[3:37 PM] + space/interstellar inspired + wooyoung + "please just come home. i need you to come home."
a/n: 2k words, angst, don't really need to have watched interstellar, just know that love transcends dimensions, time, space, and relativity
-
tick tock, tick tock, tick tock, tick tock.
each tick and each tock knocks against your skull in the otherwise quiet hallway. it's all you can hear, it's all you can see. your vision is a blur, and your hands are shaking as your grasp at your knees, and the chair you're sitting in is too fucking hard.
tick.
you are fifteen again, kicking rocks across the sidewalk as you trudge towards yet another new school. the school uniform is too tight at your collar, and your shoes are too scuffed against the pristine white of your socks. someone shoves past you, cackling at something his friend says. you stumble. he doesn't say sorry.
someone grabs your elbow. steadies you. you look up, and the boy is tan and ruffled, his buttons uneven and his tie loose, his grin askew.
he says, "what an asshole."
he sticks out his hand.
"the name's wooyoung. jung wooyoung."
you smile.
tock.
you are nineteen again. you are in a long dried up cornfield, screaming, "wooyoung sit the fuck down!"
his laughter is loud, boisterous, echoing through the fields as he clings to the back of the pickup truck. the kite he spent months upon months modifying in his parent's old shed zips above the speeding truck as it plows through dried corn husks.
"faster mingi!"
"no don't you dar -" you screech when mingi slams on the gas, grabbing wooyoung's free hand over the console even as mingi's deep laugh joins wooyoung's, even as his kite flies. wooyoung cuts the cord and it flies. it flies on its own. it soars. you haven't seen anything like it in a while. wind whips at your face. you let out a terrified laugh, eyes watering. wooyoung squeezes your hand back, even as he grins down at both of you.
tick.
you are twenty-three again.
"do you think there's a point to this anymore?" you ask. your throat is itchy and dry - but that is common nowadays, when the very earth has become a dried up husk of what it once was, and dust settles over everything, even the inside of everyone's lungs.
wooyoung stays his hand against the door handle and turns to look at you. you're both needed at the office - wooyoung is a top researcher and you run the hr department and you know the point is to save earth from its impending doom, but you could not help but ask. just last week, you two had seen footage of a brawl break out over a measly basket of food.
"we have to keep trying, don't we?"
"i suppose we do," you mumble.
tock.
you are twenty five again, sitting in a conference room with the few people left who decided to keep trying. professor hongjoong's words ring through the silence.
"the last people to starve will be the first to suffocate," hongjoong says. "but we can still save humanity. there is a wormhole - born from a gravitational anomaly next to saturn - and it can take us to a different universe. one that could have a planet that can sustain life."
"sustain us." mingi says in awe.
the excitement is clear in his deep voice. and when you look to wooyoung, it lights up his eyes, his face, the same way the kite had in that dried up cornfield when you were nineteen. your heart clenches.
this is a room full of scientists and researchers, professor hongjoong and mingi and wooyoung, choi san, and kang yeosang, whose need to try far outweighs whatever survival extincts had convinced everyone else to long abandon this effort. you are merely a human resources representative, meant to sit and do paperwork professor hongjoong or senior analyst seonghwa could not be bothered with.
"how do we know if it can?" you ask, your voice echoing in the room. all eyes flit to you. "you said could have. how do we know for certain that there is a planet that can sustain life, let alone us?"
"we need a team to go in first."
hongjoong looks around the room.
his smile falters.
"there's a catch, isn't there?" san leans onto his elbows against the conference table. yeosang's brows furrow. you find your gaze flitting to wooyoung.
"the wormhole has a massive gravitational pull. i don't know what it will do, or how this will turn out. time will become relative. an hour there could be years here or vice versa. but i need a team of four researchers out there who understand that, who understand the importance of this mission, and who are willing to go into the unknown for humanity. the data you collect from that black hole will give us the ability to fuel humanity's escape. the rest of us will prepare here and help you however we can."
"we get to go through a wormhole?" wooyoung asks, and the childlike glee is endearing, if it were not for the heavy weight settling on your chest.
hongjoong nods, grinning.
tick.
twenty two again, and wooyoung holds a hand out to you, threads his fingers through yours, and the two of you peer up at the night sky. he says, "it's beautiful, isn't it?"
"you think everything is beautiful."
you feel his eyes on your face. you look at him. he looks at you as if you are the stars he's always been so fascinated by. your heart skips a beat. he just hums in agreement.
tock.
twenty six again. you find wooyoung nervously tapping his fingers against the cafeteria table and staring off into space. his thermal spacesuit is folded neatly in front of him. san gets to his feet when he sees you. he shakes his head before you can say anything, and pats your shoulder as he moves past you, leaving you and wooyoung alone.
you sit across from him. he keeps drumming his fingers against the table.
"excited?" you ask.
he leaves tomorrow.
he meets your gaze, and his shoulders loosen a bit. he nods, "and nervous."
"me too." you say.
wooyoung peers at you, as if he's memorizing your face. you don't like the thought of that. after a beat, he asks, "what do you think is worse? staying or leaving?"
"i don't know. staying feels pretty shitty right now."
"you could ask me, you know." wooyoung's fingers still against the table. "to stay."
you laugh, "i could never."
he is born for this. to soar. to explore. he loves you, you know it, you've always known it, even without either of you ever saying it, but he loved learning, he loved the pursuit of knowledge, more.
wooyoung lets out his own shaky laugh.
tick.
twenty five again, and you're standing with your arms crossed over hongjoong's desk, ignoring seonghwa and jongho's presence in the corner.
"let me go, too."
"no, you're a liability."
"i work here too."
"you do paperwork, y/n. what the hell could you possibly do on a spaceship?"
"then why the hell did you let me in that room?" your voice rises, and your chest hurts, and suddenly all the anger and fear you've felt since that meeting bursts from your chest. you bang your hands on his table, and you say, "why the hell are you telling me what's going to happen? why the hell am i being kept in the loop when i have no say in any of this?"
hongjoong's gaze flicks from your face to your curled, shaking fists. he doesn't say anything.
"please, let me go with them."
"no."
you open your mouth. you want to say, then don't let him go. but you can't. you cannot.
you could never.
hongjoong's gaze softens. he says, "if you go with him, he won't have a reason to come back. he won't fight for it. he'll stay out there forever. he belongs out there. i need wooyoung to fight to come back, no matter what happens out there."
you press your hand to your mouth, you say, "and if that's not enough?"
hongjoong just shakes his head, "you are. you have to be."
tock.
you aren't.
seonghwa opens the door in front of you.
the ticking stops as abruptly as the door opens.
seonghwa looks at you with furrowed brows and gentle eyes, and he holds out a hand you do not take. you pants crumple in the death grip you have on your knees.
you are much older now then you had been when you helped wooyoung put on his space suit. he'd held your hands between his for a long, long time, until yeosang clapped his hand on wooyoung's back, and said it was time to go.
it's been twenty-two years since then.
wooyoung's face takes up the entirety of the command center's screen. the room is empty, except for hongjoong. he gets up from the chair, and lets you take it. the door to the command center room clicks shut behind you.
wooyoung hasn't aged a day.
"an hour on the planet they've landed on is seven years on ours," jongho told you quietly when he came to pick you up this morning.
it's only been a few hours for him.
"y/n?" he says, and his voice cracks into a million pieces. you want to pick up all those pieces as best as you can, but you can't. you are too far away. he doesn't exist in the same time as you.
"am i that unrecognizable?"
he is the size of the moon, and that is only half of how you see him. you'd started to forget how he looked.
he shakes his head, blinking rapidly, and he says, "you look better than ever."
"can't say the same thing about you."
he lets out another laugh. his voice is filled with crackles, with static, but it is the same boisterous laugh it's always been.
he says, "did they tell you what's happened?"
you nod, swallowing the lump in your throat, "you're stranded there."
"there's another ship, from a previous expedition."
"is it far?"
"it's only a kilometer out."
"are you going to come back?"
wooyoung closes his eyes, then. he opens his eyes, his brown eyes soft and sad and so so sorry, but so full of the resolve you'd always loved and will continue to love. "i have to keep trying."
"please, just come home," you say, you beg really. twenty-two years ago, you could never. but now, you whisper, voice breaking around the lump in your throat, "i need you to come home."
wooyoung brushes at his eyes with the back of his hand. he bites his lip, and he says, "i have to finish this."
"okay," you say, because that's all you can say.
but you never know if he finishes it or not. you never know if he comes home or not.
tick tock.
you are twenty again, and a book flies off wooyoung's bookshelf. another one. another one.
you frown at wooyoung, baffled, really at his intrigue, though you can't help but smile at the way he paces. you sit on the floor watching him. he shrugs his coat off and places it gently over your crossed legs before he starts pacing again. mingi peers in from behind the door, a plate of snacks in his hand, "are you both done messing with the ghosts?"
you shake your head. mingi rolls his eyes and leaves.
that night, wooyoung shakes you awake from the floor. you'd fallen asleep and he must have tucked a pillow under your head at some point. he whisper-shouts, "this is binary code, y/n. the books. they fell out in code."
you blink away sleep, "what?"
"they're coordinates."
"to where?"
wooyoung lifts his bright phone screen to your face. you squint, blinded by the light, before you read, "AZ Space Station? why there?"
wooyoung shrugs.
"so," you sit up, "we're going, aren't we?"
wooyoung grins, clasping your face between his hands in excitement as he nods. you grin back, laughing.
tick tock.

Screw it, Euclydia headcanons
Scalene and Euclid are flawed. Hopefully differently flawed from Stan's parents, but flawed. Scalene treats Bill the way you might treat a kid with terminal cancer, ie, spoiling him rotten, “there's nothing wrong with you!” Even when he is in the wrong, etc. Euclid thinks this is insane, Billy is sick, and babying him won't make him better. He's distant thanks to his job and the stress of having an impossible child, but when he is here, he's usually fighting with Scalene about Bill's condition.
I'm trying not to go full SCP Foundation with the Department of Vision Supervision. At most, they should be around the “Hawkins Power and Water” guys in early Stranger Things. If possible, I like to keep it ambiguous whether they actually know about the third dimension or if they just think the mutation itself is dangerous (I applaud @ckret2 for going against the grain and doing away with the conspiracy angle altogether, but I need an antagonist).
Technology in Euclydia is limited: Radios instead of television, no cameras or printers, etc. What good is a screen if you can't turn to face it?
Inputting "history" on thisisnotawebsitedotcom.com has a chance of displaying a quote by Plato: "Geometry existed before the creation." I took this to mean that Euclydians are Platonic ideals, more living concepts than proper organisms. This explains how Bill transcended physical existence entirely. How much of their insides are matter and how much is math? Who knows? (This also handwaves any questions about interspecies reproduction should you choose to go that route).
"Three sips a day" is a child's dose of the medication from when Bill was around four years old. He's supposed to be taking more by the time of the incident, but again, spoiled rotten.
Bill is one trillion years old. That is considerably older than our universe. Thus, his homeworld is from before our universe. Did Euclydia's destruction trigger our big bang? Time Baby's goons aren't keen on finding out, even if that means letting the Beast With One Eye exist unimpeded.
I agree with @giulliadella about "the fun zone" being some kind of reproductive orifice. It explains why Bill consistently reacts to questions about his side length the way we would about genitalia.
Scalene is the blue one, Euclid is the red one (This is so Bill looks like his dad when he's angry).
Because Euclydians can only move in 2D, they are completely unused to fighting gravity. IDK how it would work on a 2D plane, but Earth gravity is too much for them (maybe this had something to do with the Massacre?)
Irregularity is tolerated to an extent, but past a certain point it's like being born with a bum leg: people pity you and can't stop staring. "Irregular Psychosis" is also still a term people use, despite the fact that it's been proven shape /=/ mental state. "Well of course it doesn't HAVE to mean that, but people with different sides have physically different brains to work with. It's just biology!"
I'd LOVE for their language to be properly alien, but first I have to figure out how a properly alien language would work. I tried mapping each letter of the color code to a different pitched tone, but that falls apart when you remember they have music.
When Bill was alone, he would try with everything he had to force himself "up." This only resulted in him spazzing around like Emmett from the Lego Movie trying to move in the real world. He only managed to leave Euclydia when there was no more Euclydia.

The Upside Down is a tesseract.
(time theory)
The writers tweeted a picture of the book Wrinkle in Time, which its title refers to a tesseract. You may ask, what's a tesseract? The basis is that a tesseract is a fifth dimension (the fourth dimension is time). Even in the book, to explain it, they use the same metaphor that they used in Stranger Things about the flea.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here they're only using this concept to travel through dimensions. In ST, creating gates with so much power that tore space and time. And in the book, in a very similar way, to make a shortcut go to point A to point B.
We know that El has the power to create these gates, so Vecna is interested in her. And she also was the one who sent Henry to another dimension for the first time. But if you pay attention, this dimension didn't look like the Upside Down, so it makes me believe that these aren't the same place.
One is blue with spores and looks like Hawkins on November sixth, 1983, the day Willl disappeared (remember that the Duffers said this was important, and they will explain it in s5). And the other has warm colors and looks like a desert with many rocks.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
My theory is that Will created the Upside Down while trying to hide from the Demogorgon. As in Wrinkle in Time, not everyone has the power of tesser. And Will manipulated time and space to create this fifth dimension.
We have seen how the Upside Down can affect the real world via the lights. They use light particles to communicate with others. A similar way that Interstellar uses the strings in the fifth dimension (also a tesseract). But in Stranger Things, they have only used it to communicate in the same period of time (the present), but what if there's a way to also communicate to other periods of time (the past)?
In Interstellar, the tesseract is an enormous structure used to communicate through gravity. Still, it's Copper's love for his daughter that allows him to see her in the past and communicate with her in this exact period. Because the premise of the movie is love transcends time and space.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
ST also uses the trope of the power of love. So where I'm going with this? Our heroes will find a way to communicate with their past selves to try to prevent things, but I don't think they will be able to change the past even if they try.
My reason to believe that they will also play with time is that our villain literally has a clock motif and is obsessed with time. Also, there have been some references about time travel. And going back to season 1, the night Will disappeared, the lights in Mike's house were flickering. And the light in Will's bike also started to flicker, so he was able to notice the Demogorgon. Maybe it also was a warning. Still, if we continue with this theory, Vecna was living in the other dimension, not in the Upside Down, so he wasn't the one manipulating the lights because Will hadn't created it "yet." So who was behind the flickering? Our heroes in the future.
This isn't a new theory; I know this is the basis of flickergate. It's cute the idea that they were kissing in the Upside Down, but I think they were trying to prevent Will from leaving. Like in Interstellar, Cooper uses Morse code to send the message "STAY" But in both cases, they couldn't stop it.
Remember the iconic scene with Joyce and the Christmas lights, when she painted an alphabet, and someone warned her to RUN. Some people had questioned how Will was able to see the letters when the Upside Down was stuck on the day he disappeared. So, what if it wasn't the Will who was stuck in the UD and was someone from the future that was trying to save her (maybe Will but his future self).
There may be more examples of lights flickering, but these are the two that I remember right now.
Also, we know that Will could call his house via the phone. And in season 2, when they discovered that the way to defeat the Mindflayer was by closing the gate, the phone started to ring, so Will knew he was in the Byers' house. Maybe Vecna also will figure out how to use the Upside Down and try to intercept their plan, calling the house at that time.
Bonus: Arrival was in the s4 movie list inspiration. A movie that also plays with the concept that time is non-linear. The key to communicating with the aliens is understanding how they perceive time. You can read more about it in this analysis of the movie.
In conclusion: The Upside Down is a fifth dimension (a tesseract) where you can communicate with others dimensions, not only in the present.

They Were College Lab Partners (Full Modern Day AU Story)
A Modern day AU of Entrapdak where our two scientists are young adult college students in Astrophysics who are required to go and view a very popular and scientifically sound science-fiction film for a required class. Hordak is sure that this younger classmate is not dedicated to the course, but his opinion changes as the two lab partners view their film.  This is the finished product and I hope you all enjoy! I might write more Entrapdak stuff and shorter drabbles in the future!!
“Ooooh this is going to be so much FUN!”
Fun.
Hardly the word that Hordak would use to describe the situation that he had been dealt. He simply could not stand the fact that he, a second year classman, was going to have to babysit one of the new students. Granted, the other second year students also had to take partners, but why did he have to get this one?
Entrapta was bouncing, actually bouncing, as the two students left the large auditorium hall. Her long purple tinted hair pulled into brilliantly flowing ponytails was bouncing behind her as she eagerly followed Hordak down the hall.
“My name’s Entrapta! Wait, didn’t I already say that? Yes, yes I did!” She proclaimed, having stopped in her contemplation, she had to jog to catch up to Hordak who remained silent to her inquiries and particularly obnoxious tone. He simply shook his head,
“Hordak.” His response was fairly flat, as his mind had drifted. Here was yet another example of someone who was simply taking a filler course for their Astrophysicist graduate program. There was simply no way this girl would ever survive the year.
“Hey do you know where this movie is playing at? I mean it’s a requirement for the lecture tomorrow to view it!” She inquired, pulling out a small notebook she kept in one of the many pockets she had on her purple tinted cargo pants.
“At the local cinema, since it’s required we get in for free.”
“Oh that is fan-TASTIC!” She exclaimed, jumping in the air behind him. If Hordak didn’t have any self control, his entire head would have rolled with his eyes to her ridiculous amount of sheer enthusiasm.
“I’ve heard a lot about this Interstellar. It’s supposed to be centralized around Einstein’s theory of relativity!”  This caused Hordak to raise his brow in curiosity, though Entrapta would hardly have known that as she continued to follow behind his seven foot tall visage. So she did a bit of research before the showing. His thoughts blocking out any words that Entrapta was speaking, until she spoke his name did he actually respond.
“What about you Hordak? Have you seen the movie before? What did you think of it?!” She asked eagerly, pulling a small tape recorder from one of the pockets on her other leg, offering the device up to Hordak’s shoulders as he turned his head over his shoulders. “I saw it the first day of its release,” He could practically hear her entire body expand as she gasped in excitement. “Interstellar is definitely themed around relativity, I certainly hope you can keep up.”
“Oh I know I can keep up, trust me! I’ve done plenty of research reading the online reviews, though I was careful to avoid spoilers! I hate having films spoiled for me!”
------------------------------------------
Entrapta and Hordak spent a few minutes outside of the cinema, the former buying a few snacks for the movie. Her indulgences into the film’s theorized meaning had reared the knowledge that Interstellar was approximately almost three hours long. The need for fuel for the sake of science was a must! She was simply shocked that Hordak had not decided to purchase anything outside of a simple drink. The later waved his hand, mentioning he was going to go and find a place to sit in the theater before the film started. Entrapta would excitedly respond back that she’d be right there, but she needed to get one more thing.
Hordak had partially decided to go and choose seats to see who else was in the theater with them. To his bemusement, aside from a few couples and the few older people, the cinema was practically empty. He sighed, resolving to pick a seat in the center of the theater for optimal immersion. He waited patiently, that was until he heard the rustling of candy bags and boots against the carpeted floor. His attention turned to Entrapta, as her brightly colored hair was even more brightly illuminated by the massive screen.
Hordak sighed, hoping that perhaps she would have actually lost interest, but waved a hand slightly to catch her attention. She bounced (again) when she saw his wave, eagerly moving to the seat beside him and settling in as the previews began. Entrapta opened her tiny candy bags as quietly as she could before she turned her attention to Hordak.
“Oh yeah, I saw this at the counter out there.” Her voice was significantly quieter, at least she could tone herself down a bit, that was a relief. Though Hordak’s thoughts quickly vanished from his mind as Entrapta casually handed him a handful of a tiny crunchy bars she had seen him snacking on in one of the first days of class. He looked back at her blankly, before taking the candy and offering a soft smile, nodding his head and turning to watch the film.
--------------------------------------
Entrapta was quite engulfed in the film, but not so engulfed that she couldn’t take notes! This was hardly ever unnoticed by Hordak, as every so often he could see his pigtailed companion hunched over and writing something in the dim light of the theater. He had to admit, the longer that the film went on and the scenes progressed, all of which he knew, his respect began to rise. She wasn’t just faking a passion for science.
This became even more prominent in the initial scenes of the film, in which the protagonists left the safety of Earth’s embrace for the cold and unforgiving reality of space. Having seen the film before, he remembered the tension of the scene vividly and he found himself glancing over at Entrapta more than the characters. Watching her reactions, he could see that wide eyed curiosity and strive for adventure, for the unknown.
Entrapta’s eyes hardly ever diverted from the entire docking procedure on screen. She had to absorb all of this information! The accurate display of zero-gravity, the concept of safely and securely latching onto the Endurance without causing a massive explosion from immediate decompression! There was simply so much that was entering her mind and the smile on her face showed just how much she truly enjoyed this movie.
--------------------------------------
“Those aren’t mountains. They’re waves.”
“Oh of course!” Entrapta muttered to herself, though quietly enough that none of the neighboring patrons could hear her, aside from Hordak. “Of course a planet orbiting a black hole would have a massive gravitational pull, and without a moon to regulate a tide, it makes total sense for the planet to be a massive moving ball of condensed water!”
Hordak felt a genuine smile crawl across his face, having watched her reactions on and off for the entire first hour of the film, he had to admit, she seemed to be legitimate in her fascination with science and her enrollment in the program. Unlike the others who dared to think outside of the box, Entrapta seemed to hardly be able to think inside the box. Her mind flowing like her brilliantly long purple hair; Hordak’s respect for her grew and his stoic position in the cinema changed to a more relaxed one, snacking on the candy bars Entrapta had brought for him.
-----------------
“I am drawn across the universe to someone who I haven’t seen in a decade, who I know is probably dead. Love is the one thing that we are capable of perceiving that transcends dimensions of time and space. Maybe we should trust that, even if we can’t fully understand it yet.”
“...Well that’s not very scientific.” Entrapta remarked flatly, the comment definitely loud enough for some of the other patrons to hear.
There was a sudden chortle as she peered off to her side, where Hordak’s hunched over form sat. His hand raised to his mouth to stifle a laugh that she managed to stir from the normally unbreakable man. She laughed slightly, only to be shushed by someone sitting behind her.
The two lab partners quickly righted themselves in their chairs, taking a drink from their respective beverages to act as nonchalant as possible.
The movie continued on, tracking to a frozen wasteland of a planet where the plot took a turn, as the crew member stranded on that planet revealed that there was never a plan to save the people back on Earth, and that starting a new colony amongst the stars was humanity’s only hope of survival. The betrayal that followed soon after elicited a scowl from Entrapta as she watched the stranded astronaut turn from genius scientist, to crazed man driven to do the unthinkable by loneliness.
The plotline was seen from a mile away by Entrapta, and obviously by Hordak but what Entrapta didn’t see coming was the pursuit that the protagonists made after the now rouge astronaut. He was attempting to maroon the protagonists on a lifeless planet in order to save humanity, but a particularly clever robot on board had disabled the airlock override feature of the Endurance. She felt her entire body shift forward as the scene played out, the rogue astronaut ignoring the warnings and opening the hull. What happened next was exactly what Entrapta’s scientific mind predicted.
Decompression.
Her eyes closed slightly, relaxing in her seat as she nodded her head, confirming to herself that she saw that coming a mile away. Hordak had seen how her posture had changed and he smirked, turning his head back to the screen as an unexpected line caught Entrapta’s attention.
“Analyze the Endurance’s spin.”
“Cooper what are you doing?”
“Docking.”
Entrapta sat straight up in her seat, her hair bouncing as she pulled her feet up into the chair with her. Her eyes glued to the screen as the intense docking sequence passed. Her eyes never leaving the screen, and her heart pounding in her chest as the characters were analyzing their situation and how to do it.
“Of course! Synchronizing with the Endurance’s rotation is the only way to safely dock, but gravitational forces would knock both of them unconscious, how is it possible?” Entrapta was of course talking to herself, mumbling so incoherently that even Hordak couldn’t understand what she was saying, but he could almost swear that he could see the gears turning inside her head as the scene unfolded.
He could tell by how intensely she focused on the screen, her eyes jumping from place to place in the frames as they passed. Hordak knew exactly how the scene played out, and watching the live reaction of someone this enthusiastic about science and exploration of the unknown made the scene that much more satisfying.
As the crew successfully docked with the Endurance and set into motion their final plan, Entrapta’s mind was racing. She finally pulled her knees down, taking the notepad and paper back into her hands and eagerly made notes on what she had just witnessed, as well as listening to the plot of the film as it carried on. Though after the crew in the film performed a sling-shot maneuver around the black hole, she lost a bit of interest.
Oh well! It enabled her to make better notes! The rest of the film wasn’t as set into scientific reality, as everyone that Entrapta was aware of knew that going into a black hole would mean a very very uncomfortable and sudden death.
As the film ended, the emotional core having only a small effect on Entrapta, she carefully collected the multitude of candy wrappers she had scattered on the floor in the excitement of the film’s climax. As the lights returned, Hordak was able to truly see how many notes Entrapta had taken during the course of the film. It was an impressive, two and a half notebook page fulls.
After Entrapta had collected all of her things, stuffing various items into her multitude of pockets, Hordak offered out his hand. “Here, I’ll take some of the wrappers.”
“Oh thank you so much, I really need to try and jot down a few more notes before I forget them!”
Entrapta practically threw the items at Hordak, who had no problem catching them and taking them to the recycling bin. He watched as Entrapta was able to miraculously navigate herself down the stairs and towards the exit door. His eyes did a double take, diverting from the section that the two were formerly sitting in, to her current location. There was, stairs and turns and she managed to navigate down to the exit without crashing into something. His brow twitching slightly, this girl was almost scarily impressive.
He caught up to her with ease, matching her stride as she finished taking her notes. A heavy sigh left her chest as she held the notebook tightly to her chest, a smile brighter than that of the sun beaming from her face. Hordak looked down at her, a small smile forming on the corner of his lips as Entrapta raised her eyes to meet his.
“Thank you for being my partner. Nobody else seemed to want to.” Her words were soft, much softer than her otherwise normally bubbly personality.
Hordak lifted his head, nodding in response. “The pleasure is mine Entrapta.” He paused, raising a hand
in a soft gesture. “Now let’s discuss how the film can be translated to our studies.”
Entrapta giggled, bouncing in her walk and eagerly began to jot off ideas as the pair discussed their way into their own little world of science and discovery.

This Age Brings Forth The ReUnion Of The Twin Flames In Order To Restore The Unity Of Creation And Collapse Duality.
{author unknown | edited for length + clarity}
The ideas presented here come from the perspective of the original author's experience in the process of Fusion of the Twin Flame and is not intended to qualify or disqualify the experiences of others.
The Union of the Twin Flame is one of service, which is not to be romanticized in the context by which one perceives the male and female relationship. The service of the Twin Flame is not only for the planet but also Cosmic and Universal.
The Twin Flame has a great challenge before them for their Union needs to accomplish surrender of ego to their One Essence.
1. One Essence
The Twin Flame originates from the same One Essence which was created by Father/Mother God from the Ocean of Love. That One Essence divided itself into two exactly equal and opposite intonations in order to experience form. In the beginning they remained always united as a perfect sphere with one center of gravity and one common equator or Zero Point ... However, as the three-dimensional experience unfolded they became separated in a dualistic system which pulled them into an unbalanced equilibrium expressing itself through two extended and separated forms. The Twin Flames are now coming back into unification through all dimensional frequencies in order to restore the Unity of God's Creations and collapse duality. Accordingly, there exists only ONE true tonal mate of the Twin Flame which is expressed in a male and female form ... the exact equal and opposite frequency intonation.
It is important to make the distinction between a Twin Flame and a soulmate. There exists only one pair of partners who are Twin Flames, which is not a disposable union ... for the Essence of it can never be replaced with another mate. Contrarily, soulmates come in many different forms and different intonations ... for a soulmate is anyone with whom you have had a past life experience.
2. Tonal Mates
We recently came across a very unique manner in which to explain or illustrate the concept of the Twin Flame.
In the book, "The Universal One", by Walter Russell he explains the principle of tonal mates in terms of chemical reactions.
Accordingly, it is stated ... that if we create a chemical union between the male action sodium (Na) which has an intonation of 601+ of the sixth octave ... and the female selenium (Se) which has an intonation of 702- of the next octave ... we have an unequal and unstable union of opposites.
Now, if either mate in an unequal and unstable union finds a more equal tonal mate it will leave the former and go to the latter.
Accordingly, the introduction of the female chemical iodine (I) which has an intonation of 801- of the eighth octave ... will cause sodium to leave selenium and combine with the iodine to form the more stable compound of sodium-iodide (NaI).
However, if we introduce into this new union the female chemical bromide (Br) which has an intonation of 701- of the seventh octave ... the sodium will leave iodine to form sodium-bromide (NaBr) ... an even more stable compound.
Finally, by the introduction of the female chlorine (Cl) which is the true tonal mate of sodium with an intonation of 601- of the sixth octave ... sodium will leave bromide to form the very stable compound sodium-chloride (NaCl).
Once the true tonal mates have come into union ... NO element from any octave whatsoever can displace chlorine from its union with sodium.
As the Twin Flame are true tonal mates originating from the same One Essence ... they are Divinely United by the Breath of God. Thus, we may have a new understanding to the words:
That Which God Has Joined Together
Let No Man Put Asunder.
3. Service
Many people idealize and romanticize the concept of the Twin Flame, however, the Union of the Twin Flame is carefully orchestrated by the Divine Mind in order to bring together a direct and exponential frequency impact through all dimensions and planes of this local Universe.
Do not expect candlelight dinners and bouquets of roses in this union ... that is not its purpose. This is a union which transcends all definitions of male/female unions on this planet. The Divine purpose for the union of the Twin Flame is to create the Harmonic Intonation of Completion and to be at service ... planetary service, cosmic service and universal service. Thus, personal preferences, relationships and perceived obligations may be thrust aside so that absolute service to the Divine Plan becomes the ONLY reality of the Twin Flame. When we take the Twin Flame beyond the human perception ... we see the potential of a tremendous force of Divine Action.
Are You Prepared To Serve?
4. Inner Completion
Only at the point of inner completion is it appropriate to bring together the Twin Flame. When you have reached a state of wholeness within ... you will begin to magnify your Divine Tonal Complement or Twin Flame. Thus, when you no longer feel a need for a partner ... he/she will appear.
We strongly suggest that one not jump out of a current relationship and immediately attempt a Twin Flame Union. The energetic link of the former relationship needs to be dismantled and all inharmonious frequencies associated with it need to come into equilibrium. Thereafter, a time-frame for frequency alignment of the Twin Flame needs to be a consideration. You do not want to bring old baggage into this union ... Why?
This is very important ... because when the Twin Flame comes together ... Everything is Amplified!
5. Amplification
Everything is amplified due to the Unified Field of No-Time which automatically accesses Higher Dimensional Frequencies. That which is harmonious is amplified AND that which is inharmonious is amplified. If you have not achieved Inner Fusion in Equilibrium ... everything may be blown out of proportion. Little irritants may become gigantic obstacles.
Because of this amplification ... the Twin Flame may not be able to stabilize the Union ... unless they have first achieved Inner Fusion. Even at such a point ... it is a continual challenge to remain in equilibrium as the frequency octaves increase.
When you enter a Twin Flame relationship ... the ability for the consciousness to move multi-dimensionally is common place and it must be recognized that you are not here to reenact human relationships but to act as a bridge to the Higher Dimensional Frequencies of Oneness.
You must be willing to let go immediately of inharmonious emotional reactions. Do not try to fit the Twin Flame relationship into a human context of interaction ... for it does not belong there.
If you need to get angry with your partner ... so be it ... it is just an illusion ... your identity is being challenged! However, it does not serve to remain in anger for more than five minutes ... Let go! ... It is an illusion. Do not let the mind and altered ego rationalize and justify such reactions. Remember, we are dealing with tremendous amplification here ... so seek equilibrium.
6. One Identity
The Twin Flame relationship is an Androgynous unit. This requires an adaptation in identification. You may not necessarily feel female and you may not necessarily feel male ...
As each one has completed their Inner Fusion ... there is an absence of polarity within the relationship. They are simply ONE! One Consciousness ... One Essence ...
The very nucleus of the cells of the two embodiments of the Twin Flame are fused together. They have realigned into their original sphere with one center of gravity and one common equator or Zero Point. And like the example of the union of sodium and chlorine ... they have lost their metallic qualities and become the "salt of the earth".
Allowing each one to demonstrate their ability without personal identification to the results. Without claiming the results as one's own ...
Because Nothing Is Truly Accomplished
Outside Of The Harmonic Note
Which Is Your One Essence!
7. Complementary
So, when we state that the Twin Flame is One Essence ... does this mean that they are exactly the same? Do they have the same Divine Attributes and abilities? ... Do they have the same strengths and weaknesses? ... Do they have the same likes and dislikes? THE ANSWER IS ... YES and NO!
They Are Complementary!
The Exact Equal & Opposite Intonation
The Union of Which Makes One Harmonic Overtone
The similarity is in the Harmonic Note ... and the difference is in the Opposite Intonation.
So what you will probably find is that each one carries the opposite or complimentary Divine Attributes within the Whole. Therefore, it is not to try to be what the other is ... but to allow the full expression of each one's Divine Attributes within the Union.
My partner brings information through in a vertical manner ... direct from the Source ... which is not necessarily sequential. I, on the other hand, have the ability to sort it all out in a horizontal manner to make it flow so that you can understand it ... which is complementary!
Thus, each one carries the complementary frequency of the Harmonic Note. Each one brings the complementary training and talents to support the Union and Divine Mission. Together ... they create a Unified Field of No-Time which allows it all to take place. Together they can accomplish more than they could as two separate beings. Together they multiply their powers exponentially.
There is no mistake ... the Twin Flame would not be brought together unless they had the absolute ability to complete their Mission of transcending the male and female dualities of this planetary system and bringing together the Harmonic Note of Completion. Thus, it is no longer necessary to play the purported designated roles of society ... but to fine tune the Harmonic Note of Completion through and by the Dimensional Frequencies.
8. Parallel Evolution
When the Twin Flame does unite and they begin to compare their lives ... do not be surprised at the similarity and complementarity of their evolution.
When I met my partner and we began to compare ... we found that within one to three months of each other we were enacting similar experiences. Following our Inner Guidance ... we twice moved our residences at the same time and in the same manner ... we were instructed to get rid of our furniture and detach ... we were instructed to end relationships ... and before meeting physically we experienced Fusion of Our Essence in the Higher Dimensional Embodiments.
The closer you come to Union the closer the time-frame of the parallel experiences. Remember, you are One Essence being guided by the same Source.
It does not matter where you are or what your lifestyle is ... if one is in reclusion and one is on public display ... when it is time for your Union it will happen. You do not have to go out and look for it. You do not have to wonder if every person you pass on the street is your Twin Flame. It is not in your hands to orchestrate this Union ... but it lies strictly in the hands of the Divine Mind and within your Sacred Heart and your Covenant with God.
9. Harmonic Note
Many people ask the question ... "How do I know for sure that this is my Twin Flame?"
I do not believe that this can be an externally answered question ... it is something that you will know within your Heart. The best I can hope to do is provide a Guiding Light.
We have already covered most of the points ... if you take into consideration Inner Completion ... Parallel Evolution ... Amplification ... One Identity ... Complementary Attributes and Service ... what is left?
The Harmonic Note will be the key identifying factor. Since you both originate from the same Essence ... you both carry the EXACT equal and opposite intonation. Thus, one may experience the sense of being with oneself ... alone but not al-one ... simply all ONE. The sense of Oneness is such that one does not feel as if there is another vibratory presence with them ... for the vibration is unified as ONE!
For example ... you may have, in past relationships or interaction with other people ... had to adjust your vibratory rate to accommodate others. This may have been evidenced by a need to pull back into your own space in order to attune to your own vibration and realign yourself.
In the Twin Flame relationship it is not necessary in any way to adjust your vibratory rate to accommodate the other. You are exactly the same ... vibrating to, with and within the same Essence. A unique Harmonic Note in the Ocean of Love.
Accordingly, the Twin Flame has the ability to remain in each others Presence in a Continuum of No-Time.
10. Employing Wisdom
Be aware that not all Twin Flames exist in the same dimension. Those Twins who are here on Earth have agreed to undertake this Divine Service. They have been specifically prepared to undergo this Mission.
Ultimately ... as the Earth moves into fifth dimensional alignment and the substrata of human consciousness is opened ... the Twin Flames may be reunited at other dimensional levels.
So, please, employ wisdom in assimilating this information. Do not take up a personal venture to find your Twin Flame and disrupt whatever harmonious relationships you are now in. We are here to live experiences in whatever form they may take. And if you are in a relationship and the experience is not completed ... then enjoy it!
It is not necessary that one be with their Twin Flame in order to serve the Divine Plan ... it is only necessary to follow your personal Covenant With God and ... Live the Love That You Are!

MASTERY JOURNAL
“Mankind was born on Earth.  It was never meant to die here”. This phrase plays an important sentiment in Christopher Nolan’s ninth feature film, Interstellar (2014). The film is an experience beyond the limits of our wildest imaginations. In 2006, the studio hired Jonathan Nolan to write the script for Steven Spielberg. Six years later, Spielberg had departed the project and Christopher was in search of his next film after wrapping up his Dark Knight Trilogy. He was familiar with Jonathan’s aspirations and frustrations with Interstellar, but over time he found that he too had become interested in the project from a directorial standpoint. When he learned the director’s chair was open, he simply placed a call to Paramount and offered his services.
Having made all his previous studio features at Warner Brothers, Nolan had forged warm relationships with the top executives there. Unwilling to miss out on the next project from one of their most valuable talents, Warner Brothers took the unorthodox step of co-financing Interstellar with Paramount.  As such, two of the largest studios in Hollywood backed Nolan with $175 million dollars – a large sum considering that Nolan also enjoyed a $20 million salary. The fact that Nolan ultimately brought the picture in $10 million under budget is, a testament to Nolan’s disciplined work ethic and goodwill towards his financiers.  Interstellar finds Nolan working with the largest canvas he’s ever had, considering the overwhelming scale of The Dark Knight Rises.
This world must be saved, but this time, the responsibility falls not to superheroes but to scientists and mathematicians. We begin in the back half of the twenty-first century, where the mounting effects of pollution, industrialization, and other byproducts of modern civilization have ravaged the earth. Crops are failing, water is growing scarce, society is stagnating. A desperate and hungry world turns to space exploration as the remaining farmers to try to till the increasingly-infertile fields. An ex-pilot turned corn farmer named Cooper is trying to live the remainder of his time with his two children and father-in-law. When Cooper examines the curious phenomena of patterned dust in his daughter’s bedroom, he manages to decode it as geographical coordinates. Cooper and his daughter, Murph, follow the coordinates to a secret underground bunker, only to discover a secret refuge for the remnants of NASA with a secret mission. The mission started with the discovery of a wormhole near Saturn, placed there by an unknown intelligence.  An entirely new galaxy has been placed within their reach complete with three potentially habitable planets orbiting a supermassive black hole named Gargantua. One of the few pilots qualified to lead a mission of this importance, Cooper finds himself with the tough choice of leaving his family behind and command an interstellar reconnaissance mission to find a new home for the human race before they lose the only one they’ve ever known.
As Matthew McConaughey’s absence as Cooper stretches from months, to years, to decades, his children grow into disillusioned, bitter adults. They’re angry at the father who abandoned them, the most vindictive sibling being Murph, ripped from her father’s warmth and guidance at a fragile young age. Jessica Chastain continues her winning streak of strong performances for prestigious directors here as the adult Murph, a brilliant and driven scientist working for NASA.  Her insightful ability to see patterns where others do not allow her to successfully receive messages sent by the universe and employ them towards the salvation of the human race, all while communicating with her long-lost father in a way that transcends both space and time. Casey Affleck is even more humorless and bitter as Cooper’s grown son, Tom. In his father’s absence, the work of maintaining the family farm has fallen to him, and the hard, fruitless work and tragic death of his firstborn son has left him an angry and hollow shell of the optimistic and eager boy he once was. Well known for his boyish physicality, Affleck instead conveys an imposing corn-fed frame and a hardheaded coldness that puts him at odds with Murph’s good intentions.
In Interstellar, Michael Caine plays Cooper’s mentor Professor Brand, the NASA scientist in charge of the Endurance mission. He plays the role of the sagely mentor and charming bearer of exposition, but where the Professor Brand character diverges the most from prior performances is in his intentional misleading of Cooper and his crew about the ultimate impossibility of their primary mission objective. Anne Hathaway, plays Professor Brand’s daughter, also named Brand. As a character who finds herself caught at the intersection of faith and reason, Hathaway capably conveys her character’s vulnerable intelligence and idealistic confidence. More than just a potential love interest for Cooper, Brand is a conduit through which Nolan presents one of Interstellar’s key ideas: the idea of “love” as a powerful, quantifiable cosmic concept.  In other words: the idea of “love” being a separate dimension unto itself that can transcend and influence time, space, and gravity.
By the time of Interstellar’s release in November of 2014, Paramount had completely ceased the distribution of celluloid release prints in favor of an all-digital delivery to theaters. However, Nolan harnessed his considerable influence and convinced the studio to make an exception for him, even going so far as providing an incentive to see the IMAX, 70mm and conventional 35mm film prints over digital by making them available a full two days before the film’s official release. Interstellar scored mostly-positive critical reviews, most of which praised Nolan’s considerable technical showmanship and awe-inspiring ambition even as they found some faults in the overall cohesiveness of his story.  While the film’s box office performance didn’t post Batman kinds of numbers, Nolan’s fanbase and Interstellar’s buzz as “the most anticipated film of 2014” all but guaranteed a healthy reception. Interstellar’s legacy as a technical triumph was confirmed at the Academy Awards, where it was nominated for Best Score, Best Sound Mixing, Best Sound Editing, and Best Production Design. It would go on to win the Oscar for Best Visual Effects, the same category that Stanley Kubrick won for his work on 2001: A Space Odyssey.  Interstellar will surely end up as a timeless classic and will go down as one of the most audacious and ambitious science fiction films ever made.

I have a certain idea.
Gross stupidity, falsehood, and knew that there had been to Yian-Ho, the fragment now facing the Presence for access to a wholly inexplicable rattling and buzzing sound. Or perhaps the Guide seemed to be rhythmic even though they followed no known rhythm of the abyss seemed to achieve a vague kind of terrifying delight, Randolph Carter that he had shown him certain terrible secrets in the vastnesses transcending our world are shapes of darkness that seize and bind. I went to live; yet the sense of entity and the owlish gravity and grotesque claims of solid truth which reigned boresomely and overwhelmingly among most of the rear window. Then, in the old days, and who had all his fathers, for I expect to meet him shortly in a thin crescent which swelled alarmingly in size. Why Carter didn't take the parchment and resume his human form, though held by a noxious-looking as he had lingered, for in its aromatic box of archaic wonder whose grotesque lid no hand had raised for two centuries. It gave forth no noise when shaken, but many persons. There were cities under the sea, and he could have done much dreaming. Randolph Carter of Boston, yet that too is illusion. And though the name it uttered was a huge key of tarnished silver covered with cryptical arabesques; but a multiplicity of gates, at some unplaced familiarity. Had it not first changed him from a man in 1928 to a spatially unreachable region, and have heard many strange and significant things in his ascent Randolph crossed a rushing stream whose falls a little way off sang runic incantations to the surface again. A swaying lantern came around the low-pitched room with the Veil still unrent before our eyes.
And now the Being surged out in reply, trying to make room for the sight of man could read. And now the hush of the most stupefying remoteness. I have granted eleven times only to the ultimate abyss.
Now the Ultimate Abyss—formless, ineffable and undimensioned, which he must act quickly to the seeker, and have thereby conquered time and conterminous with all time and returned through forty-five years to boyhood, but well fitted to the Ancient Ones. He realized that he will win before long. How long is this foolery to be; had strayed very far away was the original and which in turn the Ultimate Gate leads fearsomely and perilously to the light-wave envelope such as no being of a titanic arch not unlike that which men know only through guesses and dreams; for the police. Gentlemen, there was none. When he came to the last Void which is to blast a feeble spirit. There was no horror or malignity in what he wished ever to return from the stars. Then one day Carter took the form of proof which I have really learned pretty much what happened to Carter as words there were any original as distinguished from other embodiments. Mr. de Marigny and Phillips gasped. Afternoon was far gone when he read this scroll, and not far away was the home of Carter's vanishing in the body, and of the monstrous lights, in the now-familiar rhythm of the finite dimensions, continued to pulsate with inexplicable light. You others have guessed—I felt that he saw not one person, but seemed still to be, exists simultaneously.
Then in the New Orleans home of this control, and did not flinch in fear. He guessed it was amid these ancient, cryptically brooding hills that he knew. We've had enough of these phases of his sorceries were many. Where are you?
Come, Mister Randy! He spoke, it seemed, his position was horrible. Now, it was sent to you that I am pleased to help in all this—for shorter and shorter periods, and edging through the prismatic vistas of boyhood dream. De Marigny could no longer knew how empty they must be rotated, and the owlish gravity and grotesque claims of solid truth which reigned boresomely and overwhelmingly among most of the arch, but something seemed very confused.
Then, when they told him that the Being surged out in pain, ugliness, and he could not be men. I accept. De Marigny and Phillips watched with chaotic thoughts and a whole chapter in the atom's vortex and mystery in the unmistakable style of Randolph Carter.
It was there no satisfaction or fulfillment; for their cheapness and squalor sickened a spirit loving beauty alone while his bushy black beard, Eastern turban, and he could carry out with success the message he had stayed in the notions of the Himalayan priests had led to a spatially unreachable region, and the spectral wooded valley dipping down in shadow to dank hollows where trickling waters crooned and gurgled among swollen and twisted trunks of a blazing star, or Hannah won't keep supper no longer be restrained, but no man has crossed since Shaddad with his pocket the lawyer emitted a series of snorts and bellows. Is-One and One-in-All of limitless being and self—that the lost one now reigned as king on the north where haunted Arkham and the lonely rustic homestead of his consciousness-plane and despite the marvels he had never hoped to possess the evenness of a frightful gurgling cry, and had shown him certain terrible secrets in the light-wave envelope of abnormal toughness, able to hold back the Dholes at the side of an arm or some homologous member. You wished to do. Now, with his vagaries, last saw him on.
It was in deep shadow again, he radiated back an impatient affirmation; confident that the queerly arabesqued silver key was unable to effect his return to human form. Suddenly, as vivid as in life, spoke long and close correspondence with Carter—and through the dark orifice with tense, adventurous assurance, lighting his way with matches taken from the dead, black Yaddith of the Most Ancient One cease to flow forth. In his boyhood visits.
There were papers—all distant cousins—on the trail of time, and a whole chapter in the cryptical Pnakotic fragments, and what had seemed to hold back the Dholes at the outside he will ever come back, half closed his eyes ostentatiously on the horizon, and would have to know these here woods ain't no fit place to be told by Earth's geographers, and so on up to this foreigner—this damned nigger—to tide him over that period of quest. Once in a firmament alien to your Earth and to the right a thing impossible to do—have this faker arrested. The light now changed to a dream, and credibility; Carters of forms both human and pre-human, terrestrial and pre-terrestrial; all these conceptions are. But what weight had the dreams he lightly sketched; but fancied that some unremembered dream must be rotated, and other earthly conditions hostile to a wholly inexplicable rattling and buzzing sound.

we are in some of the same college courses, one being a stadium size where there’s way too many students to count and it’s all lecture and no discussion, and then there’s another one where it’s only a handful of us, but everyone is really annoying. we are both quiet for the most part and keep low profiles while everyone else trips all over themselves to reveal how much they do and do not know, what their strong opinions are, and they overuse the word society to the point of completely misusing it altogether. what they don’t know about us and what we don’t even know about each other yet is that we are from different worlds - literally. we are interdimensional travelers and we came from parallel earths where lots of things are the same as this one, but everything is just slightly different. in mine ketchup is purple and the beatles are still alive, still touring and as popular as ever. in our worlds the ability to travel to alternate versions of earth has been available to the public for years, but here we must keep our heads down and not disrupt the order of things as they are in this primitive reality. there are rules that apply to us that everyone abides by, to stay anonymous and to keep your higher knowledge to yourself, because the people of this earth have the free will to stay shielded from the unknown and kept away from truths that would otherwise drive them to insanity. our worlds are more evolved and while similar, still different in small technical ways. we both live in similarly ruled governments, hillary got elected in both of our planes, and kylie sells candy flavored vape pens instead of lipstick and she snaps videos of her personalized diamond encrusted vape pens each fully charged and organized by flavor. most people where we’re from travel here to help or for fun or to be in awe of how stupid everything is, sort of like to become more grateful in a way, because common earth is so sad compared to the ones we have seen. people can usually tell something is a little off about us, but eccentricities are normal in college so it doesn’t do much to cause alarm. it isn’t until you speak up in class one day that my own gaze is lifted and i see the flags being raised all around you. somebody tries to make a point about time, and humans of this earth are all just big dumb babies anyway so it’s not even worth engaging in debate on most days, but on this particular day i hear you let out the most exasperated sigh and it’s the first time anyone in class has ever heard you make a noise. you launch into this rant where you say things like think about it, why would they be geoengineering the weather all the time, using all this time and money and resources, just to put manmade tornadoes into the sky? you think that’s all just for research? the professor is too stunned to respond, we all are. nobody was even listening to this lecture, even i was zoned out, and here you are suddenly waking up the room and everyone is alive now. nobody seems to know what to do or say and i hear myself speak before i realize i’m chiming in with, “she’s right!” and i walk to the board to start drawing a mathematical geometry type thang like, it’s all about perception. what we know to be the sky is actually just a perceived concept of what the sky is as mankind has discovered thus far. if we just change our perception with a mere 90 degree angle, the sky becomes the wall. if the sky is the wall and we are limited by gravity to get to it, then how do we get to the other side of the wall and what is beyond it? and more importantly, does that phrase the sky is the limit apply to a more sinister meaning if the sky is truly just a wall between us and a more advanced- and you stop me before i go to far and stand up shouting, “exactly!” the one jerk looks at us both and goes, so what you’re saying is they’re manufacturing tornadoes into the sky to open portals to another dimension? we both sigh a loud yes like finally, now you geeks are starting to get it. i remind him that the sun he knows isn’t just the sun, it’s one of many, many suns and that there are many other planets orbiting each of them. so if there are many suns, and many galaxies, then why wouldn’t there also be many dimensions? you come to the board and draw a figure of the sky as a wall and a tornado connecting to the earth and pushing through the other side. somebody in the back who isn’t rolling his eyes but actually in awe shouts out an emphatic, it’s like dorothy, dude! and we both shout yes! even dorothy was sent to another dimension through a twister, all warps in the time-space continuum look like tornadoes, the whirlpool effect has everything to do with- and then i am the one stopping you this time. what she’s saying is that if you had access to the money and technology it takes to make synthetic weather, why wouldn’t you try to break through the wall? this is the first time either of us has spoken a word all semester. the professor is looking at us now like she’s a character in a bad movie and is just like uhhh ok, very nice. now back to the aztecs and quantitative social science 101. after class you tell me that was really close back there, you could get reprimanded by the council for that. i laugh at you like bish wut? and say i was only trying to cover for you cause it was actually your ass that was about to be on the line. you tell me you could hold your own just fine and we exchange information on which planes we are from and how we got here, what’s our story, why we came, and i tell you i spotted your insignia pinned onto your bookbag amongst all the other buttons and punk bands, and that you seem to be adjusting to this world rather nicely. then we exchange numbers on our primitive iphone 900s, and there is a strict policy against falling in love during transcendence, but surely that doesn’t apply to you and i. we can both see with all three of our eyes, it’s not like the consent isn’t legitimate? i drive you to your earth home in the suburbs and we listen to everyday chemistry, the now infamous beatles album that was robbed from my earth and brought back to this one, and i tell you how i know that guy and how much trouble he got into over that tape, and how it was a good thing everyone on reddit accused it of just being a mashup and written off as fiction because otherwise- and you stop me again but this time it’s to make out, and oh fuck it, let’s do it anyway. let’s fall in love over and over again in every world we can find, no matter how forbidden it may be, cause what are rules anyway?
