i don't actually think maisie loved being in japan for like, first 6 months she had moved there minimum LOL. like some parts were fun and she was excited and it was a nice change of pace! but the entire move was not a good idea and she knew it.

she was in the midst of grieving and pm moved to run away from her problems and get a new change of pace to shock her out of her slump! neither of which happened. like yeah sometimes she was too busy to be worried about her problems but she could do that back home too. if anything her problems just got worse bc then she was thousands of miles away from and in the opposite timezone from her entire support system LOL.

she was fairly established where she was and definitely would have had an easier time healing (or being able to heal at all really without waiting a couple extra years) BUT she was hyperfocused on moving and put her blinders on to Rationality

the first year was kind of wobbly and for the majority of it she was highly considering moving back once her work contract expired. even after meeting and starting to date ichi she was just not settled enough and she was homesick...

now she's settled and happy and has a sexy husband though so it all worked out ☝️

what is rise in girl ? – rise in girl is a series created by @piercethearataka and @hesitantanthony on tiktok!! its presented as a satire and silly show based on the a little less sixteen candles music video by fall out boy and heavily inspired by another series on tiktok called my sugoi romance, but the plot and episodes are more serious. the main characters are fall out boy, duh, along with a few other bands... im rlly bad at descriptions grins

current lore ? – gabe throws a house party one night, which multiple bands attend along with multiple vampires. after the power suddenly goes out and comes back on revealing gabe getting attacked, chaos ensues and while running pete ends up alone in a dead end. he gets bit and turned! oh no. about a month later, vampires are popping up everywhere. fob and mcr have decided to live together in a hideout while hunting vampires!! wow! but pete is still after revenge on the vampires, and his antidote is getting weaker. oh and gerard has been acting strange. wonder what thats about. after an eventful day theres a knock on the hideout door and its freaking ryan ross. why is he there? brendons been turned. fob goes to investigate brendons house and hes gone. the only thing left being evidence of someone getting blood to him. besides all that new lore, william is still our main villain and there are different vampire groups! fob is still a band. super awesum.
