Because of your "valentine's day" share, my brain was hit with the thought of Garrett's (Thief) S.O. giving him a shoulder and back massage after a night of stealing things and he just melting at the care and I wanted to share the thought of Garrett basically purring and moaning with how the tight back muscles start to relax.

I know you said I didn't have to write anything, but my brain wouldn't leave me alone and I adore Garrett, so here's some headcanons! I hope you had a good Valentine's day, and thank you for the kind words and the ask!

OG! Garrett:

Complains about his pain, then refuses to let you touch him, claiming he's all right and it will pass.

Eventually, you become fed up with his antics when you notice him shifting uncomfortably in the chair by the fireplace.

So, you take action, setting your hands on his shoulders and massaging the tightness out of his muscles.

He gripes about the pain at first, then slowly settles in, accepting his fate.

It's when he begins to yawn you begin to smile to yourself, occasionally carding your hand through his short hair and caressing his face.

By the time you're through with him, he's more than ready for bed, much less cranky than he was, muttering his thanks. He pulls you into him when he thinks you're fully asleep.

2014! Garrett

Returns to the clock tower complaining about how sore he is before setting to work on all of his new papers and treasures.

He's stood admiring his collection and scheming how to fill in the gaps when you set to work on his shoulders.

Garrett groans in appreciation, melting into your touch and whispering his thanks so low only the two of you could hear.

When you offer to work on his back, he all but darts to lay on his stomach in bed.

He lets out moans and other various noises of pleasure as you start between his shoulder blades and work your way down.

It isn't until you ask him if there's anywhere else he's sore that you realize he's fallen asleep, steady breaths and a soft snore.

You cuddle into his side after removing whatever gear you could from his person without waking him.
