I've gone off about how much I dislike the cliche in Western animation that donkeys are often designed as dumb and ugly so I'm gonna do a post of animated donkeys whose designs I DO like (2D examples only for now):
Tumblr media
Small One from Don Bluth's The Small One
Tumblr media
Benjamin from Animal Farm (1954)
Tumblr media
Fred from The Fearless Four (yes I think this movie is pretty stupid and weird but the donkey design is great)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
various donkeys (including transformed Lampwick) from Disney's Pinocchio
Tumblr media
And a more obscure example, Burrito the flying donkey from the segment "The Flying Gauchito" from Disney's The Three Caballeros

Soy Cibernético!! 🎶 Me tomó toda la noche haciendo este personaje de la película. Trate de hacerlo como un chibi pero no me salió bien. Aunque valió totalmente la pena.

A-T-4 080 Dr. Jeckyll & Mr. Hyde Fast Life/A.M. P.M.
Two classics from Dr. Jeckyll & Mr. Hyde co-written and co-produced by Kurtis Blow. Marley Marl was the other producer. Fast Life was written with regular Kurtis Blow collaborators Billy Bill and Larry Smith, A.M. P.M. was written with Dr. Jeckyll & Mr. Hyde. Vocal and instrumental versions are all ace imo
Dr. Jeckyll (Andre Harrell) would go on to found Uptown Records

I FOUND IT!!!
https://youtu.be/2C49hbksqS0?si=0hh7ak9le7HDJiJ7
The nostalgia hits hard!!
Hey all, can you help me find an old movie?
I don't remember the name and I feel like I dreamt it or slipped into a parallel universe cause no one remembers it when I ask.
It was based on an old German(?) fable involving a rooster, cat, dog, and mule. They sang and danced and ended up together at a farm or slaughter house? I remember they escaped by pretending to be a monster by stacking the dog on top of the mule, cat upon the dog, and the rooster at the top.
They ended up back on the cat's estate with all the escaped animals to live happily ever after.
I loved it as a kid, but only ever found a version on YouTube that has since been deleted. My mum keeps saying it's Cats Don't Dance, but that's a completely different movie. Ant help would be greatly appreciated!!

“But becoming fearless isn’t the point. That’s impossible. It’s learning how to control your fear, how to be free from it, that’s the point.”

*to clarify, compare your favorite og album (not the rerecorded version) to your favorite vault tracks to see if they match. Basically, whether or not you think the main tracks of your favorite album were rerecorded "well"/"right" should not factor in here!!
