#you may be wondering why I put so much effort into this #I'm curious too funny how these things happen sometimes #anyways I think omega has jets on his back that would let him fly but consider: he wants to Look Cool #shadow the hedgehog #rouge the bat #omega e123 #sxsg #sonic x shadow generations #team dark #sxsg spoilers #sonic #idk how long I need to tag spoilers but I'll be nice #comic #having the camera shifted towards shadow for the middle bit was a Mistake #he is soooo much harder to draw than rouge asl;dkfj #like one degree off on the eyes and it becomes unviable I swear #except for profiles ironically that first panel was easy as hell #looking back on this I love how I Completely changed how I drew rouge's wings after the first panel #I think the difference was I just swapped refs and her character model was different lol #meanwhile I'm just blatantly cheating shadow's wings for the middle panel purely to fit them in at all #I truly love how oversized they are except for when I'm trying to make a readable composition #yet another reason he should've been back to the camera rather than facing it in the middle but so it goes #my art #doodles

etho redesign is going good, im very happy with my thoughts and the vibes i got so far. still got to iron out the details and nail down some more situational changes to his design, but i like this.

mostly im trying to go for a kind of vagabond vibe with the coat, and have the hood, fluff, and shoulder padding of the jacket do a lot of the work in making his frame larger and more 'intimidating'. i haven't gotten it right how i want yet, i still dont really have a hold on what i want his shirt under there too look like so im not posting any of those drawings yet, but i DO really want him taking off the jacket to take away a lot of his extra bulk and make him a lot smaller, less imposing, less 'strong' looking. im getting there lol

OmatiCon is holding an art contest and one of the categories was to make some fanart of their little mascot "Teyvì", so here's my entry. Definitely not as polished as I would've liked because I was rushing like mad to get it done by the deadline, but hey it's something!

#he has sooooo manyyyy leeeeegs 😭#i've never tried to do a hexapedal run cycle before; it was an interesting challenge. that's a loooot of legs to keep track of ;w;#all things considered I think the legs turned out ok though #but on the other hand i'm reeeeally not satisfied with his funky side feather things...their size is inconsistent #and it feels like they freeze weirdly when he pushes forward #would've spent more time fixing them if I had enough of said time to spend but alas #was also originally planning to give his hooves the darker color #as well as shade the legs on the far side of the body to maybe make it a tad more readable #but again. like i said. deadline 😅#oh well #my art #animation
