Teenage me was such a huge fan of Stydia cause aw he always loved her ,but when I was in s6 I went nope.

Cos tell me why Lydia, knowing Stiles was always in love with her , kept dating other dudes but having Stiles be by her side whenever it was convenient for her , but never fully committing to him until the very last season where it felt like she had run out of options and she finally decided to give Stiles a chance ?

It's just dumb cause why breakup Stalia who had a normal storyline for their romance and which fans seemed to love ?

And the dumb reason that they stated for them breaking up in the movie ?

It makes Stiles just look desperate which he is not.

Rewatching Teen Wolf - the good years, and I gotta say I am thoroughly disappointed that Stiles wasn't made an emissary, or turned into a wolf, or kept the fox's powers.

He was such an extraordinary character - he deserved the ultimate development.

In my opinion, he also should have ended up with Malia, who obviously loved him - he was her anchor for crying out loud.

I'm not going down the Sterek road (no matter how much I want to) but an epic friendship between two best friend actors, who happen to be such talented actors, was so warranted here! It feels so meaningful, yet not followed through properly.

Because some of the best scenes in TW were of Dylan and Tyler-H together.

OK, finally answering this ask! I'm irritated because of the gif limit and I would want to add so much more than 30 gifs.

Anyway, so, with Scira and Stalia, to me it's like, when people ask Brucas vs Naley or Ryissa vs Sethsummer, I don' t think that one is necessarily stronger than the other, it's that they're different vibes

I've said it before, Scott and Kira, are like '90s/'00s R&B music video, Usher in the rain, type of deal

When I've spoken about Scira's physicality, I've spoken about how they have this sort of magnetic quality, where it's like they're pulled to each other and have to connect

Like, even when they're grounded and soft and decompress, it's this exhale

but it's also this longing

as opposed to the very urgent angst of Scallison, for instance, there's a quality of slow motion and savouring to them

and it's very acute as well as well as being very still

Stalia also has a very palpable sense of romantic and/or sexual tension

and I love how dazed Malia can make him

but while I find that Scira has this soft yet intense longing even if it's just an undercurrent, where it's like *sigh* home,

Stalia's vibe is more at home with each other,

like they're right, they fit,

and one isn't necessarily better than the other they're just different. I personally, despite loving both, would go more towards Scira.

I love both Scira and Stalia's stories but if I have to choose one that I like better, I would say Stalia because of how the narrative connects them to each other,

and their Staliaisms

like the perfect example is the sleepover and how he wasn't used to having someone else in his bed so at first he can't sleep and they try all the different positions and it's not working and when she's facing away from him, it's still not working because he has to be touching her and then they find the position where he's the little spoon and it works and then we flash forward to the present and he can't sleep again because Malia isn't there.

And because I spent so much time defending their story from Stydia shippers, I realized how much I enjoyed the "reverse build-up" aspect of their relationship.

I believe in another one of your asks if I would've preferred the movie ending since I also ship Scallison or end with Scira. I am fine with Scallison over Scalia definitely but I would've wanted Scira to be endgame.

Not in my comment section lmfao. I’ve had a lot of people and ex ‘friends’ criticise my work and call it “childish” or an “easy read” but thankfully I don’t get hateful comments on ao3/wattpad

9. Do you write smut?

Sure do! I’m a whore at heart when it comes to smut. However, a lot of my fics aren’t focused on smut, I try to give variety to my readers.

I have one in the works for teen wolf x tvd

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Technically yes when the ai scrapping happened, 36 of my fics got snatched. But other than that, I don’t believe I have.

Many times yes! But they always ask me prior and I consent to them doing it as long as they credit me. There’s times I see Italian fics I’d love to read but unfortunately can’t, so I think translating (with consent) is a lovely thing!

13. Have you ever co written a fic?

Yes!! I have co written fics with @dreadful-doctors and @genetic-hellhound it’s one of my favourite things and those fics are some of my favourites 🥺

14. What’s your all time favourite ship?

Currently thiam! But jyler are my forever babies

15. What’s a wip you wanna finish but doubt you ever will?

None. I’m determined to finish the 26 wips I have

I think im good at plot twists and unexpected events? I like to keep my readers guessing and I hope im doing that correctly.

Used to be using correct punctuation and formatting. Unfortunately my earlier fics lack that severely but im fixing them all and I have come a long way. I also struggle with fluff sometimes, it’s not my favourite thing to write.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language?

I love it! Personally Google translate isn’t reliable so I ask people of that language if they’ll translate it appropriately for me!

As a child, Arthur and the invisibles (on paper) but officially on wattpad, the vampire diaries.

Hands down my puppy pack fic! It’s almost 200k words between both books and I had the best time writing it!

Just got reminded how much I loved Stalia and how unfairly they were done and how abruptly they were ended and fuck that fandom and everyone involved.

It's so disturbing to discover more in depth the hatred of my favorite ship of all time, namely Stiles & Lydia (Stydia), from Teen Wolf (be careful the movie never existed in my eyes and never will, it's a vile shit).

Seriously, I can't understand the hatred that this ship can also provoke. What I don't understand.

Pretending that Stiles is toxic for Lydia. Or that Lydia is toxic for Stiles. That they don't know each other well and don't understand each other. What bullshit.

Stiles is the person who has always had the best behavior towards Lydia, and Lydia, yes at the beginning she's a bitch, but she evolves enormously and especially her relationship with Stiles which becomes the most special of her life. And knowing each other ? They literally have an exceptional connection and have always understood each other for the most part.

It's crazy, I don't understand this kind of criticism.

Like saying that Stalia should have stayed together and that the breakup doesn't make sense, while whether or not Stiles ended up with Lydia, he would never have ended up with Malina for me.

Why ?

Because Stiles was essentially used by Malia to learn everything she had missed during her years as a coyote and to familiarize her again with the human world and above all to help her grow, to catch up on everything she had lost.

To me it was obvious that once Malia had finished developing on all these subjects, the relationship with Stiles would collapse because Malia would technically have nothing more to gain from him and she would go looking for novelty in her life elsewhere.

Well... to me it seemed obvious.

Besides, it's a relationship base that seems to me much more toxic than Stydia could ever be.

Malia is literally the equivalent of a child upon her return that Stiles will end up educating in every sense of the word as a boyfriend. She even goes so far as to live at his place for a period establishing a certain codependence in their relationship for a short while in season 4.

My favorite blorbo Derek Hale. I didn't get the hype with this ship when I first started watching, but then I kept seeing things in this show that made me wonder, "Jeff, was this intentional?" Bc they're so very gay with each other. Alas, age gaps are an iffy thing for me personally due to my own personal traumas, but I still love them. 9.5/10

I didn't ship this at first but God, people can be so convincing. You read a fic so well written and see the most beautiful piece of art and all of a sudden you're binge reading every. Last. Fic in the tag, yk? SOLID 9/10

i am PRO stalia this is a stalia & skittles only zone when it comes to stiles ships!!!!! who can better match stiles's feral raccoon energy than a weird coyotegirl who doesn't know how to be a person and wants to kill people a lot and is just as obsessed with scott as he is. i do actually think the moment where they broke up in s5 was an interesting, if frustrating, character beat for stiles -- like, he's so defensive of his killing of donovan to scott's face, but when malia's like um yeah dude that sounds like self-defense and is normal and fine he's like. i am. not a big fan tbh. it is probably my favorite of willow's canon romances just because oz is so boring it offends me and i also knew willow was gay going in so i was like Ummmmmm why is he a man. and then s7 willow is my least favorite model and also kennedy is like 15 so why are they dating. but i also have serious issues with tillow as well. i do think they're cute in s4, when i first watched the show i was like aw i like them :) but then even by late s5 i was like oh. huh. ummm i don't like the way willow is treating tara. like the way tara's like "hey willow i'm kind of concerned about your rapid powerscaling" and willow's like "why? cause you think i'm not really gay? you're homophobic against gay women who dated men before realizing they were gay? is that it?" like HUH. excuse me. and then in s6 willow full-on rapes and abuses tara. and to be clear i think this is all good writing. i am on board with all of this.

but THEN they have the magic drug addiction arc where suddenly we're supposed to see willow as some sort of victim. and then tara gets back together with willow which given that willow has not substantially made amends for her treatment of tara or even recognized what she did to her.....really just feels like tara is returning to her abuser because her entire life has been going from one abuser to another and at least this one loves her. and then they kill tara and they completely sweep willow's treatment of her under the rug to instead be like ohhh poor baby willow she is so sad her girlfriend died. they even have a s7 episode where willow turns into warren but instead of reckoning with how willow's abuse of tara echoed warren's abuse of katrina, they instead have willow's inner conflict be that she feels she is "killing" tara by moving on.

ultimately tara should never have gotten back together with willow and willow should have been forced to actually reckon with her actions and her capacity for real harm. one of my main issues with willow's relationships is that none of her partners really ever held her to account for her bullshit; tara came close, but then folded, and so willow never really had to learn anything. and tara's whole arc was just......escaping abuse only to end up in an abusive relationship, extract herself from that relationship, and then put herself back in that relationship and then die and be defined by that relationship forever. awesome. so yeah. not a fan.

I became a huge Sterek fan because the fics were great, but I admit to never watching the show or the movie since I heard the show was a mess and the movie was worse. So do you remember how the show treated Stydia,Stalia,& Draeden? because that is how a fandom becomes toxic is multiple ships. And it's jarring how Sterek writers have leagues better writing quality than the actual show writers so I totally understand why you guys didn't trust the show to develop this relationship. And I'm cackling at how Jeff let a mostly non canon ship get under his skin.

Absolutely. I used to be furious that Jeff refused to do Sterek in canon, and while it still irks me that Jeff (a gay man) clearly prioritizes heterosexuality and heterosexual relationships, I think the fandom collectively came to feel lucky that Jeff didn’t make Sterek canon.

Jeff’s track record with relationships in the show is that he ruins them. And intentionally, too. He clearly gets bothered when fans don’t focus on what he deems important, so he tries to ruin the things that they do focus on (ie. The ships). Not even the heterosexual ships that he apparently loves sooooooo much are safe from being ruined.

But Sterek shippers actually love Sterek, which is why the writing for them is so well done in fic. And it’s the reason why Sterek survived Jeff’s attempt to destroy it & why it survived the show’s run. I don’t think he was expecting fans to continue rallying around Sterek after he purposely kept Stiles & Derek from interacting in the show. And then Hoechlin left. And then Dylan left. Yet Stereks continued to ship it.

In my opinion, trying so hard to dismantle Sterek is what ended up destroying Jeff’s show. Not just his show, but his image as a showrunner. Before fans started to notice his Queerbaiting tendencies, fans actually loved him. Myself included. And we praised his writing and his work. Him putting more time and effort into trying to destroy a non-canon ship left him no time and energy to actually write decent seasons. And so look at those ratings immediately start to fall beginning with S4 (the same time he turned against Sterek).

In a way, I don’t think he’s been able to get over the error of his choice because he still tries to tease Sterek fans in odd moves. He oddly chose to bring Sterek back for the series finale. And he oddly chose to write the whole thing about Derek having “complicated feelings” about Stiles’ jeep, while also writing Eli to be like Stiles.

He either wants fans to forgive him or he thinks he’s being funny. But in reality, it just gives Sterek fans more things to write about in their fics. He should have just manned up and apologized back when it mattered.

Rewatching teen wolf and one season 1 Derek’s hair lol and two like no hate to Lydia or the stydia ship at all but I just don’t like her n stiles together simply because the way they threw them together in the last season made no sense at all. The build up of them was really good in the first few seasons and I was really rooting for them at first but then they brought in Stalia who I love they are so cute n adorable and they also kept constantly throwing up a new love interest for Lydia. Like had they just brought Malia in as simply a side character and not as a love interest for Stiles the way he n Lydia got together would’ve made so much more sense. But instead they have Lydia clearly feeling something for Parrish and stiles as in love with malia as you can be without saying I love you to each other. And I’m sorry they damn well could’ve made Dylan not wanting to come back for the movie work without breaking stydia up. I mean dude was an fbi intern they very well could’ve used that as the reason like oh stiles did become an fbi agent and he’s on location on a case and he just can’t get away but no they had the two of them break up instead, that was for a reason.Also wtf was Scott n Malia especially when you were just gonna break them up at the end anyway. I loved Allison with Isaac more than I did with Scott and I thought Scott n Kira were adorable. The last season was just a complete mess and don’t even get me started on that movie, if I was Tyler Hoechlin I’d have them kill me off too. Like you’re gonna give Derek a whole ass kid but not ever even mention his mother at all, and the nogitsune storyline again I hate when they recycle storylines cause they can’t think of anything better to do. Like Malia was the best part of the whole damn thing.

(so many posts today, ik, but bear with me, i need to get this down RN!!) Joan, and how she ties into others... its long so i put it under a cut

Locke - Was promised to be payed for his efforts around town, being the healthcare guy. He, of course, hasnt been payed a thing, and he's probably frustrated by that, but he hasn't approached Joan abt it becuz he still has some faith in her. Joan is terrified to let him down and be honest because then she'll be seen as a terrible person (or so she thinks. this will be a common occurrance with her).

J.I.H.O. - When JIHO was sent to the town, Joan caught him, shutting him down and hiding him in an alley way. No one ever found him, and Joan never told anyone of his existance so hes been there for 4 years. I'd like to do more with their connection to each other...

Huan - Was promised for his house in Obelisk Point to be repaired due to its current state not being so great and Joan was going to try and find him job opportunities while he was there, but no... none of that happened, even while theres a repairwoman there. Huan hasnt questioned anything yet because he's busy, doesnt want to be a bother to Joan if shes trying, and he doesnt want to stress abt it (failing). hes also a bit too worried to go to Stalia since she seems fairly unwell and... she scares him ngl. Since Huan hasnt questioned it, Joan hasn't told him anything, probably hoping he forgot (which, he might tbh), but shes still nervous abt it. maybe i should think on this one more?

Rufus - Knew Joan since she was like 15, once she turned 21, he started asking her to buy him alcohol/cigarettes on a false belief she had money. She couldn't say no due to her own worries about being a bad person, so... but Rufus doesn't know she's stealing from stores and money from the inhabitants (Mae...) of town. They both hate this situation. Joan hates it because of her often broken moral code, Rufus hates it because he's relying on her but he drowns out that feeling.

Korsak - Also knew Joan when she was 15, he immediately took her under his wing n views her like a daughter. He trusts her, and she often helps him around town, but he doesn't know of any promises or crimes she's commited. He just knows her as Joan, the girl who brings people into town to help them. Joan... probably feels mental pain when he compliments her or whatnot...

Ricki - They're like 3 years younger than her and knows Korsak too, Ricki and Joan probably spent time together when she came into town. I only put Ricki down so I can cook on their friendship.

Mae - Was promised privacy and secrecy, and got what she wanted that Joan said she'd get. She trusts Joan a lot due to this, plus the fact Korsak trusts Joan. Too bad Joan steals money from her since she knows Mae has money. Joan is obviously not proud of it, and Mae would rather blame it on Locke since she has a negative view of him.

Narine - Joan used to visit her back when it was just one microorganism on a candle and read, but Narine ended up remembering her due to the frequent visits. the microorganisms even ended up trying to resemble her, how cute! but Joan hasnt been there for years, nor does she really know anything about the microorganisms existence. I wonder if I can do more here.

Stalia - Was promised care for her condition, but never received, which pisses her off to a great extent. She would probably fight Joan if given the chance, but she's smarter than that and doesn't exactly want to leave town yet. It's possible she has tried to confront Joan, but maybe Joan avoided her... maybe Joan is straight up avoiding her in general, even. Joan's probably very afraid of her, since Stalia has already punched someone before.
