2024 has been so stressful for armys and the tannies lol. this is lowkey beating 2018 era and that was Thee Worst Year for us ever
😭 honestly, this is why you should leave stan twitter if all its doing is just stressing u the hell out. im super grateful for the friends i made when i was still active in army twt back then, and i will never forget the fun times. but tbh, whenever a certain issue comes up, twitter just has this big talent of blowing it out of proportion, and u get manipulated into thinking that it's bigger than it actually is.
ever since i left the fandom space in general (im still an army dgmw, ive just gotten rid of the fomo and i only ever go on tumblr for fandom content which is a lot whole calmer bcs again i have a super curated following list), one thing i realize is that, sure, stan twt could be fun or actively engaging with the fandom can make u happy, but most of the time i think it just makes u miserable esp when there are issues.
we get so caught up in the mindset that the people we stan need some kind of protecting or defending we forget about ourselves or our morals. and then you get away from ur phone, log out for awhile, turn ur phone off, and u'll realize that sometimes, most things people talk about in socmed do not really hold weight in the real world

Darren Criss on counting his lucky stars
Tumblr media
Thirty-seven-year-old Darren Criss is a star on Broadway, and a regular at piano bars. "Keep the music going, you know?" he said. "I think the expression goes, 'Life is a cabaret!'" When he's in Los Angeles, it's Tramp Stamp Granny's, where he and his wife, Mia, are the owners. "It's kind of a beautiful little Hollywood tale," he said. "She slings the drinks, and I sling the tunes."
One rule in a piano bar? Play the hits. Criss had his first hit at the University of Michigan. He starred as Harry Potter in an unauthorized student show based on the books that became a YouTube sensation in 2009. "This was a very interesting moment in time," he said, of "A Very Potter Musical." "That really did kind of change my life. That would kind of set me on the path to where I am now."
I asked if "A Very Potter Musical" was the first musical to go viral. "I don't know; I guess we'll let the YouTube historians sort of decide the validity of that," Criss said. But Criss took a detour on his way to Broadway, by becoming a TV star. "'Glee' was happening at the time," he said. "And I went out for it, like hundreds of thousands of other people in my situation at that time. And I happened to book it." He played Blaine Anderson, and quickly became a fan favorite. "I owe my tenure on that show to the sub-cultural fan base army that we had gathered from the Potter stuff," he said.
Criss went on to win an Emmy and a Golden Globe for his portrayal of serial killer Andrew Cunanan in "The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story." Now he plays an obsolete robot named Oliver in a new musical, "Maybe Happy Ending," one of the most acclaimed shows currently on Broadway. The New York Times calls it "joyful," "heartbreaking," and "supersmart."
Criss said, "This show begins with a song which is the question the show posits: Why love? Why do we do it? If we know that loving something enters you in a contract that has an inexorable back end – which is the loss of something – why do we do that, if we know that that's gonna happen?" According to Criss, this show came along at the perfect time. He and his wife, Mia, have a two-and-a-half year-old daughter, and earlier this year they welcomed a baby son. I asked, "Does this feel like the best year of your life?" "Well, it certainly is a blessed one," Criss laughed. "I've had some extraordinary years of my life, and I think this has been a certainly exciting time." He's had some hard years, too. In 2020, his father, Bill, died at 78 from a heart condition. In 2022, his brother, Chuck, died at 36 by suicide. Criss said, "I don't necessarily think of my own experience with those people specifically in my life that I have lost. But I do think about the feeling of loss, the sadness and emptiness and loneliness that that yields, because we all feel it. But the things that move me, in life and in ["Maybe Happy Ending"], are not the darkness of the loss, but the Herculean grace that it takes to be resilient in the inevitable truth of that." When he thinks about that, Darren Criss can't help but sing. "I count my lucky stars every day," he laughed. "I'm runnin' out of – there's too many! They're still showing up. I'm doing 'CBS Sunday Morning'!"

ooooooooo I love your ask prompt
anyways time to describe:
This character is in their 20s
In the majority of their productions, they are probably inspired by the army and maybe farmers
For the first act this character appears sweet and helpful,in an american retail worker way but more sincere
In the second act, this character is revealed to enjoy harming others
red.very red
Thank you!!
This was actually so difficult alfjso
I think you gave me a general across production description rather than a certain production/version description, and you also missed the name, but im like-- 99.9% sure this was early CB, and there was also very little to work off of physically, but I did my best
Tumblr media
You described him in very human terms, and didn't technically tell me who this was, so i made him a lot more like...... human?? Than I probably would have otherwise akdjskd
Was trying so hard to make his outfit/plating look like the kind of like-- uniform that's not the actual army uniform, but like the one with the button down and hat thst like, army personnel wear when they visit schools
Anyways, if anyone else is seeing this and wants to know what's going on and/or contribute, check out this post here to see the little Starlight Express design challenge I'm doing

Okay, I've given up on the timeline where Gotland accepted the rule of Loser Liege Lord Lodbrok. I'm gonna start a new game and immediately start subjugating any counts in Sweden weaker than me.
My first attempt went badly. I died in the very first battle. Luckily this is Crusader Kings, so I kept playing as my son. Unluckily, being eight years old would slow down my conquest.
My second attempt went better; in two years or so, I'd conquered four new counties. But there were a few problems.
I didn't pay enough attention to where the line between Norway and Sweden is, so I wasted my once-in-a-lifetime Anyone Subjugation CB on a random count in Norway. Which obviously doesn't count towards how much Sweden I own. Not ideal.
I quickly hit my demense limit. And since I don't have the cash to buy a duke title, I can't assign counties to anyone else.
I almost lost one war when my target called in an ally with slightly more warriors than me. Luckily they didn't coordinate and I sieged down the target's one holding before facing any consequences.
Somehow, when I disbanded my army after the fifth subjugation, my soldiers vanished? They're supposed to go back into my Unraised Levies pool and they just didn't! That was my whole army, dude!
I'll probably need to restart because of that last point. Sad.

wow i did not expect an austria game in eu4 to actually go well for me, however, somehow i managed to unite the HRE into one country, conquered spain and thanks to that took over their colonial nations, portugal fell under a PU with me at some point, the spanish declared a succession war when that happened, it was an easy win though, just took time.
I started out the game basically by just speedrunning getting a bohemian and austrian PU, then went for poland, while also doing diplomatic fuckery to spread the habsburgs. This led to a Swedish, Saxonian, Portugese and British PU eventually, saxony and the brits were a claim on throne war. did some conquering in poland to finish the mission that gets you a restoration of union CB on poland, it wasn't that helpful unfortunately, russia also took a lot of their lands. then after taking i think it was venice and Milan, i got the restoration of union CB on naples and did that as well :3
so there i was with 7 personal unions at once + some subjects from the HRE, the religious league war was pretty fast, catholicism won, i revoked some free cities to enforce the religion, and i was left with a HRE free from heresy, this in addition to the historical center of Prague and austrian national ideas made getting imperial authority easy, and soon enough i disallowed internal wars, making centralization of the empire even easier, yippee ;3
once i revoked the privilegia i declared a couple wars, the vassal swarm was amazing, first i took some provinces from the ottomans to finish an austrian mission that wanted me to get some serbian provinces, then spain, thanks to the way they choose how to declare wars (iirc they don't consider subjects of an overlord when declaring war on a subject of of said overlord, which gave them the amazing idea to start a colonialism war against Holland, which was my vassal, this called the entire HRE and my PUs into the war) It was fucking horrible. fighting countries that have colonial subjects is SO fucking exhausting, I've had your entire mainland occupied for >15 years and we're still only at ~40% war score because their fucking colonial subjects are untouched. horrible.
Anyways, I now own all of the HRE, most of france, all of the nordic countries, the british isles, iberia, hungary, bohemia, poland, half of Lithuania, all of Italy, morocco, 90% of the americas, australia and half of south africa.
monthly balance is at 4.5k, my manpower pool was into 3 or 4 million, I don't remember exactly, army limit was at 3 million, and navy limit at around 3k iirc, as of rn i only have 1k ships, and around 2.5m bitches in the army, and i have 155 absolutism

Despite the overwhelming scale of former president Donald Trump’s victory in the Iowa caucuses on Monday night, some of Trump’s most ardent supporters have already claimed that the vote was rigged because he lost one single county.
“After it was reported that President Trump won every county in Iowa tonight, Democrat shenanigans ensued and now it’s being reported that Johnson County in Iowa, which is a Biden +40 county, flipped to Nikki Haley by ONE VOTE,” Laura Loomer, a far-right activist who has been embraced by Trump, posted on X in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Other Trump supporters on far-right online platforms also claimed electoral conspiracies, even though Trump won 51 percent of the vote in Iowa, with Florida governor Ron DeSantis a distant second at 21 percent and former UN ambassador Nikki Haley in third place at 19 percent, according to results shared by the Iowa Republican Party and AP’s election tracker.
“We need a recount in Johnson County RIGHT NOW!” an X account named Red Eagle Politics wrote.
On Trump’s own platform Truth Social, Seth Keshel, a retired US army captain who has become a leading voice in the election denial movement in recent years, wrote: “Haley by one vote in Johnson County screws my prediction of 99/99 to Trump. Audit!”
Some of Keshel’s followers claimed those who voted for Haley had been “paid” to vote against Trump, but provided no evidence to back up this claim.
On pro-Trump message board The Donald, where a lot of the online organizing of the January 6 riot took place, users took issue with Haley’s Monday night claim that Iowa voters made the presidential election a “two-person race.”
“They rigged that county by a single vote just so she could say this,” one user wrote.
Others said the one vote loss was the work of the so-called deep state. “To win by ONE vote is just too conspicuous,” a user wrote. “It looks like a ‘Fuck You’ from the Deep State.” Responses in the same thread urged Trump to call for a recount in order to “trigger” his opponents.
Some Trump supporters also claimed that tens of thousands of Democrats were being paid to switch allegiances for the caucus and vote for Haley.
“The Iowa Democratic party has reportedly pushed for and paid TENS OF THOUSANDS of its registered voters to temporarily switch their party registration from Democrat to Republican so they can caucus for Nikki Haley,” Joshua Hall, who was once convicted of threatening to kill Democratic congressperson Eric Swalwell, posted on X.
While there was no evidence anyone was paid to vote, CBS reported that in at least some Johnson County precincts, election officials ran out of forms printed to allow people to switch party affiliations on the night.
As has been the case since the first false claims of a stolen election emerged in the wake of Trump’s loss in 2020, none of those claiming wrongdoing on Monday night provided any proof to back up their claims. With a long primary season now underway, those peddling lies about election integrity are just getting started.

Coming up on a year since NCIS: Los Angeles’ swan song, Daniela Ruah pulls double duty this Monday, April 15, during CBS‘ NCIS line-up.
First up, Ruah reprises her role as Special Agent Kensi Deeks (via an MTAC video conference) during the NCIS franchise’s milestone 1,000th episode, which airs at 9/8c as an episode of NCIS. Then at 10 pm that night, you have the NCIS: Hawai’i episode “The Next Thousand,” which Ruah directed. (Ruah previously directed a half-dozen NCIS: LA episodes, as well as the recent NCIS episode about a kidnapped fiancé.)
TVLine hopped on the phone with Ruah to ask our No. 1 burning question about her NCIS “1,000” cameo, and then talk up her helming of the NCIS: Hawai’i episode about a U.S. Army SERE (Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape) training exercise on the Big Island that turns extremely deadly.
TVLINE | First of all, because Kensi dials into MTAC from her car during the NCIS franchise’s 1,000th episode, I need to know: Did you film your scene while you were in a drop-off line? [Laughs] No, I actually filmed that while I was directing in Hawaii. They were like, “Can we fit this into your schedule?” and we were like, “Well, we can’t make it look like I’m in Hawaii.” So, we had to go back and look at pictures of what Kensi’s car looked like to try and get something as similar as possible, to look like Kensi is in her car. I couldn’t even remember, to be honest with you, what brand she drove — I was so immersed in the Hawaii episode – but listen, I wouldn’t have it any other way. To be invited to be a part of the 1,000th episode was such an honor. It’s too big of a deal.
Tumblr media
TVLINE | Turning to NCIS: Hawai’i, the episode they gave you to direct is crazy intense. Once you saw what it was going to be, were you charged up? First of all, the fact that all three showrunners wrote it, Jan [Nash], Matt [Bosack] and Chris [Silber], that right there tells you that there’s probably going to be, you know, a little more craziness, or it’ll be more out-of-the-box. I don’t know why, but I always perceive that when a showrunner writes something, they get extra creative.
Tumblr media
TVLINE | I think about the specific challenges that this episode must have presented you as director, and not only is almost all of it outdoors, but it’s in the jungle. Did you have to learn anything new in that respect? Yeah — wear long pants and long sleeves, and bring mosquito spray. [Laughs] No, every time I direct something, even if it was still on [NCIS: LA], you’re always learning new things. Here I’m working with a new crew, with a new director of photography, so everybody’s going to teach you new things. Even stunts — when Tennant gets [spoiler], they said, “Here are things that we could do…,” which then allowed me to get creative with the way it was shot.
Tumblr media
TVLINE | My next question was actually going to ask, where was that area of volcanic rock? Because it made for some stunning shots. That’s a place called the Lānaʻi Lookout — and there’s water right behind those rocks. I mean, we were literally on the ocean, so we had to adjust the camera angles to hide the water. Like, you shoot one inch to the left or to the right, and all of a sudden you’re exposing the fact that you’re actually not in this barren, isolated area. That’s the strategy and the magic and the figuring out that I have to do as a director.
TVLINE | The episode opens closes with some nice scenes between Tennant and Kate (played by Tori Anderson), which is a character dynamic the fans enjoy. What were you looking to capture there? First of all, [Vanessa and Tori] are both absolute sweethearts, and they have such amazing chemistry in real life, so it’s not a hard thing to do scenes with them. But yeah, you get this contrast of a character, Tennant, who is experienced and can improvise and who has kind of “seen it all,” versus a newer agent who’s really eager to do well, but she’s super by-the-book.
Tumblr media
TVLINE | The Sam/Kate scenes are also interesting because — and this didn’t dawn on me until Kate mentioned it herself — they hadn’t really interacted yet. Exactly. Yeah, I love that conversation that Kate and Sam have at the desk when she’s just kind of struggling to figure things out, and he tells a little story of his own past and his own experience….
TVLINE | Sam specifically shares with Kate some advice he once got from an agent “much wiser” than him. I tried Googling the line he says, but came up empty. Was it from any NCIS: LA episode? Maybe it was Hetty…? I know that there is one Easter egg [in the episode] from Gibbs, and so maybe the other one was Hetty. Maybe. I’m not sure!

CBS Ghosts - Hello! - The Ghosts' Solution
Warning: Spoilers may appear.
Tumblr media
I love that Isaac’s just like “Okay, Troops” as if they’re his army under his command.  I wonder if he just REALLY loves being the leader. It’s especially funny in a few gifs.
Tumblr media
LMAO - Thor: Unknown waters are dangerous - unless Cod and Hetty starts off like “Yes, he must know - he’s a traveler” then two seconds later - “Damn it with the cod!”
At this point, Hetty (like the four older ghosts) have heard about Thor fondness for Cod for over a century and it’s like hearing my dad’s stories about the marines - fun at first, now boring.
I love the cod reactions through the show. Not just for Hetty, but all of them.
Anyway, I love that she makes the same face EVERY time she hears it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I love that these four are just looking at him like - WHAT?  Why are we listening to this man?  Also, going to note Trevor’s sitting position because damn - how long did it take him to learn how to sit so he’s covering himself?
Do the others appreciate his efforts? I would hope so.
Tumblr media
Isaac’s a humble bragger - or just a bragger.  He’s just like “Yes, I’m awesome” - oh Isaac, you forget who you live with.
I do like that Pete’s just intrigued like “Oooh, interesting.” I wonder if Pete is the one that everyone just info dumps, too? I feel like he's definitely sat there and listened to Isaac's stories.
Tumblr media
I LOVE SASS - OMG!  Isaac’s bragging (and perhaps Trevor, Flower and Alberta haven't heard this bit before) until Sass goes “you’re a dumbass - you didn’t win, you surrendered.”
I love how Trevor and Flower slowly turn to Sass like “did you really just say that?”  It’s interesting because this tidbit reminds us that Sass was THERE when Isaac’s life was happening and WATCHING.  I like to think that Sass pulls shit out of his ass - half true, half untrue - just to mess with ‘the Captain’ Isaac.  They’ve lived together WAYYYYY too long.
Also, love Alberta’s little laugh.  It’s so fun seeing their reactions.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
LMAO!  This is SO FUCKING FUNNY.
Isaac - it worked!
Sass - yeah but you died two weeks later.
Isaac - it worked, damnit!  That was the point.
It’s just so funny because Sass is clearly having NONE of bossy Isaac and sassing him (pun intended) and Isaac just - doesn’t know how to deal with that. It’s like he’s not used to this despite the fact that he’s been living with Thor & Sass for 250 years.  Like - dude... you should expect this.
IDK I love it because it makes me wonder how they survived the last two centuries with each other or it’s like brotherly teasing at this point.  Either way, FUNNY.
Also - they all know you’re good at talking, Isaac, they’ve heard it a lot - they’ve LIVED (Afterlived)? with you for YEARS - Centuries in Sass’ case.
Tumblr media
I love that Thor & Hetty are next to each other in this scene.  Just because Thor is SO FREAKING EXTRA and Hetty’s like - you have a point until - Woah there buddy!
Like she probably agrees with him until he goes a step too far and then she raises her hands as if to stop him gently.
Also, does anyone else wonder if Thor isn’t interested in talking because he was abandoned?  Like maybe the 500 years he lived alone made him more bitter and violent and unwilling to compromise or talk things out? Aw, poor dane-murdering viking - I feel for you, Thor.
Tumblr media
LOL - I guess we know who Alberta struggles with at times - Thor, which makes sense because he’s very violent at times.  I love how she looks at Sass&Flower like “You two should be able to calm him down.”
I wonder if they’ve ever talked about that / used Ghost Court to make him chill out - I mean, it’s not working, but...how many times has he been banished?
Sass looks so over it - he’s been with the guy for 500 years, so at this point...
Flower’s like “let’s change the subject”...
Also, Trevor’s just like a puppy - he’s looking at Thor & Hetty concerned and then at Alberta like “Oh, yeah, something should be down about this.” and back at Thor & Hetty like “well, not me”.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Flower’s on the side of keeping the livings - probably because their afterlives have been SO boring, while the older ghosts argue otherwise.
This is very interesting - Thor, Isaac, and Hetty are hardcore against the livings staying because “they’ll be overrun” BUT Sass seems indifferent, while the younger ghosts are game for it.
Just like in the pilot, no one’s stances have changed.  This is interesting because Hetty seemingly grew attached to Sam in the day she was there, but it’s also possible that Isaac got in her head about the hotel.  Not that Isaac’s manipulative, but Hetty (aside from in DP) pretty much defers to men - particularly Isaac, in the first season.  She doesn’t really start to realize that she can and should voice her opinions until the Vault, which is a turning point for her.  Although there was leadup to that moment - standing up to Elias was HUGE for her.
Anyway, I digress.  You can see that she’s obviously been listening to Isaac because of what he says next.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is an important piece of dialogue.  Why?  Because Sass’ sass of Isaac earlier was just funny in a brotherly - we’ve lived together way too long way - but HERE is where Sass shows that YEAH, he’s learned to live with Isaac, but he has a rightful chip on his shoulder given that Isaac was fighting for the right to be a country from the people who invaded Sass’ people’s land and took it from them.
I really wish the show went into the likely underlying issue with Sass & Isaac - if I recall correctly - we rarely see these two alone together.  They certainly don’t seem to be close or even all that friendly at times.
Given that we later learn that before Pete died, no one compromised on anything and they fought ALL the time, you have to wonder if this was and still is a problem not yet, resolved.
Speaking of Pete...
Tumblr media
He’s SO USED TO STEPPING IN AS A MEDIATOR that he jumps in before Isaac can even think of a response - we don’t even see Isaac’s non-verbal reaction because Pete jumps in so quickly.
Also, I wonder how long he’s been thinking about this?  Since the scare?  All night?  During this convo?  He seems very well prepared.
Finally, it’s a great idea for a peaceable way solve the problem.
Tumblr media
Awww, of course the youngest is the first to be like “Yes - this is awesome”.  He says he likes it because ‘hot chick stays’, but I also think he just likes the idea that they would be less bored with young livings around.  He’s quick to learn their names AND he mentions “No hotel” because he knows that he should agree with the older ghosts’ opinions that hotel is bad.  Personally, I could see Trevor loving the “hotel” since it would bring life and fun to the house he’s been stuck in for decades - totally bored.
I also think that he felt a connection with Sam (and it's already turned into more of a crush) since she talked to him (albeit briefly) and the vase is the reason she can see them.
And naturally, he agrees with Pete - who was the only one to side and support him when Hetty accused him of murder.
Tumblr media
Awww, I love that Alberta ponders the possibility and then sides with Trevor - and HE’S SO HAPPY.  He’s like “yes, I have a buddy”.  We don’t see much of Trevor & Alberta, but I can imagine as the 4th youngest (and therefore on the young side) that she bonded with him more than the older four despite being with them longer.
Especially because they have similar party pasts, and Alberta's not afraid to be involved in dirty dealings or sex conversations - she's as much of a voyeur as Trevor is and it's clear early on.
Also, it’s interesting that it appears 4 vs 4 - young versus old.
Sass is the only one to not say one way or another what they should do or if he sides with youngest or oldest ghosts, BUT in a future Episode he says that he “Always takes the opposite of Trevor’s Side” so we can assume that he’s with the Oldest ghosts.  And in order we have the 3 older/oldest ghosts say negative - Flower start the positive train and now Alberta’s saying it too.
It’s so fun!
Also, he fist bumps her shoulder and smiles so happily at her as he listens to her discuss the positives.  :)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
OOOOOH!  Okay BIG SPOILERS HERE:
DAMN HETTY - you’re HARSH here.  You could just let it go, you could just support her or ignore her statement, but you KNOW she was murdered, Hetty!  You were THERE and know who did it!  Like WHAT???  WHY would you straight up gaslight her into believing that she died of a heart attack?
Honestly, the gaslighting here is SO HARSH and unnecessary.  Why are you protecting them???? Imagine if this had been the thing that kept Alberta from being sucked off - that would be TERRIBLE.  And even though it wasn’t... to possibly be the reason Alberta’s stuck...
Ouch.  Anyway.  I’ll probably keep track - how many times does this come up and how many times does she attempt to gaslight Alberta into believing otherwise?
Also, one other note - why the F does Alberta WANT to be murdered?  Who wants to be murdered? People get murdered for non-fabulous/famous reasons... like most serial killer victims.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Okay, some notes here:
Alberta, there’s nothing wrong with heart attacks.  Okay, your Buddy there next to you died of heart problems... he’s literally SITTING next to you and you’re like “I’m not that lame” WOW, Alberta.
Second, Trevor’s gone from smiling and happy to concerned about the fighting to looking at Alberta go on about how ‘lame’ heart problem deaths are somewhat tensely - upset.  Knowing how he died makes (as mentioned above) this statement kind of callous.
Now, the interesting thing about this is that his death is only ever mentioned 1 time.  During Trevor’s pants.  He, unlike Pete, Flower and Alberta (the youngest ghosts), never talks about his death.  And seeing this - that look on his face as he looks down at her as she talks about how her death had to be better than that - had to be the reason he never talks about it despite claiming that it was a party and he was legend when it happened.  The way he show boats about his death is TP makes me think that he wants it to have been better than it was - partially due to this.
I would give Alberta a pass for ‘potentially not knowing’ because she wasn’t there but neither was Hetty and Hetty’s the one to make the statement that ‘his heart exploded’, so they DO KNOW.  So, no pass Alberta.
Third, Hetty like ruffles herself weirdly when Alberta goes into her “my death rocked” theory, and it’s only been a theory for 90 plus years, which intrigues me.  Is it because she knows that Alberta’s right?  Is it because Alberta’s doing that thing that the older ghosts get annoyed by (the talking / joking about their deaths) that the youngest ghosts minus Trevor do? So many questions.
OOOH, interesting - he’s the ONLY one not to of the four youngest main ghosts...  Is it because of this Alberta/Hetty exchange?  Could he feel like it wasn’t fun or cool enough to talk about?  Aw, poor Trevor. He always wanted to be the popular/cool person and essentially he died in 'the lame' way instead of a cool way, according to Alberta. That has to hurt. Especially since the younger ghosts have 'cool' deaths:
Alberta - murder
Flower - bear attack
Pete - arrow by child
Steph - chainsaw killer
and then, Trevor... took two pills and made his heart explode, no wonder he doesn't do that 'joke - talk about it' thing. Awwww.
Sorry, he distracts me.
Lastly, is PETE.  As we see below - he is once again the peacemaker.  We don’t know if Hetty had another retort, but what we DO know is that Pete jumps in quickly - just like with Isaac/Sass - and offers some comfort.
What’s interesting about this comfort is that, at first, it seemed obvious that he was comforting Alberta about the possibility of her heart attack being her death (this makes sense given his crush), but NOW, I'm thinking - he’s offering TREVOR comfort.  He wants TREVOR to feel less sad about his death, since he went from smiling and happy to upset at the topic.  Trevor’s only been dead 20 years, so maybe he hasn’t gotten to the whole ‘mock my death’ part of accepting death like Alberta, Pete, and Flower.
OOOOh, could that work???
There’s stages of accepting ghost life / your death.
1. Don’t Talk about it - even though you’ve accepted it.
2. Joke about it because well, what else can you do?
3.  Refuse to acknowledge it unless you have no choice.
4. Accept it but don’t go out of your way to bring it up.
Tumblr media
Ah, Pete, making jokes about the arrow. He does this probably the most. He and Alberta are in love with talking about their deaths. Match made in purgatory? JK
Tumblr media
LMAO. FLOWER!  WHAT??? HOW DO YOU NOT KNOW - like it's so obvious!
HAHAHA. Sass is so like ... these dumb idiots - why am I stuck with them?
Tumblr media
LOL - Pete’s like “Uh, the Fuck question is that?” - Okay, he’s nicer than I am about it, but he’s like “Hello, obvious!” LOL.
ANYWAY.  End of this scene!  It was fun - I didn’t realize how much I could about just one scene but there was a lot of little tidbits about the characters in just the one scene that make A LOT more sense given the future episodes and how things tie together.
I love it.  Anyway, this was fun (I feel like Tigger)
Tumblr media
please feel free to reblog and come talk to me about this! :)  OR Send asks :)
Thanks!

Remembering Elvis Presley (January 8, 1935-August 16, 1977) on his birthday
Even though Frank Sinatra didn’t like rock ‘n’ roll at first, he grew to appreciate some of it later on, and he and Elvis Presley became friends.
On May 12, 1960, when he returned from the Army, Elvis guest-starred on The Frank Sinatra Timex Show. Sinatra and Elvis sang a duet of “Love Me Tender” and “Witchcraft.” The audience was filled with members of the Elvis fanclub, so that Elvis received a most warm welcome by screaming girls. The show garnered tremendous newspaper and magazine coverage, and the ratings were headlined in the Hollywood Reporter: SINATRA-ELVIS SPEC RATES 5 YEAR HIGH. Trendex gave the show a whopping 41.5 rating against CBS's 4.2 and NBC's 21.2.
Nancy Sinatra, Jr. guested on the show too and remembered that she was in love with Elvis. Later, she appeared in one of Elvis’s movies, Speedway, and became close friends with him. She also threw Priscilla a baby shower.
Nancy Sinatra, Jr.: “I was eighteen years old and in love with Elvis; totally in love with Elvis. He melted my heart, to meet him in person. I met him when he came out of the Army, when he got off the plane. I went as part of the PR for that special. Just to welcome him home on behalf of my dad and Timex. It was a photo op more than anything else. I was scared to death.”
Nancy Sinatra, Jr.: “I think both guys, I could say this with some authority, both of them were nervous. Because, I mean, here are two great legends coming together. They were already legends in their own time. Elvis, I think, had the edge on the nerves, however. I think he was a little edgier than Dad. But it turned out to be a very, very cute moment in history. It's a great moment in time.”
On May 1, 1967, Sinatra let Elvis and Priscilla use his private jet to fly from Palm Springs to their wedding in Las Vegas and to their Honeymoon. Priscilla explained in 2022 that Sinatra had offered them his plane to escape from the paparazzi.
Holding a picture of Elvis in front of Sinatra’s plane, Priscilla said:
“This is Frank Sinatra’s plane. Frank had offered us the plane so we could keep everything low-key and keep it again private. It was very gracious of him to do this because it helped a lot. After the wedding, the paparazzi definitely was after us. We were saying goodbye to some friends in Vegas and getting ready to get on the plane. It was a nice treat for us.”
Journalist Chris Hitchens revealed that Sinatra tried to get Elvis to quit doing drugs, shortly before he died.
“Tom Jones and I met up for a drink with [Sinatra] in New York and he told us that he had just been on the phone to Elvis."
He then described Sinatra telling the pair: "When I called the hospital in Memphis, the girl on the switchboard asked, ‘Who’s calling?' and when I replied, 'Frank Sinatra’ I fully expected her to say, 'Oh, yeah, and I’m the Queen of England' or some such dumb line.
But she must have recognised my voice because, a few seconds later, Elvis came on the line. I told him he’s got to look after himself and quit fooling around. He’s too young to die, and I told him so.”
After Elvis’s death on August 16, 1977, Sinatra made a statement about Elvis, saying: “There have been many accolades uttered about Elvis’s talent and performances through the years, all of which I agree with wholeheartedly.
I shall miss him dearly as a friend. He was a warm, considerate and generous man.”

Feeling a burning sensation to his chest, Taeyong winced as he held his shirt that clung to his skin. "They got him..." He heaves in deep breathes. "They killed my second half!!" He yells as he slammed his fist onto stone covered wall. A burned mark being left behind as his fist had heated up along with his eyes changing from their normal brown color.
Looking to their leader, the kidnapped hounds that were converted into beserkers. Men dressed in bear pelts, bear skulls for helmets and shirtless with ash dusted all over them. They all huff and roll their shoulders as they waited for their command.
"Take them down. Every single one of them." Taeyong, the leader that was left possessed by an ancient thousand year old nogistune gruffly said.
.
"Baby, I'm so sorry-" Jeno goes to apologize after they had gone to find the real Haechan that had risen from the ground in old bandges and an old army jacket.
The nogistune, an evil ancient spirit that is described as a supernatural dark kitsune. Hidden in an army man who had died decades of years ago by an accidental fire, covered in bandages from head to toe. Has been said to possess individuals in order to cause chaos in which it feeds off from. (More information will be posted on @beaconhillsxbot )
"Fuck you!" Hyuck yells with a broken tone to his voice as he pulls another piece of bandage off of himself. "Were you trying to kill me?! What if that was the real me?!"
"But it wasn't the real you," Renjun butts in as he gets a glare from Haechan.
"Fuck you too, Renjun." Haechan curses at his best friend.
Quietly standing by his father as he watched everything, Sunwoo whispers, "Moving here with you doesn't seem so bad after all."
Glancing to his son, Hanbin sighed as he looked back to Haechan cussing out Jeno and San.
"At least you're not dead or possessed anymore," Johnny speaks up as he began to pick up the pieces to the only weapon that could kill a nogistune. "So stop bitching and help us figure out what Taeyong is going to do. We need to stop the others from harming people."
Breathing in and out as he finished taking off dirty bandages off of himself, Haechan scooped up his toddler and turned to everyone that stared at him. "He didn't do much of the planning," he begins to inform them. "I did." He admits.
"When that nogistune invaded my mind, it held this... this dark plan to cause chaos. It felt like I was running around a dark maze in order to take some control of my own body. So... when I had blackouts, he would use my body to kidnap the guys. Then came the night terrors. Those were the worst. I never knew I would wonder off without knowing where I was." Shaking his head, he looks to Minjun who blinks at him. "I had Taeyong convert the guys into beserkers."
"Oh you've got to be kidding," Sehun blurts out. "First your dumbass gets possessed and now you're telling us that there's supernatural hell hounds out there with far more strength to kill us? Great, fucking great!" He says throwing his hands up and down, Lola following in slapping Sehun's arm to shut him up.
"If we can neutralize the beserkers, then we can corner Taeyong in order to get the sword through him." San speaks up as he had stayed quiet, thinking of their next plan in action. "Because he's not the real Taeyong. If we found Haechan rising up from the ground, then Taeyong must be buried as well. The nogistune buried both of you so that we couldn't find you."
"It must have buried them well enough more than 6 feet since we couldn't smell Haechan or hear him at all," Jake says from next to Sunwoo.
"Then we'll have to hunt him first in order for Taeyong to come out," San says.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Standing at the far end of where one of the houses was built, Taeyong, the nogistune, takes in a good whiff of the area. A dark smirk takes over his features as he motioned for the beserkers to charge forward. "Let the games begin." He says with a deep tone.

i’m still an army but i really really dislike the whole “trust bts” bandaid that majority of armys like to slap on everytime something gives other armys pause.
and i dont mean this in a way that i think they’re untrustworthy or liars or manipulators, but instead i see it as “at the end of the day they are people doing their job”. i dont think they have as many liberties as armys would like to think (which does NOT mean i think they don’t have any freedom whatsoever with what they choose to do). two examples of this are the MAMA speech situation and June 14th. on those two instances they were able to open up and be sincere about their struggles only bc a long time had passed. for the festa dinner, absolutely no one was expecting that those would be the words to come out of their mouths on their anniversary, in the middle of a cb, esp when everyone was convinced they would announce a tour.
i think those reality shattering moments have demonstrated that many times they are asked to uphold certain narratives in the interest of their brand and the company’s stability (we’re talking about a huge corporation to which they are the main contributors ofc it will put money first).
at the same time, many armys struggle with accepting that two things can be true at the same time. are they deeply passionate about their craft? yes. do they have a strong appreciation for their fans? yes. but that doesn’t mean they are always afforded transparency and straightforwardness.
i think armys need promote more rational and civil discussions instead of always resorting to “you need to trust them”. this has only led to more and more people drifting away from the fandom bc they dont feel like they can share their true thoughts without others ganging up on them. once again, i am saying this as someone who appreciates all of them and thinks they are good people at heart and hard workers.
"While I do have some frustrations myself about this chapter 2 I always go back to the Festa dinner and what the members said, especially Jimin. They asked us to trust them. So why don’t you trust him? I’m seriously wondering, I don’t understand the solo mentality… You’re falling for the solos and akgaes narratives just like you fell for the shippers’ narratives."
Anon I hope this answers your ask or whatever.
I'm not falling for solos or whatever I chose to be a solo I'm not falling for their narratives because their my own narratives and opinions. You don't understand the solo mentality because you're an army just like we don't understand your mentality don't try to understand us it's fine.
And to the anon above with the beautiful long ass ask thank you feels good to be understood. It's good to know that not all armies are brainwashed. Thank you.

Science Fiction becomes a reality....
Tumblr media
I thought this was fascinating............. and I think volcano eruptions are also fascinating,.... so go figure my fascinations.
Dick Tracy's two-way wrist radio was the direct ancestor of the cell phone.
Science fiction becomes reality!
Ya see, about 80 years ago in 1946, Chester Gould, the creator, illustrator and writer of Dick Tracy Comic introduced Dick Tracy’s 2-Way Wrist Radio, having drawn inspiration from a visit to inventor friend Al Gross, a pioneer in mobile wireless communication.. It became one of the strip’s most immediately recognizable icons, and was eventually upgraded to a 2-Way Wrist TV in 1964.
Today we all have small, similar wireless gadgets called cell phones.
Al Gross invented and patented many important communications devices, including the first walkie-talkie, CB radio, the telephone pager, and the cordless telephone.
Hewlett-Packard developed a U.S. Army prototype of what they’re calling a “Dick Tracy Wrist Watch” — a lightweight, wearable device that soldiers in the field can use to view digital maps and other data on a flexible plastic screen that won’t shatter or crack like glass.
Imagine that!

Today in Politics, Bulletin 154. 6/19/25
Today in Politics, Bulletin 154. 6/19/25 Ron Filipkowski Jun 19 ∙ … India’s Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri says that Trump lied about an imminent trade deal with India and also lied about brokering a peace deal between India and Pakistan: “PM Modi clearly told President Trump that during this entire episode, there was never any discussion at any level about an India-US trade deal or US mediation between India and Pakistan. The discussion to halt military action occurred directly between India and Pakistan through existing channels between both armies and was made at Pakistan's request.”
… Today is Day 69 since the Trump admin announced that they expected to sign 90 trade deals in 90 days. So far we have one with the UK that is probably better for them than us.
… Interior Secretary Doug Burgum was asked on CNN about Trump statement two months ago that at least 200 countries were begging to make trade deals with him: “Well, there is all kinds of countries that are showing up at the doorstep.”
… Maybe two more weeks.
… Statement from the Los Angeles Dodgers: “This morning, ICE agents came to Dodger Stadium and requested permission to access the parking lots. They were denied entry to the grounds by the organization. Tonight’s game will be played as scheduled.”
… WaPo reported that Trump has sidelined SecDef Pete Hegseth on crucial decisions regarding the situation in Iran, and is relying primarily on two 4-star generals for advice. One official: “Nobody is talking to Hegseth. There is no interface operationally between Hegseth and the White House at all.”
… The report says that Trump’s primary advisors are US Central Commanding Gen Erik “The Gorilla” Kurilla, and Joint Chiefs Chair Gen Dan “Raisin” Caine.
… Naturally, Hegseth’s spokesman denies the story: “The Secretary is speaking with the President multiple times a day and has been with the President in the Situation Room this week. Secretary Hegseth is providing the leadership DOD and our Armed Forces need, and he will continue to work diligently in support of President Trump’s peace-through-strength agenda.”
… Sen Ted Cruz (R-TX) continues to post maniacally about Tucker Carlson since he was destroyed in his debate with him about the situation in Iran and Israel: “Tucker Carlson is obsessed with defending Russia and the KGB thug that runs it.”
… Good thing Trump doesn’t do that.
… World Independent News: “Rep. Randy Fine (R-FL) was scheduled to interview with Tucker Carlson but the interview was cancelled at the recommendation of AIPAC, Ben Shapiro, others feeling he was ‘unprepared.’”
… The are clearly worried because Fine is the most reprehensible member of their coalition, is a complete moron, and they know Tucker would humiliate him which would damage their position. Fine posted this last year: “There’s a reason the first time I shook Netanyahu’s hand I did not wash it until I could touch the heads of my children.”
… Politico reported that Trump is furious at the video posted by DNI Tulsi Gabbard last week warning about the impact of a nuclear war. She said that we have never been closer to one, which is not the message Trump wants right now from his DNI.
… A senior Trump admin official: “I don’t think Trump dislikes Tulsi as a person. But certainly the video made him not super hot on her, and he doesn’t like it when people are off message. Many took that video as trying to correct the administration’s position.”
… Another WH official: "He’s not interested in firing her at this moment because she’s not doing any harm. I think he’s questioning her viewpoint as a value, especially after that video.”
… CBS: “Trump has been briefed on both the risks and the benefits of bombing Fordo, Iran's most heavily secured nuclear facility, and his mindset is that disabling it is necessary because of the risk of weapons being produced in a relatively short period of time. Trump is aware of the diplomatic effort being undertaken with EU officials meeting with the Iranian foreign minister in Switzerland on Friday.”
… “John Ratcliffe, the CIA director, has said in closed-door settings that Iran is viewed as being very close to possessing nuclear weapons, despite the official line from the intelligence community that Iran's leadership hasn't given a formal order to build bombs. Trump has been briefed on both the risks and the benefits of bombing the Fordow nuclear facility in Iran and his mindset is that disabling it is necessary.” Source: “He believes there’s not much choice. Finishing the job means destroying Fordo.”
… Trump was asked if a strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities by the US is imminent: “I may do it, I may not do it. Nobody knows what I'm going to do. Iran's got a lot of trouble.”
… Press Sec Karoline Leavitt: “Regarding Iran, I have a message directly from the president, and I quote, ‘Based on the fact that there is a chance of substantial negotiations that may or may not take place with Iran in the near future, I will make my decision whether or not to go within the next two weeks."
… Reporter: If the US were to take some sort of military action, would the president go to Congress to seek war authority? Leavitt: “I will not engage in hypotheticals. I gave you the statement from the president. He will make a decision in two weeks.”
… Two weeks.
… Reporter to Leavitt: “President Trump has said previously several times in regards to sanctions on Russia that they would be imposed in two weeks. He used that ‘two weeks’ phrase several times, then it was another two weeks, and another two weeks. So how can we be sure that he will stick to this deadline?”
… Trump’s former NSA John Bolton: “Trump wants a Nobel Peace Prize, because Barack Obama received one. He won't get it for solving the Russian-Ukraine war. He tried unsuccessfully to claim credit for the recent India-Pakistan cease fire. He’s now failing to reach an agreement with Iran, and is being asked by Israel to help destroy Tehran's nuclear-weapons program.”
… While the Trump admin has talked about nuclear deterrence at the reason for US involvement in a war against Iran, Republican Senators continue to call for regime change. Sen. Thom Tillis (R-CN) joined the chorus to CNN: “It is time for regime change, and I believe that this president should be given a fair amount of leeway to affect that.”
… Fox continues to beat the drums of war 24/7, with 100% of their hosts, guests and contributors wanting to go all-in despite the fact that a big chunk of the Republican Party is against that. It is 2002 all over again when they did the same thing. Sean Hannity to Iran: “You've been warned. At best your economy will be destroyed. Your refineries will be up in smoke. Your infrastructure will be in tatters. You won't have lights to turn on if you keep going the way you're going.”
… The position of Republicans in the House and Senate (other than Thomas Massie) is pretty simple - Trust in Trump. Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA) was asked her position on Fox: “Well, this will be entirely up to the president. Whatever the call that is made by President Donald Trump, I will be supportive of.”
… NPR: “Rep. Adam Smith (D-WA) said he thinks Iran ‘likely’ has a nuclear weapons program—but he sees so many questions about how a strike would work, retaliation, a wider war and boots on the ground that he concludes: ‘I do not think that we should do this.’ Smith is the top Democrat on the House Armed Services Committee, respected on defense issues. He cast doubt that the US could simply send a plane over Fordo with one big bomb and solve the problem. He says troops may be needed, there may be other sites, and Iran may escalate.”
… Rep. Warren Davidson (R-OH): “The Iron Dome - the munitions that are required to sustain this are large. Some of them Israel has purchased, some the US has given. We want to be supportive of our friends, but we need to be clear that you can’t just start a war, get it going, and then count on the US to show up and finish it for you.”
… MAGA influencer and podcaster Laura Loomer: “I wish I didn’t have the displeasure of having to meet most of the people I have met in conservative media over the last 10 years. Literally the worst people you’ll ever meet in your life.”
(NOTE - WELL, WELL, WELL, STOPPED CLOCKS AND BLIND SQUIRRELS AND ALL THAT!!)
… While speaking to reporters at the unveiling of his two new flagpoles outside the WH, Trump griped that he is worried about being able to maintain his streak of golf championships at his club because he hasn’t been practicing: “35 Club Championships, but I haven't hit a ball in 3 weeks, 4 weeks.”
… Which I’m sure were totally legit.
… CBS today: “Trump is leaving for his golf club in Bedminster, NJ tomorrow.”
… Trump was crying about the latest dismal Fox poll: “The Crooked FoxNews Polls have been biased against me for years. They are always wrong and negative. It’s why MAGA HATES FoxNews, even though their anchors are GREAT. This has gone on for years, but they never change the incompetent polling company that does their work. Now a new FoxNews poll comes out this morning giving me a little more than 50% at the Border, and yet the Border is miraculously perfect, NOBODY WAS ABLE TO COME IN LAST MONTH. 60,000 people came in with Sleepy Joe in the same month last year.”
… With inflation rising again and Fed Chair Jerome Powell warning it could get worse because of tariffs so he isn’t prepared to cut interest rates yet, Trump was fuming: “Too Late—Powell is the WORST. A real dummy, who’s costing America $Billions!”
… He wasn’t done. Another one: “'Too Late Jerome Powell is costing our Country Hundreds of Billions of Dollars. He is truly one of the dumbest, and most destructive, people in Government, and the Fed Board is complicit. Europe has had 10 cuts, we have had none. We should be 2.5 Points lower, and save $BILLIONS on all of Biden’s Short Term Debt. We have LOW inflation! TOO LATE’s an American Disgrace!”
… Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-AL): “Today’s a great day to fire Jerome Powell.”
… Rep. Andy Ogles (R-TN): “Let Trump run the Fed and purge the globalists for good. He rebuilt the economy after Democrats wrecked it—now let him slash the rates and finish the job. America First!!!”
(NOTE: SERIOUSLY - A DUMBER GROUP OF DUMBFUCKS YOU'D BE HARD-PRESSED TO FIND!!!)
… JD Vance opened up an account on Bluesky yesterday. It was suspended until the platform could verify that it wasn’t an impersonator account, then immediately reinstated. Naturally, the brief suspension launched a series of conspiracies from the usual suspects. Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT): “Why did it take BlueSky 17 whole minutes to ban JD Vance? What kind of self-respecting, leftist censorship takes that long to stamp out free speech?”
… Charlie Kirk: “It took 17 minutes for Bluesky to ban the sitting VP for offending them. And thanks to Elon Musk, we get to point and laugh at them instead of howling in anger about censorship. And thanks to us using our free speech on 𝕏, mocking and laughing at them, they’ve been forced to reinstate him! Be grateful every day for what Musk did to liberate free speech online.”
… He currently has about 9,000 followers on Bluesky and is not following anyone.
… Trump extended TikTok divestiture another 90 days. This was a law passed by Congress. The deadline for divesture was January 21. Trump has granted two extensions. There is no provision for allowing enforcement of the law to be extended. The Supreme Court upheld the law 9-0. But Trump is just ignoring it and nobody is saying anything about it.
… And China is blocking any sale indefinitely because of Trump’s tariffs.
… Jeff Mason with Reuters noticed that on a wall in the WH where portraits of First Ladies are displayed, Trump removed the official portrait of Hillary Clinton and replaced it with a painting of himself.
(NOTE: THE PORTRAIT SHOULD HAVE BEEN THIS:
Tumblr media
… George Clooney’s documentary “Surviving Ohio State” on the cover-up at the school of a doctor molesting athletes has been released. It implicates former OSU wrestling coach and current Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) as someone who had direct knowledge but did nothing...

Hellooooo! I remember you had very strong and interesting opinions about bts solo projects in 2023, so I wanted to ask what's your guess of when bts will release their next project and what do you think it'll sound like?
I originally thought we'd get the hyyh anniversary album first because of the interview bang pd did, but it didn't happen. Then there were articles that came out saying that bts won't have a cb right away because they need time to basically regroup and figure out what direction they wanted to go musically. I saw that a lot of army were understanding and basically thought that the guys would be doing group content like bon voyage, run bts, etc.. in the meantime, while working on the album.
But recently, a new article came out basically confirming that the guys need time to regroup and also that hybe is looking for composers. But what I found interesting is that they said that jungkook and jimin will continue their solo careers right after discharge. So contrary to what the majority of army were thinking, it looks like solo projects will continue, and the group probably won't have a cb until way later or even next year. Because if jimin and jungkook do release new albums, then I have a feeling they might tour since even jin is touring.
When it comes to the bts album, I thought it would be similar to their old stuff like hyyh era since that's kinda what they've been hinting at. But with how the solo projects have been going after golden, I have a feeling that the bts album will be primarily in English and geared towards the western market. V, jimin, jhope, and jin have all released English title tracks which I found very interesting.
Hi!
First of all, thank you for finding my opinions "strong and interesting"! And thank you for this debriefing. I wasn't aware of that new article!
I'll be honest. At this point, I don't care for new BTS music. When they come back, I just want to see them together, watch them perform, discover what new heights they'll reach. I won't be bothered if they don't release an album this year but I find it basically impossible for BTS not to honor and thanks us for waiting for them without a new song. I'm not sure what they're planning but they've been waiting just as long as us for BTS to be 7 again. Jin even told Jimmy Fallon that he would honor them. Jin's solo career seems more comfortable to him than being BTS in many ways, but being BTS means everything to Jin. I think that, regardless of future solo ventures, BTS needs to exist. I can't imagine them breaking their fans' hearts by prioritizing solo careers over BTS straight out of the military.
And I agree that we won't get a new BTS. Musically, they'll continue to lean towards Western Pop. I know a lot of fans were praying the hiatus would bring a shift in their musical direction, but I think it'll be more of the same.
I don't know. I don't wish for much, truly. I'll just wait and see...
Thanks for the ask! Sorry if you expected more...
