Also, also, why is it that Yoda straight-up says the Luke's anger reminds him of Anakin's in The Empire Strikes Back and the movie very subtly shows Luke's face under Vader's helmet and fandom just glosses straight over that and says that Luke is just like his mom, but Leia yells about a plan being dumb and likely to get everyone killed a few times, and suddenly she's got the same anger in her that turned Anakin evil for twenty-some years?
#like I know people like to talk about the Jedi being wrong in their methodology#but unless the end of ESB left any doubt#the message of that section of the movie was not 'Yoda was hella wrong'#the message was that Luke's impulsivity and impatience and anger and resistance to the leading of the Force#NEARLY GOT HIM KILLED#and by the way I'm not saying that Luke is like destined to do bad stuff either#like I know people like to pretend that Star Wars is just up to the interpretation of the viewer#but the themes of good and evil and the importance of individual agency to choose between the two#cannot be divorced from these films#okay I'm done#I got stressed about house shopping from half a country away earlier#and my brain decided to distract itself by obsessing over this#star wars#leia organa#luke skywalker#anakin skywalker

Maybe I'll say something longer later but I love sinco because I LOVE when characters get divorced and don't get back with their ex. I love when people in stories change to the point that they can't go back to the way things used to be. I love when characters can't love their ex like they used to. They don't fit anymore, they've changed too much.
I don't care if the change was good or bad, I care that it happened. I want to see a couple that's rooted in the present and build a future for themselves together. If they make eachother worse? Sure, whatever, just keep going and don't stop til someone dies.
#arcane#silco#singed#sinco#unfortunately did die in this case r.i.p.#but i think he'd think it was pretty hot how singed managed to still get what he wanted and nearly destroyed the world for it#this is also partially why i was so annoyed by ep 7 of s2#it's so obsessed with telling the viewers “No! if so and so really did this one specific at this key moment EVERYTHING would be different”#“and everyone would be happy in the end” but first that kind of idea requires everyone in the show to be far more simple than they are#two the ways in which reconciliation was reached btwn multiple parties wildly ignores the implied power dynamics btwn said parties#& most importantly three it romanticizes the past both as a concept for place and people and tries to preserve it in a way that makes#the product is nearly alien to the characters we actually know#maybe the present is shitty and the past was genuinely better but it's gone fucking go forth to the future#like a grown up

Actors need to be a little obsessed with the character they’re playing, it’s helpful in achieving the right vibe.
Unless the actor is Jensen Ackles in which case maybe they should tone it down a bit.

Oughh-- NOW I need to know more abt that camboy Floyd 👀👀 I feel like people would love his energy and his moodiness would make a good element of surprise. I dunno if he hides his face or not, but if he does, there are probably times that he just accidentally shows his face and just roll with it. Also, do you think he and Jade at some point do streams together? Like making those threesome fantasies for their fans out there?
He's really good at what he does. You're so right!! Everyone loves his energy, his lack of a filter, his willingness to try everything at least once, the way he's so himself without the need for a complicated act. There's a unique intimacy to his streams. Maybe it's because sometimes he's too lazy or bored to bother with a full show, so he just sits back and strokes himself mindlessly while making empty conversation with the viewers. They eat it up. <3
Floyd doesn't stick to a schedule. In fact, it's a miracle if he even remembers to stream once a week. ^^;;; sometimes he just doesn't show up. He's a little careless like that, as his streams are usually mood dependent, but when he does start a stream you can be sure everyone's piling in, desperate to watch him in all of his glory. He has such a filthy mouth on him, too. Dirty talk is second nature to Floyd, carried out so perfunctory you'd think he lives and breathes sex (which is sort of true... ;;;). You don't know it, but most of these streams are done because they're fun and interesting but also so he can get rid of the pent-up frustrations he has. He's so in love with you, but you want nothing to do with him and that drives him crazy. He doesn't give up, of course. Persistence is his middle name, or at least it should be with how determined he is to, at the very least, get your number.
I like to imagine Floyd and Jade kidnap the cute, shy darling from their uni and they fuck you on stream. Threesome with twins gets so much views, but neither of them really cares much for viewer count or the amount of money they'll no doubt make. They're just having fun spit-roasting you in front of the camera hehe. >:)

does tommy mean that he stopped working as a normal firefighter 5 years ago? as in, he left the 118 briefly before buck joined (7 years ago) but was still a firefighter at another station for 2 years. and then became a pilot at harbor, meaning that he's been a pilot for 5 years? but isn't his current station the 217, so harbor, which he transferred to back then (see the cake hen and chim got him)? am i just dumb or does this not make any sense orz

please tell me people are joking when they say sonic prime is queerbaiting with sonic and shadow. that is not whats going on here please be serious you guys just see sonic and shadow interact in any way and become unable to turn your shipping brains off
#and even if it is a joke its still kinda annoying because people get the definition wrong all the time and this sort of thing isnt helping#queerbaiting is when they On Purpose hint at characters being gay just to appeal to gay viewers with no intention of making it official#NOT ''these characters read as gay to me but thats not what the writers were actually going for''#NOT ''my favorite ship didnt become canon''#(whatever happened to just liking a ship without expecting for it to become canon anyway)#you can think sonic and shadow are gay if you want to i literally do not care#unlike most other sonic and shadow interactions i can definitely see why people think some of their scenes in sonic prime are gay#but i highly doubt the writers were intentionally trying to hint that theyre in love like . come on.#nothing they do is inherently romantic whatsoever some of the sonic and shadow moments that get labelled as gay#are things sonic does with his other friends too and people dont freak out nearly as much in those cases#why is it always the so/nadow obsessed people who are annoying about this stuff#like sonic and knuckles are gay as hell but i never see people accuse sega of queerbaiting with them

I’ll never get around to drawing/writing this BUT Hannibal Cutthroat Kitchen AU where Hannibal is the host and the contestants are unknowingly cooking people during those insane challenges. And Will goes undercover on the next season as a contestant bc he believes that TV personality Hannibal Lector is somehow behind the string of murders that have been going on in that area and the closest he can get to him is to become a contestant on the show. And Jack reluctantly pulls some strings to get Will on the show bc he wouldn’t Shut Up about it and it’s messing with how efficient he is at his job. The problem is Will actually has to compete and he sucks at cooking anything but fish dishes, but for some Mysterious Reason he keeps winning the challenges okay goodnight 💀
