A3! Backstage Story Translation - Tsumugi Tsukioka SSR - Treasure Hunt: TSUMUGI - Part 2
Tumblr media Tumblr media
tysm to fuyugumiyuri on twitter for providing a video of the story!
also proofread by myuntachis!
Tsumugi: Whew…
[Door opening]
Chikage: I’m home.
Tsumugi: Oh, Chikage-san. Welcome back.
Chikage: Did you just get home too, Tsumugi?
Tsumugi: Yes, I was at a social gathering for my part-time job. You were a little late too, Chikage-san.
Chikage: I had a bit of overtime to do. It took longer than I thought.
Tsumugi: Sounds like you’re busy…
Chikage: Well, I’ve got to catch up on the work I put aside because we had to prepare for the Nihil performance.
Chikage: It looks like I’ll be done by next week, though, so no need to worry.
Tsumugi: I see…
Chikage: … You look like you want to say something.
Tsumugi: No… It’s not that important.
Tsumugi: Since we finished the Nihil performance without a hitch, I was thinking… we should have a drinking party as two people who played the same role.
Chikage: A wrap party, huh? … Why not? Like I said, I should be free from next week onwards.
Tsumugi: Really? Let’s do it, then.
Chikage: Got it. I suppose I’ll have to look for a shop.
Tsumugi: Thank you! I’m looking forward to it.
-
Staff: Welcome.
Tsumugi: Ah, I have a reservation under the name Utsuki…
Staff: Utsuki-sama, yes. You may take a seat over here.
Tsumugi: (I got to the restaurant Chikage-san made a reservation at… but it seems I got here before him.)
Tsumugi: (This is my first time here, but this seems like a good place with a nice ambiance.)
[Door opening]
Chikage: Thanks for waiting. Good work today, Tsumugi.
Tsumugi: Ah, Chikage-san. Good work today.
Tsumugi: Thank you for making a reservation. This is a wonderful place.
Chikage: Our company uses it for entertainment. It’s got a nice atmosphere, so I figured you’d like it too.
Tsumugi: Thank you. I really do like it.
Tsumugi: Did you manage to finish up your backlog at work?
Chikage: Yeah, everything’s calmed down now. Chigasaki seems to be getting busier, on the other hand.
Tsumugi: Ahaha… We’ll have to throw a drinking party as a reward for him.
Tsumugi: That aside… We drink at the dorms from time to time, but I don’t really get the chance to drink with you when you’re all suited up. This is a nice change of pace.
Chikage: When you put it like that, it’s a rather new experience for the two of us to be drinking out.
Tsumugi: Fufu, you’re right.
Chikage: For now, let’s order. What should we drink?
Tsumugi: When the Winter Troupe goes out drinking, we tend to start with beer. We could start with something else today, though.
Tsumugi: … Oh, they have plum liqueur and other kinds of fruit liqueur. Sounds delicious.
Chikage: This one’s rejuvenating, and this one’s got a sweeter taste, I suppose.
Tsumugi: Fufu, these drinks here sound like things Hisoka-kun and Juza-kun would enjoy.
-
Tsumugi: Haa… This drink is delicious.
Chikage: Tsumugi, your face is getting a little red.
Tsumugi: Really? I haven’t had the chance to drink a lot lately, so the alcohol might be getting to me a little quickly.
Chikage: Shouldn’t you take it easy on account of your schedule tomorrow?
Tsumugi: It’s okay, I don’t have anything planned. What about you?
Chikage: Banri and I are planning on going to an escape room tomorrow. But don’t worry, drinking doesn’t affect me much the day after.
Tsumugi: An escape room…
Tsumugi: Chikage-san, why won’t you go to one with me? We even promised we’d solve a mystery together again when we were studying for our role…
Chikage: We did promise that. Tomorrow’s game needs two people to form a tag team, so… I’ll invite you next time.
Tsumugi: Promise? I’ll stick a needle in your eye if you’re lying.
Chikage: … That.
Tsumugi: Huh?
Chikage: When you think about it, it’s a disturbing little rhyme.
Tsumugi: I think it just goes to show how serious of a crime lying is.
Chikage: … I see.
Tsumugi: But I think there are times when lying is necessary.
Chikage: ——
Tsumugi: But now that you mention it, sticking a needle in your eye does sound scary.
Tsumugi: So… if you’re lying, I’ll have you drink 100 drinks.
Chikage: … That sounds quite scary too, though.
Tsumugi: But you don’t seem like the type to get drunk even after you drink 100 drinks.
Chikage: I’m curious now. Want me to give it a try?
Tsumugi: If we have the chance to, by all means.
[Flashback ends]
Tsumugi: I had a pretty rough time the next day, but you seemed fine.
Chikage: I don’t think it affected me in any particular way.
Tsumugi: Even though you drank so much…
Chikage: Okay, let’s leave the reminiscing for another time.
Chikage: … Happy birthday. Here’s my gift.
Tsumugi: Woah… Is this a mystery solving game?
Chikage: Yeah. In the end, we never went to an escape room.
Chikage: I thought about getting tickets so we’d go to one together… But I figured the game would be simpler.
Chikage: You can play it with the other members, too.
Tsumugi: Thank you so much. … And it’s circus themed. It reminds me of the event we held at the abandoned amusement park.
Chikage: You said you had fond memories of that park.
Tsumugi: You remember that? You really are kind after all, Chikage-san.
Tsumugi: But, while playing this with everyone else sounds nice… I want to solve it with you first.
Tsumugi: Oh, and you have to take me to an escape room. You promised.
Chikage: … I just can’t win with you, can I? Alright.

nerd armin hc's! art by musapylsa on tt/twt
Tumblr media
cw for implied public sex, lots of biting, + tongue piercing, somnophilia(nsfw)
-
the type of guy to wait when your classes are over. he would loiter in the hallways , the jocks and popular kids brushing past him as he fixes his glasses, holding science books to his chest as he fiddled with his phone - checking your schedule.
he's a creeper, a stalker. as far as you were concerned, you always saw him hangout with his two friends, eren, mikasa and some other folks, jean..sasha?...connor? wait no, connie!
you would sometimes catch him staring way too long, eyes always on you and when you finally notice, he would blink and fix his glasses, a knuckle raising to arrange it on his face.
he would "accidentally" drop something on the ground if he was ever randomly beside you, and he knows how nice of a person you are, so you pick up whatever he dropped and he just smiles inwardly, checking you out from the back with zero to no shame.
the type to literally take pictures of you secretly and masturbate the fuck out of them the moment he's home.
"o...ohh...ahnn.." his hand fists his cock aggressively, throwing his head back as he whimpers, thighs shaking as he finally comes down, cum dribbling down his fingers.
-
another thing about him is he owns porn magazines, he stashes them away under his bed and fantasizes all the girls on the pages are you.
he would full on hump the covers, his pillow just to imagine some type of body underneath his, squeezing and moaning like a dog in heat, his brain can only think of one thing and that's you.
other times when he's not ejaculating, he talks about you to his other online friends when he games.
"they're so...h-hot..like.." he says in the microphone, grinning ear to ear as he talks about you in excruciating detail.
the guys on the other side would either cheer him on or snicker at his desperation, "woah..dude, did you like, jack off to them or something??" typical. they wouldn't get it.
"s-something like that." armin bites his lip, finishing the game and logging off.
obsessive crush behavior
this man is always on his phone/laptop so for sure he's got some online stalking habits you're not aware of at all.
he analyzes all of your old posts, every story and event you've been to, and even have them memorized in case you ever talked to him.
+ he's probably the type to over intercept basic kindness as 'romantic interest', "they smiled at me! they must want me!"
-
random stuff he does
• compliments you in an awkward, creepy sort of way, "hey....y-your collarbones are pretty.." then he'd mentally face palm thinking about how miserably bad he is at flirting.
• stares at you wayyy too long for any normal person, a hand on his chin as his eyes hyper-analyze your movements, then panics when he gets caught.
• brings up painfully niche hyperfixations and info dump people about it, (comics, anime, gaming) and they would have NO clue what he would be talking about LMFAOO
• does that nervous push glasses thing, how? uses his middle finger to nudge the bridge of his glasses up. he's particularly nervous when you finally speak to him or is around him suddenly.
if you're in a relationship
he's actually ecstatic, finally having you all to himself, that means he could do whatever he wanted right?
he's willing to share and do everything with you, from sharing his clothes, to showering, sleeping in the same bed. all of it.
the type to just touch you all over. hugs and cuddles you, kisses your neck and bites the same spot he touched with his mouth.
only for you to have tons of red bruises littering your skin the next day.
• doesn't let you go until you really beg him to let you go.
"i won't even be that long... seriously." you say, waiting for a response , only for your boyfriend to glare at you albeit a little pouty.
"...f...fuck. you can't just leave me here, i want your attention too."
he nervously plays with the ends of his sleeves, drawing the cloth over his knuckles and fiddling with it.
sometimes you couldn't help but feel bad, even though there was nothing to feel bad about.
"...fine. i'll stay.. okay?" you nod defeated, reaching out for him to hug his head to your tummy.
he immediately reciprocates, pressing his face into your torso and inhaling deep.
-
sometimes in public, he would drag you to a small spot where he swears no one goes to, and just grinds his body over yours, just to get some friction.
making out with you is his favorite activity, besides fucking the shit outta you at home.
he grinds and grabs your everything, hands all over your ass, squeezing as he bites the inner corner of your neck, sucking the skin until he's satisfied with the new colour.
you feel the cool metal of his piercing lave over your hot skin and you whine for him to stick it in you already.
• WOULD make you suck him off under the seat of his desktop space WHILE gaming.
he's so nasty he doesn't even hide it, "hey?! can i get an assist? cmon!" someone online yells into the microphone , he's pretty skilled with using the keyboard with only one hand, so he easily guides your head with his fingers rooted into your scalp and helps bob your mouth just right until he feels his cock twitch, eventually cumming inside and you have to swallow it.
he tries so hard to hide his little huffs of satisfaction, wryly grinning as he sees your cum painted face under the seat.
-
has this 'habit' he's never told you about.
whenever you would sleep before him in your shared bed , he would climb over you and just go to town. removing each layer of your clothes, and leaves you vulnerable in your underwear, spreads your legs open and makes you cum in your sleep.
you involuntary shiver when you feel his tongue lave over your hole, his fingers playing over where you're most sensitive and coat his tongue in your juices.
'how are you not waking up?' a few sleeping pills dumped into your drink earlier must've did the trick. he wouldn't tell you though, or you'll probably, seriously hate him.
and that was the last thing he wanted. besides..he's got you all to himself now!
-
+ note this fanart literally revived the aot fandom idc i had to write something. link to the art! link 2

JEALOUSY☆゜・。。・゜゜・。。・゜★
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
jealous scenarios ft. phainon, anaxa, and mydei!
gen. neutral reader
cw: anaxa is kinda crazy he puts his gun to reader, possessiveness, mentions of violence, fluff, not proofread im so tired :')
☆゜・。。・゜゜・。。・゜★
phainon
phainon was one to pride himself on his natural charm, he was a very easy going guy. the stark contrast between him in battle and off was admirable.
though as much as he hates to admit it, sometimes the warrior takes over his instincts. for instance, right now as he watched the droma’s caretaker openly flirt with you.
it wasn’t just the flirting—though that was annoying enough—it was the way you laughed, the way your eyes softened, the way you didn’t immediately pull away. phainon knew you weren’t his, not in the way that would justify this sudden surge of possessiveness. but logic had never been good at taming instinct.
his fingers twitched at his side, an old habit from years of battle. the part of him that thrived in combat, the part that didn’t hesitate when faced with a challenge, whispered at him to act. it would be so easy to step in, to slide an arm around your waist, to make it clear to everyone in the room—especially to the man standing too close—that you weren’t available.
but that wasn’t his place. not yet, at least. so instead, he forced himself to take a breath, to unclench his fists, to remind himself that he was phainon—charming, laid-back, not the type to pick a fight over something so trivial.
“phainon, this one likes me!”
his stoic expression softened when he realized, in fact, you were talking about the loving dromas and not that man.
phainon smiled gently at your joy, “i can tell, he sure does like you a lot!”
there was a certain edge to his voice that could’ve been missed by onlookers. you gave him a concerned glance, one which he smiled at and didn’t question further.
and yet, when the caretaker let out another laugh, explaining the most basic knowledge of dromas ever, his hand brushing against yours, phainon found himself smiling again. it wasn’t a friendly smile.
“having fun?” he asked, voice smooth but carrying an edge beneath it as he finally approached the two of you.
“yeah—!” you were quick to respond only to look up at phainon and realize his attention wasn’t on you. “phainon..”
“yes my lovely spouse, who i treasure more than any riches and i’d also kill for?” now his attention was focused on you, his smile bittersweet.
the thing with phainon is whenever he looked at you, there was always such intensity.
“don’t start, i’m okay i promise.”
there was a joking tilt to your voice, but it was enough to calm him down.
“now, come over and feed the dromas with me! this one’s name is castor, very sweet we should take him home!”
phainon let out a dramatic sigh, placing a hand over his heart. "my love, as much as i would adore bringing castor home, i fear he would not fit through our door."
you laughed, reaching out to pet the dromas, who nuzzled into your touch affectionately. "we could make it work," you teased, "build a bigger door, you're strong enough. or, you know, just let him live in our backyard."
phainon hummed in thought, stepping closer until he was right beside you. "tempting," he mused, reaching out to pet castor. "but then i’d have to compete for your affection, and i don’t think my heart could take it."
you rolled your eyes, nudging him playfully. "oh, please. you already know you’re my favorite."
his grin softened into something more genuine, his blue eyes filled with something tender. "good. because my dearest, you are mine." phainon swears the dromas narrowed its eyes at him (the caretaker did too but phainon was too busy enjoying the memoment with you to get mad all over again).
you burst into laughter as the dromas let out a soft sound, clearly pleased with itself. "maybe if you were as cute as them, you’d stand a chance."
phainon clutched his chest. "wounded. utterly wounded."
but despite his theatrics, he leaned in closer, his hand brushing against yours as you both continued to feed the dromas together, the warmth between you as steady as ever.
...
"y'know, maybe it wouldn't be such a bad idea to take one home, then we wouldn't have to come back here. i can't believe that vile man had the nerve to even look at you..!"
"phainon, my dear, we are not actually going to take one home."
"...i like the name kevin, wouldn't you agree, [name]?"
the rest of the day was spent with phainon in your ear.
☆゜・。。・゜゜・。。・゜★
anaxa
the carefully crafted lunched in your hands was the least of your worries as a soft click was heard from behind you followed by a pressure being applied to the back of your head.
just to think; you went out of your way to bring lunch to your oh-so-kind boyfriend and this is how he greets you?
you would say you're surprised but... this isn't the first time something like this has happened.
"do tell me, what's the foul mood for now?"
he didn't appreciate the snarky comment as the gun pushed against your head even more.
"my [name], you seemed to enjoy yourself outside with that man. would i be correct to assume so?"
so this is what he's mad about.
you exhaled slowly, resisting the urge to roll your eyes. "if you must know, i was just making conversation. you know, something normal people do?"
the gun pressed harder against your skull in response, the warning clear. anaxa hated being mocked.
"careful," he murmured, voice quieter now, more dangerous. "i'm already being generous by allowing you to explain yourself. do not test my patience."
you tilted your head slightly, just enough to catch a glimpse of him from the corner of your eye. his expression was unreadable, but his grip on the gun was steady—too steady.
"allowing me to explain myself?" you echoed, amusement creeping into your tone. "and here i thought my oh-so-loving boyfriend would trust me a little more by now."
anaxa exhaled sharply through his nose, but he said nothing. the silence stretched between you for a few moments before the pressure at the back of your head finally disappeared.
anaxa let out a low hum, his voice smooth yet laced with something sharp—jealousy, possessiveness, something only he could wield so effortlessly. "you know how i feel about you entertaining the company of other men," he said, tilting his head slightly. "and yet, there you were, laughing as if you had no care in the world."
you sigh, "i promise you it was a very brief interaction. i even told him i was visiting you for lunch."
anaxa looked away in faux annoyance as he gently took the lunch from your hands.
"thank you, [name]." anaxa was genuine in his thanks, he understood how troublesome it could be to reach him in the grove of epiphany.
you rolled your eyes, crossing your arms. "i'd say 'you're welcome,' but i'm not sure you deserve it after that stunt."
he sighed dramatically, setting the lunch down on his desk before taking a seat. his movements were as measured as ever, graceful even in something as simple as this. "you wound me, truly," he drawled, undoing the buttons of his cuffs and rolling his sleeves up. "but i suppose my cruelty knows no bounds, does it? threatening my beloved over something as insignificant as a passing interaction."
"so you admit it was ridiculous?" you quirked a brow, leaning against the edge of his desk.
anaxa leaned back slightly in his chair, watching you with a gaze so heavy it felt like an unseen weight pressing against you. "i admit nothing," he corrected, voice as smooth as ever. "but even the most brilliant minds are prone to… lapses in judgment."
you let out a small scoff, shaking your head. "right. 'lapses in judgment.' is that what we're calling your absurd jealousy now?"
he exhaled through his nose, as if considering your words, before finally opening the meal you had brought him. "call it whatever you like, my dear," he said idly, plucking a piece of food with deliberate ease. "but tell me, if i were to flirt so freely with another, would you be so composed?"
your mouth opened, but the words died on your tongue. anaxa watched your hesitation with something akin to satisfaction, his smirk deepening ever so slightly.
"i thought as much," he said smoothly, taking a slow, deliberate bite of his food. "jealousy, my dear, is a universal affliction. i am simply more… expressive about mine."
you huffed, looking away, but the warmth in your cheeks betrayed you. "you're insufferable and lucky i have the patience for you," you muttered.
he let out a soft chuckle, low and indulgent. "patience," he mused, reaching out to brush a gloved finger against your cheek, slow and deliberate. "such a rare and commendable virtue. though i must wonder..."
his touch trailed lower, tracing the curve of your jaw before finally resting under your chin. with the lightest pressure, he tilted your face ever so slightly upward, forcing you to hold his gaze.
"how much longer will that patience last, i wonder?"
you swallowed, refusing to look away. "depends," you said, barely above a breath. "how many more times do you plan on pulling a gun on me?"
anaxa’s lips curled into the faintest smirk, but his eyes flickered with something softer—something dangerously close to fondness.
"ah," he sighed dramatically, finally releasing you and leaning back into his chair. "a fair question. but, my dear, you wound me. surely you know by now that i only threaten the things i cannot bear to lose?"
you stared at him, feeling both shocked and flustered.
you huffed, shaking your head as you finally relented, letting the conversation settle into something resembling peace. and despite everything—despite his absurd possessiveness, his impossible nature, his maddeningly smug demeanor—you couldn’t bring yourself to pull away.
because somehow, against all logic, against every ounce of reason—anaxa was yours. and that was something even he, with all his sharp words and sharper wit, could never deny.
☆゜・。。・゜゜・。。・゜★
mydei
mydei always found himself in petty competitions with phainon. whether it was who could pick the most apples to who could slay the most enemies, phainon always knew how to push his buttons.
though he might’ve pushed them a little too far..
“afraid you’ll lose? i would’ve never guessed that the great mydeimos was scared of talking to a girl. or are you scared [name] will end up liking me more?”
“deliverer,” mydei said with a scary amount of joy in his voice, “tell me, do you enjoy being humiliated by a kremnoan heir?”
“so is it a deal?”
“if that’s what you wish to call it, we’ll start now. try not to make an utter fool out of yourself. you won't even be able to touch them."
there was absolutely no way mydei was going to even let phainon breathe the same air as you.
phainon grinned, entirely unfazed by mydei’s sharp tone. “oh? possessive already? my, my, what will [name] think of this? surely they've noticed your crush on them by now.”
mydei exhaled through his nose, crossing his arms. “they will think nothing of it because you will not get the opportunity to so much as look at them.”
phainon laughed, tilting his head with an almost lazy confidence. “bold words. i wonder if you’ll still be saying that once they’re hanging off my arm instead.”
the barely restrained fury in mydei’s eyes was almost comical. “you delude yourself.”
“and you’re stalling.” phainon shrugged, already turning on his heel. “come now, mydeimos. unless, of course, you are afraid?”
mydei scoffed, stepping forward with an air of unwavering confidence. “i fear nothing—least of all a fool with an overinflated ego.”
the competition had begun.
mydei was the first to find you. he's always remembered the places you often frequented, the bathhouse being common among them.
mydei found you tucked away in one of the quieter corners of the bathhouse, steam curling through the air in delicate wisps. he approached silently, his footsteps barely making a sound against the stone floor.
he had always been observant—perhaps more than you'd realized. no matter how much time passed, he never forgot the places you sought comfort in.
"i thought i'd find you here," he murmured, his voice low and steady, cutting through the gentle trickle of water. "it's peaceful here," you said softly, returning your gaze to the water, watching a rubber duck float by.
after a long moment, you glanced at him, the tension in your chest easing just a little.
"you always find me."
mydei's crimson eyes softened, a rare hint of fondness breaking through his composed exterior.
"of course," he said quietly. "you're worth finding."
mydei had a huge advantage over phainon; everything that came out of his mouth was genuine.
you felt your body heat amplifying from his intense gaze, the steam from the bath worsening your situation.
the air between you two felt thick with unspoken words, the steam in the room only adding to the intensity. mydei’s crimson eyes were locked onto you with an unwavering focus, as if trying to read something deeper than just your expressions.
“you know, you really don’t make this easy,” you muttered, trying to divert your thoughts, the heat rising in your chest feeling like it might burst through your skin.
he raised an eyebrow, his gaze never leaving yours. "make what easy?"
you shifted uncomfortably, the faintest of blush creeping onto your cheeks. “this... this tension.”
mydei tilted his head slightly, the smallest of smirks tugging at the corner of his mouth. “tension?” he repeated, his voice smooth and calculated. “i’m simply speaking the truth.”
you shot him a glance, his words echoing in your mind. you’re worth finding.
it wasn’t like you hadn’t heard him say such things before, but this time, it felt different. There was no teasing, no veiled sarcasm—just the raw sincerity that mydei rarely offered.
“you never do anything half-heartedly, do you?” you said, a small sigh escaping your lips.
mydei didn’t answer immediately. Instead, he stepped closer, his presence looming like a silent promise. His gaze softened as he spoke, but there was still a quiet intensity behind it.
"only when it’s worth it," he said, his voice almost a whisper, but it still hit you like a wave.
your heart skipped a beat, and for a moment, you forgot how to breathe.
he moment hung between you two, the weight of his words settling deep within you. mydei’s presence was suffocating in the best way—an intensity that seemed to radiate from him, the kind that made it impossible to think of anything else but him.
you opened your mouth, but the words stuck. something about his steady gaze and the closeness between you left you speechless, your heart thudding in your chest.
“mydei…” you whispered, almost as if testing the air, "would you like to join me in the bath? i'm sue it'll help relieve any sores you might have?"
mydei's gaze flickered to you, and for a brief moment, the quiet intensity in his eyes softened, replaced by a curious, almost amused glint. he took a step closer, the space between you two shrinking even more.
“you offer me company in the bath?” he asked, his voice holding a hint of surprise. “how… bold.”
you could hear the teasing undertone in his words, but it wasn’t as biting as usual. there was something more… tender in the way he spoke, something that made your heart flutter despite the calmness of the moment.
“i only thought it might help you relax,” you replied, keeping your tone light, though your pulse quickened slightly under his steady gaze. “and you’re always so tense. even the crown prince needs to rest now and then.”
mydei let out a quiet chuckle at that, the sound warm and soft, like the fleeting warmth of the bath. "i’m afraid i’ve never had much time for relaxation," he murmured, his tone shifting again, darker, but with an edge of something more vulnerable. "but perhaps you’re right. it’s been... a long time since i allowed myself the luxury."
there was a pause, and you could see the weight of his words settle over him, like he’d just made a decision. his eyes softened, and he took another step closer, his fingers brushing against your wrist as he gently took your hand.
"then, i’ll join you. for once, perhaps i could allow myself this."
as mydei settled comfortably next to you in the bath, he couldn't help but wonder where phainon had been all this time.
and there was a small voice in the back of his head, saying 'if phainon found you first, would you have invited him into the bath with you?'
he glanced sideways at you, his gaze unreadable for a brief moment as he tried to suppress the discomfort he felt at the idea.
as he took in your relaxed face, mydei realized how important such moments were to the two of you. this was just the start of many more scenarios he would spend with you.
if you enjoyed please consider following/liking/reblogging :)
i just love the idea of unhinged anaxa

vi x reader !! ─ ㅤ⃘🥊 arcane ໑
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
summary: vi who takes a liking to you. (just a little too much) cw: sfw & nsfw, men & minors dni!! obsessive stalker!vi, sort of clueless!reader, perv!vi, modern au, mentions of alcohol + past abuse (?), service top!vi, sub!r, oral (r!receiving)
Tumblr media
vi, who meets you at some random bar in zaun—vi, who practically saves your life from some old man who couldn’t take a hint. she didn’t care that she just got kicked out of her favorite bar, didn’t care about the bloody sting of her knuckles either. she just wanted to make sure you were okay.
vi, who starts to show up everywhere you do. it’s not like you think much of it, though. she’s sweet—and the part of town you guys live in isn’t that big. she soon became one of your close friends, of course—who wouldn’t wanna be close with someone like her? she’s so sweet and caring, so pretty, so strong—
vi, who is normally such a flirt, always so charming and handsome—yet she’s such a nervous puppy when it comes to you. her face is always flushed a pretty shade of pink as she stumbles over her words (and feet), trying to figure out what makes you laugh.
vi, who shows a little too much concern when you start to feel like you’re being watched, who starts to stay at your house to “protect” you. she sleeps on the couch in your living room, claiming that she doesn’t mind—though her back aches each morning.
vi, who gets a little too drunk at a bar one night, stumbling into your room while you’re sleeping, her mind turned to mush just by the sight of you curled up into a ball under your blankets. so cute, she thinks to herself. just one look won’t hurt—you won’t even realize, you’re so clueless.
and she was right—you don’t even mention the pair of underwear stolen from your laundry basket the next morning.
vi, who holds you while you cry, who comforts you when you say you’re scared. scared of whoever has been following you around for the past few months, scared that they’ll eventually get you. things like this had happened previously—a few years back with a creepy ex girlfriend of yours. you don’t even think about the culprit being vi—no, she’s too nice. she doesn’t have the heart to do that.. right?
vi, who can’t accept the fact that she is a bit perverted—telling herself that each time she shoves her hand down her pants when you leave is just her relieving stress—and not the fact that she’s completely obsessed with you.
infact—right now, she’s sprawled out on the couch, boxers pulled down to her knees as she muffles her whines of your name into a pillow. she thought you had left for work already—but apparently not, because she can hear your soft footsteps in the hallway. shit. shit, shit, shit.
she’s sitting up and pulling her boxers on, wiping her fingers on the couch just as you appear in the living room—greeting you with a warm smile. “uh—morning..” she chuckles nervously, face flushed red as she tried to act like her needy little hole wasn’t dripping just for you.
“morning, violet,” you would yawn, rubbing your eyes before plopping down on the couch, leaning against vi. it was a common thing for you to do, if anything you were almost clingy—always pressed against vi in some type of way when she was near. but right now? you’re sick. it’s just a cold, really—but you’re acting like it’s the end of the world.
vi, who doesn’t mind making you feel better when your sick.
her head is buried between your legs, the bump of her nose nudging against your clit as you tug on her hair, letting out nasally whines. she didn’t know how long she had been at this—but it didn’t matter. you had called into work, and she definitely wasn’t stoping anytime soon.
“shit! vi!—” your thighs clamp around her head, heel digging into her back as you practically use her face to get off, cumming for what, the third time? you had lost count. but god—you tasted heavenly. vi was sure she wasn’t moving. ever. and she definitely couldn’t tell you about the mess in her pants.
vi, who never admits that she was the one stalking you—but that’s fine. she’s not very good at hiding things.

SLYTHERINSLUT0’S KINKTOBER
october 4th — virginity loss / corruption kink.
Tumblr media
PART ONE | kinktober masterlist. | 2024.
pairing: mattheo riddle x berkshires!sister
summary: mattheo’s conscience can only hold him back for so long.
warnings: 18+, hogwarts uni (putting this even tho it’s obvious), jealous mattheo, flirting, tension tension tension, “we can’t do this” type of vibe, “your brother is right over there” type of vibe. bestfriends lil sister trope. part one of two.
Tumblr media
Morality—what is it, really? How is it measured? Is it a linear scale? Could someone be morally sound yet sometimes make an exception when the situation called for it?
Perhaps it's subjective. Anything that falls outside of the law, that is.
Mattheo forced a breath from his lungs, the drink in his hand was tasteless, some watered-down excuse for a cocktail. But that didn't matter, not really—what mattered was the way you kept laughing, the way your hand lingered a second too long on that random bastard's sleeve. The sight made something concerning coil tight in his chest, but he stayed where he was, back against the wall, sucking down drinks like he'd been tasked to it.
God, this was stupid. Morality. Right and wrong. He knew the difference, of course he did. Just because he was a Riddle didn't make him a monster. Not yet, anyway. But that line, the one between you and him—the one drawn so clearly in the sand—was practically mocking him with its absolutes and daring him to cross it. Forbidden, off-limits, the one thing he shouldn't want.
His best friend's little sister. The good girl. A virgin, no less.
"Riddle—you coming?"
Mattheo's head jerked slightly, but his mind was miles away.
He waved a hand. "I'll catch up in a bit.”
Malfoy and Zabini nodded, slipping into the night, leaving him behind in the dim, crowded ballroom. Spring dance. Hours past dusk. He didn't even know why he was still there. Normally, he was long gone before the clock struck twelve, but tonight the room pulsed with bodies and the music hummed under his skin. His drink was half-forgotten in his hand, and his gaze was fixed on a group across the room.
Or, more specifically, on you.
You were standing, black dress to your mid-thighs, half-listening to boys from your year drone on about quidditch tryouts and the usual chatter that filled the space between your breaths. But your eyes—your eyes weren't on them. You were looking at him. A soft smirk tugging at the corners of your lips, like you knew something he didn't.
His heart kicked against his ribs. Where was that line again?
You winked, and he sipped his drink. He'd always said bad decisions made good stories—but even if this (unnameable thing between you) was a story worth telling, the people to hear it would be few.
The tension grew suffocating and he finally looked away. You took that as a win, but you weren't about to let the game end there—not after you noted the tense of his fingers around his cup. You excused yourself from the group, your body moving through the crowd like water, fluid and unhurried, weaving your way toward him.
You knew the line well, the one Mattheo pretended so hard to respect. Restraint wasn't his nature—it never had been, not in the decade you'd watched him take whatever he wanted without a second thought. He wasn't made for holding back, and it showed every now and then—every time his lips crashed against yours in some hidden corner, whispering confessions of how badly he wanted more, how he ached for what he couldn't have.
You loved pushing him to that point. You loved knowing how bad he wanted you. Your brother would lose his mind if he found out. But that didn't matter, not even a little. Not when Mattheo looked at you like that.
"Having fun?" He asked upon your approach, his voice a shade too flat.
"A little." You leaned against the wall beside him, close enough that he could feel the warmth of your skin, your presence seeping into the space between you. "What about you? You seem a bit...tense."
"Tense." The word came out bland, barely audible, and he took a slow sip of his drink, like he needed it just to find his voice. "Why would I be tense?"
You wet your lips, slow, deliberate, studying him with that sidelong glance that made his pulse skip. His jaw tightened, and his eyes—those beautiful, dangerous brown eyes—scanned the room with something too close to desperation.
"Good question." You tilted your head, gaze playful, curious, like you were dissecting him right there in the half-light. "Maybe it's because you've been watching me like a hawk. Like you're waiting for me to do something...wrong."
"Maybe I'm just looking out for you," he muttered, his gaze sliding to your brother across the room, lips locked with some brunette. Mattheo's eyes flickered back to you, just for a moment. "Your brother's a little...busy, after all."
You raised an eyebrow, the corner of your mouth curving into an amused, almost wicked smile. "Ah, so that's it. You're just being my big, overprotective babysitter."
"I don't need to babysit you," he grumbled, though his gaze betrayed him, darting over to the group of boys you'd been talking to. "Just keeping an eye on the company you keep."
It was almost amusing—the way Mattheo stood there, sizing up your guy friends like they were targets in a lineup, probably mentally noting who he'd hit first if any of them dared to step out of line. He was different tonight—and you could have brushed it off, could have let that flicker of vulnerability slide, but that wasn't how this game was played. Not with him. Not with you. There was no room for naivety here.
You turned to face him now, full-on, shoulder resting against the wall as you raised a hand, fingers brushing lightly up his arm.
"Keeping an eye," you repeated as you traced the hard line of his shoulder, then down, lower, over his chest. "Ever my hero, Mattheo Riddle."
When your fingers grazed his abdomen, his breath caught and he grabbed your wrist—hard—the suddenness of it making you gasp. Then, he turned to face you, and his gaze finally met yours—really met yours—for the first time since you'd crossed the room.
"Don't." His voice was low, strained, like he was fighting himself as much as you.
Your eyes widened in mock surprise, that innocent look you'd perfected like a sport. You wore it like a halo you knew you didn't deserve.
"Don't...what?" You damn-well knew what.
His grip tightened, just enough for you to feel the heat of it, pulling you closer, so close you could feel the tension radiating off him. He wet his lips, and you melted—remembering how it felt to kiss them.
"Don't play games with me." He said. "Not tonight."
The warning was clear, but instead of pulling away—heeding his words and letting that heat simmer down—you leaned closer, defying every unspoken rule. The thrill shot up your spine, into your brain, turning everything hazy, electric. You were drunk on it.
"Why not?" Your free hand traced up his other arm and his gaze followed the movement, lips parting ever so slightly. "...afraid you'll lose?"
Before you knew what was happening, he had you spun around—so fast you barely registered the movement before your back hit the cold stone wall. His drink found the table beside him, his focus entirely on you.
"Don't to this to me. Not here," he whispered. "Your brother is right over there."
You glanced toward Enzo, still too preoccupied with the brunette to notice a thing.
"He's a little distracted, don't you think?" Your fingers on your free hand resumed their path, this time up toward his collarbone. But his other hand found them, too. You looked down. Two large hands, wrapped tight around your wrists, like he could stop the fire running through your veins if he just held on hard enough. Your thighs shook. "Gods, you really are tense tonight, aren't you?"
Mattheo's eyes narrowed, two embers gleaming in the night— his lips twitching in a way that made your pulse stutter. There was need in him now, a raw, visceral energy that vibrated between you. Untethered.
He leaned in, closer, his breath brushing against your skin. "You're impossible."
"Impossible..." you echoed, the space between you shrinking with every second. There was no choice in it. It was magnetic, inevitable. He leaned closer, and you—against all reason—matched him, drawn by a force you couldn't name. "Impossible to...resist, Matty?"
Your lips were so close, you could almost taste the flavours lingering on his breath. The heat of him drew you in like gravity, pulling you into that dangerous space where everything blurred—boundaries, rules, reason. His eyes flickered down to your mouth, his tongue darting out to wet his lips in a way that felt instinctive—
And then, the world snapped back.
Cheering—loud, raucous—followed by the sharp crack of glass splintering against the floor. It cut through the moment, pulling you both back to reality. Mattheo's gaze jerked toward the sound, and in an instant he took a step back, his hands releasing your wrists like you'd burned him—like you were the danger here, a fire he'd gotten too close to.
"We can't," he whispered, and it sliced through you. It hit harder than the crash of glass, harder than the noise around you. "You don't want this. I promise you don't."
You stared at him. You knew what he meant, what he was trying to say, the warning etched in every tense line of his body. The two of you had been over this before. You knew Mattheo Riddle was not the man who would love you, not the man who would stay, who you'd call your forever. You weren't that naive. You weren't looking for forever—you just wanted a beginning. A first. A first that would teach you the edge of desire, with someone who knew what to do.
Someone experienced.
"I do," you whispered, barely holding steady under the weight of it all—the realization that you'd almost kissed him, right here, where anyone could've seen, where your brother wasn't far. "More than anything, I do."
His jaw clenched, that flicker in his eyes darkening. He ran a hand through his hair, curls falling messily back into place, his face twisted in thought, already calculating the fallout, already seeing the inevitable consequences.
"Your brother will kill me," he muttered. "He'll kill you."
"He’s not my dad, Mattheo. I’m an adult. He doesn't have to know." The words came out firm, too firm for how fast your heart was beating. You didn't dare move closer, but the tension between you was still electric, still alive. "No one except us."
For a heartbeat, his eyes locked onto yours, and you felt it—that gravity pulling you both back to the brink. It was visible—the weight of his indecision, the way he was measuring the risk, the pull of you against the walls he was trying to keep intact. It'd been months of this. You were relentless. His scowl deepened, but he didn't pull away. He let the silence stretch, your words simmering between you like a match lit, waiting to catch fire.
And then, a nod.
Barely there, just a sharp dip of his head, almost as if he didn't want to acknowledge it himself. You couldn't tell if it was for you, or some silent permission he was giving himself, a final surrender to the pull that neither of you could fight.
"Room of Requirement," he said, vibrating with the tension that still hummed in the air. "Ten minutes."
Your stomach leapt into your throat, every bone in your body suddenly weak. After a moment that felt as though it went on forever, you nodded, and he took another step back.
"Ten minutes." You repeated.
"Ten minutes." He confirmed, before turning and heading out of the ballroom.

Hooking up with coworker!akaashi was not on your schedule but here you both were. You guys ended up in the storage room of the cafe you guys worked at. Boxes and dust filled the room, a rusty light bulb being the only light source.
You’d have to admit, flirting with your coworker wasn’t right. But he was too fucking hot. He was always looming over you, his glasses framing his pretty blue eyes. His black messy hair and deep sultry voice. Always whispering in your ear when you were making drinks.
The sexual tension had always been there.
So really there was no one to blame for the situation you both were in.
With a heated makeout, he had you pressed against the cold wall. One of your legs hitched over his hip as he sheathed himself inside of you. His pace is fast and sloppy. Fucking into you like a dog in heat. You whimper and his big hand slides over your mouth.
“You gotta be quiet pretty.” He groans in your ear, his forehead falling onto your shoulder.
His noises make you shudder, clenching around him. His pace doesn’t let up, how the hell were you supposed to stay quiet when he was filling you up to the brim. Akaashi was huge but on the lengthier side rather than girth.
“S’good Keiji.” You moan against his hand, eyes shutting once he hits that spot again and again.
“Fuck say it again.” He kisses your cheek, leading them all the way to your shoulder until he bites down. An act to muffle his moans when you whimper out his name again.
“M close ‘ji please.” You pant out.
He replaces his hand with his lips. Your moaning into his mouth, your hands tugging at the back of his neck.
“Mmph—gonna cum if you keep doing that.” He hisses, chewing on your bottom lip. You tighten around him and he squeezes his eyes shut.
“F—Fuck cum with me yea? Please?” His plea is guttural and it’s enough for you to break and send you over.
You dig your nails into his biceps, your teeth sinking into his neck. He moans as he fills you up, slowly rutting into you.
You both pant, trying to come down from your highs. He laughs at your dazed state, trying to comb out your hair.
“You did good, just breathe.” He smiles, his voice sounding raspy. He helps you fix your clothes and apron.
“You sure you can walk?” He says it out of concern but you take it as teasing.
“Be quiet.” You pout, he smiles at you.
“Guess you’re gonna have to stick by me for the rest of your shift.”
“You’re always next to me.”
“True.”
When your shift is finished and you walk out to your car you find a note on your windshield.
‘I don’t want this to be a one time thing. Let me take you out:)—Keiji’
You smile at the note, quickly typing his number into your phone.

EX MARKS THE SPOT — THANOS
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing: plug!thanos x male!reader
synopsis: After a messy breakup, you turn to Thanos, a dangerously smooth dealer in a suit, for more than just supplies—and somehow end up making your ex jealous while questioning your life choices (and his cologne).
content warnings: 18+, bottom male reader, drug usage, mentions of alcohol, myung-gi is reader's ex, marijuana, drunk sex, riding, shot-gunning, breeding, creampie, myung-gi is an asshole.
word count: 2.2k
A/N: this is hands down the funniest thing i've ever written lol. enjoy!!
Tumblr media
Texting your ex always felt like poking a bear—pointless, frustrating, and dangerous. Yet, here you were, staring at a string of messages from Myung-gi, your recently demoted ex-boyfriend, as he passive-aggressively reminded you of all the things you’d “lost” when he left.
“Good luck finding anyone who’ll put up with you. Or supply you. 😊”
The nerve. You could practically hear his smug tone through the screen, and it made you want to chuck your phone into the nearest body of water. This man had cheated on you, lied about it, and somehow still had the audacity to act like you were the problem.
You rolled your eyes so hard you swore you saw the back of your skull. Myung-gi might’ve taken his flashy car, his designer cologne, and—worst of all—his “supplier,” but there was no way you’d let him hold your good times hostage.
Still, it was hard not to get irritated. Myung-gi always had a way of making your blood boil while somehow convincing you it was your fault. He was like an evil mastermind but dumber, pettier, and with terrible taste in socks. (Who wears neon argyle with loafers? Seriously.)
You shoved those thoughts aside and scrolled through your contacts. A friend had slipped you a number a few days ago, prefaced with, “This guy’s the best in town. Professional. Discreet. Just… don’t piss him off.” You hadn’t planned on using it, but desperate times called for desperate measures.
You took a deep breath and typed out a message:
You: “Hey. Got your number from a friend. Need to talk.”
The reply came almost instantly, which was mildly unsettling.
Unknown Number: “Come to 10th & Main. 9 PM. Cash only.”
Straight to the point. No pleasantries. Not even a "Hello."
You hesitated for a moment before typing back:
You: “Cool. What’s your name?”
Unknown Number: “Thanos.”
You stared at your screen, blinking slowly. Thanos? Thanos? Like the purple guy from the Avengers? What kind of name was that?  Was this some kind of joke? You half-expected his next message to be something like, “Bring me the Infinity Stones,” or, “I hope you enjoy dust.”
A dozen questions raced through your mind. Should you be scared? Impressed? Concerned he might snap his fingers and wipe out half your neighborhood? You weren’t sure if you were meeting a dealer or the final boss of a video game.
After a long moment of contemplation—and a quick Google search to make sure “Thanos” wasn’t slang for something illegal—you decided to go for it. Worst-case scenario, you’d die in an alley, and Myung-gi would probably gloat at your funeral. Best-case scenario? You’d have a cool story to tell.
With a sigh, you texted back:
You: “Alright. See you then.”
Unknown Number: “Wear something cute.”
Your jaw dropped. Was he… flirting? With you? Oh, this was going to be interesting.
Tumblr media
When you showed up at the alley, you immediately regretted your decision. Thanos was leaning against the wall, his lean frame illuminated by the dim, flickering streetlight. His head gleamed like a polished amethyst, and his piercing gaze locked onto you the moment you stepped into view.
“So,” he said, his deep voice rolling over you like a summer storm. “You’re the newbie.”
You swallowed hard, clutching the cash in your pocket. “Uh, yeah. I guess.”
He pushed off the wall, his towering presence somehow even more overwhelming up close. His suit, far too nice for a back-alley transaction, clung to his broad shoulders like it was tailor-made.
“You guess?” he repeated, tilting his head with an amused smirk. “Pretty boy doesn’t know what he wants?”
Your brain short-circuited for a moment. “I’m here for… you know… the stuff.”
His grin widened, and he handed you a small bag of green nuggets. “Relax, sweetheart. I’m not gonna bite. Unless you want me to.”
Your face flushed, but you tried to play it cool. “Thanks,” you muttered, already turning to leave.
“Hold up,” Thanos called out, stopping you in your tracks. “Do you even know what to do with it?”
You hesitated, clutching the bag like it was a live grenade. “Uh… yeah?”
He raised an eyebrow, clearly unconvinced. “Don’t lie to me, pretty boy. Come on.” He gestured for you to follow him, and before you could protest, he was walking toward a nearby bench under the dim streetlight.
You trailed after him, curiosity outweighing your embarrassment. He sat down, pulling out a rolling tray, papers, and a grinder like he was some kind of cannabis sommelier.
“Watch and learn,” he said, his hands moving with surprising finesse as he broke down the green nuggets and ground them up. He sprinkled the freshly ground product into the paper, rolled it up with precision, and sealed it with a quick lick.
“There,” he said, holding up the perfect joint like it was a masterpiece. “Now you try.”
“I—uh—I don’t know if I can…”
“You can,” he said firmly, pushing the supplies toward you. His large hands hovered near yours as you awkwardly tried to mimic his movements. Your fingers fumbled with the paper, and you could feel his amused gaze on you the whole time.
“Here,” he said, reaching over to guide your hands. His touch was warm, steadying. “Like this. Don’t roll it too tight. You want it to burn evenly.”
You felt your pulse quicken as his fingers brushed against yours. By the time you managed to produce something vaguely resembling a joint, you were red-faced and flustered.
“Not bad for a first-timer,” he said with a chuckle, lighting your creation and taking a slow, deliberate drag before handing it to you. “See? Not so hard.”
You took a hesitant puff, coughing immediately, which earned a laugh from Thanos. “Easy there, sweetheart. No need to impress me.”
As you recovered, he leaned back against the bench, his eyes twinkling with amusement. “You’re cute when you’re trying too hard, you know that?”
You didn’t know how to respond to that, so you just focused on not coughing up a lung.
Thanos grinned, watching you with that same predatory confidence. “Don’t be a stranger, pretty boy. You’re fun.”
Tumblr media
A few days later, you found yourself at a house party you didn’t even want to attend. The music was loud, the drinks were cheap, and the pool in the backyard looked way more inviting than the sweaty chaos inside. You’d planted yourself there, floating in the shallow end with a Bacardi in hand, silently regretting your decision to show up.
And then, of course, he appeared. Myung-gi . Your ex was lounging by the pool with his new girlfriend—a painfully perfect, Instagram-model type who looked like she’d never experienced a bad hair day. He was laughing loudly, probably for your benefit, his arm slung around her like he wanted to rub it in your face.
You downed the rest of your drink in one go and muttered to yourself, “Great. Just great.”
“Trouble in paradise?”
You turned at the sound of the deep, familiar voice, and your jaw almost hit the water. There, standing at the edge of the pool, was Thanos. He looked unfairly good—white button-down shirt with the sleeves rolled up, dark slacks that hugged his thighs in all the right ways, and that same smirk that made you question all your life choices.
“What are you doing here?” you asked, your voice coming out more surprised than accusatory.
He crouched down, his golden watch glinting in the moonlight. “Got invited. Seems I’m more popular than I thought. But seeing you here? That’s a bonus.”
Your face heated, and you quickly looked away. “Well, enjoy the party.”
“Not until you stop sulking.” His gaze flicked to Myung-gi and back to you. “Ah. That explains it.”
“Explains what?”
“You’re sitting here like a kicked puppy because of him.” He gestured toward your ex with a tilt of his head. “Pathetic, honestly.”
You bristled. “I am not sulking.”
“Sure you’re not.” Thanos chuckled, then slid off his shoes and rolled up his pants, stepping into the pool like he owned the place. The water rippled as he waded closer, stopping just a foot away. “Wanna make him jealous?”
You blinked. “What?”
“You heard me.” He leaned in slightly, his smirk downright devilish. “We could give him a little show. Something to really stew over.”
Your heart raced. “You’re kidding.”
“Do I look like I’m kidding?” He cocked an eyebrow, his eyes gleaming with mischief.
You glanced over at Myung-gi . He wasn’t looking now, but the idea of wiping that smug grin off his face was very appealing. You turned back to Thanos, who was watching you with an expectant look, and something in his confidence made you throw caution to the wind.
“Fine,” you said, your voice steady despite the flutter in your chest. “Let’s do it.”
His grin widened. “Atta boy.”
Before you could second-guess yourself, Thanos closed the distance between you, one hand cupping the back of your neck as his lips met yours. The kiss was anything but subtle—his mouth moved against yours with a ferocity that left you breathless, his other hand gripping your waist as if to anchor you to him.
The water lapped around you, the sounds of the party fading into the background as you lost yourself in the moment. His lips were soft but commanding, his teeth grazing your bottom lip just enough to make you gasp.
You vaguely heard the sound of spluttering from the side of the pool, and when you opened your eyes, you saw Myung-gi standing there, his face a mixture of shock and rage.
Thanos pulled back just enough to speak, his lips brushing against yours as he murmured, “Think he’s mad yet?”
You glanced at Myung-gi , who looked like he was about to explode, and couldn’t help but laugh. “Oh, he’s pissed.”
“Good.” Thanos grinned, pressing another kiss to your lips, this one slower, almost teasing. “Serves him right.”
By the time you finally broke apart, Myung-gi had stormed off, dragging his bewildered girlfriend behind him like a kid throwing a tantrum in a grocery store. You barely noticed, too caught up in the heat of the moment and the rush of adrenaline coursing through you.
Thanos leaned in close, his breath warm against your ear as he murmured, “You’re welcome.”
“For what?” you managed to ask, your voice a little shaky as you tried to play it cool.
“For reminding him that he downgraded,” Thanos replied with a smirk, his thumb brushing a stray drop of water from your jaw.
You let out a breathy laugh, shaking your head. “You’re so full of yourself.”
He tilted his head, his piercing gaze making your pulse quicken. “And yet, you’re still here.”
Before you could come up with a witty retort, he reached out and took your hand, pulling you out of the pool with an effortless strength that left you momentarily flustered.
“Come on,” he said, his voice dropping an octave, rich and enticing. “Let’s find somewhere quieter.”
You hesitated for half a second before nodding, letting him lead you away from the crowd and the noise of the party. Your heart pounded as he guided you down a dimly lit hallway, past closed doors and muffled laughter, until he pushed one open and gestured for you to step inside.
The room was cozy and dim, the faint scent of lavender lingering in the air. As the door clicked shut behind you, the weight of the moment settled over you, thick and electric. Thanos leaned back against the door, his smirk softening into something more genuine.
“You good?” he asked, his deep voice cutting through the silence.
You nodded, your breath hitching slightly. “Yeah.”
He stepped closer, his presence overwhelming in the best way possible, and as his lips found yours again, all thoughts of Myung-gi —or anyone else—faded away.
Tumblr media
You didn’t know how you ended up in this position. Or maybe you wanted it to happen. The booze and the weed had certainly gotten to your head.
Thanos was puffing on a blunt while you rode him, bouncing up and down on his cock with fervour.
“That’s it my boy…Taking it like a champ,” he mutters, the praise going straight down to your dick.
The hand that wasn’t holding the blunt was wrapped around your waist, guiding your hips on his length. He slowly took in a slow drag of his blunt while locking eyes with you, his dark orbs stained with red from all the substance. It certainly was a sight to see.
He pressed his mouth to yours, shot-gunning the smoke straight to your throat as you inhaled. You had gotten slightly better with the weed by now, so thankfully, you didn’t start coughing all over the place.
Your pace on his dick slowly sped up, you were at the brink of an orgasm. “Fuck… cum for me baby,” Thanos groans as his grip on your waist tightens. He takes another long drag of his blunt, before handing it to you.
You feel the scent of the herb hitting the back of your throat, and with that, you climax all over the purple-haired man’s stomach with your eyes rolling to the back of your head. Thanos releases soon after, painting your insides white.
You bask in the after-glow of mind blowing sex, lazily leaning forward on Thanos’ shoulder. The click of the doorknob alerts the man, who looks at a fuming Myung-gi and his still-confused girlfriend (the poor thing).
“Rise and shine my boy, I think we have an audience~”

he is no stranger to the weight that rests so heavily upon his tongue, the way it does, the way it always has when faced with honesty that he has all but forgotten over the years, emotions laid bare in the space between them and for a moment does it feel as though he can taste such words through a lens of bittersweet, a lens of something soft in which he's uncertain either one of them can put a name to, and he attempts to swallow the sort of reluctance that comes from it as quick as it is to bloom ━━ not because he actually needs to, really, given the extent in which ukyo's words prove just how much he knows him, the typical reactions guessed before he allows them to permit, something beyond the way his posture remains frozen and the curve of his lips part if only slight, not unlike someone who may be reprimanded for catching flies. and it certainly feels as though he should think he has, that despite the word of god he's bloomed feelings for someone who's fate feels something short of doomed, of disaster, and he should equate such knowledge to flowers that rest in his lungs, petals curling up in the base of his throat and he can't think as to what remains worse, which part of it digs harder against the the crack in his heart once made of stone: the fact he is so honest in his admission that he does not belong or the reality that something about it makes sense to the man who he urges it before, despite how earnestly he disagrees.
there's something heavy pressed against the crux of his spine, burdens that are not his own etched into every crevice of his ribcage and yet it's ukyo's words that make them feel both lighter and yet heavier, a concept to keep in mind and yet a grief unspooling with every plea; ' i can't force you to love yourself. but i can hold the you that i'm familiar with close to my own heart ' and a part of him can tell that it's alright, or so he believes, privy to the consequence that such action brings, the swell of the unknown within his chest that falls somewhere between yearning and the dangerous impracticality that comes with love, the bout of confidence he has claimed to have but buried with every opportunity to give. if it were for anyone else, he supposes a part of him would consider this stupid, foolish, naive, but towards ukyo do all his barriers find a way to relent so strikingly, so openly; ikki's smile finds itself unrelenting, now pulled back away into his own space as he raises a brow in what may be offered as consideration, as reflection.
he wonders if ukyo will spot that confliction too.
❛ you say this so assuredly,  ❜ he says uncharacteristically quietly, the sigh that spills past his lips not out of guilt but his own unspoken admittance. ❛ so ... wholeheartedly to the point that even disagreeing with you feels like a crime. ❜ or even thinking against it, for that matter, common thoughts and considerations offering forgiveness to only those who are not himself feeling like something offensive; it's not your fault mutters a rabbit to the fox / but even they never had bad intentions mutters a rabbit to every bleeding laceration within it's chest. ❛ but i've never been a fan of the 'cruel to be kind' approach. the parts of 'me' i have lost along the way are simply a matter of consequence. i struggle to consider how i could work things out myself in order to get them, to get another part of myself back after i have so willingly given it away. ❜ and it's the honesty that stings here, not quite making himself smaller as compared to more exposed; there is a familiarity in curling in on one's self, to making you more docile; the fear clings to his second skin, and yet ...
Tumblr media
❛ there's no denying the you who makes all of these things feel possible.  ❜ smile grows, followed undeniably by a sigh that sounds both exasperated as it is serene; he speaks in riddles that are supposed to sound frustrated and yet placating but he's certain that ukyo understands the earnestness that hides behind them, the truth to the admissions he speaks ━━ after all, he's taken note of every flicker of his expression, joy to soft to flustered through a few key moments. ❛ i struggle to see the future, the outcome, of my choices and yet you talk as if you've lived through them all, as if you've had the chance to experience it plenty of times before. it feels as if you talk in nothing more than a contradiction, but i ... i can't believe it as the reason for why you say it.  ❜ one day, you won't even be a passing thought in their minds when they fall in love for real / i'll always be waiting for the ikki who exists underneath the mask you wear ... and oh, doesn't that sound like a confession? like an admission of love, in his very own terms?
❛ if you are not supposed to exist in this world, then it is the place you have carved in my heart in which you belong. or, god forbid, neither were supposed to exist at all.  ❜ and what a sentence, a confession born from honesty / what a sentence, love if offered from something that actually feels as though it belongs to him and how ironic is it for a sense of guilt to bury it's way down further in his chest with every fraction in the knowledge that ukyo is right, but then again, how can he offer anything but what they ask for when the burden lies with his own? to be kind, is now the next consideration; to be kind, and that's why he can't help but laugh and so does ukyo laugh despite the way they're both glancing back at the camera with the desire to shut it off or pull it closer, more intimate as two men above their universe's greatest mistakes; existences paramount and here.
━━ they're privy to live beyond a sense of deja vu, aren't they?
so he is the one who has the decency to look sheepish, gaze almost transfixed on the way ukyo's fingers press so earnestly against his cheek as he runs his own down both the back and sides of his neck, doing his best to ignore the way the flush on his face no doubt matches, if not follows, the shade across the photographers own whilst he settles with the realisations that he has known this whole time. a trailed off sound, a blink; he should take this moment for some silence, for a respite. but ukyo shared a lot with him, didn't he?
❛ for a heart to ache, for it to break ... they're supposed to be two different things, offered for different reasons.  ❜ and it makes sense, the sensation that rattles across his chest something that should be associated with the negatives and yet it's a wish to yearn that he recognises in his place. at least in ukyos presence it's tangible, it makes sense. the quiet wish to experience it in a different way replaced by one that seeks out more, to hear it repeat itself, time and time again / in dream and memory alike. and it's romantic, isn't it? how out of every date, every high end restaurant and popular haunt, it's his man and the fields he'd dared join on a whim that has him discovering the truth behind it all but even if he had a chance to do over he's uncertain he would manage to make a change. ❛ there are plenty of mistakes i have made in my life, and there will no doubt be many more ... i am not a man without imperfections, as we both know well.  ❜ he should be more serious about it, he knows, but he can't help it; a sprinkle of another chuckle there, easing the stiffness of his bones.
❛ but you are who i would refuse to do wrong, the one who i would be desperate to make things right should i find out that i did.  ❜ his eyes seek ukyo's out once more, an attempt of reassurance not by words than from within his expression, the only weapon he knows how to expose so wholeheartedly. he has no use to will his powers before ukyo, no matter how much a cowardly part of him may pretend it wishes so. nothing about this speech is the word of god, the trickery of mankind. just ikki and ukyo amidst a world that does nothing more than forsake them. ❛ you may have experienced that heartbreak, that sort of character decision before, but is it too bold of me to claim that it's over? for you, i am prepared to place my own in your open palms. would do so, if for a fraction longer in your presence, to allow myself face to face with this smile ... if you permit me the honour, that is.  ❜
Tumblr media
oh ... if only they knew. the people he calls his friends are made privy to so little of his own suffering, if any of it - kept tight-lipped 'neath the secretive, tenderhearted persona of the man who frequented their cafe. it's his own fault. even with countless reassurances just like this ... he'd never burden them with the truth.
" ... my heart has been broken more than most." and his smile doesn't falter, despite admitting that. there's always a profound sadness in the way he holds himself, like he's constantly on the verge of tears. hera always calls him a crybaby, when she teases him at the back of the cafe - frequently misty-eyed over this and that ... his emotions do bleed, a little too easily. "but that's the thing about heartbreak, ikki. it's an integral human experience. the heart is stronger than you give it credit for. no matter how many pieces it shatters into, it'll always mend. maybe slowly, maybe not. everyone is different. no heart stays broken forever, though. no woman is going to lay there crying over you for the rest of her life, because no curse from the gods is strong enough to prevent true love. in the grand scheme of things, you just aren't that important to them. one day, you won't even be a passing thought in their minds when they fall in love for real, marry, pursue their dreams. the only one waiting around refusing to mend their heartbreak will be you, holding on to the memories of phantoms who don't even remember your name."
... is that cruel? it's not ... meant to be. the way he says it speaks more towards an undeniable fondness of the man, rather than vitriol for how he responds. it's defense, guilt, and he knows that. he doesn't enjoy seeing him alone in his suffering. as the camera is left temporarily forgotten, he looks over at him and judges his expression. even now, ikki speaks such kindnesses towards him : a man whose own heart was broken by the heavens, and abandoned by the world. they have a lot in common, ukyo thinks. it's just that ikki doesn't cry openly, like he does.
Tumblr media
"giving them false hope isn't kind. the happy moments you spare them turn to painful memories, once they realize they don't mean anything to you ... and all you do is hold those women and yourself hostage from finding someone who truly loves you, who you are that important to. you have no right to their hearts ... and they don't have a right to yours. but that's ... something you have to come to terms with on your own. i can't force you to love yourself. but i can hold the you that i'm familiar with close to my own heart, hoping that it's enough to ease your loneliness. even if you don't believe you deserve grace ... i'll always be waiting for the ikki who exists underneath the mask you wear. he's my favorite version of you, cursed eyes, aching heart, and all." for what little he's ever gotten to see him in stolen glances or lost days.
he's thankful for the cold flash of camera clicks, when he doesn't really know what to say in the interim of his racing thoughts. it's easier to pose for a moment in time and pretend that he isn't a blemish walking on this earth, a stain upon god's beautiful creation that shouldn't exist - but it's these feelings, he knows, that allow him to understand the perpetual heartbreak of similar anomalies such as ikki. and just because living hurts ... doesn't mean that the way he smiles is a lie, soft even at the his most emotional moments. the truth is that he is always honest, most of all when it comes to his feelings. maybe a little too much. this man puts him at ease, for better or worse, and that translates, he's sure, in the photo they take - any of the photos they will take, from this point forward. the way he holds ikki's hand is a comfort, and it does not go unnoticed to him that he holds it back.
it occurs to him he may be pining, in a way that's quite noticeable. he's searching for far more vulnerable a man than ikki has ever publicly made known - at least, not very often. these are intimacies he shouldn't be privy to about him, unless the two of them were exceedingly close. he can't remember anymore, what his friends recall confiding in him and what they do not ... but he yearns, still, for deeper connections he has lost to death upon death upon death upon death upon death - ...
"mm ... and, well, see? it's saying things like that which make my own heart ache," his smile is a more cautious one, but he's teasing just a little bit. much as this world denies him ... he doesn't want to believe he can't stay in it, with all his friends. or just with him, in this moment. "i think ... i'm someone who isn't supposed to exist. i don't know if the gods hate me, but i think the world does. even still ... if i can wake up every day and fight for just one more day i'm here, i think you, too, should be allowed to find what it means to fall in love with someone who sees you, who you genuinely want to be with. all i've ever wanted was to play witness to the beauty in this life, and i think that includes you. if my existence is without burden to you, then your heart is without burden to me. do you ... understand?"
he's not entirely certain to what he's confessing, truth be told. but it must be something sweet, how his chest aches with adoration rather than grief. both of them seem to think little of themselves in ways that will not be fixed overnight - but how could he ever hate himself entirely, when someone like ikki professed to have such fondness for him - ? he must be doing something right, living against destiny, to have someone so special think so highly of him.
he'd have lost count anyways, of the quiet camera shutters taken in tight interval - but he is unprepared, still, for the question he has little time to answer ... 'til ikki has leaned in already to press kiss 'pon his cheek, and he is left stunned quiet, with a pleasantly dazed expression and slightly parted lips. he stares past him, in a way, but his heart thrums rather loudly ... enough to make him afraid it'd be heard, when he notices he'd stopped breathing. silly, that. but could he really blame him ... ! it would make for ... a romantic photo, most likely. it doesn't occur to him, how hot his face feels when ikki pulls away.
" i - " he's flustered! he can barely bring himself to meet the man's gaze again, but he does. what little good it serves. he certainly doesn't look any braver ... he only lets go of his hand for cause of brushing his fingertips along his own cheek where ikki's lips must have pressed, still warm with the ghost of that sensation. he kissed him ... ? "i'm ... not. sorry, i mean." he might really cry - ! he laughs, bashful, and suddenly all too eager to trip over himself to get back to the camera and pause whatever shots it's still on the timer for. "no ... that's okay. i meant what i said." he glances up at him over the camera, voice hoarse with his own emotions, "you know, i think out of everyone in this world, it's you i trust not to break my heart the most."

The Wrong Number
Tumblr media
Kyle grins as he snaps a post-workout selfie, quickly sending it to the chick he met at the bar the night prior. His grin widens as he sits naked on his bed, thinking about her. He could still feel her lips against his, the way her hands roamed his body. He could still hear her moans. And as his thoughts continue, he absentmindedly strokes his hardening dick.
“Fuck...” He mumbles.
Probably one of the best hook-ups he had in a long-time. And he couldn’t wait for part two.
“Hey babe, you around tonight? Ready for round 2?”
He stares at his phone, awaiting Stacy’s... no Brittany’s... no... He chuckles as he realizes he doesn’t even remember her name. But did it matter? He’d make an effort to learn it tonight- he wasn’t the least bit concerned she would turn him down. Especially with that selfie he sent. His muscles bulging, dusted perfectly with manly hairs. Yeah- totally irresistible.
“Come on.” He whispers as he sees she’s writing a response.
His heart sinks when he receives her response- a selfie. And it is not a selfie of the blond, double-D, bombshell he bagged last night. No, this was a dude. A buff, cocky dude. Kyle feels his dick soften as his own cocky grin shifts to a frown.
Tumblr media
“Hey there cutie.” The message underneath the selfie reads.
“Sorry, wrong number.” Kyle replies quickly.
A fake number? Really? Kyle felt pissed. Did she really give him a fake number? And who the fuck was this guy? And why did he call him ‘cutie’? Kyle groans as he realizes he wouldn’t be seeing her again. Her loss, he figured. The young man started to stand up, but his phone buzzed again. It was that guy.
“Come on, don’t be like that.”
“Lol, sorry bro. Chick gave me the wrong number.” Kyle replies, “Women, right? Lol.”
Based on the selfie, Kyle figured the guy frequented the gym. Maybe they’d have some stuff in common. And part of Kyle felt maybe he could commiserate with a fellow bro. But his thoughts slow as he stares at the pic. Drinking in each detail and contour of the man’s body. The guy’s massive, juicy pecs taking up most of the selfie. And Kyle absentmindedly wonders what they feel like. And as he scratches his chest, he does not register his chest hairs falling away, leaving him cleanshaven and smooth.
“Wouldn’t know, cutie.” The man replies, “Thought you’d know that after last night lol.”
Kyle raises an eyebrow- his thoughts speeding back up. What did this guy... ohhhhhh... Now he knew. Kyle feels rage build up at the realization. Was this guy flirting with him? First he gets a wrong number, now some gay guy is trying to make a move? Just his luck...
“Don’t swing that way, bro.” Kyle replies.
Kyle went to block the number, but something causes him to stop. What did the guy mean ‘after last night?’ Kyle knew he hooked up with a chick. And two, Kyle wasn’t gay. He’d never... Kyle shifts uncomfortably as his his wide frame and proud muscles begin to decay. The increasingly slender young man barely registering his shifting frame.
“You sure? Could’ve fooled me.”
Kyle bit his lip, “What’re you talking about?” He types with his increasingly more dainty and feminine hands. His thick callouses from his workouts smoothing over and becoming soft.
“Did I fuck your brains out or something, cutie?”
Kyle shifts uncomfortably as his ass swells, filling with squeezable fat. An ass no gay man would be able to resist.
“OMG please stop.” Kyle texts back, “Like, I don’t even know who you are.” He stares at the messages he just sent, part of him registering that something was off with his word choices.
“What about now?”
Tumblr media
Kyle gasped at the selfie the man set. His perfectly chiseled muscles and exposed pits causing him to blush. A thought crosses his mind- he would want nothing more than to be laying on that man’s chest. To thrust his nose into those dark, musky forests. And as he thinks of more things he’d want this man to do to him, he strokes his dick. Up and down, up and down. Not even registering that his prided manhood was getting smaller. And smaller. And smaller yet. Settling on a measly three inches hard.
“Like, no... something’s like totes...”
Kyle moans as the pleasure from stroking his dick suddenly intensifies tenfold. And then begins to dwindle, only to return. But he realizes it’s no longer his dick that brings him pleasure. No, it’s his ass. His hole clenching desperately for something to fill it. His mind racing with the new realization that he desperately needs his prostate stimulated.
“Need another reminder?”
Kyle can barely contain the feminine moan that escapes him as he gazes upon a dick pic from the stranger. And as he stares at it, licking his increasingly puffier lips, he realizes he needs it. And he needs it now. In his mouth, in his ass- anywhere. As long as it was inside him.
“Please daddy, I need it.” Kyle quickly texts back, sending a selfie of his own.
Tumblr media
“Good boy. See ya soon slut.”
Kyle moans again, as his ass pulses with pleasure. The anticipation clouding his mind, his thoughts slowing. But as he stares at his new selfie, he can’t help but feel that this is wrong. That he wasn’t some smooth, bubble-butt, horny twink desperate for a quick fuck. No... he was... he was... A giggle escapes his increasingly puffy lips and he stands up. His ass sticks out as he saunters over to the mirror. Drinking in his new look. Loving his thicc ass, his small cock, and lean figure. His mind filling with all the knowledge he would need to please any man and a desire to do just that.
“Mmmmm daddy...” He moans, as he squeezes his own ass. His voice sultry and high-pitched.
It’s only a few minutes later until there’s a knock on his door. And the young twink saunters over, opening to reveal the man he had been texting with. Only a few minutes later, his nose is buried in the man’s musky pits. His memories of the girl yesterday vanishing from his mind. And as he deep throats the man’s dick, any interest he may have had in growing his muscles vanishes. It’s only when he’s thrown onto the bed, his ass up in the air, does Kyle panic. A sense of dread filling his psyche. Images of the man he was- his memories- filling his mind. But it all comes to a screeching halt as he feels his partner’s dick enter him. And with each thrust and feminine moan that leaves Kyle’s lips, more of these memories vanish.
Its only a few minutes later that the man leaves. Kyle is still lying in bed, cum leaking from his needy hole. His mind in shambles. But as the post-orgasm bliss fades, Kyle can feel the desire for round two start to grow. And with an ass like that, Kyle wouldn’t be waiting for long.

ARREST ME BUT MAKE IT SEXY2 / S.REID / SUMMARY - Spencer rescues a very annoying agent
PAIRING: agent!reader x spencer reid / w/c: 1.4k / fluff
a/n: shoutout to @cheriesbucky for being the absolute ANGEL who suggested this
Tumblr media
The basement was dim, damp, and reeked of mold and motor oil. The ropes around your wrists were tight but not impossible—you’d been trained for worse. Still, that didn’t mean you weren’t pissed.
“What is it with unsubs and bad lighting?” you muttered, shifting in the old wooden chair you were tied to. “What, the budget didn’t cover lightbulbs?”
Across the room, your kidnapper paced. He wasn’t particularly bright, though he thought he was. That was always the worst kind—delusional with a God complex and a knife.
“I thought you fed types were supposed to be smart,” he sneered, stopping just a few feet from you.
You raised a brow. “I am. You, however, kidnapped a federal agent in the middle of a BAU investigation. Not really a Mensa moment.”
He didn’t like that. Predictably, he stormed over and gripped the collar of your button-down shirt, yanking it hard enough to pop two buttons free. His hand hovered, threatening, over your chest.
You blinked once. “Oh wow, you’re so original. What’s next, a villain monologue? Maybe some unnecessary backstory about your mommy issues?”
The unsub froze.
Then scowled.
Then stepped back with a growl. “You don’t know anything.”
You smiled sweetly. “Honey, I know you have abandonment issues, a need for control, and a probable inferiority complex stemming from a middle-child dynamic. Also, you smell like Axe body spray and microwaveable regret.”
Another button popped off.
You gasped. “Sir, if you ruin this shirt, you’re paying for it. This is government issued polyester. You have no idea how itchy this is.”
The door upstairs creaked open.
You went silent.
Heavy boot steps followed.
And then—
“FBI!” Morgan’s voice rang out.
The unsub spun, panicked. You smirked.
“You’re in so much trouble,” you sing-songed.
The door burst open a second later, and suddenly the room was swarmed. Morgan tackled the unsub to the ground in one fluid motion. Hotch shouted for backup. Emily kicked the knife away. And then—then—Spencer.
He moved straight to you, eyes scanning your face, chest heaving like he’d just run a marathon. His hands shook as he began untying your wrists.
“Are you okay?” he asked, his voice tight with concern.
You gave him a tired smile. “Other than the fact that I’m missing three buttons and I’m pretty sure this chair gave me a splinter in a very personal place? Peachy.”
He let out a soft huff of laughter, his fingers brushing over your skin a little longer than necessary as he helped you stand.
You wobbled slightly. He caught you instantly.
“Easy,” he murmured, his hand steady on your waist.
“Oh, Doctor Reid,” you said, blinking up at him dramatically. “Are you trying to sweep me off my feet?”
The tips of his ears turned pink.
“Stop flirting,” Emily called as she cuffed the unsub.
“I’m barely flirting,” you replied, leaning a little more into Spencer just to be a menace. “Let the woman have her trauma bonding.”
Hotch sighed from somewhere near the doorway. “Let’s get her out of here before she drives us all insane.”
Spencer’s arm stayed around you even as he walked you out. The sunlight hit your face, and you winced, then immediately leaned into him again. Maybe you didn’t need the support, but you sure as hell weren’t going to waste the moment.
“So,” you said softly, “you missed me?”
He chuckled. “You were gone for three hours.”
You smiled. “Admit it. That was the worst three hours of your life.”
He didn’t answer right away. Just tightened his hold a little, letting it speak for him.
Yeah. You were definitely going to milk this for all it was worth. Especially when he insisted you stay with him that night.
Spencer’s apartment was… exactly what you expected. Books lined every wall. Some were stacked in leaning towers like paper skyscrapers. A chessboard sat mid-game near the window. The place was warm, in that “lives alone but makes tea for two” kind of way.
You flopped onto his couch with zero hesitation, legs kicking up as you groaned dramatically. “If I never see rope again, it’ll be too soon.”
Spencer hovered awkwardly by the door, keys still in hand, like he wasn’t quite sure what to do with you now that he had you.
“Are you… okay?” he asked finally, stepping closer.
You looked over your shoulder at him, feigning offense. “Reid. I was kidnapped, threatened, manhandled—and you’re asking if I’m okay? After you made me sleep on this crime-against-furniture of a couch instead of your bed?”
His eyes went wide. “Wait—I didn’t make you sleep here. You didn’t even ask to—”
You burst into a laugh. “Relax, Doctor. I’m teasing. Unless you’re offering.”
His ears turned pink again. You were starting to consider it a competitive sport.
“You should eat something,” he said quickly, trying to change the subject. “I have, um… crackers?”
You raised a brow. “Crackers? Wow, what a luxurious meal. Do you woo all your guests like this?”
He rubbed the back of his neck. “I wasn’t expecting guests.”
You smiled and sat up. “I’ll allow it. But only because you have very charming bookshelves.”
He gestured toward the kitchen. “Seriously, though. Want tea?”
You nodded, stretching. “As long as I don’t have to brew it myself. I’ve been through enough.”
He disappeared into the kitchen, and for a moment, you let yourself actually relax. The adrenaline was gone. The aches were settling in. And beneath it all was that heavy, quiet awareness: you could’ve died today.
Spencer returned a few minutes later with two mismatched mugs. He handed you one and sat beside you—not too close, but not far, either. He smelled like books and peppermint and something just… safe.
You sipped. “Mint chamomile? What a romantic.”
He smiled softly, eyes flicking toward yours. “You’re handling this well.”
You looked at him over the rim of your mug. “You say that like you expected me to fall apart.”
“I didn’t,” he said quickly. “I just mean… most people would still be shaken up. But you’re still making jokes.”
You set the mug down and leaned in a little. “Wanna know a secret?”
He sighed and gave an expression that read, “hit me, what is it this time.”
You lowered your voice. “I make jokes when I’m terrified.”
His brow furrowed, just a little. “So… you were scared?”
You paused, then nodded. “Of course I was. But I knew you guys would come for me. Knew you would.”
He blinked, caught off guard. “Me?”
“You didn’t exactly hide your interest in the interrogation room, genius,” you teased. “And I might’ve been unconscious when you found me, but I remember your voice. First thing I heard when I came to. Sounded really… relieved.”
A flush crept up his neck. “I was.”
Something shifted then—just a little. The air between you slowed, softened. He looked at you like you were a riddle he was afraid to solve. You looked back like you wanted to be figured out.
“Spencer,” you said softly, “can I ask you something?”
“Anything.”
“Are you always this gentle with people?” Your voice was quieter now. Less performative. “Or is it just me?”
His breath caught.
Then, just as quietly, he said, “It’s not just you.”
A beat.
“But it’s different with you.”
Your heart did a slow, dangerous turn.
Before either of you could say more, a roll of thunder cracked outside. Rain began tapping the windows like fingers on glass.
You sighed dramatically. “Well, now you have to let me stay the night. What kind of profiler kicks a traumatized woman out into a thunderstorm?”
He laughed under his breath. “You can stay as long as you want.”
You smiled. “Dangerous words, Reid. I might never leave.”
And for the first time since the kidnapping, something in your chest unclenched. Not just because you were safe, but because… maybe you were exactly where you needed to be.

You had gone to the Mostro Lounge, as you do from time to time with Grim, Ace and Deuce for a snack. When Jade comes to your table to take your orders, he informs you that he has prepared a new dessert and would love for you all to try it and tell him what you think.
“Myaah yeah, I'll take any-” Grim starts to say excitedly, until he remembers who he's talking to. “Wait... what do you want?”
“Me? I would just like to know if this new dessert I made has a pleasant taste. And who better than some of our best customers to tell me?” He smiles and proceeds to describe something you would absolutely love to eat.
“Funny, that really sounds like (Y/N)'s favorite desserts. ” Deuce says.
“Truly? What a coincidence.”
“Which I'm sure it isn't.” Ace adds. “Come on Jade, tell us what you really want in return. We might even consider it.”
“Very well.” he smiled amusedly. “It would cost you 17 thaumark each.” Everyone is shocked by that price for a small dessert. “However, I have another proposal.” you see his sharp teeth through the smile for a second. “I believe you know that I am a member of the Mountain Lover Club. This weekend, I'm planning on waking up before dawn to head to the mountains so I can see a flower that only blooms in the early hours of the day.” He looks at you. “And they are such charming flowers that I would love to share this experience with... someone. Perhaps (Y/N)?” If you accept, I can give you all a discount and the dessert will only be 8 thaumark.”
“Did you really need to do all this ruse?” Grim asks annoyed. “Why don't you just ask (Y/N) out?”
“Because that wouldn't be as thrilling, would it? Fu fu.”
“My wallet doesn't need any thrilling, thank you very much.” Ace comments. “And 8 still seems a little pricey for this type of dessert.” he tries to haggle.
“Five each if you let (Y/N) come alone with me.”
They looked at each other as if they were between a rock and a hard place.
“Deal!” You say. After all, you also have a crush on Jade.
Jade laughs seeing your friends' worried faces.
“There's nothing to worry about, gentlemen. I will make sure (Y/N) gets home safe and on time. We can even bring you souvenirs if you’d like. I would be happy to share the wonders of the mountains with all of you as well.”
~
He could have promised to keep you safe and sound on the mountain, but unfortunately, he couldn't do anything, nor was he prepared for something to happen to you before the hike. In one of your Physical Education classes you ended up twisting your ankle and it wouldn't heal in time for the day of the hike. You were in the infirmary when Jade came to check on you.
“(Y/N), I heard about your accident in Professor Vargas' class.” Jade tells you with pity, or at least it seems like it. It's hard to know when it's genuine concern. “But may I confirm with you that it was indeed just an accident?”
You confirm that it was just your foot that slipped, a little confused by that question.
“Very well. Don't worry, I believe in you. But you know that if there is a classmate who is less... pleasant with you, you can tell me.” He says with a sweet smile before forming his toothy little grin. “I can have a reasonable little conversation with them.”
You assure him that it wasn't any other student's fault that made you end up like this. At worst, it was Grim's mischief to blame. Jade chuckles.
“But it was quite unfortunate that it happened right before our hike in the mountain. However, I thought of a way for you to be able to accompany me, if you still wish to do so.”
~
On the day of the hike, or rather, that night before dawn, Jade appeared at Ramshackle Dorm door and sent you a message asking if you were ready. He asked for permission to enter the dormitory and go to your room and when he arrived he had with him a flying broom with a special cushioned seat for you. Since it's still going to be a bit of a long walk, he thought that maybe the broom like you normally use in class might be a bit uncomfortable. You could accompany him on the hike sitting on the broom and that way you wouldn't have to walk and strain your feet.
“Would you like me to help you get on the broom?” He asks politely.
If you accept his help, he will gently hold you by the waist and place you in the seat.
“The weather forecasts have been a bit... surprising.” Jade says with an enigmatic smile. “The predictions have proven to be quite inaccurate recently. There is a chance of some rain so I advise you to take an umbrella. But you should also put on sunscreen and wear a hat. Hats are essential when sketching outdoors. I got horribly sunburned once when I grew too absorbed in my work.”
Jade was dressed for the occasion from head to toe. He even wore a long coat full of pockets and was carrying a camping backpack. But in your case, he didn't ask you to take much more than necessary.
As you were walking at night, Jade took a lantern with him and placed another one on the end of your broom. He was using his magic to lead the broom like someone leading a horse by the reins. He took you through the Dark Mirror to the Dwarfs' Mountain. It was a full moon night and it was beautiful. It shouldn't be long before the moon disappeared and gave way to dawn and at that height it was beautiful to see.
“They advise anyone who hike at night to do so on a full moon night, as this is the phase in which the moon provides the best natural lighting. However, if I'm correct it shouldn't be long until dawn. Maybe 30 to 45 minutes. The flower location is also not far from here, we will get there in time even if we take it slow and appreciate what surrounds us. Feel free to ask me anything if you see something that catches your interest.” He smiles and begins the hike.
If you do as he suggests and ask him about something you see or simply what his hikes are usually like, he'll be very happy to tell you anything you want to know. And if you ask him about some type of mushroom, he'll be even happier.
“I appreciate your willingness to listen to me talk about the mountains. I started to tell Floyd my thoughts about hiking in the mountains, and he nodded off not even a minute in.” Jade was telling you, “What a shame we cannot enjoy this hobby together.” when he felt something in his nose. “Hm?”
You also feel something on your nose, then on your forehead, on your cheek...
“Looks like this is your cue to open your umbrella.” He tells you. “So that is why it seemed like it was taking so long for dawn to come, the clouds are covering the sun. Fortunately... we arrived.”
You open your umbrella, it's not raining much yet. You see a small field between the trees and full of closed flowers. When you look at Jade, you see that something seems to be bothering him and you ask what he was thinking.
“Oh, you noticed.” he smiles, as if he had been caught. “I was thinking about these flowers. It says they bloom in the early hours of the day, but I don't remember if they would do so regardless of whether they received direct sunlight or not. It would be a shame not to be able to achieve our main objective.”
And then the sky gets darker and the rain starts to get heavier.
“Oh no, it doesn't look like it's going to be a light rain. You should take shelter. The mine is nearby, let's go there.”
“I should take shelter? What about you?”
“Well, it's not like water bothers me, remember? Fu fu~” He laughs amusedly.
Jade takes you by the broom to the inside of the mine, not far from the entrance, just enough to take shelter and still see the outside. As soon as you sat down on the ground the rain seemed to turn into a storm.
“Oh dear! I've never seen the weather forecast fail so badly.” he says with that toothy smile, probably enjoying the surprise a little too much. But then he looks at you. “I'm so sorry I brought you out into the middle of a storm this early in the morning. I really wanted to see those flowers with you. It seems I was reckless and let myself be carried away by impulse.”
He sees you shaking a little.
“Oh! I hadn't even realized how much the temperature had dropped. Here.” He takes off his long coat and offers it to you to put on. “I appreciate your concern, but there's no need to worry about me. I have excellent resistance to cold, remember? Speaking of your well-being, how is your ankle?”
You weren't wearing the shoe on your injured foot, but a thick sock over the bandages. That cold was good for your ankle, but terrible for the rest of your foot, especially your toes.
“Yes, as I imagined. Let me take care of you until we are able to go back to school. It's the least I can do after putting you through all this while you're still recovering.”
He looked at you with concern, but you've seen that "concerned" expression a few times before.
“You're looking at me so suspiciously. That is quite hurtful. You should know how careful I am, especially in a situation like this.”
But he still had that smile that, whoever knows him, knows there is something behind it. And so you ask him if you're going to be indebted to him after that. If there's one thing you learned from Octavinelle, it's not to accept any favor from them without knowing the terms and conditions of it.
“Fu fu fu...” his charismatic smile becomes his true smile, the one with his teeth showing. “I'm glad to see that you learned such a valuable lesson from us, (Y/N). But there is another one that we may need to teach you better. And that is the ability to realize when you have the advantage. Remember how you agreed to accompany me in exchange for a discount on the desserts? We were even then. In the case of the broom I provided, in exchange, you would offer me your company even though you were injured. In that case, I might be at a disadvantage. Since I was risking your injury getting worse by bringing you away from the protection of your home. And now, that risk has become real. Which means I'm the one who owes you this time. Which means I am the one who is in debt to you at the moment. Due to my poor decision of a date with a suitable weather for the hike. Any treatment I provide you will only and slimply make me pay my debt. Do you feel safer accepting my offer under these conditions?”
Everything he said made sense. And while the Octavinelle trio have a tendency to create shady agreements and contracts, they don't necessarily lie. They can do it by omission, but this is not the case, so you accept.
You are sitting on the mine floor with the same pillow that supported you on the broom. Jade sits in front of you and asks you to stretch your legs so he can put them over his. He takes off the sock that covered your foot and uses magic to warm your foot with the exception of the ankle that needs the cold. And while this heating magic is taking effect he massages your ankle and feet, in a way that is appropriate and specific for a sprained ankle. He was really good at it.
“There's another thing we've been even from the beginning.” he says with a smirk and without looking at you yet. “Grim was right, I wanted to go out with you. But...” He looks at you out of the corner of his eye, barely moving his head. “You wanted to go out with me as well... didn't you, (Y/N)?”
He sees you smiling, perhaps shyly, and takes it as a green light. He takes your feet from his lap and places them gently on the ground, then stretches out towards you, supporting himself on his hands, like a cat slowly approaching.
“I really feel horrible for putting you in this situation.” But he doesn't say this with regret, but rather in a purposefully seductive way. “I wonder what I can do to redeem myself? Especially if it lasts as long as it looks like it will. Making you wait here uncomfortably for so long will create a huge debt for me towards you.” He brings his face even closer to yours, with a smile as inviting as his heterochromatic eyes. “Tell me... what can I do to ease this situation?”
He won't kiss you. He'll wait patiently for you to do it first. Or better yet... for you to order him to kiss you.
“As you wish~” He says and kisses you passionately.
Tumblr media
Rainy weather tends to get a person down, and that's what was happening to you too. Even though you may enjoy listening to the rain outside, it's never good when you have to go back to your dorm. Especially with Grim complaining.
Grim managed to get to Ramshackle Dorm dry because he made you to carry him. You, on the other hand, had your legs and feet stuck in water. It was when you were going up the stairs to change your clothes in your room that you saw some little and familiar green lights around you.
You turn around and go to the door. When you open it you see Malleus with a large umbrella and dressed in black waterproof clothes and a raincoat.
“Good afternoon, Child of Man.” Malleus greets you with a polite smile. “I couldn't help but notice you less cheerful and smiling than usual these past few days. I think it even coincided with the arrival of the rainy weather. Would the two be connected?”
You tell him yes. Maybe you don't like rain at all, or maybe you only like rain when you can sit inside and enjoy the sound. Either way, you don't like being out in the rain and risking catching a cold.
“Oh yes, that is true... a simple rain can make a human sick. But I believe that having wet clothes such as yours can also contribute to a possible sickness, am I correct?” he asks and you confirm. “Allow me to help you dry faster.”
“You're not going to use fire magic on me, are you?” you ask slightly worried.
“Yes, I was about to. Why so worried about it?”
“Because you can burn me with it.”
“Burn? Oh, no, I wasn't going to use direct fire. I know that fire hurts other living beings. I was going to use a variation of fire magic that just changes the temperature around certain objects. I have used it several times to dry my own clothes. You seem more relieved. Will you allow me to use it then?”
You accept and he uses his magic to dry your pants, shoes and socks in a second.
“You know, I personally quite appreciate this weather. It's perfect for the Gargoyle Studies Club because we can watch them perform their main function. Or at least I can see them. I would love to share this sight with you. Perhaps it could help you feel a little better on days like these. What do you say? Do you accept my invitation?” He smiles excitedly, which is also cute.
You say you'd love to, but you don't have rain gear like his.
“There is no need for this to be a deterrent. I'll be more than happy to provide you with suitable clothing.” He uses his magic again and changes your uniform into the same set of rain gear he was wearing. Seeing you in those clothes makes him smile even more. “They seem to suit you well.”
“But how do I go with you?” You ask. “Don't you usually fly up to the gargoyles?”
“I do. I was thinking, if you're comfortable with it, that I could carry you in my arms. Like I saw you doing with Grim just now when you were coming back home. This umbrella is big enough for two people. But if you prefer, I can also give you another umbrella and we can ask Coach Vargas for one of the flying brooms.”
You admit that you don't mind about the first option and maybe even use the excuse that you don't have magic and Grim clearly doesn't want to go with you, so you wouldn't be able to use the broom by yourself.
“In that case, if you're ready, we can go back to the main building to admire the gargoyles.” He smiles and bends his arm, inviting you to intertwine yours with his.
You do so, he places the umbrella between the two of you and you walk back to the school building. He was talking about his club and gargoyles in general until you got close to a wall with no doors or windows nearby.
“One of my favorite gargoyles sits right above us.” Malleus tells you. “Do you see that trickle of water? It's coming from that same gargoyle. Are you ready for me to take you up there and show you?” He extends a hand to you.
You place your hand over his and he gently pulls you towards him. He then lets go of your hand to bend down slightly, put his arm around you and picks you up. Your reflex is to put your arms around his neck to hold on, which brings your faces closer together. He looks directly at you and chuckles seeing your embarrassed/shy face.
“Hold on tight. And do not worry about hurting me, you wouldn't be able to even if you tried. Fu fu.”
As soon as he rises into the air you grab him tightly, which makes him chuckle because he was barely half a meter off the ground yet. Then he rises even higher, but slower than he would on his own. He doesn't want to scare you.
When you get close to the gargoyle, he sits the two of you next to it, you between him and the gargoyle so you can see it better. And he will never let go of your waist to hold you. If you are afraid of heights, or if you just feel a little scared at that moment and hold on to him, he will chuckle and hold you even tighter, but never too tight so as not to hurt you.
“Worry not, (Y/N). I won't let go of you. You can enjoy the gargoyle as much as you wish. I'll be holding you the entire time.”
As you admire the gargoyle doing its work and see the rainwater coming out of its mouth, Malleus admires you.
“Do you wish to know why this is one of my favorite gargoyles on the school building?” He asks and of course you say yes. “In terms of appearance, there's nothing very different about this one from all the others. In fact, there is nothing worth calling special about this gargoyle carving technique. What delights me the most about this gargoyle is not what any of us can see, but what it can see every day.”
You look ahead, trying to figure out where the gargoyle was looking, but the school grounds were so big and the sea so vast that you couldn't be sure. Malleus chuckles, as if you weren't seeing something obvious.
“You are looking too far away. See which building is closest.”
You look closer, at the least impressive building on campus.
“Ramshackle Dorm?” You ask.
“Correct. This gargoyle must have seen the whole story of your dormitory. When it was built, who might have been there before you, how it became an abandoned building and the answers to any question we might wish to know about its mysterious past.”
You look at that gargoyle again with new eyes. All your questions could be answered. If it could talk, it would certainly be a very interesting conversation.
“This gargoyle also witnessed all my visits to the ruins.” Malleus continues. “I wonder what it thought of me, coming in just to admire the decay of that dormitory. But more than that, I wonder what it thought of you. Arriving with a mischievous little monster, a being without magic and completely unaware of the history of this world. And yet, able to breathe new life into rubble and call it home. It also witnessed our meeting. Could it have found it as amusing as I did? Fu fu~”
You look at your dorm, thinking now of everything that gargoyle could have seen.
“And now, it is watching over you.” He looks at you with a sweet smile. “I've told this gargoyle a lot about you, and now it's finally meeting you.”
If you look at the gargoyle again and even greet it, Malleus will laugh in amusement.
“I am certain it was as delighted to meet you as I was that night.”
You look at him and see him looking at you with great affection.
“Speaking of which, I'm curious.” Malleus continues. “Did you also enjoy meeting me that night? You were not frightened, at least.”
You tell him how you felt that night. Surprised, especially seeing such a tall guy with horns, but also intrigued to know who he was. You also found him extremely polite by the way he spoke.
“But I remember finding you very handsome right away.” You admit it.
Malleus is taken aback for a second, but then he laughs.
“Well, I am quite grateful for your honesty. Fu fu. Therefore, I should also admit that I found you... intrepidly charming.”
“Is that a good thing?” You ask.
“For some it may not be, but for me, and the inherently way you show it, it is something wonderful. I could even describe it as cute, especially when you are oblivious to social statutes.” He smiles honestly. And after a moment of reflection, his gaze becomes tender. “I am very fortunate to have you in my life, (Y/N).”
You show him your surprise, that sudden line was very unexpected.
“These moments with you always become some of my fondest memories. I hope to be as pleasant a companion to you as you are to me.”
You feel his arm around you instinctively pulling you closer to him. It's being a cute moment until there's a flash. You both look up and a few seconds later you hear the deafening rumble of thunder. It was so loud that it felt like it was very close to you and made you flinch as a reflex. Which also caused Malleus to let go of the umbrella and let it float above you to be able to hug you with both arms.
“I need to get you out of here. We're too high.”
He picks you up with both arms without hesitation while the umbrella floats above the two of you. And then another bolt of lightning! But this time it hit the tower right next to you, which scared you and made you cling to Malleus.
“A quick trip it shall be.” He holds your head, making you rest it on his shoulder, and in the blink of an eye, you no longer feel the rain and the scene changes abruptly.
You are now at the door of Ramshackle Dorm. He has teleported the two of you there. He leans in for you to put your feet back on the ground.
“I'm sorry our study trip has been so short.” He says with pity. “There were other gargoyles I would have liked to show you. But if you enjoyed our time today, I can show them to you on another outing sometime.” He smiles at you.
Right after you say you'd love it, you hear another clap of thunder. And so, you decide to invite Malleus to stay in Ramshackle with you for a while until the storm calms down.
“You are... Well, I would love to accept your invitation, but you do know that storms are not dangerous to me, correct?”
“I know.” you simply say, without withdrawing your invitation.
Malleus starts by laughing softly, until he lets out a good-natured laugh.
“You certainly are a very strange child of man.”
Malleus is too much of a gentleman to advance much further than with charming words. So, that will have to be your job.
“I am very fortunate to have you in my life too, Tsunotarou.” You tell him.
Malleus looks at you in surprise for a second until an adorable smile forms on his lips.
“You are one of the few who would say that.” He smirks. “And certainly the only human outside of Briar Valley who would say something like that at all.”
Come to think of it, with perhaps the exception of Lilia, the Diasomnia boys tend to be a bit oblivious to subtext. So you decide to take a risk and be direct.
“Tsunotarou... Malleus... do you like me?”
“Of course I like you. I thought I was expressing myself quite well in that regard.” He says a little confused.
“I mean... could you...” He probably doesn't know what the word ‘crush’ means, or he may take it literally. “...be in love with me? Or something like that?”
He is taken aback, and looks at you with wide eyes and raised eyebrows.
“Me? The successor to the throne of Briar Valley and one of the most powerful mages in Twisted Wonderland? In love with... a powerless human from another world?” He seems to think about it for a moment until a smile forms again. “Fu fu... ha ha... HA HA HA HA HA!”
That laugh hurts your heart a little, until he continues speaking.
“I had never thought of that.” He says, looking to the side as he thinks. “But... if what I feel for you truly is what they call love... then now I understand why it is such a longed-for feeling. And if it is true then... ha ha HA HA... Oh, the obstacles we would have to face to be together. It does indeed sound exciting... Perhaps...” He looks you in the eyes. “Perhaps you are correct in interpreting my actions as such. However, I still cannot be sure it is love. But perhaps I can answer your question by admitting that, in fact, I nourish a much more intimate feeling towards you than friendship. This would explain why your company comforts and makes me happier than any other.”
He sees you smile as you listen to what he was saying.
“May I interpret that beautiful smile of yours as a possible mutual feeling on your part?”
You confirm and he leans in to take your hand and bring it to his lips to kiss the back of it. If you dare to take advantage of the fact that his face is at the same level as yours and you kiss his cheek, he will look at you in surprise before chuckling.
“Such audacity.” He says with a smug smile and still leaning over, his face close to yours. “Are you certain you wiah to find out how passionate I can be?”
He interprets your smile as confirmation and he kisses your lips delicately. Despite everything, he knows he can hurt you if he lets himself get too carried away. He's going to have to test some... limits.

Naruto boys and “would you love me if i was a worm?” 🪱🍃🎋
includes: Kakashi; Gai; Jiraiya; Naruto; Sasuke; Neji; Lee; Kiba; Shino; Shikamaru; Gaara; Kankuro
warning: none, this is just a crack fic lmao (nsfw during jiraiya’s part tho, obvi)
Kakashi
“….sure….?”
i feel like he might more the trend because of his students telling him about it, like sakura or smth.
he’s a little lost but he promised to love through sickness and through health….so this would probably count as sickness LMAO
after you explain it’s a joke, he’ll definitely tease you about it. he’ll start calling you ‘his little worm.’ you hate it LMAO
Gai
“WHY ARE YOU ASKING ME THIS?!? ARE YOU TURNING INTO A WORM?”
i think he would take this WAYYY TOOOO seriously lmaoo.
like he would be reading all types of things to find a way to ‘reverse’ whatever jitsu that was put on you to turn you into a worm.
you explain it’s a joke, so he embarrassingly laughs it off.
but secretly…whenever he sees a worm he asks if it’s you LOL he’s still convinced you might become a worm one day
but trust he researched how to take care of worms, so that just incase, he could always take care of you
he’s a little stupid but he has the right idea
Jiraiya
“…..i wouldn’t be able to sleep with you then.”
of course that’s all he cares about….
he won’t understand the question, even if you explain to him that it’s a trend.
“my toads would eat you, my love.”
he’s a little stupid LMAO
Naruto
“Hmmmm….the real question is….would you love me if I was a worm?”
he makes it a competition of who would love who more if they were a worm lmao
“we would be able to eat ramen if we were worms?!?!” He panics over that; he could never survive without ramen!
but over all Naruto would definitely love you if you were a worm, he’s make u a little ecosystem in his room LMAO
Sasuke
“no…?”
he’s very confused. why would he love a worm? and why are you asking such an odd question?
after you explain it’s a silly trend, he still doesn’t quite understand it…but he might just give u a lil smirk or smth to show his ‘amusement’
later on, when you two are snuggling in bed, he’ll randomly ask you, “would you still love me if I was a worm?” which would make you laugh
if you say yes, he’ll secretly be all happy, but he won’t show it on the outside.
if you say no he would definitely sulk in a corner LMAO it would take a lot of convincing to get him to come back to bed and cuddle.
Neji
"A worm.....?"
He doesn't get it, he's still very confused.
Even after you explain it, he's still confused.
Like Sasuke, Neji didn't really get a fun childhood, so these kinds of jokes don't make sense to him.
But after he understands your joking, he'll try his best to entertain you and play along (he would do anything for you babe.)
Lee
“I WOULD LOVE YOU NO MATTER WHAT!”
your are the most precious thing to Lee, trust he would love you as a worm
he doesn’t think it’s a stupid question either, he doesn’t think anything you say is stupid (unless your talking down to yourself…)
From then on, Lee saves all the worms that get on the pavement when it rains. he gently puts them back into the grass and stops anyone from stepping on them. he’s a cutie
Kiba
"I would eat you!"
what a dumb ass, he can't take anything seriously (not like your question was very serious either...)
every time he sees a worm now, he'll pick it up and pretend to almost put it in his mouth and eat it. His way of flirting is being mean
Shino
"Of course I would."
Babes, Shino has bugs living inside of him, you being a worm would not freak him out at all.
He also doesn't understand the joke, so he would assume this is a genuine concern you had for your future together lmao. He would definitely start giving you worm things, like a pinch of soil every once in a while.
You find it odd, but he's showing you that he could easily care for you if your were a worm lmao
Shikamaru
"Stop asking me stupid questions."
Oh he's definitely getting the silent treatment for that....
He would apologize perfously tho lmao, and he would also promise that he would love you as a worm.
you annoy the hell out of him sometimes, but he still loves u dw
Gaara
“…..huh?”
very lost 😭 he doesn’t understand these trends, nor does he understand that you are in fact joking. He assumed you are being genuinely serious about turning into a worm
once you explain it’s a trend he will probably just say, “Yes…i would love you as a worm.”
he would feel really happy too if you tell him you’d love him as a worm (but he wouldn’t admit that)
i hc that gaara is actually a huge softie when he’s alone with u hehe
Kankuro
“Helllllll no.”
oh he’s sleeping on the couch for that.
he would laugh his ass off that your taking the joke this seriously.
Dw he’ll sculpt you a little worm after and give you it as an apology.

do you mind? (repost)
summary. sharing a table with a stranger at a crowded café, only to realize they’re far more interesting than you expected.
characters. xiao, scaramouche, heizou, venti, kazuha x gn!reader (separate)
tags. modern au, fluff, crack
warnings. kind of ooc xiao and kazuha, alcohol in venti's
Tumblr media
XIAO
Internally panicking, but he welcomes you to the table with a small nod. He’s the reserved type—the kind to look anywhere but in your general direction just to avoid eye contact. Archons, how many times has he glanced out the window just to stare at that decorative plant? He even counted the leaves.
Social interaction isn’t his strong suit. And it certainly doesn’t help that you’re attractive.
If he had his way, he’d sit in silence, letting the passing seconds fill the space between you. But his own discomfort betrays him. Hands fidgeting under the table, fingers tracing the rim of his cup, gaze flickering to anything but you.
He feigns indifference, arms crossed, posture rigid.
But then—you speak. Because, for some reason, you find him interesting.
You introduce yourself first, then ask for his name.
His heart stumbles in his chest. He’s unsure if it’s from nerves or the sheer absurdity of the situation. Someone willingly trying to talk to him, despite his obvious attempts to fade into the background.
Though his palms are slightly damp from tension, he keeps his voice steady, his expression unreadable. Flat tone. Unwavering gaze. A carefully maintained air of disinterest.
You frown. A subtle shift, but he notices.
That’s a cue, isn’t it? A signal that you’ll leave him alone now. That’s what he wanted… right?
Then why does something in his chest sink when you simply nod, pressing your lips into a thin line, offering nothing more?
He exhales quietly. Curses himself. He just lost the chance to get to know you.
But this is the first time someone’s been able to catch his attention. So he thinks of a way to redeem himself.
"Oh. Okay." You say in response to his answer, forcing yourself to sound indifferent. But truthfully, you’re embarrassed.
You spent a whole ten minutes bouncing your leg, debating whether or not you should make the first move, only to be met with disappointment after finally mustering up the courage.
You bite your bottom lip and tap your fingers on the table, falling silent. Now, all you can do is wait for the servers to call your order so you can leave. You seriously don’t want to embarrass yourself further in front of this stranger.
“I, uh...”
A voice cuts through your thoughts.
You don’t assume right away that he’s talking to you, so you keep your gaze averted, pretending not to notice.
Then, a cough. Loud enough that you instinctively glance up in concern.
Your eyes widen slightly when you find him already looking at you.
“Yes?” You ask, taken aback that he was referring to you. There’s a flicker of curiosity in your expression, maybe even a bit of hope.
He hesitates. “…I'm sorry.” His voice is quieter this time, almost unsure. “I didn’t mean to come across as cold earlier.”
The shift in his tone is subtle, but you catch it. Gone is the detached, indifferent edge from before.
You smile, relieved. "No, no, don't worry about it! I get like that sometimes too."
He exhales lightly. Almost as if… reassured. After a beat, he offers a small, hesitant smile in return. It’s brief, but it’s there.
It suits him, you think.
It’s cute that he chose to apologize instead of just letting it be. Most people would’ve moved on, unwilling to make things more awkward. But he didn't.
And then—
"I'm not used to people." He pauses. “…Especially ones like you.”
A beat of silence.
You blink. Wait. What?
His own words seem to register a second too late.
You watch as his shoulders tense slightly, his fingers curling into a loose fist on his lap. The tips of his ears are… pink?
Oh.
Oh.
Was that supposed to be a compliment? Was he flirting with you? No way. He doesn’t seem like the flirty type. He’s definitely more socially awkward than you. Maybe he didn’t mean it like that.
But before you can overthink it—
“…If it’s okay with you, may I have your number?”
Tumblr media
SCARAMOUCHE / WANDERER
Glares at you menacingly. Like a cat trying to hiss someone away.
Him? Sharing a table? With some random nobody? Absolutely not. This table is his.
Without breaking eye contact, he places his bag on the chair in front of him. A silent warning. Don’t even think about it.
"It's occupied," he deadpans before returning to whatever he was doing.
You, unimpressed, grab his bag and dump it on the table. Then you plop down into the chair, arms crossed, staring him down as if to say: "Try and get me out of this seat, you brat."
His mouth parted slightly, just for a second, before snapping shut. Did you just—? The audacity.
A scoff escapes him as he leans back in his chair, arms crossed, his glare sharper than ever. His fingers drum against his bicep as he mutters under his breath—something that sounds suspiciously like, "At least you're not completely spineless." Not that he’d ever say it directly.
But since the café is packed and dragging you out by the collar would be frowned upon, he begrudgingly allows it.
For the most part, he ignores you. Or at least, he tries to. You pretend not to notice the irritated glances he throws your way every time you smile at your phone or stifle a laugh.
Then a server approaches.
She sets your drink down and takes a brief look at the two of you. No food orders yet. Her eyes brighten as she leans in slightly, all smiles.
"We actually have a 25% couple's discount for two strawberry shortcakes!"
Silence.
His stare darkens.
He looks at her like she just personally insulted his entire bloodline. If he had one in this universe, anyway. His lips part, undoubtedly to say something cruel enough to make her rethink her entire career.
But before he can, you slap a hand over his mouth.
"That sounds great! We’ll take it!" you chirp, grinning at the waitress as if your life doesn’t currently depend on keeping Scaramouche from verbally eviscerating an innocent employee.
The server’s eyes sparkle with delight as she scribbles down the order. She even hums.
He looks personally offended.
You heave a sigh as the server finally walks away. Just as you’re about to relax, you feel a vibration against your palm. The glaring stranger is trying to speak, his voice muffled against your hand.
Then, before you can react—
His tongue moves.
He licks your palm.
Slow. Wet. Deliberate.
"Gross!" You yank your hand away, scrubbing it furiously against his sleeve.
He swats you off instantly, recoiling like you just infected him with the plague. "Get your germs off of me!" he snaps.
"You're the one who just licked my hand!" you retort, scandalized.
His scowl deepens. His expression alone speaks volumes.
"The hell was that for? First, you hog my table—"
"I wasn’t hogging it, we needed to share!"
"—interrupting my peace with your presence—"
"I was minding my own business!"
"—and then you have the absolute audacity to make us out as some kind of couple?!"
"Shut up, they might hear you! We’ll lose the discount!" you hiss, glancing around in case the staff overheard. The people in the vicinity gave looks of concern at your direction.
He scoffs. "You have some nerve."
You roll your eyes. So dramatic. Acting like you just ruined his life.
"I had to grab the opportunity. It’s strawberry shortcake."
He clicks his tongue. "That’s your excuse?"
"It’s strawberry shortcake," you repeat as if that alone explains everything.
He huffs, crossing his arms. "Fine. Go eat your stupid cake."
"You don’t want some?"
"I hate cakes."
You blink. Who the hell hates cake?
"Why?"
His eyes narrow. "Why? Because I hate them. I hate sweets in general. Life isn’t sweet. Life is full of bitterness and sorrow. I don’t get how people manage to laugh in this world. It’s annoying."
…Wow. That escalated.
How did a conversation about shortcakes turn into a monologue about the inherent misery of existence?
"What the hell? Who hurt you?" you mutter.
"My mother."
You suck in a sharp breath.
The words are so blunt, so casually spoken, that it takes you a second to process. Your lips twitch. No. You shouldn’t laugh.
But the longer you stare at his deadpan face, the harder it is to hold back. A chuckle slips out. Then another.
Hey, this guy is kind of funny. He's growing on you.
He gives you a baffled look like you’re the crazy one for finding humor in his trauma dump.
His brows furrow, and for a brief second, his gaze lingers—not in irritation, but in something else. Something almost mesmerized. He mutters something too quiet to catch before looking away, resting his head on his palm.
You inhale deeply, composing yourself. "Fine. I'll eat both cakes, then. I'm the one paying anyway."
He doesn’t respond, just glares at nothing in particular.
Minutes later, the same cheerful server returns with a tray of two servings of strawberry shortcake. Just as you reach for your wallet—
A hand beats you to it.
The stranger slaps down his own cash before you can even open your bag.
The server’s grin widens. "Ah, paying for the date? How chivalrous!" she chimes, her voice far too amused, before skipping away.
You freeze. Wait.
Did he just let her think that?
Your gaze snaps to him, utterly bewildered. He doesn’t even deny it—just grabs one of the plates and starts stabbing the cake with his fork.
"I thought you said you don’t like sweets."
"That’s right," he mutters before taking a grumpy bite.
You narrow your eyes. "Then why—"
He chews, swallows, and then shrugs, avoiding your gaze.
"Would be a real waste of my money if I didn’t enjoy it with you."

HEIZOU
Has been watching you since you entered the café. Not in a creepy way, just subtle, observant, like he’s solving a case. And wow you are stunning. The way your eyes scan the room, looking for an open seat, tells him you’re about to approach him.
He makes his move first.
"Over here!" he waves, voice warm and inviting, like he's an old friend waiting for you. You hesitate, confused. Do you know this guy? But with no other seats available, you accept with a small, grateful smile.
Big mistake. Or maybe the best decision you’ve made today.
Because once you sit, he talks. And flirts. And teases. And somehow, he already knows things about you.
Will ask you all sorts of questions: What's your name? Your age? Your birthday? Your favorite color? Any pets? Exes?
Even taking guesses as to what your answers might be. and he got them all right, if not, then close. But every now and then, he throws in something completely unexpected:
"What's your ideal type? Is it me?"
"Aside from being pretty, what do you do for a living?"
"Have you ever committed a crime before? Because now you have."  He says while clutching his chest.
You nearly choke on your drink. Heizou just grins, clearly enjoying himself.
"Alright, your turn. You can interrogate me now," he offers, eyes gleaming with amusement.
And so you do. Because he’s interesting. Charming. Smart. Too smart. And when he leans in slightly, studying your features like he’s committing them to memory, you feel yourself getting drawn in, too.
Heizou hums in thought. "You’ve got the kind of face that belongs in a painting," he muses. "I’d describe it more, but I’d rather see how flustered you get first."
You roll your eyes, trying (and failing) to suppress a smile.
He'd be the type to reach out and take small bites of your food while chatting. He does it so shamelessly that you're impressed, so you just let him.
This boy is so confident with himself, flirting so casually like it's second nature.
He wouldn't go as far as to touch you, of course. He knows his limits and will keep his hands to himself. But he acts so relaxed and friendly with you that you think maybe he's just playing you.
You’re not dumb. You know he’s interested in you.
It’s not like he’s being subtle about it, either. The lingering glances, the teasing smirks, the way his eyes light up whenever you react to his words. It’s obvious.
And sure, you feel the same way. But still.
Is this how he always approaches strangers? Does he flirt for fun, or does he actually mean to follow through? How many people have fallen for his tricks before?
A thoughtful hum breaks your train of thought. Heizou taps his chin lightly, then suddenly snaps his fingers. A habit you’ve noticed ever since you sat down.
"Your expression tells me you’re doubting my motives. Correct?"
You blink in surprise. Then chuckle softly, shaking your head. Damn, he’s good.
"That’s right. A point for you, detective."
He lets out a breathy laugh, eyes twinkling with amusement. "Funny you say that. Being a detective is my full-time job."
Your lips part slightly in surprise. He never mentioned that before. But now it all makes sense. The way he reads you like an open book, the way he asks questions so effortlessly, the way he makes it feel like you’re being studied and he’s enjoying every second of it.
"That’s quite… attractive." You admit, cheeks warming slightly.
Heizou leans back in his chair, arms crossed, looking far too pleased with himself. "You think so?" His grin widens, but there’s a new glint in his gaze now.
"Then allow me to clear up any lingering doubts, sweetheart." He tilts his head slightly, voice dropping just enough to make your stomach flip.
"I do plan on pursuing you."
Oh.
Your heart stumbles. You were not prepared for him to be that straightforward.
Heizou watches your reaction, clearly amused. Then, with a dramatic sigh, he shakes his head. "Only a true detective can crack the case of this heart theft, you know."
A teasing pause. Then, the final blow.
"And my prime suspect… is you."
Tumblr media
VENTI
When you approach him, the faint yet unmistakable scent of alcohol lingers in the air. He’s drunk. In the middle of the day. At a café.
Wait. Do they even serve alcohol here?
His head rests lazily on his folded arms, eyelids heavy, lips slightly parted. If it weren’t for the gentle rise and fall of his shoulders, you’d think he was fast asleep. Beside him, a humble coffee cup sits suspiciously untouched. Your curiosity gets the better of you, and you lean in for a peek.
Yep. It’s alcohol.
How the hell did he sneak that in? More importantly, how has no one caught him yet? You glance around, half-expecting an employee to scold him, but they just pass him by like he’s invisible. Maybe he’s a regular here.
Deciding not to wake him, you quietly settle into the seat across from him, giving him space.
Then, without warning, he jolts awake.
"Oh! Hello, stranger!"
He’s suddenly wide awake. No sluggish blinking, no groggy confusion, just pure, unbothered energy. You flinch at the unexpected enthusiasm.
He doesn’t ask why you’re here. He doesn’t even bother to ask your name. Instead, he jumps straight into conversation as if you’re an old friend who’s been here all along.
And somehow, you go along with it.
With an animated grin, he launches into the most ridiculous stories you’ve ever heard.
"Earlier, I saw this red-haired guy absolutely demolish some blue-haired guy in a fight. It was spectacular! Ehe~!"
You blink. Excuse me?
That’s just one of the things he shares. He never runs out of things to say. Wild, chaotic, oddly fascinating things. Like?? Does he see stuff like that on a daily basis?
And despite nearly passing out five minutes ago, he speaks so effortlessly that you start questioning if he was even drunk to begin with.
Like Heizou, he will also steal some of the pastries you ordered, albeit in a more subtle manner. He thinks you don't notice this lol.
"You've got fine taste in sweets, stranger!" he hums, twirling a fork between his fingers. "Tell me, what's your opinion on wine?"
You blink at the sudden shift in topic but answer with an amused smile. "I don’t really know much about it. I just drink whatever I feel like."
Venti gasps dramatically, "Hah, I thought so! I cou—"
His sentence is abruptly cut off by a hiccup. You barely suppress a laugh as you slide a glass of water toward him.
"Whoops! My bad!" He lets out a bubbly giggle, taking the water with a flourish. After downing a few sips, he clears his throat with an exaggerated ahem.
"As I was saying—" He pauses for effect. "If you're interested in wine, I’d be delighted to educate you! I’d say I’m an expert.”
You tilt your head playfully. "I can tell."
His eyes twinkle with mischief. "But if you're not..."
He leans in slightly, voice dropping to a low, teasing whisper.
"I'm still very interested in having a drink with you sometime. You’re quite the gorgeous stranger, you know."
Before you can fully process the compliment, he winks. Smooth, confident, entirely shameless.
"So," he muses, resting his chin in his palm.
“What do you say about keeping in touch?"
Tumblr media
KAZUHA
Kazuha is probably the most normal one out of the bunch. No glares, no drunken ramblings, no interrogation-like questioning. Just a warm, endearing smile as he gestures toward the empty seat across from him.
He even stands up, gently pulling your chair back for you. A small but thoughtful gesture. One that makes your heart skip just a little.
"Please, have a seat." His voice is soft, and smooth, like a passing breeze on a summer afternoon.
As you settle in, he strikes up a light conversation, asking about your day with genuine curiosity. He listens intently, nodding along, occasionally offering small comments that make you feel at ease.
And unlike a certain maroon-haired flirt or a wine-loving bard, instead of stealing your food, he offers you his. With a slight nudge, he pushes his plate toward you.
"Would you like to try some?" His expression is hopeful.
You shake your head, feeling too shy to accept. "Oh, no, it’s yours. I couldn’t."
He pouts. Actually pouts.
"Come on, just a bite. Humor me." He even throws in the puppy eyes.
And damn it, how could you refuse that face?
Reluctantly, you take a tiny piece with your fork, just enough to taste.
He notices. And he’s not having it.
Without a word, he cuts a larger piece, lifting it toward your lips with his own fork.
"Say aah," he coaxes, his smile both playful and teasing.
Your face burns hotter than the café’s espresso machine, but you comply, letting him feed you.
His expression softens, eyes twinkling with quiet satisfaction.
But just when you think it couldn't get worse—
He leans forward slightly, his gaze dropping to your lips.
Before you can react, he reaches out, thumb brushing lightly against the corner of your mouth.
Then, with a casual grace that should not be allowed, he brings his thumb to his lips, licking off the stray bit of cream.
And smiles.
Innocently.
As if he didn’t just send your soul straight into the abyss.
You stare at him, utterly flustered, while he simply sips his tea, acting as though he didn’t just casually destroy you in broad daylight.
"You're acting awfully sweet to a stranger," you point out, tilting your head at him.
Kazuha hums thoughtfully, swirling his tea. Then, he gives you a small, shy smile.
"Am I? Well... how could I not, if the stranger is you?"
Smooth. Too smooth.
He gives you a shy smile. "We could fix the 'stranger' part. How about friends?"
You giggle softly. "Are you sure just friends?"
He gives you a playful look. "Well, we could be more in the future."
His laugh is light, airy. Like the whisper of wind through maple leaves. But then, something seems to dawn on him, and his expression shifts.
"But—" he pauses, suddenly looking sheepish. "If you're already seeing someone, being friends is enough."
Oh, that's adorable.
You giggle behind your hand, heartwarming at his sincerity. After all that flirting, he's still worried about stepping over a line.
"Don't worry," you reassure him, "I've never dated anyone."
His eyes widen slightly, genuine disbelief flickering across his face.
"Is that so?" He tilts his head. "That's surprising. I thought someone like you would be off the market by now."
You shrug, smirking at him. He leans in just a little, voice dropping to a gentle murmur, as if sharing a secret.
His gaze locks onto yours, warm, admiring.
“I get to find and keep the treasure, then? What an honor.”

(it doesn’t really matter which type of soul bond (like soul string, soulmate marks, soul touch etccc)

Tumblr media
You never asked for soulmates.
In a world where thin red threads faintly mark your wrist until they flare to life near the person fate ties you to, most people spent their lives waiting for that spark. But not you. The thought of destiny dictating who you should love — who you’re meant to belong to — felt more like a cage than a gift. So, when your thread began to thrum with heat one quiet afternoon in your second semester of college, your first instinct was fear.
And you ran.
It didn’t matter that the sensation wasn’t painful — just a soft, glowing warmth, buzzing with promise. It didn’t matter that it happened in the middle of the busy student union, surrounded by strangers and noise. What mattered was that it meant something — and you weren’t ready to face it.
Not if it meant them.
Wooyoung and San were hard to miss. Magnetic in completely different ways. Wooyoung, with his playful grin and boundless energy, could light up a room just by walking into it. San, all sharp focus and quiet depth, always seemed to notice what others didn’t. They were inseparable — best friends, roommates — already connected by a thread that glowed bright and sure.
And now, you were supposed to be the missing piece.
The second all three threads sparked to life, Wooyoung had let out a breathless laugh, San’s eyes had gone wide — and you’d turned on your heel and fled the building like it was burning.
---
You let out a long sigh as you closed the door behind you, the weight of the day settling on your shoulders like a stormcloud. The lock clicked into place — not just to keep them out, but to hold yourself in. Safe. Unreachable.
Hyojin, your best friend and roommate, barely glanced up from the couch, where a cheesy romcom played softly in the background. She raised an eyebrow, an all-too-knowing look on her face.
"Let me guess," she said, voice light but edged with concern. "Running from them again?"
You didn’t answer. You just dropped down beside her with a quiet thud, the couch dipping under your weight. The screen lit your face in soft colors — two strangers falling in love like it was simple, like it didn’t terrify them.
You wished you were that brave.
Hyojin didn’t press. She never did. She just nudged a blanket toward you with her foot, eyes still on the screen as if your whole world wasn’t quietly unraveling right beside her.
"You know, in these movies, the running only works for so long," she murmured, half-teasing, half-serious. "Eventually, the love interest shows up in the rain with a boombox or something dramatic."
You scoffed, curling up under the blanket. "Good thing it hasn’t rained."
"Yet," she added, casting a quick side glance your way. "And let’s be honest, if anyone’s showing up with a grand gesture, it’s Wooyoung."
You groaned, burying your face into a pillow. Just hearing his name made your thread pulse. Not painfully — it never was — but a low, steady ache that reminded you they were still there. Waiting.
"San wouldn’t," you muttered into the cushion. "He’d just stare at me until I broke into pieces."
Hyojin laughed, a soft and knowing sound. "Yeah. He has that vibe. All intense eye contact and poetic heartbreak."
You didn’t reply, but your silence was loud.
You wanted to say it wasn’t fair. That you didn’t ask for this — the connection, the glowing thread, the weight of expectation. But deep down, you knew it wasn’t about fair. It was about fear.
Because Wooyoung and San were real. They saw you. And worse — they wanted to.
And you weren’t sure you could handle what came next if you stopped running.
So instead, you sat there, pretending the movie was enough to keep your heart quiet, while your soul tugged in the direction of two people who refused to stop hoping.
---
Wooyoung paced.
Back and forth across the small dorm room, hands ruffling through his hair, his wrist glowing with that telltale red thread that never seemed to fade anymore. It hummed lightly — not in sound, but in feeling. Always there. Always warm. Always pointing toward you.
San sat on the edge of his bed, elbows on his knees, watching silently.
"She’s avoiding us again," Wooyoung muttered, more to himself than anything. "She saw me outside the art building and ran. Not walked, not slipped away. Ran. Like I was chasing her with a chainsaw."
San tilted his head slightly, his gaze calm but thoughtful. “You were holding a bouquet of red carnations.”
"...Okay, maybe that was a little intense."
San finally smiled, a flicker of amusement in his usually unreadable expression. But it faded quickly, replaced with the same quiet worry he’d been carrying since the threads lit up.
"She’s scared," he said simply. "It’s not us. It’s what we mean."
Wooyoung dropped down onto the bed beside him with a frustrated sigh. “But why be afraid of something that’s supposed to be… good? We’re not trying to force her. We haven’t even— We’re giving her space.”
"I know," San said. "But space doesn’t always feel like safety. Sometimes it just feels like distance. Like abandonment."
They both went quiet for a long moment.
Outside, campus life went on — students laughing in the hall, music drifting in through a slightly cracked window, the world moving forward while they stayed suspended in this waiting game.
"I just…" Wooyoung trailed off, looking down at the soft glow on his wrist. "I just want her to know we’re not here to trap her in some fate-shaped box. I want her to choose us. Not because of this—" he lifted his arm, the thread catching the light, "—but because she wants to."
San nodded slowly, eyes fixed on his own wrist. The thread stretched out into the unknown, toward you.
“She’ll come back,” he said quietly. “She just needs time.”
“And what if time doesn’t help?” Wooyoung whispered.
San’s answer was immediate, steady. “Then we wait longer.”
---
You weren’t sure when you fell asleep.
The romcom had ended. Hyojin had gone quiet beside you, her phone screen dimming as she dozed off mid-scroll. The apartment was wrapped in a soft kind of stillness — the kind that feels like it’s waiting for something to happen.
You stirred when a faint knock tapped against the door.
Once. Then twice. Soft, hesitant. Like whoever was on the other side wasn’t sure they should be there at all.
You sat up slowly, the blanket slipping off your shoulders. Hyojin blinked awake, squinting toward the door.
"Expecting someone?" she mumbled, voice rough with sleep.
You shook your head, already knowing — somehow — who it was. You couldn’t explain how you knew. The way your thread felt suddenly alive, humming low and warm, like it was holding its breath.
You padded to the door quietly, heart thudding too loud for how little had happened. You didn’t unlock it right away. Just pressed your forehead against the cool wood, eyes closed.
“Y/N?” Wooyoung’s voice was soft. Barely a whisper. “I’m not here to push. I just… I wanted to leave something.”
There was a pause.
Then the rustle of a paper bag.
“I made too many honey muffins. Thought you might want one. Or not. Either way—” he hesitated, then gave a short, nervous laugh, “—I figured it’s harder to be scared of someone who shows up with baked goods.”
You opened the door a crack just in time to see him walking away down the hall, hoodie pulled up, hands shoved into his pockets like he wasn’t holding his breath too.
On the floor, in front of your door, was a small brown bag. The smell of warm sugar and cinnamon leaked through.
No note. No pressure.
Just muffins.
Just Wooyoung.
You didn’t call after him. But you picked up the bag and held it close, something in your chest trembling with the gentleness of it all.
And for the first time in a long while, you didn’t feel like running.
Later that night, the muffins sat on your desk — one half-eaten, the others untouched, like maybe if you didn’t finish them, the moment wouldn’t end.
You stared at your phone screen, thumb hovering over the keyboard. The soft light of your desk lamp cast a pale circle around you, everything else fading into a blur of shadows. The world outside your dorm was silent. Even Hyojin was asleep now, curled under a mountain of blankets.
And still, you couldn’t stop thinking about him. About them.
You opened your messages, fingers hesitating before typing:
Y/N
You didn’t have to do that. But… thank you. They were really good. My favorite, actually. I don’t hate you. Or San. I’m just… scared. Of what this means. Of what I might become if I let myself want it.
You paused.
Deleted the last line.
Rewrote it.
Y/N
I think I’m afraid that if I fall for you — both of you — I won’t know how to be myself anymore.
Your throat tightened.
You stared at the message, reread it once, twice. Your thumb hovered over the send button, a storm of emotion brimming just under your skin.
Then you locked your phone and set it face down.
It wasn’t time. Not yet.
But maybe soon.
Maybe tomorrow.
You curled up under your blanket, heart still buzzing from the echo of Wooyoung’s quiet kindness and San’s patient silence.
And even though the message remained unsent, for the first time… you thought about what it would feel like to stop being afraid.
---
San couldn’t sleep.
He lay in bed, one arm draped across his eyes, the other resting on his chest — right over the thread that hummed beneath his skin. It never stopped. Not since that day.
The moment it lit up — glowing bright red between him, Wooyoung, and you — something in him had shifted. Not like flipping a switch. More like discovering a second heartbeat he didn’t know he had.
And then you ran.
He didn’t blame you. Not really.
But the silence since then had been a strange kind of ache. Not sharp. Just there — constant, quiet, heavy. Like waiting for a storm that might never come, only clouds.
Wooyoung had tried to fill the space between you with light. San tried to respect the space at all.
But every day that passed, he caught himself watching doorways, scanning lecture halls, hoping for a glimpse. Hoping you'd look at them again the way you did, just before you fled — like your soul recognized something your fear wouldn’t let you reach for.
His phone buzzed on the nightstand.
He reached for it instinctively — the thread always made him hope.
Nothing. Just a group chat notification. Someone sending memes. Wooyoung, probably.
He glanced at your name in his messages. Still unopened. Still unread.
Still… nothing.
San sat up, feet touching the cold floor. His wrist glowed softly in the dark, casting a faint red light across his palm.
He whispered, to no one, to maybe you, “I’d wait forever, if that’s what you need.”
Because it wasn’t about the thread.
It was about you. Choosing him. Choosing them.
And until then, he’d keep the space open. Quiet. Gentle.
Ready.
---
The café was already buzzing with early morning energy — espresso machines hissing, students half-awake and wrapped in hoodies and oversized scarves, soft indie music playing through the speakers. You stood in line, rubbing the sleep from your eyes, scrolling through your notes to mentally prep for your first class.
Then it hit you.
That now-familiar jolt. Not harsh, but unmistakable — a spark beneath your skin, dancing along the glowing thread.
You didn’t even have to look to know who it was.
Still, you did — and there he was. San, standing just a few people behind you, hair messy from sleep and hoodie half-zipped like he’d just rolled out of bed and sprinted here.
Your breath caught.
You turned quickly, tugging your own hoodie up over your head and shrinking a little into yourself, silently pleading with the universe to let him not see you.
But the universe had other plans.
“Hey! Y/N.” His voice was bright, but not too loud. Casual. Like this was just any morning, any moment. “Let me get that for you.”
You turned halfway, offering him a sheepish smile, one hand wrapped around your phone like a lifeline.
“It’s okay, really. You don’t have to—”
“I want to,” he said, already stepping forward and tapping his card before you could protest again. “Consider it as my apology for scaring you yesterday after class.”
You blinked. “That wasn’t me being scared.” You lied.
He shrugged, a small grin tugging at the corners of his mouth. “Still. I figured coffee would be a safer follow-up.”
You glanced at him, searching for any signs of pressure, of expectation — but there was none. Just San. Open. Easy. Real.
“Thanks,” you said quietly, shifting your weight as the barista called out your name.
“For both?” he asked.
You nodded. “Mine and Hyojin’s. She’ll appreciate it.”
He smiled wider, but not in a flirty way — more like someone genuinely happy just to do something kind for someone they cared about.
As you reached for the drinks, your fingers brushed his — just for a second — and the thread pulsed gently between you.
You didn’t run this time.
And San didn’t comment on it. Didn’t ask for anything more.
He just said, “Hope your morning’s a little better now,” then stepped aside with a soft wave, giving you space to leave first.
And somehow, that simple act made your heart ache more than any grand gesture ever could.
You rushed back to the dorm in a hurried shuffle.
Hyojin was still wrapped in her blanket like a sleepy burrito when you returned, the TV already playing reruns of some old sitcom she liked to put on in the mornings — just enough background noise to keep things from feeling too quiet.
You handed her the coffee.
She sat up immediately, eyes narrowing as she took the cup from your hands. “Wait… you didn’t buy this.”
You blinked, trying to play innocent. “What makes you say that?”
She gave you a look over the rim of her cup. “Because you always get the oat milk latte when you’re paying. This is almond milk. That’s a San move.”
You sighed, sinking into the beanbag chair across from her.
“…He was at the café.”
“And he paid?” she asked, eyebrows rising. “And you didn’t sprint out the door like someone lit your thread on fire?”
You threw a pillow at her. “It wasn’t like that.”
She laughed, catching the pillow and hugging it to her chest. “Okay, so tell me — what was it like, then?”
You hesitated. Chewed the inside of your cheek. The words felt fragile, like they might shatter if you spoke them too fast.
“It was… calm,” you said finally. “He saw me. Didn’t make a big deal. Just… offered to pay. No weird comments. No guilt-tripping. No soulmate speech.”
Hyojin nodded slowly, sipping her coffee like she was giving you space to unravel it all.
“And you know what’s weird?” you added, softer now. “It felt normal. Like we were just two people… being nice to each other. Not fate. Not pressure. Just—”
“San being San,” she finished for you.
You nodded, thumb running along the rim of your coffee cup.
“And… I didn’t run. I wanted to. At first. But then he smiled, and it wasn’t… intense or hopeful or anything dramatic. Just real. And I guess… I wanted to stay in that moment a little longer.”
Hyojin smiled gently, eyes warm. “That’s not nothing, Y/N.”
You nodded, a small flicker of something brave flickering in your chest.
“It’s not everything yet,” you whispered. “But maybe it’s a start.”
---
The smell of sizzling eggs and butter filled the dorm, warm and familiar. Wooyoung stood at the stove in a pair of sweatpants and an oversized t-shirt, humming quietly as he flipped pancakes with practiced ease.
The door opened behind him with a soft click.
San stepped in, cheeks slightly pink from the cold outside — or maybe from something else.
"Smells good," he said, dropping his bag by the couch.
Wooyoung glanced over his shoulder. “Got up early. Figured we could use a proper breakfast for once instead of vending machine muffins.”
San chuckled, toeing off his shoes. “You’re turning domestic on me.”
“I’m adorable like that,” Wooyoung said with a wink, flipping another pancake onto a plate. “So? Where were you this early?”
San leaned against the counter, eyes twinkling.
“I don’t want to make it sound like a competition,” he started, a teasing lilt to his voice, “but I had a nice meeting with Y/N.”
Wooyoung froze mid-motion, spatula hovering in the air. His head turned slowly, eyes wide.
“You what?”
San grinned, clearly enjoying himself. “Ran into her by the cafe. She was alone. Didn’t bolt. We talked for a few minutes.”
Wooyoung put the spatula down a little too carefully.
“Was she… okay? Was she scared? Did she look like she wanted to leave? Did you freak her out?”
San laughed under his breath, shaking his head. “No. She was actually calm. Quiet, but not closed off. And…” He looked down, ears reddening slightly. “She was… cute.”
That made Wooyoung pause. Really pause.
He leaned back against the counter, hands resting on the edge as he stared down at the stove, lips pressed together. “I wish I’d been there.”
San glanced over at him, his smile softening. “You kind of were.”
Wooyoung looked up.
“She mentioned the muffins,” San said gently.
Wooyoung exhaled slowly, the tension in his shoulders easing just a little.
“I don’t want her to feel chased,” he said quietly. “I just… I miss her. And we barely even had her yet.”
San reached out, nudging Wooyoung’s arm.
“She’s not gone. She’s just… figuring it out. You were patient with me. You can be patient with her too.”
Wooyoung smiled at that — tired, but genuine.
“Yeah,” he murmured. “For her? I can wait.”
And as he plated the last pancake and set the table for two, something in his chest settled. Because maybe slow was okay. Maybe slow was exactly what you needed.
---
Class had just ended, and students spilled out of the lecture hall like a slow-moving tide of tired bodies and caffeine breath. You adjusted your backpack, hoping to make a quiet escape down the side hallway—until you felt that buzz again.
The thread. Alive. Warm. And pulling in two directions at once.
You looked up and froze.
Wooyoung was leaning against one wall, arms crossed, eyes lighting up the moment he saw you.
San was on the opposite wall, perfectly still, casually scrolling through his phone like he wasn’t clearly waiting for you, too.
You blinked.
They blinked.
Then both pushed off the wall at the same time.
“Y/N! I was just about to head to the café. Wanna walk with me?” Wooyoung beamed, already taking a half-step toward you.
San cleared his throat softly, slipping his phone into his pocket. “Actually, I was going to check out that new study space in the greenhouse. Thought you might like it.”
You stared at them.
They stared at each other.
Then back at you.
It was obvious what was happening. And it was also very obvious they hadn’t coordinated this.
Wooyoung smiled a little too wide. “You can’t even study with plants, San. What is she gonna do, photosynthesize her notes?”
San, calm as ever, didn’t even blink. “Some people find greenery relaxing. Unlike… a loud café full of undercooked croissants and overconfident baristas.”
“That barista was flirting with me,” Wooyoung shot back.
“Exactly,” San said.
You raised both hands, barely hiding your laugh. “Okay, okay, please stop fighting with each other in front of the academic building like I’m the final boss.”
They both quieted instantly. Then Wooyoung scratched the back of his neck and mumbled, “We just… wanted to hang out with you. Not in a weird way. Not in a ‘soulmate pressure’ way. Just… you.”
San nodded. “We can walk you somewhere. Or nowhere. Or just… exist near you for a bit.”
You looked at them — standing there, trying so hard to not try too hard.
And it hit you again: they weren’t asking you to choose. They were just trying to be close. To be present. To be themselves around you, and hope you’d let yourself do the same.
“…Come on,” you said softly, starting to walk. “You can both walk with me. But no more competing, got it?”
Wooyoung grinned. “Define ‘competing.’”
San sighed. “He’s already losing.”
And just like that, the tension melted into something warmer, easier.
You didn’t say much as you walked between them — not yet — but you didn’t run either.
And for them, that was already a win.
The three of you walked along the tree-lined path that cut through campus, leaves crunching softly underfoot. The air smelled like autumn and coffee, and for once, the thread around your wrist wasn’t overwhelming — just a soft, steady pulse. Like background music you didn’t mind anymore.
Wooyoung was rambling about some club’s haunted house fundraiser — complete with inflatable ghosts and “jump scares that would definitely make San scream.”
You smiled, listening but not saying much. It was easy to let his voice fill the space, to let it feel normal.
Then there was a pause. Just long enough to be noticeable.
You glanced to your left. San had fallen a few steps behind, hands in his pockets, gaze distant. Thoughtful.
Wooyoung slowed too, looking back. “Hey, you good?”
San looked up and gave a small nod. “Yeah. Just thinking.”
“Dangerous,” Wooyoung joked, nudging him lightly.
But San didn’t laugh. Not this time.
“I’ve been wondering,” he said softly, eyes still on the path ahead, “if maybe the reason soulmates exist… isn’t to force people together. But to remind them they can be seen.”
You stopped walking. Slowly.
So did Wooyoung.
San finally looked at you.
“Not just loved,” he added, “but… understood. The way you think no one ever will. That kind of scary, messy, real understanding.”
His voice didn’t waver, but something in it was raw. Honest.
“And I think…” He exhaled, gaze dropping for a moment. “That maybe you’re scared of the bond because it already feels like we see you. And that’s terrifying when you’ve spent so long trying to keep certain parts hidden.”
Your breath caught.
Wooyoung was unusually quiet beside you.
San didn’t step closer, didn’t reach out. He just stood there, his own thread glowing faintly against the falling dusk light, as if saying — I see you, and I’m still here.
“I’m sorry if that’s too much,” he added softly.
You shook your head, your voice low. “It’s not.”
It was everything.
And though you didn’t say another word the rest of the walk, something shifted. Not in the bond.
In you.
---
You sat on your bed, legs crossed under you, hoodie still on like a shield even though the room was warm.
Hyojin was at her desk, scribbling notes half-heartedly until she noticed you hadn’t said much since you got back. She turned in her chair, watching you over the top of her laptop with that familiar “I know something’s up” expression.
“You okay?” she asked gently.
You didn’t answer right away.
Instead, you pulled your legs in tighter and rested your chin on your knees. “San said something earlier.”
That got her full attention. “Oh?”
You nodded; eyes fixed on a spot on the floor.
“He said…” You took a breath. “That maybe soulmates aren’t about forcing people together. That maybe they’re just about showing someone they can actually be seen. Not just loved but understood.”
Hyojin didn’t speak, waiting patiently like she always did when you needed time to untangle your thoughts.
“And he said he thought maybe I was scared because I already felt like they saw me.” You paused. “And he’s right.”
The room was quiet, save for the distant hum of a dorm heater.
You finally looked up at her, your voice quieter now. “I didn’t think anyone ever really could see me. I got used to keeping the real stuff hidden. Even from you sometimes.”
Hyojin didn’t flinch. She just stood up, walked over, and sat on the edge of your bed, nudging your foot with hers.
“You don’t have to be scared of being seen, Y/N. Not with them. Not with me. But it’s okay if you still are.”
You blinked fast, feeling your throat tighten.
“I didn’t run today,” you whispered.
Hyojin smiled softly. “I know.”
“And it didn’t feel like the world was ending. Just… heavy.”
She leaned over and rested her head on your shoulder. “That’s how you know it’s real.”
You didn’t say anything else. You didn’t need to.
But for the first time in a long time, you didn’t feel like you had to hide from the weight of being known.
---
It was later in the week when it happened.
You had a late class that let out just after sunset, and the campus was quiet in that sleepy kind of way — golden lights flickering on, students trailing back to their dorms with earbuds in and backpacks slung low.
You didn’t expect to see him there.
Wooyoung, sitting alone on one of the benches near the fountain outside the arts building, hoodie pulled over his head, earbuds dangling around his neck. A takeout container sat next to him, mostly untouched.
He looked up when he heard your footsteps — and when he saw it was you, he smiled.
Not the usual bright Wooyoung grin. This one was softer. Tired.
You almost walked past him. Almost.
But something in you stopped. Turned. Sat beside him, even though your heart thudded a little too loudly in your chest.
He didn’t say anything at first.
Neither did you.
Just the sound of the fountain and the wind brushing through the trees.
Then, finally—
“I always thought being soulmates with someone would fix something in me,” Wooyoung said quietly, gaze fixed on the water.
You looked at him, surprised by the weight in his voice.
“But it didn’t. You showed up, and everything still felt… confusing. Unfinished. Scary, even.”
He rubbed his thumb over the glowing thread on his wrist, the light faint but constant. “And I realized, maybe soulmates don’t fix you. Maybe they just… stand next to the broken parts and say, ‘I still want you anyway.’”
You felt your breath catch.
“I don’t want you to love me because you’re meant to,” he went on, voice barely above a whisper. “I want you to love me because one day you choose to. Because you look at me and San, and you don’t see a bond — you see us. Messy, flawed, ridiculous… but real.”
He finally turned to you, eyes soft and so achingly open, like he wasn’t afraid of you seeing the cracks.
“And if that day never comes… I’ll still be glad I met you. I’ll still think you’re brave for even sitting here right now.”
His voice caught at the end, just slightly — enough to make your chest tighten.
For a heartbeat, it looked like he might cry.
But then he smiled. Just barely. A little sad, a little accepting. And when he spoke again, it was quieter, almost like it wasn’t meant for you to hear — like it was something he’d already accepted in the quietest parts of his heart.
“Even if you end up finding someone else… I will still think about this.”
You didn’t know what to say. Words felt too small for the weight of what he’d just given you — something so gentle, and yet so devastating.
You didn’t speak.
You reached out instead — hand brushing his, fingers trembling — and laced your pinky with his.
He looked down at the touch. Then back at you.
And for once, he didn’t try to fill the silence with words or jokes.
He just held on.
---
The sky was bruised with early morning light when you found yourself in the greenhouse.
You weren’t sure what pulled you there — maybe San’s voice echoing in your head from days ago, maybe the part of you that couldn’t stop thinking about the way Wooyoung had looked at you like he was letting you go just to make you feel free.
Maybe you were tired of being afraid.
The glass walls let in soft gold light, and the air smelled of damp earth and something alive. The space was quiet, warm. Peaceful.
San sat near the back, legs crossed beneath him on a bench, a book in his lap. He didn’t look surprised when you entered — like maybe he already knew you were coming.
You stood awkwardly for a moment before stepping closer.
“I didn’t come to study,” you said.
He smiled faintly, setting the book aside. “I didn’t either.”
You sat across from him, the little table between you filled with scattered pages, succulents, and a small ceramic frog someone had left there weeks ago.
For a long time, you just looked at each other.
Then you spoke.
“Wooyoung told me he’d be okay if I didn’t choose you both,” you whispered. “Said he’d still be grateful. Even if I found someone else.”
San’s brows furrowed slightly, his jaw tightening, but not with anger — with emotion.
“I think that broke my heart a little,” you admitted, voice shaking. “Because… he meant it.”
San nodded, slow and steady. “He did.”
You took a breath. It felt heavier than it should have. “I didn’t realize… how much love can look like letting go.”
San leaned forward, arms resting on the table, voice low. “That’s what makes it real. Not just the bond. Not fate. Choice.”
You looked at him, and this time, you didn’t shy away from his gaze.
“I’m scared that if I let you both in… you’ll see all the parts I’ve tried so hard to keep hidden. And you’ll love me anyway. And then I won’t know who I am without that love.”
San’s eyes softened, his expression still and grounding — like he was holding space for you without trying to fix you.
“Y/N,” he said gently, “loving someone doesn’t erase who they are. It just gives them more room to be.”
You stared at him for a moment. “How are you so calm about this?”
His lips curved into the faintest smile. “I’m not. I’ve just spent more time thinking about you than my fear.”
You looked away, overwhelmed.
But then you felt it — his hand, reaching out across the table, palm open. Not grabbing. Just waiting.
You didn’t think.
You placed your hand in his.
Warm.
Steady.
No pressure.
Just San.
And for the first time, you thought: maybe I can do this.
---
It started with a text.
San: We’re heading to get icecream in a bit. You’re welcome to join. No pressure. We’ll be at the parlor by the cafe.
It wasn’t a question. It wasn’t a plea.
It was just… an open door.
You stared at the message longer than you needed to. Then you packed your bag and left before you could talk yourself out of it.
The icecream parlor was quiet — all hushed voices, the occasional sounds of the freezer running, and late-afternoon sun filtering in through tall windows. It cast a warm glow across the marbled tables and wooden floor, soft enough to make it feel like a different world.
Wooyoung looked up first when you approached.
He didn’t react dramatically — no wide smile, no flirty comment, just a soft blink of surprise followed by a warm, quiet grin. The kind that said you’re here without a single word.
San gave a small nod, already clearing a spot at the table between them.
You sat.
No one spoke for a while. Not in the way that felt awkward — in the way that felt comfortable.
San was already with you eating icecream as Wooyoung was ordering his.
You looked at them once Wooyoung sat down, San offered to pay for yours as a "Thank you for letting us take you here" gift.
At one point, Wooyoung offered you a bite of his icecream. San rolled his eyes thinking he was trying too hard. You glanced at both of them, your chest tightening a little — not with fear this time, but with something warmer.
There were no dramatic declarations. No glowing threads buzzing like sirens. Just the gentle presence of two people who wanted you close, even if it meant sitting in silence.
And somewhere in the middle of that quiet, you realized:
This — this space, this peace — was its own kind of love.
You didn’t say anything.
But you stayed.
And that, for now, was more than enough.
---
The walk back to your dorm was… peaceful.
Wooyoung talked about some ridiculous online quiz he took that said he was a golden retriever (he wasn’t even mad — just proud), while San chimed in occasionally with dry remarks that made both of you laugh harder than necessary. The thread around your wrist pulsed gently with their presence, but not in a demanding way — just there, like a heartbeat.
No fighting. No forcing. No fear.
Just three people walking home under the orange glow of streetlights.
When you reached your building, they didn’t linger.
“Thanks for coming today,” San said softly, his hands tucked into his jacket pockets.
“Yeah,” Wooyoung added, leaning back on his heels. “You have no idea how much that meant to us.”
You smiled. “It meant something to me too.”
You didn’t have to say more than that.
They nodded, like they understood.
Inside the dorm, you barely had the door shut behind you before Hyojin popped up from the couch, eyes wide with anticipation.
“You’re glowing,” she said instantly, pointing at you. “Suspiciously.”
You rolled your eyes and kicked off your shoes. “I was literally just studying.” You lied. You were technically already on a first date with them eating Icecream.
“With two soulmates who are in love with you,” she sang, wiggling her eyebrows. “Don’t play coy with me. I’m emotionally invested in this fanfiction of a life you’re living.”
You laughed, a little breathless, a little tired.
“I’m serious though,” she said, walking into the kitchenette. “You need a change of scenery. Some dopamine. Some dancing. Good timing — Yunho and Yeosang are throwing a party tomorrow night. You’re coming.”
You blinked. “Yunho and Yeosang?”
“Yep.” She tossed you a granola bar. “One’s an extrovert golden retriever in human form — basically Wooyoung but louder — and the other’s a soft-spoken intellectual who wears sweaters even when it’s 90 degrees. He literally pulls Yunho away from dance circles by his collar.”
“…So, you and me, but more chaotic.”
“Exactly,” she grinned. “Yunho’s been asking if I’d bring you around anyway. Says Yeosang needs new people to judge quietly.”
You gave her a look.
“Come on,” she said, flopping onto the couch again. “You’ve spent weeks hiding. You deserve one night of music, weird drinks, and watching some guys do the worm badly on a hardwood floor.”
You hesitated.
And then… nodded.
“Okay,” you said. “Let’s go to a party.”
Hyojin beamed. “Hell yeah.”
---
The music was way louder than you expected.
As soon as you stepped into the off-campus house, the bass hit you in the chest like a second heartbeat. Lights glowed warm and golden, laughter spilled from the kitchen, and someone had already spilled something sticky on the floor by the entryway — probably juice, possibly regret.
Hyojin tugged your wrist. “Okay, rules,” she shouted over the music. “Don’t drink the neon stuff. Don’t make eye contact with anyone doing interpretive dance. And if Yunho challenges you to karaoke — run.”
You laughed, nerves dissolving into adrenaline.
That’s when he appeared.
Yunho, tall and glowing like someone physically made of sunshine and Red Bull, bounded toward you both with open arms. “HYOJIN! You brought your mysterious roommate!”
“She’s not mysterious,” Hyojin shouted back. “She’s emotionally complicated!”
You gave a weak wave. “Hi.”
Yunho spun dramatically and pointed to the guy standing stiffly behind him, sipping from a plain paper cup like he didn’t want to be perceived.
“And this is Yeosang. He hates this.”
Yeosang gave you a polite nod and a “hello” so soft it nearly got swallowed by the music.
“I don’t hate this,” he muttered. “I’m simply observing this social chaos with anthropological detachment.”
“I once caught him reading Plato in a hot tub,” Yunho said proudly, already turning away like he hadn’t just exposed Yeosang’s deepest philosophical sins.
Yeosang stared ahead, expression perfectly blank, save for the smallest twitch of his eye. “…He tells everyone that.”
You tried — tried — not to laugh, but it slipped out anyway.
Before either of you could recover, Yunho took off like a rocket across the crowded living room, yelling, “Mingi!” like it was both a greeting and a battle cry.
Your eyes followed him just in time to see him tackle a very surprised — but delighted — Mingi onto the floor. The two of them dissolved into uncontrollable laughter, limbs flailing as people parted around them like it was normal for grown men to recreate WWE in the middle of a house party.
You glanced sideways at Yeosang, who hadn’t moved an inch, his cup still delicately held in one hand as he watched his best friend roll around on the hardwood floor.
“…Is he?” you asked, eyebrows raised.
Yeosang sipped his water like it was a fine wine, voice deadpan. “Drunk? Yes.”
You snorted, covering your mouth as a laugh slipped out.
Yeosang’s lips quirked, just slightly. “He gets like this when he’s happy. Or when he’s had anything mixed with blue raspberry.”
“Both, then?”
“Undoubtedly.”
The two of you stood there, quietly united in mutual secondhand embarrassment, watching Mingi attempt to pin Yunho while yelling, “SURRENDER TO YOUR DESTINY.”
You leaned in slightly. “Should we… help?”
Yeosang took another sip. “No. They’d just drag us into it.”
You nodded. “Smart man.”
For a moment, the party seemed to blur in the background — too loud, too fast — but right there, beside Yeosang and his cup of water, everything felt still. Safe. Strangely comforting.
And then a voice called from behind you—
“Y/N! San’s about to lose at flip cup, come watch!”
Wooyoung, of course.
Yeosang sighed lightly. “Good luck.”
You smirked. “Want to come?”
He shook his head. “I’m the designated plant guardian tonight. Someone has to keep the fern alive.”
You left him to it, weaving through the chaos toward the rest of the night — but not without glancing back and seeing Yeosang gently move a party cup away from the fern like it was sacred.
You were definitely coming back to talk to him later.
You didn’t mean to start a conversation with the guy in the flannel.
He’d bumped into you near the kitchen, offered a quick apology, and then started chatting about the playlist. He was funny. Not in a flirty, overbearing way — just easy to talk to. You weren’t thinking about anything beyond the song and the shared complaint about how warm the room had gotten.
But across the room, Wooyoung saw it happen.
He’d just returned from cheering San on in an incredibly one-sided flip cup match (San was losing. With dignity.), when he spotted you near the counter, laughing softly as Flannel Guy leaned in a little closer — just a little — to say something in your ear.
Wooyoung paused mid-step, the grin on his face faltering for half a second.
He wasn’t angry.
But something in his chest tightened.
He knew — he knew — you weren’t his. Not in the possessive way. Not in the way soulmates get written in stories, where the bond means instant belonging. That wasn’t how he saw you.
But he also knew how hard you’d worked to be open. How slowly you’d let your walls down. How every glance, every conversation, every inch of closeness with him and San had been earned with time, not thread.
And now Flannel Guy was standing too close, and you were smiling in that soft, slightly shy way Wooyoung had come to treasure like a secret.
San appeared beside him, holding two drinks. He followed Wooyoung’s line of sight, instantly zeroing in.
“That him?” he asked, tone even but eyes sharp.
“Who?”
“The guy you’re absolutely not staring at like he’s a threat to your entire bloodline.”
Wooyoung blinked, then snorted. “Okay, dramatic.”
San handed him one of the drinks. “You are going over there?”
“Nope,” he said quickly, then added, “Yes.”
He didn’t storm across the room. Didn’t interrupt.
Just appeared next to you, sliding into the space beside you with practiced ease, that trademark Wooyoung smile back in place — charming, casual, just a little too bright.
“Hey,” he said, nudging your arm. “You vanished. Thought maybe you were pulled into a karaoke cult.”
You looked up, surprised. “I was just—”
“Talking about the playlist,” Flannel Guy offered, clearly catching the shift but trying to play it cool. “You’re her friend?”
Wooyoung glanced at you, then back at him. “You could say that.”
The guy nodded, but the energy had shifted. You could feel it — subtle, but unmistakable.
Flannel Guy made a polite exit a moment later, something about checking on his friends, and you turned to Wooyoung with a lifted brow.
“You, okay?”
Wooyoung shrugged, sipping his drink. “Fine. Just… don’t want you getting stuck talking to a guy who thinks ‘early Drake’ is a personality.”
You raised a brow, amused. “That’s a very specific accusation.”
“I know his kind,” he said seriously. “They carry acoustic guitars to bonfires.”
You laughed — but you didn’t move away.
And Wooyoung smiled at that.
Just a little.
The party had started to wind down.
The music was still thumping, but slower now, more background than center stage. People drifted toward couches, clustered in corners, or disappeared into late-night walks and whispered laughter.
You found Wooyoung and San on the back patio — Wooyoung perched on the arm of a bench, San leaning against the railing, both of them quiet in that familiar way they got when the world slowed down around them.
They looked up when you stepped outside, your expression unreadable.
“Hey,” you said softly. “Can I talk to you both for a second?”
Wooyoung blinked, then stood up straighter. San gave a small nod, eyes steady on you.
You walked past them, to the far end of the patio where the light didn’t quite reach — private, but not dramatic. They followed, like they would’ve gone anywhere you asked.
You turned to face them, heart hammering in your chest.
“I need to say something,” you began, voice quiet but sure. “And I don’t know if it’s going to come out perfectly, but…”
You exhaled, looking between the two of them.
“I see you. Both of you.”
They didn’t speak — didn’t move — but something in their eyes softened.
“I see the way you’ve been holding back. The way you’ve waited for me to be ready. How you’ve never pushed. How you’ve been patient and kind and just… here.”
You looked down for a second, then back up, meeting San’s gaze first.
“You listen more than you speak. You give space even when it probably hurts to. You look at me like I’m already enough, even when I’m not sure I believe it myself.”
Then to Wooyoung.
“You make everything feel lighter. You make me laugh even when I don’t want to. And even when you’re hurting, you still show up like you’re the one trying to make me feel safe.”
Wooyoung’s lips parted, a quiet breath catching in his throat.
“I know this bond is supposed to mean something,” you continued. “But you two are the ones who made it feel real. Not fate. You.”
They were both completely still now — not out of shock, but because they didn’t want to break the moment.
“I’m scared. I’m still scared,” you admitted, voice cracking just a little. “But not of you. Not anymore. I think I’ve just been scared of being loved the right way. Of being known.”
You let the silence sit for a second.
And then: “But I think I’m ready to stop running.”
Wooyoung was the first to speak — barely above a whisper. “You don’t have to jump in all at once. We’re not going anywhere.”
San stepped closer, not touching you, but close enough that you could feel the steady calm of his presence. “We’ll meet you wherever you are.”
You nodded slowly; eyes misty.
And then — for the first time — you reached out, you bridged the gap.
You took both of their hands.
One in each of yours.
And when the threads pulsed between all three of you, soft and steady, no one flinched.
---
The dorm was quiet when you got back.
Hyojin had left a note on the whiteboard stuck to the door: “Crashing at a friend. Try not to emotionally combust without me. 💖”
You smiled faintly as you slipped inside, flipping on the little lamp near your desk. The overhead lights stayed off — too harsh for how full your chest already felt.
Wooyoung and San followed behind you, quieter than usual, the kind of quiet that wasn’t awkward or heavy, just… comfortable. Familiar. Like the air after a storm.
You dropped your bag and kicked off your shoes, curling up on the edge of your bed as they settled in, like they’d done it a hundred times before.
Wooyoung sat cross-legged on the floor beside your bed, chin resting on the edge of the mattress. San leaned back in your desk chair, spinning slowly, rhythmically, his gaze soft as it drifted between the two of you.
No one spoke for a while.
And it was nice.
Eventually, Wooyoung broke the silence. “I missed this,” he said, voice low, like anything louder might shatter it.
You looked at him. “We didn’t really have this yet.”
He smiled. “Still missed it.”
San added quietly, “This is the first time we’ve all felt… aligned. Together. Without fear between us.”
You nodded slowly, pulling your knees to your chest.
There was no grand gesture. No dramatic music. Just the three of you sitting in the soft haze of a new beginning.
Eventually, Wooyoung nudged your leg with his elbow. “Can I—?”
You didn’t let him finish.
You reached down and laced your fingers through his.
At the same time, San stood and walked over, crouching beside the bed on your other side. You held your free hand up, and he took it without hesitation.
And just like that — the three of you, linked quietly, hearts in sync — you sat there in the dim dorm light.
No pressure.
No fear.
Just a beginning that felt soft. Safe. Real.
And for the first time in a long time, you didn’t feel like you had to run from it.
San turned toward you gently, his hand still holding yours — grounding, warm, sure. You met his gaze, and something inside you melted at the way he was looking at you. Like you were something sacred. Like he couldn’t believe he got to be this close.
You took a breath, your heart fluttering like soft wings in your chest.
Then, without thinking — no overanalyzing, no running — you leaned in.
And San met you halfway.
The kiss was soft. Careful. Like he was afraid to break you. But underneath that caution was something deeper — a longing that made your fingers tighten just slightly around his.
You felt him breathe against you.
He kissed you again — deeper this time, like he didn’t want to stop, like he couldn’t believe this was real.
And you let him.
You wanted to.
San’s heart was beating so fast you could almost feel the rhythm through his skin, like it was trying to leap out of his chest and into yours.
Then—
A very dramatic throat-clear.
“Okay, my turn,” Wooyoung announced, tapping San’s shoulder like he was cutting in at a dance.
San broke the kiss slowly, his face flushed and dazed, as he turned to look at his best friend.
“You’re seriously—”
Wooyoung was already leaning in, eyes twinkling but filled with something sincere behind the playfulness. “It’s only fair.”
You turned your head toward him, and before you could say anything, he kissed you too — but not the same.
Where San had been slow and steady, Wooyoung was soft and sweet and just a little smug about finally getting his moment. His hand gently cupped your cheek, his lips brushing yours like he’d dreamed of it but never dared to rush it.
He pulled back just enough to whisper, “Worth the wait.”
You blinked, breath catching in your throat.
And then San — who still hadn’t let go of your hand — leaned his head against your shoulder with a deep sigh.
“I hate how smooth he is sometimes,” he muttered.
You laughed, tears stinging the corners of your eyes from the overwhelming warmth, the safety, the sheer realness of it all.
You didn’t know what tomorrow would bring.
But right here, in the quiet warmth of your dorm, with both of them beside you — one grounded, one glowing, both yours — you knew one thing for sure:
You weren’t afraid anymore.
You leaned down in bed with them as they both held you in their arms from opposite sides.
---
The sunlight slipped through the blinds, golden and slow, warming the room just enough to make getting up feel illegal.
You were barely conscious, your face smushed into a pillow, your body tangled between limbs that weren’t entirely your own. One of San’s arms was looped around your waist, his breath soft against the back of your neck. Wooyoung’s legs were thrown over both of yours like he’d lost a battle with gravity sometime during the night and just made peace with it.
There was a quiet creak — the door opening.
“Morninggg—” Hyojin’s voice cut off mid-yawn, followed by a beat of silence.
You blinked slowly, groggily lifting your head and squinting at her like a confused meerkat peeking out of a blanket nest.
Hyojin’s lips curled into a dangerous smirk.
“Well, well, well,” she said, arms crossed. “Looks like Y/N got herself a whole cat harem.”
You opened your mouth to respond, but all that came out was a muffled, exhausted noise.
San groaned softly behind you, pulling the blanket higher over all of you without even opening his eyes. Wooyoung cracked one eye open, saw Hyojin, and mumbled, “This isn’t a harem. It’s a heat-efficient cuddle pod.”
Hyojin snorted. “Sure, okay. Let me know when you start charging admission.”
And with that, she shut the door with a cackle, disappearing down the hall like the menace she was.
You let your head drop back onto the pillow, caught somewhere between embarrassment and the warm, sleepy contentment of knowing you were exactly where you were supposed to be.
San hummed softly. “Did she say cat harem?”
“Don’t ask,” you mumbled.
Wooyoung shifted, nestling his face into the crook of your shoulder. “We should’ve locked the door.”
“Next time,” you sighed.
Neither of them moved.
Neither did you.
Because honestly? It was kind of the perfect morning.
The day started simple enough.
You'd suggested brunch. Wooyoung had offered to cook. San immediately declared he would supervise, which actually meant doing absolutely nothing useful. Hyojin, coffee mug in hand, sat on the counter like a queen surveying her kingdom of idiots.
“What are you making again?” you asked, tying your hair up and peeking into the fridge.
“Kimchi fried rice, soft scrambled eggs, and maybe some pancakes,” San replied, already slicing scallions with precision.
“Wow,” Hyojin said, sipping her coffee. “You’re really out here being a better partner than half the men on this campus.”
Wooyoung spun dramatically toward her. “Excuse you, I am also contributing.”
“To the chaos,” San muttered without looking up.
Wooyoung gasped. “I am the heart of this kitchen! The ambience! The charisma! The—”
“You’re the reason we’re out of clean spatulas,” you pointed out, holding up the one he used last night to “mix” instant ramen seasoning directly in the bag.
He winked. “Innovative, not destructive.”
You rolled your eyes.
Meanwhile, Wooyoung was trying to focus, but San kept stealing bites of the chopped kimchi and turning up the volume on his “Cooking with Soulmates” playlist, which currently featured 2000s boy bands and at least one anime opening.
“San,” Wooyoung said patiently, “please stop dancing while I’m using a knife.”
“You can’t stop the rhythm, bro.”
You laughed as Wooyoung gave you a look like, see what I deal with?
Then—sizzle, pop, clatter.
San had turned too fast and knocked a bowl of eggs onto the floor.
“Oops.”
Wooyoung dropped his head onto the counter.
Hyojin didn’t even blink. “There it is. I was wondering when chaos would strike.”
Wooyoung crouched down to clean it up with a dramatic sigh. “I’m too pretty for this world.”
“Too clumsy, you mean,” you said, grabbing paper towels and helping.
Despite the mess, laughter kept bubbling up. The apartment was full of it — warm, genuine, the kind that made you forget about everything else. By the time the food was finally plated (only slightly delayed by Wooyoung burning one pancake into a hockey puck), the four of you were crowded around the table, mismatched mugs and all.
San looked over at you, smile soft.
“You good?”
You nodded, already reaching for your chopsticks. “Yeah. I’m really good.”
And as you listened to Hyojin roast Wooyoung for the third time that morning while he fake-cried into his orange juice, and San calmly ignored them both while handing you the best parts of the kimchi rice—
You realized this was your new normal.
And you wouldn’t trade it for anything.
---
It happened on a Tuesday.
The kind of Tuesday where the sky was impossibly blue, students were sprawled out on the quad like sleepy cats in the sun, and the stress of midterms hung just slightly less heavy in the air because someone was handing out free donuts by the library steps.
You’d just finished your psych lecture, notebook tucked under your arm, earbuds half-in. San had texted to say he and Wooyoung were waiting for you by the big tree near the fountain — the one you always ended up circling like a moth on days you didn’t want to head straight to class.
You spotted them instantly.
San, legs crossed in the grass, flipping through his annotated copy of something you definitely weren’t going to read unless threatened. Wooyoung, lying flat on his back beside him, sunglasses on, hoodie hiked up just enough to show the thread on his wrist glowing warm in the daylight.
When you approached, Wooyoung sat up. “There’s the smartest person in our polycule.”
“We’re not—” you started, but San just smirked and patted the spot beside him.
You sat down between them, letting your bag slide off your shoulder.
San casually reached over to tuck your hair behind your ear, fingers brushing your jaw for a beat longer than necessary.
You froze for half a second. Not because you didn’t like it — but because people were around. Out here, in the open.
San’s hand dropped, and he didn’t say anything. He didn’t need to.
But Wooyoung saw it. Saw you.
And without saying a word, he reached out and slid his fingers through yours.
No big gesture. No loud announcement. Just a simple act of affection.
And you didn’t pull away.
You let him hold your hand, and you leaned a little into San’s side.
Someone nearby whistled. Another person did that thing where they nudge their friend like, “Look, it’s the soulmate trio.”
You didn’t run.
You didn’t hide.
You just smiled, cheeks a little warm, heart a little full.
“PDA level one unlocked,” Wooyoung whispered proudly.
“Don’t make it weird,” San murmured, but he was smiling too.
---
It was after your late lab, and the sky had dipped into that perfect indigo blue — the kind where the stars were just barely starting to show, and the streetlights cast soft halos on the brick paths winding through campus.
San and Wooyoung had waited for you outside, like always.
Wooyoung had your favorite drink in hand — slightly melted but still sweet — and San had that patient look on his face, the one that said take your time, we’re not in a rush.
You walked between them, your bag slung over one shoulder, all three of you heading toward the front gates where Wooyoung had parked his bike like a chaotic gremlin on two wheels.
It was quiet. Not awkward — just that kind of peace you’d learned to love. The kind that only came from being around people who didn’t need to fill the silence to feel close.
You passed the student center — a few people milling around, sitting on steps, laughing in small groups. Someone waved at Wooyoung. San nodded to a guy from one of his lit classes.
And then you stopped.
Not because of anything specific — no grand thought, no particular reason.
Just… because you felt it.
You turned toward Wooyoung first, reaching out to brush a bit of his hair away from his eyes where the wind had pushed it.
He blinked, lips parting slightly, like he was about to make a joke — something light, something very him.
But you didn’t let him.
You leaned in and kissed him.
Right there, in the middle of campus, under the glow of a streetlight.
Soft. Sweet. Real.
His breath caught — just for a second — and then he kissed you back, one hand resting lightly on your waist like he was afraid to hold too tight.
When you pulled away, his eyes were wide, stunned, lips still parted.
“Whoa,” he breathed. “I wasn’t— That was—”
“I know,” you said softly.
San, behind you, let out the softest exhale of a laugh — warm and fond.
“You’re not even gonna warn us anymore, huh?” he teased gently.
You turned, reaching for his hand. “It just felt right.”
And it did.
Not because of the thread.
Not because of the bond.
But because it was you. And them. And this life you were slowly building, piece by piece, kiss by kiss.
---
It was later that night, after the campus had quieted and the stars had taken over the sky completely.
San walked you back to your dorm — not because he had to, but because he always did when it was just the two of you. The quiet walks had become a thing between you. No pressure. No rush. Just matching footsteps and the occasional shoulder bump under the moonlight.
Neither of you had brought up the kiss yet.
Not the one with Wooyoung.
Not the way it had happened — publicly, openly — like your heart had just decided it was done hiding.
You unlocked the door to your dorm, letting it click behind you softly, and dropped your bag onto the floor with a tired sigh.
San leaned against the wall beside your desk, hands tucked into the pockets of his hoodie, his head slightly downturned like he was thinking through every word before he even said it.
You turned to him, waiting.
It was quiet for a moment.
Then—
“That kiss today,” he said softly, not looking at you just yet, “it wasn’t mine. And I still felt like I couldn’t breathe.”
You blinked, heart stuttering in your chest.
“Not because I was jealous,” he added quickly, finally lifting his gaze to meet yours. “But because… it was real. And I’ve never seen you look so sure before. So free.”
You stepped closer, slowly.
“I was,” you said. “I am.”
San smiled — that small, quiet smile that didn’t need to be wide to mean everything.
“I’ve been waiting for you to let yourself want us,” he whispered. “Not just accept the bond. Not just stay. But want.”
You were close enough now to touch. You reached up, brushing a stray piece of hair from his forehead, fingers lingering at his temple.
“I do,” you said, just as quietly. “Want you.”
That was all it took.
San leaned in, slow, searching your face one last time — like he needed to see you give him permission even after hearing the words.
You closed the space for him.
The kiss was soft. Warmer than the first one. Deeper. Calmer. It didn’t burn, it settled — like sinking into something safe.
When you finally pulled back, you stayed close, foreheads pressed together, breathing each other in.
“Feels different when it’s just us,” you whispered.
San nodded, lips brushing yours again as he spoke.
“It always does.”
It was raining when you arrived at their dorm.
Not the dramatic, thunderous kind — just a gentle, steady rain that made the windows blur and the world feel slower, quieter. San had texted you earlier: “Come over. Stay the night. Bring your comfiest hoodie.”
So you did.
Wooyoung opened the door before you could even knock, like he’d been waiting with his ear pressed to it. He was wearing pajama pants and one of San’s old t-shirts, and his smile lit up the dim hallway like sunshine in a storm.
“You’re here,” he said, and it wasn’t a question — it was a confirmation of something he’d been hoping for all day.
You stepped inside, brushing raindrops from your hoodie as San appeared behind him, hair damp from a shower, holding a mug of tea that he wordlessly handed to you.
“Chamomile,” he said. “For settling in.”
That was exactly what this night was — settling in.
No pressure. No grand gestures. Just warmth.
The dorm lights were low. A candle flickered on the windowsill — something cinnamon-sweet and comforting. The sound of rain tapping against the glass filled the quiet spaces between your words.
Wooyoung made popcorn — burned the first batch and blamed the microwave. San changed the playlist three times before settling on soft acoustic songs. You curled up on the bed between them, a blanket draped over all three of you, legs tangled and laughter easy.
At one point, Wooyoung tried to explain the plot of a movie he only half-watched last week, and San kept correcting him with actual facts until Wooyoung gave up and fake-sulked into your shoulder.
You kissed the top of his head. Just because you could now.
San was leaning against the wall behind you, fingers lazily tracing shapes on your thigh beneath the blanket. He wasn’t saying much — but his presence wrapped around you like gravity. Quiet, grounding, always there.
Eventually, the conversation faded, the rain still whispering outside, the playlist down to nothing but soft instrumentals.
You shifted, nestling closer to both of them, and whispered, “This feels like home.”
Wooyoung hummed sleepily, half-asleep already. “That’s because it is.”
San kissed your temple. “You’re not visiting anymore,” he murmured. “You’re just… with us.”
And that night — wrapped in their warmth, the bond humming quiet and content — you believed it.
---
The rain had stopped sometime in the early morning.
The world outside the dorm window was still, soaked and silver-blue in the soft pre-dawn light. Inside, it was warmer — cocooned in quiet breaths and shared blankets, the air heavy with sleep and something else.
You lay between them in the tangle of sheets, Wooyoung’s arm draped lazily over your waist, San’s fingers still linked with yours from the night before. None of you had spoken in hours. Not even in whispers. Just soft sighs, slow heartbeats, a peace so deep it didn’t need words.
And then it happened.
It wasn’t loud. It wasn’t dramatic.
It was a feeling — deep in your chest, blooming behind your ribs like light warming the darkest part of you.
The thread.
That red, pulsing thread you’d feared for so long.
It tightened.
Not in a choking, panicked way. Not like it was pulling you in.
More like it was settling. Finding its shape around the three of you. Completing a loop that had taken its time, been patient, never forced you — just waited.
A quiet click, almost metaphysical — like the final piece falling into place.
You felt it hum beneath your skin, and this time, instead of fear, you felt complete.
You shifted slightly, just enough to see both of them. San stirred first, eyes still half-lidded but aware. Wooyoung blinked slowly, sleep still soft around the edges of him.
“…Did you feel that?” you whispered.
San nodded, voice gravelly. “Yeah.”
Wooyoung’s smile was slow, drowsy, genuine. “Finally.”
None of you moved to sit up. None of you needed to.
You just breathed together, wrapped in each other — the bond no longer glowing, but settled.
No more tugging. No more questions.
Just quiet connection.
A single thread. Three hearts.
And everything that came next.
A/N: Again! I hope you enjoyed :3 It is sort of my first soulmate au story and I'm fairly new so let me know how I did ^^ (I tried ;'3)
