Starter for @theorangehairedgeek​ as Estelle:

From the air, Halure looks like a handful of farmhouses scattered about an enormous tree. If you didn’t know what you were looking for, the ludicrous contrast of scale would trick you into thinking you were closer to the ground than you were.

But Rita had been here before. She circled her gyro copter around the tree, slowly losing altitude as she looked for a place to land. She expected, someday, that her usual spot (flat as it was) would be appropriated as farmland, but today was not that day.

Rita set the copter down in “her” field just east of the tree. From here, you could see the inn and the mayor’s house, and the hints of the rest of the town in the tree’s shadow. As she walked through her landing checklist, Rita watched some of the children from town approach.

They’d seen her land before -- they were excited at her arrival, but they were all smart enough to stay beyond the edge of the lift rotor’s rotation. Even unpowered as it was now, a blade could still land a nasty whack.

Rita unbuckled, and headed towards town. She exchanged greetings with the children, who began clamoring for the rights to pour gas into the copter’s tank. It was one of the ways they could (reasonably) get close to the copter.

The children would be left disappointed. Rita’s attention was drawn from them to the approaching mayor of Halure. The usual pleasantries were exchanged before Rita noticed that Estelle hadn’t shown up to meet here like she normally did.

“Ah, she has locked herself in, again,” the mayor mentioned. “Writer’s Block makes her reclusive.”

“I think this is the first time I’ve been here when she’s like this,” Rita mused. “How often does this happen?”

The look on the mayor’s face was all Rita needed. She bid farewell to the mayor and the children for the moment, and headed up the path to Estelle’s small dwelling.

Could have owned one of the new, larger buildings on the edge of town. She had, initially, but had talked one of the families close to the tree into trading.

Rita knocked on the door.

Berserker stood in the midst of the rubble, looking around. She had been engaged in an intense struggle against this Grail War’s Assassin Servant, and felt like she might have at last finished them off with her Noble Phantasm... But with Assassin’s Presence Concealment, they could be anywhere in this spoke. Suddenly, she heard a noise, and turned. To her surprise, the one standing at the edge of the crater wasn’t a Servant, but what looked to be a mere boy.

      Dammit, perhaps he’s seen Tohru while she was washing her on the roof. She didn’t think it’d be much of a problem at this time of day. Hm..She’ll have to be more careful next time. Thiking it through for a moment, she waved a hand for a moment as she..attempts to come up with something convincing.

      “It’s nothing. It was something that needed to be tested for Comiket..”

A Shout out for a friend

Hey guys, this shout-out is more serious. A good friend of mine, @theorangehairedgeek has been going through some tough times lately for reasons I won't divulge for his privacy, and he could do with some friends to RP with.

He may have said some things to some of you, some things which may have given you the wrong impression of him. He was struggling with depression and lots of stress from school at the time, and he is trying to learn to reconcile and move on. Please can you give him another chance and give him some friendship? He really needs it right now.

I can vouch for him as a really nice, kind and friendly guy who's been a good friend and RP partner to me over these past few months. He needs friends on here to talk with and RP, so show him what an awesome group of people you are. So please, help him out, for me if nothing else.

[ I don’t have rules, but I’m very shy too, and I’m not very comfortable with IM. I’d rather just RP and talk through my character. Coffee panic!

Coffee. Ryona wasn’t one to drink too much of it, and there was a big reason for it. Whenever she started, she couldn’t quite stop. It was so nice tasting and it gave her so much energy. Ryobi would get angry at her... probably.

So here she was, early in the morning, taking refills of coffee for the fifth time. Would she get hyper? Probably.
