotlines throughout.
It's been a ton of fun working on it with my sisters, we're almost finished, I believe. There are so many characters to work with we've come up with so many ideas. It's insane XD
Anyway there are too many episodes to summarize them all in one post, I could give a summary of the first few here and expand on it in separate posts, or if there is any particular title that stands out to you, you can ask about that individual one?
New ask game- idea -thing- possibly..?
We'll see how it goes. here's the first couple episode summaries~
#Hollow knight#Adventures of New Hallownest#Idk#I need a proper tag for that#Thanks again for the ask#!!

Hello this my first ask about a question and is that if you have a bio of Rory? I don't know much about her story and I really want to know about her and her family.
Hi, thank you so much for the ask and your interest in Rory!
Unfortunately, I don't really have an honest to goodness bio on her, generally I just sort of sprinkle bits about her throughout the fics I write, and the stuff I do have about her in old edits is sort of outdated now as she has progressed as a character.
I can see if I can find a good template around and make a Rory bio specific edit since it's about time I made a new one just for her, and I can tag you in it :)

I like the idea of them being parents in an Anthro AU tbh. On Rodan, since he's the brother of Godzilla and Ghidorah (i'm assuming), is he adopted or no?
Glad you liked it. Them being parents is a sweet self-indulgence of mine []~( ̄▽ ̄)~*
Bout Rodan, yes he was adopted by Dagon, Godzilla's dad. Unfortunately he died when Rodan was about three and Godzilla fourteen. So it was Godzilla who raised him with the help of Anguirus. To this day they sometimes still act like his parents.
And about Ghidorah, they don't get along much. Him and Ni quarrels and annoys each other a lot and Ghidorah as a whole thinks he's too rowdy and irresponsable. Although they can at times be friends.
Rodan thinks they aren't good enough for his amazing older brother. He doesn't vibe with their mean and a bit stuck-up attitude.
