brief thoughts on mr. robot 4x11!
SPOILERS BELOW THE CUT!
Elliot talking to his sister about the stuff he's been through.:')
It was cool to see Elliot speak to Whiterose about trauma and the healing process, even acknowledge his own anger and anguish and yet in spite of this, they each continued to live. (Well, one of them, maybe) Eerily reminiscient of his previous conversation with Vera. It's like poetry, they rhyme, to paraphrase a good quote.
"I love you." "I love you, too." I'm not cryiNG HFBFBRJEJ FBD
It's weird to see Elliot… okay. Not 'normal', exactly, but his eyes in the second half are different, more relaxed, no sense of fight or flight. He's not as... emaciated isn't the right word, but he's healthier than we've likely ever seen him before; heck, even HE seems taken aback by his surroundings and it's just... it's kind of bittersweet and unnerving all at once. Even the colors in this segment more closely resemble the hopeful atmosphere from 4x10. But his coworker mentions how "cold" he can be during presentations, which I found interesting.
Elliot's attire, whilst much nicer than what he usually wears, is still understated; not much color. Tyrell's more grungy/normal clothing seems to reflect this shift, and he wears colors. Wonder what the role-reversal means? Do they trust each other? Is it entirely metaphorical?
Elliot's an ONLY CHILD? WHAT DOES IT MEAN SAM
"Your father sure likes to drink," says Elliot to Angela about her father… Price, or the stepdad, or someone else?
Is the well-dressed Elliot Sam Sepiol, or simply a TRUE amalgamation of Elliot and Mr. Robot?
Is Elliot found by paramedics at the end, as there's a noise like a siren you can hear at points??
idk man but here's a fitting song (click here if you're on a phone!)
