Oh, this is a fabulous question, I'm going to have a fantastic time answering this, thank you!

First, I want to make clear though that this is just my opinion and my take on Fade's character. You're welcome to write her how you like and if you disagree with my headcanons, that's okay! You're welcome to form your own.

Now, for my answer.

I think when writing Fade it's important to keep in mind that her driving force is loyalty. Almost everything she does is in service to someone she cares about - usually him - and she will pursue this service even to her own detriment.

She blackmailed the Protocol even though they would probably have killed her if she failed, and when they offered to help her and gave her information on how to further her search, she joined them. She throws herself so hard into her work it makes her seriously unwell at times, such as when she got so distressed and sleep-deprived that Brimstone needed to send her on a wellness vacation to Vietnam to recover.

Through her voicelines and additional lore (such as the audio recording of Cypher interrogating her) we can glean that her manner of speaking is informal and "masc". She calls people "abi" in the same way one might say "dude" or "bro". She's friendly with her teammates, offering them coffee and encouragement (and we also know she has a network of friends in the Protocol, with Clove's D&D club for example). She's arrogant and clearly recognises her own skills, but on top of that, we also know that she's heavily depressive, angry, and fearful. She's terrified of losing him, but we know she's beginning to believe he might be dead from when they didn't find him in the Hourglass cells. "You live until you're forgotten, right?"

When I'm writing her I tend to write from the perspective of a woman who's deeply afraid, but not for herself. She sees very little value in her own life, at least when she isn't using her life to serve. She's self-sacrificing and too easily puts herself in harms way if she believes it will protect those she loves, and when she's struggling she isolates herself. From the Vietnam situation, we've seen it takes other people reaching out for her to get the help she needs when things are dire, and when she didn't find him in Hourglass, she was very clearly upset but didn't ask for help, instead kind of solidifying in her resolve to continue the search without giving up on him.

When things are good, I think she's a pretty loving person. A lot of people depict her as edgy all the time but I think that's doing her a disservice, personally. She's depressed and self-sacrificing and I think without help she could very easily fall into dangerous patterns (I imagine she uses smoking, drinking, hookups with strangers etc to cope with how bad she feels).

That said though, she's a good person. She's warm with her teammates and has a sense of humour with them. She can be optimistic in dire situations, too, although likely this is just to avoid accepting the reality of him possibly being dead. I think when she loves someone, she does it in a way that needs communication to work, because she could otherwise love them in a way that could be smothering or overly possessive, but when she doesn't need to be permanently afraid, she'd be a great person to be in love with.

I imagine that love as a concept is very hard for her, now. This is a hc, but I imagine that after the pain of losing him and how close it's come to killing her a number of times now, she'd be terrified of loving people again. I think she'd push people away long before ever accepting she wants them, and it would take a lot of time for her to believe she deserves to love another, especially if she's falling in love before saving him. Loving someone is distraction, it's attention spent off of the trail of hunting him, but it's also shockingly vulnerable. It's putting her heart on the chopping block and hoping her partner won't cut it.

ugh, I love her. Apologies for this really long answer - I really, really love both Fade and Neon and I have a LOT to say about them both, and how they work together. I really enjoyed answering this, thank you so much for the question and I hope this can help a little!

Okay, I just finished watching Transformers One, and this is my take on it. so buckle in, cause this is gonna get deep

First things first. The movie is GREAT! I'm loving the animation style and lore, take that bayverse! This is definitely gonna give new fans a fantastic idea of transformers at its finest. I'm so excited for the new generation of transformers fans that are gonna be raised on this

Me and @fusciaguardian had actually been talking about how a new transformers movie should turnout, before the trailers had even come out. It's the funniest thing, cause we had both agreed that it should go back before the war, and take lots of notes from Transformers Prime. And look at this! A dude from the prime team literally designed the thing, and it was staged before the war!!

Gotta say, I rlly love the lore and history for cybertron. it makes sense, and it goes in a understandable line. It includes all the important aspects of the Transformers universe, like the quintissons, the evil system that lead to Megatron's motivation, and sentinel prime being a jerk XD

But like seriously, stop making main female characters pink. Idk, MAKE THEM RED, MAKE THEM MULTICOLORED. Like seriously, both Arcee and Elita-1 are main female leads and are still pink. Why has nobody fixed this? TFP was onto something, Arcee looked great blue! And Beast wars the movie made Arcee red! Those are great color choices!

I guess this is prolly where we go into everything that went wrong with the movie.

Like serious, everything was great until Orion Pax decided to suddenly be the 'better person' and stop D-16 from taking out the jerk that literally abused and hurt an entire planet of people! Like, if megayron didn't do it, then I'm sure the 100 million other cybertronians who just realized their entire life was a lie would like to step. LIKE SERIOUSLY ORION. YOU REALLY MESSED UP

and the whole 'leadership' thing at the beginning. Like seriously pax, just cause D-16 wasn't following your orders and going along with your plan (like why even would he? He has literally been the brunt of everything that you messed up. Like that time you stepped out of line, he took the punch for you) and because 'oh no' dark music was playing, didn't mean D-16 was doing anything wrong. He had literally just had his life turned upside down. He was gonna step up, and do something about it. What did you think Pax? That you were gonna be the leader? Well sorry, but the world doesn't always revolve around the white boys.

I just really hated that part. They didn't have to make it like that. Like oh noes, foreshadowing NAH. NAH BRO. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG HAPPENING HERE.

Orion just really messed up. Everything after that point just went to disaster and rubbish. Like, at the end, nobody saw what D-16 did. Nobody knew how he stepped up for his people. How he lead, what he did. And Pax is never gonna tell him. Pax knows what D-16 went through. He knew his best friend was hurting, and he turned on him. And you know what he did afterward? He basically became the next Sentinel Prime. He kept the system that was hurting people in place, and kept information from the public. He didn't tell then what really happened. He painted a pretty picture: Prime good. Megatron and Decepticons back. He didnt give them more options. Limited options, same system, facade of secrets and lies. He is the next Sentinel Prime.

like, not to mention, what are you gonna do about the Quintissons? They're gonna come back, and they're gonna expect their shipload of energon.

Like seriously, what were the Primes even thinking?! Of course they would go for Pax, the teachers pet, lucky little white boy that gets everything without having to work for it like D-16 had to.

But that aside, I've thought of at least two other ways the movie could have gone better.

Pax and D-16 work together. Pax understands D's frustration, and tells him, "you take care of Sentinel Prime, and we'll take care of broadcasting the proof." Two birbs with one stone. Pax listens to D-16's ideas, and realizes that he would make a great leader, he even tells D-16 that he would make a great next Prime. He then takes D-16's as advisor, and they plan out a new and better world together with the people. And what exactly they're gonna do with the Quintissons problem.

Elita-1 and Bee are with D-16 when it happens. Elita was hoping for a punch at Sentinel herself. She is shocked and angered when Prime decides to be a goody-two shoes. And even more horrified when he turns on his own friend. Like seriously, she knew Pax was stupid, but she didn't think he was that stupid. She runs to D-16's side, Bee following (bro rlly doesn't know what's going on, or why his friends are fighting. It makes him sad, he really thought Pax was a nice guy) Elita-1 and Bee retreat with D-16 and the Decepticons. With Prime sitting there like an idiot, being all self-pitying over why his friends are 'betraying' him. Elita and D-16 co-lead, we all know their both good leaders, and Bee is just sort of there. He's almost like the kid of the court, and sweet and innocent, everyone loves him, but he is utterly useless, and does not have a braincell to his name. But they all love him for it. The decepticons male it their goal to reveal Pax's treachery and deceit. And reveal the truth once and for all.

Thats about it, all in all, I loved the movie. Watched it with my family, my mom, my sibling, we'll all with Megatron :3

- kenshi pinches johnny. a lot. as a joke, as a corrective action when johnny's being odd about something, for no reason at all. it's like the urge to bite, but... pinch.

- in return johnny gets to be a biter. not even just in bed, everywhere (except for around other people). johnny's the type to just give into the urge to gently gnaw on kenshi and kenshi lets him. lovingly.

- johnny is wildly defensive of kenshi. kenshi asked that johnny just not joke about his blindness for a while, and johnny was happy to do so. that also included, apparently, johnny snarling at anyone who DOES make blind jokes at kenshi's expense.

- they're t4t and tism4tism.

- they're also, even though it doesn't have a term yet, both disabled. kenshi being blind obviously, and johnny i actually headcanon as being hypermobile. very hypermobile. and there's really only so much being very very strong can do when you're that hypermobile and your joints are determined to get weird, so johnny probably does have occasional pain flare-up days. they'll stay inside and take care of each other

- or, if the responsibilities that day are unavoidable, johnny will take a cane or crutch with him to town, and kenshi wil tag along, returning the favor of biting anyone who makes a joke at johnny's expense (that johnny obviously isn't okay with)

- kenshi is scary dog privileges

- johnny, when he's the guard, is creepy cat privileges (i made that up but there's no better way to describe it)

- to expand on johnny being hypermobile- no grown-ass man in his late 20s is hitting the splits that fucking easily, painlessly, without prior stretching. he's just death dropping in some of his animations. and i just don't think he has a stretching routine for that. it's his party trick, something he can just *do*.

- kenshi finds johnny's flexibility wildly hot

- (when it's not causing him pain, ofc)

- kenshi's tattoos weren't done himself but at some point johnny unlocks the lore that kenshi apprenticed under one of the tattoo artists in the yakuza, and actually graduated to full artist before he left the yakuza. kenshi is a seasoned tattoo artist

- johnny jokes about opening a flower shop across from him so they can be just like the stories. kenshi doesn't understand the reference.

-they have an actual conversation at one point about the after-- once kenshi has completed his quest, and johnny's career is fully winding down. the plan is to get a flat above a storefront, and turn the storefront into a tattoo shop.

- kenshi wears sleeveless turtleneck compression shirts when working out and johnny fans himself like a victorian maiden every time

- (last one i prommy) johnny once wore a clownish formal outfit to the gala celebrating the success of the ninja mime movie. to this very day, kenshi maintains that one was his favorite outfit johnny's ever worn on the red carpet.

YES! johnny is super defensive of kenshi not because he thinks he needs to be, he knows kenshi can hold his own, but because he cares about him too much. i’m sure at first when it was still raw johnny never made any comments but i’m sure it reaches a point where kenshi starts joking about it himself and assures johnny he’s come to terms with it. but if anyone else makes a comment OOOH it’s over for them.

i rlly do love trans headcannons for them. whether it’s t4t or one of them is trans while the other is cis i do not care i eat that up every time. I ALSO FOR SURE SEE TISM4TISM!! johnny has the hyper fixations/knows random facts autism while kenshi has the not really sure how to handle your emotions autism. i think he gets overstimulated too which is also from his other senses being heightened once vision was gone.

I NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT HIM BEING HYPERMOBILE BUT IT MAKES TOTAL SENSE! he’s doing the splits on the battlefield i mean come on?!?!??!? (i saw you mentioned this later on LMFAO see u get it)

yes 100% johnny gets scary dog privileges cause of kenshi. too many fans in his face? kenshi doesn’t even EYES for god’s sake and i’m sure a look in their direction will scare them off at least somewhat. and johnny is for sure creepy cat. it’s like “can i come over and be weird and offputting” literally him.

oh yeah the flexibility while it has its downsides for sure comes in handy sometimes. (in bed) i know kenshi is manhandling him into wild positions and johnny loves it. so does kenshi of course.

I’VE POSTED ABOUT THE FACT THAT I DO THINK KENSHI HAS AN INTEREST IN TATTOOS THAT ARENT HIS OWN! he could definitely tattoo johnny i just know he has steady hands and it would come out so awesome.

kenshi not getting the flowershop thing is so real johnny definitely then went off on a long tangent explaining it. i feel like they could just be grocery shopping and something gets johnny going and he goes off on a long spiel as they’re walking around, i’m sure this is an often occurrence. kenshi loves listening to him talk but again, the heightened senses, he probably does occasionally need to rest his head so he kisses johnny to shut him up LMFAO (and it always works that man is so easily distracted)

overall the game is good imo and I think steelwool improved a lot, I’m not to sure abt the lore drop I’m still processing it I don’t hate it I think I was just more used to the book lore. I do like that this game did had a lot of elevators mentions foreshadowing Cassie’s fate in the future.

yeah same I think the game quality has improved insanely and I'm very happy to see their progress and how they have more ability and are able to do cooler things with more polish and they have more wiggle room. I definitely have my complaints with the game but I'm also not a big mimic fan so I'm not looking at all of the Edwin David Fiona and mimic lore going "wow omg this is so peak to see my fav characters like this" which I'm sure a lot of people are doing because I'm sure for someone who rlly likes that story is foaming at the mouth at how they treated the characters and story. it's great content for people who really like it but I'm not one of those ppl so I don't have that feeling of peak influencing my opinion of the game. I think it's good overall even great especially with the game design in general but I feel like it's definitely still missing stuff, like more endings and secrets. once again I just think I'm not as into it because I'm not as into the mimic and early fazbear ent lore. it's just that simple that that's why I'm not super happy with the game

but it DOES make me really excited for the future games. knowing that they've probably started development on it by now and it could be about characters I like like ggy because of how scotts been teasing ggy it's really exciting. bc after overlooking the sotm content without it being a first impression it isn't too insane like it makes sense and is faithful to the book lore, just with some changes and additions like F10N4. it's pretty straightforward which THANK GOD and it isn't far fetched once again it makes sense. it makes me excited for how they could treat or expand upon the ggy book lore with characters like Tony. because even with how I don't care much for characters like Edwin and Fiona, I appreciated a lot how they wrote and treated those characters & thought Fiona especially was really charming.

overall the future looks bright for when they eventually and inevitably get to my faves again but the bad thing is really just knowing we have to wait again and it'll probably be next year until we even get anything at all, MAYBE we get a trailer. I don't even know what the next game could be as well like a ggy game makes sense but also doesn't and I have no idea if sotm will have a dlc. but we'll just have to wait and see. at least a sotm dlc is promising bc everything in the past was already talked about in sotm to they'd have to make a sotm dlc about the future aka my shaylas so I wouldn't be mad about a sotm ruin-style dlc expanding upon mxes at all

Queen Herrah (KoD AU)

(Spoilers for hk & spider/arachnophobia warning)

The last of the 3 dreamers, Mama Herrah herself (sounds a bit like Hera from Greek mythology, very unsure if that was intentional by the devs or not.)

Might draw the main cast afterwards (or well the 4 characters that are iconic when it comes to hk. & by hk i mean the original not my au's storyline itself.) Also yes I did a extreme change to Herrah's design bcs in Canon she kinda looks... idk kinda weird to me. So yeh overhaul on her design for my AU, KoD. Also if you know what the beast part in her species is, well... In my hk universe, the term "beast" is used for any sentient creature who walk on more than 2 legs but are sapient & have language. (Doesn't technically be humanoid, but are mostly humanoid)

So uh... yeh... This version of Herrah is extremely huge, like very huge, & much of most of Deepnest, she wears a mask (which is also, apparently, her dreamer mask) this is a form of mimicry to hopefully catch their unsuspecting prey. Many many years before the infection, she had a partner, who was apart of the honored caste that existed in Deepnest (whom in my universe were also hella cannibalistic to please the spider tribe), at a certain point, her partner pretty much got consumed by his fellow caste members, leaving her w/o a heir. Despite her being well... a common beast to the normal bug, she had power over the spider clan & most of Deepnest herself, & very much against the Pale King & his followers. However when the infection came about, she was asked by the Plae King to become a dreamer, at first declining as she very much doesn't want to associate with him, but realizing if she dies from the infection, there wouldn't be a heir to take her place, so she eventually accepted, but only bcs she wanted to have abheir, specifically a duaghter. In short 2 heirs were born (Yes 2), one was the particular Hornet, the other? Her name was Weirette. After this Herrah went into deep sleep, now leaving the 2 girls w/o a mother to take care of them. (As hornet was taken away to be raised by her dad & Weirette... no one knows what happened to Weirette...) After the seal was broken & she woke up from her long slumber, her mask became broken as well (aka her disguise), but even though deepnest was still the same, everything she knew was never the same... So she in turned decimated anyone whom is confirmed to be infected or looks infected. She still possibly lives in the semi-vacant place she calls home. (Btw this version of Herrah is not rlly much of a speaker, & by speaker I mean she doesn't speak in "common" or not very well verse in it, she mainly speaks in clicks & hisses)

(This is all my lore, as the only lore there was stated is her being the mother of Hornet, she's one of the 3 dreamers, & she's the queen of the Spider Tribe in deepnest. Also I did make her species a black widow bcs I thought it make sense for her to be one. I've actually drawn Herrah before but that old version is well.. old now & does not belong into KoD anymore. Btw Weirette is a future OC of mine.)

Leshy comes back from godhood and death as a literal infant, it takes him the longest to come back too, his siblings are all there already. Lamb comes out confused and very concerned like, "is this normal?" And the four are staring in horror because Leshy is so Tiny, but he retained the wounds he gained from godhood implying HE WAS A BABY THE ENTIRE TIME.

Turns out the green crown just aged Leshy up much faster than normal cause it was panicked and also growing weaker by the day, it had to be quick and do this just to survive. It feels guilt for doing this, sure, but it doesn't regret doing it. But now the cult has to deal with four overprotective and somewhat broody ex-bishops that are making things Very Difficult for everyone else, as they all basically disappeared after a few days and were later found in a moved house that had a giant spider nest entrance to it.

Lamb then nearly had a heart attack and died when Narinder suddenly shoots out ready to kill before ducking back into the nest without a word. Definitely not exactly in character for them likely, but it's fun to think about, especially baby wormling Leshy

bsf lore. warning, it's not crazy and prob therefore boring

I met my bsf when I was 3 yrs old. we were both at a princess class (don't ask). one of the actors thought me and him were siblings when we didn't know eachother. after that we were buddies for the whole day. our mom's exchanged info. turned out she was almost a yr older than me and lived a town over, someplace my family and I never needed to go. me and my bsf never would have met if not for this class.

Anyway, I can say I do not remember living without them. I don't remember my life before we were best friends. they have been my only bsf. we have known each other now for 14 yrs. I hope to keep knowing them 4ever.

we have never fought. not even as kids. no arguments over toys or different games to play (tho I did get very annoyed when she didn't want to play pretend horror lol, sure she had those moments w me too). the closest thing to an argument w him I remember was when he made me feel not smart by bragging abt school, and I cried to my mom abt it, and my mom brought it up to him and he started crying. but as soon as that happened we were hugging and saying sorry and it was over. that's all.

I have not gone more than a month without seeing them for as long as I can remember. this became rlly rought when they graduated last spring. now they live 8 hours away and I went all of fall without seeing her. :( I gen believe that the absence of her in my life played a huge role in my mental breakdown, but I will never tell her that.

Anyway I am pretty much in love w her. probably, idk. for the past year everytime we hang out I'm thinking abt how good a life w her would be. we have so much in common, seriously, and I want to spend the rest of everything in wtv way they'll allow me to for the rest of my life.

I see him as the kindest most selfless person in my world. I would have kms by now if not for him. I have had a few vivid nightmares where he takes his life, I can gen say that those r the worst dreams I've had. we have both struggled w a lot of the same mental health issues, thought I think mine might be more severe in the present. I'm always worried that they are actually like me rn. I'm always worried that I'm putting to much on them by having my problems. but if either of those things were true I would do anything to alleviate it. I can also gen say that seeing her cry makes me cry. like fr, not metaphorically; literally.

and in these past few months of terrible depression, all I rlly want is him. which doesn't make much sense, bc we never get thst emotionally intimate with eachother, but it's true. I've had to rework some of my future college plans bc I js can't do this shit how it is and I think being around them would help so much. in my world, I see them as my other half, even if I'm not theirs. and ig I'm okay w that. i do have some jealousy issues regarding her, but wtv.

it was clear by the end that the lore was not meant to rlly build on k!q and q!q because he wants to leave them open. Maybe it was hard to add anything to either karmaland or qsmp because they could return in the future, so he was kind of stuck on those two?

Yeah, like conceptually it really doesn't leave a lot of places to go with it while preserving continuity. If I can put on my tinfoil for a sec, maybe the goal was as you said, to be a send-off to c!q and the easiest way to do that without having to dredge up the whole dsmp thing was to make it a multiverse. And then killing that character to close that chapter of his life, make it so he can't (or won't have to) go back to it.

I think Q is good as an actor and doing dialogue and concepts, but something he really struggles with IMO is good narrative Structure. Like in k5, it really felt to me that he made it so the memory wipe was truly the only option for the server to ever go back to semi-normal instead of endlessly ramping up the conflict between him and Luzu. With this; again; there should have been an IMPACT the 3 Q's made on eachother in the at LEAST vague sense of "oh i'm gonna not kill myself bc of that experience", which fits within the continuity perfectly fine.

Claire has a very thick Irish accent and strong dialect, which she got mocked for a lot in school, so she's semi-self conscious about that. 22: How does jealousy manifest itself in them? She gets stabby. 39: How easy is it for them to ignore flaws in other people? It genuinely just depends on whether these flaws impede her or not. If someone is the absolute worst but in a way that doesn't impact Claire, that's just fine. But if she doesn't like someone she'll find EVERYTHIIIIING to dislike about them. I can't help but wonder if it was because of the fact they were releasing 4 plushies at the same time. If I'm being honest I feel like mephone's was the most shoved in there. like out of all of them he's the one that seems to have the least care put into him. Like dgmw it's clear the plushie that had the most "work?" put into it is bot, I don't own a bot plushie and don't plan to buy a bot plushie but when you compare them to Fan or Mephone or even TT it's VERY clear where the budget went

and Ik when you compare them some could argue "TestTube or Fan have much more simpler designs then Bot!" which not really I mean you got fan's whole uhh being a Fan thing, but if we even take a look at the PB plushie or SHIT even the yin yang plushie there is a difference

examples: Pb's shine is embroidered with this shiny string, it's a small detail but it looks good, also Pb's metal part, it's a different 3d part of the plushie giving it depth(can I use this terms idk I'm not into the plush design lore sorry, but also from watching fanf plush reviews I recall most people dislike things that are printed on fabric(I do so as well lol)

meanwhile for fan they added this "shading" thing, which I understand why it's not embroidered it's pretty long and big, But like, the only reason they have that is so you know what his shade is meant to look like because they body of the plushie couldn't portray that well enough.

And for yin yang, even if their plush is LITERALLY just a ball and yet I'd say they look rlly good, their design looks like somebody who knows what/who yin yang inanimate insanity made them into a plush. It may be less complicated then TestTube for example but you can feel like the person making Yin-Yangs desgin cared

(HI!!! me it's me from the future here after I wrote all of this to tell you readers I kind of drift off into a whole talk about why the ladder II plushies might seem so lowbudget/quality lol)

I've noticed the II plushies have started doing this weird printed on shading thing, like with Balloon here

now they had done shading before but it was limited, such as lightbulbs dot shine on her forehead, HOWEVER that dotshine has this line emobirded line on it, helping it pop out and removing that “ew printed on fabric” feel(idk if it’s actually printed on fabric help me I’m not a plushie expert). And also that shine/shading isn’t trying to compensate for the lack of depth in the plush?(I’m going off photos but from the one photo I’ve seen when compared to yinyang his ass is flat as fuck, so I’m guessing this was added for the same reason fan had his weird shading thing added)

Shit I know I said the bot Plush looks good but even they are suffering form “printed on shading added on for no reason” syndrome

On Lightbulbs plush the shading is not overused, but it also doesn't feel like it shouldn't be there, it adds something nice to that big ass forehead of hers/lh. Meanwhile with Balloon it feels like you took an image of him from the show and turned him into a plush, without really thinking about it, almost like a machine. His shading exist to try to make him more round lo

which might be why so many people on this post have said "they look like bootlegs" because some certain other plush creators have also used that tactic! Which I personally feel like can explain why the newer II plushies truly feel so off

ever wondered why these things look so off? Espcially the ones not based on pre existing plushies well that's acctually because they just got random assets off the wiki and based the plushies of them with no greater thoguh

TLDR: I feel like the quality is going down because their attemtping to desgin/produce mulitple plushies at once and also I feel like they might not be putting as much though into the process bai!!

god i am so so mad at how low quality the recent ii plushies have been. like it's one thing to fuck up the faces (the more simple, but also the more annoying problem- a simple :) face never failed, why do object show merchandisers keep trying to give them different faces) but oh my god at least make the base object bodies in higher quality

Lore and stuff is a grey area, but I've made a post about how vampires in my story came to be from a previous ask.

Instead, I'll talk about how i designed Luke's upbringing and how I slotted him and vampire!Leia into the original plot of the OT!

Here goes, thank you so much:

I wrote the first chapter of BBB on a whim, fully expecting it to go completely under the dinluke radar, and it turns out people liked it! I thought for a while about how a vampire could exist in star wars, and I came to the conclusion that Luke would be veiled, susceptible to the occasional blood cravings, and a hopeless insomniac (due to his kind being nocturnal).

First of all, how would this fare with Tatooine being his place of upbringing?

Well, Shmi raised Anakin, learned all she could, and taught it to Beru (link to this piece is up there ^ how vampires came to be) so, Beru learned after taking in Luke that she would have to feed him blue milk and fruit to suppress the blood cravings and dress him in many layers to avoid sunburn and sickness.

(Leia's adoptive parents did not have this knowledge, this is talked about in Ch2, Where Fruit Doesn't Grow) here's a snip to explain:

Shmi had taught Beru everything she knew before her brutal murder: how to keep a vampire’s fragile skin healthy, how to make the medicines and pastes needed for burns out of cheap herbs you could find at any market, and, especially, how to appease the appetite of an adolescent with a craving for blood. Despite the troubles with two suns, and Luke’s often reckless behaviour, on a planet where life was scarce, food was their biggest problem.

Beru had never let that stop her. Whether it meant long hour shifts or staying out late at night to kill and sell large creatures, she always made sure she had saved enough money to buy Luke’s favourite treats from the local fruit import at the end of each ten-day. That, and bantha milk, seemed to cut off need for red meat for a short while, and Luke would be forever grateful that he didn’t have to live the way he was born.

Even if being “normal” meant sneaking out to eat fruit and climb trees each night.

And while Beru was almost always busy, convinced that it was her job to provide for the child she loved so much, Uncle Owen stayed home. He taught Luke how to fix rusty parts of vapour spires, or how to cook simple dishes, while his wife taught Luke how to use a farmer’s rifle.

She’d been loved, cared for, she’d taken on the role of Princess and then Senator at a younger age than many simply because of her powerful and intelligent role models.

But they didn’t know how to raise a vampire.

Leia would run away, climb trees and watch the starships fly by from the canopies. A life without the rules that Luke had lived by, but it had left her susceptible to sun-sickness and often heatstroke. All things had their price.

So, that was that bit covered, but how does this work with the original trilogy? The bits we see, anyway?

I'll go into what I did in ch10 and 11, a little into 9, and what I'll do in future to explain.

In ch10 and 11 we see (from a separate perspective that I can't tell you about unless you've read those chapters) Luke's return from blowing up the Death Star at the Battle of Yavin, and Luke's final victory after his duel with Vader and his punishment from Palpatine during the Battle of Endor.

In ch10, BY, as it isn't Luke's perspective, I don't need to go into depth about his senses, his experience, or the X-Wings tinted windows to block out harmful sunlight — this is all however referenced in previous and future chapters.

Neither did I have to in ch11 — again, we see it from someone else's view — but we do see a moment between Luke and Leia, where his sister is tending to his burn wounds.

Ch2: The scorching dash of white lightning that had climbed his skin and imprinted itself forever on his body.

Ch9: The flashing lights, rippling the starless sky like silver fish in a black lake, sent Luke back to the Emperor’s throne room on the second Death Star, writhing in the most agony he’d ever felt. It was worse than sunlight: a sensation of scorching heat, wrapping like vines around his body, unwilling to let go, and permanently damaging his skin when he had never before suffered any more than sun-sickness.

Finally, Ch11: The lightning had fractured him, left long, red cuts and burns along his toned body. They were even on his face, crossing his nose and either cheek in one long strike that split into thinner lines like the tributaries of a scorched, red river. His blue eyes were wet with tears, and his face morphed into an exhausted scowl.

Luke's skin — him being vampiric — is weak and easily scarred. When I rewatched RotJ, I immediately knew that I couldn't have him completely unscathed after the lightning incident, considering that just meer minutes in the sun causes him immense pain.

I know some are extreme (like any other fandom shippers) but most of us think Byler make sense because of how they have treated Mike and El's relationship on the show as opposed to the other relationships. If others don't see it, that's all right you know? Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but that anon was making it seem like a such a big deal. If someone doesn't agree with us, that's ok, but we don't hate El or Mike. At all. On the contraire, Mileven shippers hate Will with a passion and have been very homophobic towards Noah, waay before he came out. They hate him even for breathing. (Cont) Also needed to add that, if anything, most Milevens HATE on Will like crazy and without reason because he was the one who "fixed" Mike and El's relationship. Like, if anything, Will acted the same way he has acted before, very normal (just pining and staring a bit more but nothing too crazy) and his love for Mike is shown to be positive, nothing devious as opposed to Steve with Nancy: a lof of Milevens are like "why is Will in love with Mike when he's in a relationship with El" but they never say that with Steve! Will didn't even try ANYTHING but Steve and Nancy kept flirting the entire season and people applauded that. People is allowed to like/be in love with others even if they are not single but they demonize Will for it and not Steve? I know you don't really care about these things but I feel that is important to share. We just need to respect people's opinion if we don't agree with it.

Pls the last thing I meant to get into was some byler/mileven thing here lol; help. I don’t even follow the fights in those fandoms and just hope the characters are happy and miss Byers fam scenes 😭

But re: Steve, people def criticized the nugget speech but no one rlly criticizes Steve for hitting on Nancy when he knew she has a bf; there was like a viral tik tok criticizing Nancy for being disrespectful for hugging Jonathan, her bf, in front of Steve lol. But anyway, I would like to see Jonathan, Nancy, and Steve interact, esp Steve and Jonathan and the whole older teen group.

My thing is just people trying to make cc friendships happen in canon. Like I get you like cc!Bedrock Bros I do too! It doesn't mean they have to get along in canon. cc!Technoblade de-canonized SBI family because he thought it didn't make any sense for his character to turn on his brothers so he removed the brother aspect.

And like that should be allowed. Techno should be allowed to write his character however he wants without fans trying to dismiss his work.

I love cc!Prime Boys so much they're one of my favorite friendships to witness. I don't want c! Dream anywhere near c!Tommy. honestly i don't think c!dream will get a redemption arc, dream has said on multiple occasions that he doesn't think ppl should be sympathetic towards c!dream at all so idk i don't think he'd be interested. plus i feel like he's done too much for it to be worth it/make sense: even if he redeemed himself, i feel like the only ppl who would forgive him would be c!george, c!puffy and maybe c!sapnap. not to mention if he really took accountability for his actions, he'd have to willingly stay in the prison (which idk. that's just the same situation we're in rn, only c!dream feels bad, so it feels kinda boring plot wise?). also it would definitely be a rlly controversial thing between viewers (and ofc they shouldn't just do things to please ppl, but a c!dream redemption arc would definitely piss off a bunch of fans). also im just not sure c!dream has it in him tbh, like, he's never once shown any regret for his actions or sympathy for his victims (when c!tommy was yelling at him for killing him, he just asked if ppl thought it was cool and even in the l'manberg war for independence (before he went completely off the rails and lots of ppl on the server still liked him) after the final control room and his duel with c!tommy he didn't even seem remotely regretful that he'd taken like 6 canon lives in one day - like, even the least evil we've ever seen him, he still kinda sucked). idk i think a c!dream redemption arc would be rlly interesting (and difficult to pull off) but i don't think it ever rlly has a chance of happening

like looking back at my ask i said “idk if i would call it a redemption arc” re what i want to see in c!dream’s future. like. we can’t just kill him off. he’s one of the most interesting characters in the server. if he’s gone the main conflicts, the main tension, is mostly gone, or the story is just over. i want to know more about him, i wanna see what he will do, be it get worse or better. i want to know like. more backstory? more reasons why he does what he does? does he mean the things he says? does he actually want nothing more than control? we don’t need to sympathize with or be apologists for c!dream (unless..... we get a BIG reason to. still, like u said, probably unlikely. idk where dream said what u told me, but also we don’t know where the plot is going just as much as they do? to a certain extent? it’s partially planned, partially improvised, and with members like george choosing to get more involved in the lore a lot of things about the story could change) to want to know more about him. he’s one of the only characters whose perspective we rarely ever get to see, and w the knowledge that dream MIGHT be doing a (mostly prerecorded?) lore stream from c!dream’s perspective...... im just interested in all possibilities i guess?

and regarding c!dream’s future as a character...... idk if i WANT him to be a better person, if i want for nothing to change, or if i want him to get. even worse somehow. quite honestly i just want whatever is the most. entertaining. and narratively satisfying? and just to add: a “c!dream tries to be a better person” arc is an interesting pool of potential for me NOT because i want to see him be redeemed BUT because of the wavelengths it could create in other arcs. possibilities like 1) some characters will have to examine their own morality because some of them seem to be operating under the belief that c!dream is the standard for villainy so if they aren’t as bad as him, they aren’t bad. so what happens if he starts doing good things? 2) characters who will be casting doubt upon this, and the potential conflicts that could arise—who will take advantage of Nice Guy Dream? can he be taken advantage of? or will he always be one step ahead in terms of manipulation?

blah blah blah. it’s just fun to think about! i think it’s possible to want to see more from a character without trying to push for a narrative where they do a genuine 180 and everyone forgives them and everyone lives happily ever after. obviously, that would just be ridiculous, and it would be an injustice against the character arcs of dream smp characters who have been hurt by c!dream. hope this clears things up :)
