iron the pieces and trace them to make a pattern (make notes about how to reassemble NOW before you forget!)

Ask your sister to use her work printer to blow up the pattern from A5 to A3! thats four times bigger!!

get some plushy fabric from the craft store and get tracing and cutting (using medical scissors from that surgery you had four years ago)

SEW THAT BABY TOGETHER and then pick apart the head because you messed up AND THEN SEW IT BACK TOGETHER PROPERLY!!

make a little face :3 eyes, nose and whiskers!!

fill that beast with BEANS using your sister's hamilton shotglass (and some fluff for the head and body)

sew her up.... and take some photos!!

optional step: repeat the process to make some siblings!

i was extremely sleep deprived yesterday when i discovered the dragon survival mod which was LIFE CHANGING when you're on three hours of sleep so of course i made a whole custom forest dragon texture in one day about it. and. just for fun, some concept art i made for it:

Update: So it's been almost a month, things have gotten a little better. I do apologize for my hiatus post being so sudden and out of the blue...It was a build-up of personal things going on, and the icing on the cake was that I got laid off that day. My previous job was relocating to a smaller place and therefore had to downsize the staff, which included me and two others, and with my anxiety that made me flip out a bit ^^;

But since then, I found a new job and been trying to adjust to the new routine and work hours. I only just started on Monday officially, and I think my first week went well. I come home earlier now, which is nice. I'll keep the family issues brief, but tldr, I keep the toxicity out to where I'm now hardly in contact with certain family members anymore and I can finally breathe. On a better note, I've been outside more, going on walks and hanging out with friends more often. I recently went with a friend to Knoebels Resort during their opening weekend and had a blast, I also applied to work as a ride operator there during the summer weekends, so I'll be busy. I'm not ready to come back 100%, probably not for awhile yet, at least not with art, as the enjoyment I got from making art still remains elusive to me, I haven't touched ibispaint since April 19th...My hope is that the longer I'm away from drawing, the more I might miss it and will want to return. Until then tho I wanted to fill y'all in on what's been happening and how it's been going.

It makes me really uncomfy when people hc heavily transmasc coded characters as transfem...

Like whenever I see transfem Rowanstar and Nightheart hcs it makes me wonder how those people feel about transmascs since both of them are blatantly transmasc coded. Idk how you read the books and got transfem vibes from them but I wish people would stop

anon, i mean this in the nicest possible sense i can, but none of these characters are coded to be transgender. the writers did not intend any of them to be either transmasc or transfem. you need to understand that "coding" means a character was deliberately written to be something without overtly being labelled as such.

if you see a character as transmasc, that's great! but that is your headcanon. just like someone seeing that character as transfem is also a headcanon. just because you see a character as "coded" for something does not make it canon. it is an interpretation you may have made based on evidence you've read in the books, but it still just an interpretation.

someone not seeing rowanstar or nightheart as transmasc does not mean they dislike transmasc people. i personally don't see nightheart as a trans allegory but i can understand why people do and that's fine, you're allowed to do that. but people headcanoning him as transfem does not mean they have something against transmasc people like you seem to be implying.

idk i know this is a bit of a rant but this is not the first time someone has been like "if you see a character as x it means you hate y group of people/are xyz-ist" in the inbox.

Taking a small break from writing after posting a bunch of things to work on my other passion: messing with things. Ever since I was a little girl I came up with the Grey Warden Bellara headcanon, I wanted to give her a GW-themed recolour, and I'm finally sitting down to work on it :)

Lots of rough spots on it for now, but. I'll trust the process.

i feel insane bc i have a lot of fun with taking things and making them darker and edgier but like there are rules to it. there are specific things i like and don’t like. it’s compelling when you take parts of the original that are only implied or lightly touched upon, yet are very much present and important, and expand on those. that’s transformative and delicious and very much called for. it’s boring and tacky when you dump a bunch of blood and death and evil onto something that was perfectly innocent and straightforward and didn’t need to be anything else especially if the original thing didn’t even have much of a narrative so to speak
