Koop are what genre? I mean, they are one of these outfits you wouldn't be surprised to hear on your usual chill out compilations, though they also don't belong there completely. To be honest, most of these groups are somehow considered to be electronica despite them sounding quite organic or even being such. For instance, The Herbaliser do sound different than Koop, yet you could see them forming a double bill with the latter. They both take a certain sound from the past and they augment that with the modern technology, yet they don't overdo this principle by going towards the uncanny as some of their peers. The tune in the link proves my point, there's nothing too much in the piece, you're not feeling something is off.

I'm sick of pretending this image makes sense. We're getting to the bottom of it today.

Ok, so this image from the Azran Legacy credits always confused me. The last we saw of Rook and Bishop, they were leaving to work at Scotland Yard and they took Mackintosh with them.

However, for some reason they are seen on television, dressed as Layton and Luke and Mackintosh is never seen again.

Is there any explanation for this? Does the original JP version explain this?

The wiki says that they are playing the roles of Layton and Luke for a TV show but is there any truth behind this?

But if they're not acting as Layton and Luke, why are they dressed like them? Did they steal their clothes? Are they pretending to be them? And why are they on TV?

Does anyone have any thoughts or ideas about what this means? Because I think we need to compare them and work out the most likely option.
