I hc that every morning when alan wakes up and steps outside the garage, there are around 10 campus cats waiting for him to feed them.

It started with him feeding only one cat (probably gave it some of the chicken he was having for lunch). But then, the next day, there were now TWO OF THEM waiting for him..... the cats just kept multiplying each passing day......

hybrid blade who is leashed in public, always. it's a rare occurrence to go out and take him with you (as he, a tall, brooding wolf hybrid becomes quite the spectacle). he doesn't fight you when you hook the leash in the ring of his collar with shaking hands. you see a flash of the tag, his name on the front, your name and contact information on the back. the metal is scratched up from how often blade fidgets with it, whether it's on or off of his neck.

however obedient blade is in private, he is a menace in public. he looms over you, lingering a step behind you, orbiting you with each step. he growls when anyone looks at you for too long. you don't need to hold the leash tight, but you wind it around your palm anyways. you worry the leather of it. you see the look blade garners, you see the looks he gives bystanders to your relationship. venemous and angry, even at a distance. god forbid they come within six feet of you.

these jaunts are kept short for your own sake.

by the time you're home, you're worn and stress from having to gently cow blade's instinct. knowing when to click your tongue when he growls, flinching when he bares his teeth at you. you end up with bruises on your wrist and waist from how he likes to touch and keep you close. it's too much, but what could you do about it? how are you to stop a wolf who has decided that you are to be the treat within his jaws at will?

blade always keeps you in bed after an outing. you're always-- so tired. blade says you smell that way. he also makes a few other barbed comments about your scent. you don't smell like you-- you smell like the stores you wandered in. the checkout clerk who brushed her fingers against yours when you handed her coins to pay for pastries and drinks for you and blade. you smell like the perfume of a well-dressed man who eyed you for too long, and walked a little too close.

blade can't have that. you know this.

he'll keep you in bed, yours or his, until he decides you smell enough like home again. his home.

I made the mistake of rewatching Hunter x Hunter before bed because I'm being violently reminded how much I fuckin go feral over Uvogin.

Danny consults Tucker on updating the park mascots so they're more appropriate for the modern day and still be ok for kids. Tucker, being the resident furry (which is canon), delivers. The characters are Wilfred Wolf, Robby Raccoon, Benson Beagle, Samson Skunk, and Hudson Hare. The mascots actually have their own attractions in the park on the kid's side

Yeah that checks out. Honestly really love Tucker being a furry, it’s so funny. I bet Wilfred is the hottest one. Robby is the second hottest and she and Samson are the only girl mascots.

beeg wolf hybrid blade who acts SO aloof and uninterested in you. never gives you the time of day despite opening your home to him, cooking him meals, giving him a warm bed (though, half the time you find him in napping in your own but you think he might kill you for even mentioning it).

he acts like he could care less about you... unless you leave the house for more than an hour or two. god forbid you come home smelling like anyone else. then he's all over you. cornering you so quick and scenting, growling and grumbling-- 'where have you been?' and 'you should've been home sooner'. the moment he's done and satisfied? he throws you into bed for an impromptu nap where he's your personal weighted blanket (which effectively keeps you pinned and unable to move).

and the one time you try to tease him about how clingy he gets after you've been out? oh he gives you such a look. looms above you with hands planted on either side of your head and it hits how small he makes you feel. it's worsened when he levels his lips to your neck, dragging his canines across your throat, and tells you, "do you not understand your place?"

and you realize that, perhaps, you don't.

I am heartbroken and frothing at the mouth that I have yet to see anyone on Tumblr mentioning the YT animation Bun hunting: overture

You'd think a furry animation inspired by 30-60's cartoons with a lot of fanservice would be popular here (for one reason or another)

It's barely 3 minutes long but I'm IN LOVE

with the animation style. Yeah

I wish I was in the mindspace to talk more about it bc this animation made me happier than I can say rn and it deserved a ramble but anyway

There's just something about seeing the old (obviously(?) Song of the south-inspired) Disney 2D animated style done SO WELL in this era that made me really happy and even so short it seems so cute and promising and all of it is SO WELL DONE

I would give anything for this to be longer but I'm so happy with what we got. I hope Piti Yindee and the team get to do more with it eventually
