This is the view from one of my bedroom windows. It's lovely and I'm ultra thankful for this space. Geese, ducks, frogs, weeping willows, sometimes we see cardinals, and even hummingbirds! I was trying to help my 11 year old understand why I wanted to do a #charitywater fundraiser. I said imagine if we had no running water; that means no sinks, no baths, no washing machine, no toilets! And instead we just went out back to the pond and that's the water we used to drink, cook, wash our clothes and wash ourselves with, the same water the ducks and frogs are in right now - we will help people who do something similar and this will be better for their health and well being. On Turning 40 ...

So someone said, "Oh my word! You're turning 40 😮

Like seriously! I was more like "Hell yea! I'm turning 40.

I'm looking forward to it. Hell! I have a ton of achievements behind, super proud of so many ☺️

The only ever so slight lurking thought is that really this is midlife, well just about! I don't know many people who live over 80. I can actually count them on my hand. So in essence I've seen half of my life, grateful and blessed ♡♡♡ and equally frightening.
