I am surprised that nobody has mentioned how odd it is that the warlock at the Shadow Market called himself “Shade”, and that he was green. I’m assuming this is in reference to Mortmain’s dad in TID, but what is the significance here? 

Additionally, if there are not enough Shadowhunters to run all the institutes, why didn’t the Dearborns just make a play to have other institutes re-opened by Cohort members?

Rant! 😡

So! I heard that people are sending Cassandra Clare hate over the adaptation of the movie....oh that's pissed me off. Firstly! There is something called rights, Cassie has SOLD the books rights to people so she has literally not that much say in what happens! Secondly! If they want to be critical of the author who they call themselves a 'fan' of then wise the fuck up! If you were a fan you would not hate the author for the poor adaptation but the company who bought the rights to the book! It is ridiculous! And these 'fans' have not wrote what, 13 book that are at least 300+! And that takes a hell of a lot of dedication! Ok, so the movie of CoB was not fabulous, but does it not ever occur that they might have learnt from that?! By the Angel. People are blind to the effort and work of these things! So stop being immature little shits and wise up! Sorry about that. But it's not fair, I find it disgusting that people are like that. And I don't think I'll calm down until I let out a long string of swears
