It wasn’t like she was ungrateful to go on this trip with her idol, it just seemed rather strange to the young designer. There had to be more experienced people that Gabriel could have picked to accompany him. All she’s done so far was won a few small design competitions and the hat competition he hosted not too long ago.

                 There was a saying the girl had heard once: The change of weather brought on pain on the bones of those who had lived through change to remind them of what they had been through. It was merely a fanciful telling of the reason why people who were older felt the creaks and groans of ache through their body when seasons changed, and it didn’t deter from her worry over the man she had encountered.

                A man, who had at the very least, had been her idol for more than half a decade.

                Speaking to him without the guise that hid her identity would have merely reduced her fumbling, much the way it did with the younger Agreste. But here, as a hero and not an avid fan, finding a man who was struggling to walk, it made her heart ache for him, despite the joke to lighten it from the situation it was.

                A hand moved out to touch his back, the much younger and resilient hero moving to give assistance to him. “I don’t think I’ll be able to stop that.” She bantered back, perhaps a little too used to such humor coming from her partner. “But, I can help you home. I’m sure that you being out here like this is causing a worry. Let me help you.”

                There was nothing ulterior of it, nothing but the desire to help. After all, good citizens helped old ladies across streets, why not a spotted hero help an older man home?

I-I’m so sorry!” Already digging in her purse for her handkerchief, managing to bump into someone and spilling her open bottled water all over herself and her victim. “I-I missed my bus and then its tire blew from a pot hole an-” Nearly frozen when she finally looked up to offer the cloth to him, quickly realizing his importance based on his clothing alone. This was not the best way to start her first day of her new job.

She didn’t even give him a chance to speak before taking a defensive stance. She was tired, exhausted even and she was in no mood to deal with him right now. It was evident on her face that she was stressed and distracted, regardless she was able to keep her emotions in check. She had to remind herself that she could not let herself fall, there were too many people counting on her.
