if a steven corrupted himselfs, would that corrupt the ghost pink diamond at the some time? or vices versus?

Eh I have genuinely no clue because I don’t understand the gem/soul relationship. If it’s a gem thing maybe if Steven took out his gem again, if it’s a Steven thing I doubt it, but who knows!!!! Plus I think @babybeetlebongos points out some compelling scenes where it seems like corrupted gems might actually be intact and not corrupted in their ghost self? So would Steven’s ghost even corrupt? i still have my reservations about steven corruption bc we don’t actually know whats up. infographic:

theres plenty of thematic and lore support for him corrupting but until we know How Happen idk. I have too many questions to give you any answers.

So, all the corrupted gems we know are gems, so they have light bodies. What’s even the nature of corruption? Is it a perceptive disconnect between the astral self and the body? What happens to Steven’s organic body? weve seen Cat Fingers but that was him shapeshifting and then losing control of his emotions - is that how he goes worm? Why all the corruption lore mystique and pointing to corruption specifically then? What part does that have to play?

Plus like, did Rose play a part in corruption by deflecting the Diamond blast? If it takes all 4 diamonds, wtf is gonna get Steven shot with a gem killing diamond laser? Why do they even have that move? What are gems? Who made them? What is the meaning of life? Etcetc. The hypotheses I have that fit with what we know still include the possibility of worm being Rose in Steven’s gem or the astral plane or both of them or a fusion or something too, (maybe as the wereworm? idk i think worm steven is more likely but i dont fucking know with this show but i really 👀 at KBCW and the other ronaldo eps ngl) since she’s been kinda the main antagonist of his life/baggage and unexpectedly present at most major conflicts and worm has her horns? Whats up with the pink WD/Jasper? in the OP? That comes before worm right? And I’m still pretty suspicious of the fact that bubbles seem to be the only thing that exist in both the mindscape and physical world. But also warp pads? The Diamonds sensing Steven’s pink aura?

Like I think Steven worm seems most likely but the mindscape deeplore raises so many questions rn i have no idea
