"I shouldn't have come here." Mumbled Sakura.

1) "I shouldn't have come here," mumbled Sakura.

2) He'd known it would be a terrible idea to go to the festival, but he had given in to his friends' requests anyway.

3) "We'll all meet up at 10pm to watch the fireworks, alright?" Nirei had promised, and Sakura had been foolish enough to arrive early.

4) Now all he could do was stand off to the side and watch the families pass by, smiling and laughing and enjoying their time together.

5) He'd even caught glimpses of several of his classmates spending the festival night with their own families prior to their plan to all hang out and watch fireworks.

6) A hollow feeling settled in his heart as the realization set in that everyone else had someone to go home to....and Sakura, at the end of the day, would always be alone.
