Aunno, like I understand being all "woe is me! we're doomed! we're doomed" is like, not exactly super helpful but like it's not supposed to be it's a cry for help!

Like whenever I see someone lament the blight of the doomers I just roll my eyes cuz 99% of the time they don't have any "Calm down, numbnuts we just have to do x y z" so it just comes off as "shut the fuck up I don't wanna hear anything negative I wanna turn my brain off"

and then the 1% who has a plan, doesn't elaborate very well so it's like "build a community? If I knew how to do that I wouldn't've spent the last 40 years of my life alone with no one but immediate family!"

Like no one knows how to have neighbors! People just hide in their houses and hope no one calls them, like you gotta teach people how to community and that means basically taking them to kindergarten except nope you're being patronizing now how

Are you prepared to teach 20-50 somethings how to be good neighbors and talk to strangers and have functions and whatnot without being patronizing somehow?

Like better advice would be like "Hey people who do LANs and smash tourneys or whatever, learn how to use a gun and build tire walls of tank obstruction" or whatever like Mario Kart CPR lessons.
