Spent part of my morning voluntarily waist+ deep in mud, feel very tired but also invigorated lmao. (Went to my lovely, very outdoorsy friends' wedding at a farm, which also has a muddy assault course. So of course, we did it the morning after, tired and hungover as we all were haha. Only got mud in my eye a little bit.)

#the instructor was a first aider and flushed the mud out no problem #also sometimes modern problems (choosing the mud) require medieval solutions (linen cap over hair)#it did fall off in the second tyre tunnel but by that point it had basically done its job of protecting my hair from the two #bits of the course where most everyone else with long hair tied back got it muddy #so next time i will go with linen cap over hair (more securely attached)
