abilities: Despite not being able to consume a devil fruit without dying, Galapagos possesses the natural, and semi-rare, ability to grow and control plants. In addition, she is also able to make a plant die, by either reversing the growth of a plant or forcing a plant to grow too much, ending a plant’s life early. However, with careful training, this “ too much ” can be settled to be able to let a plant grow to it’s full potential.  Galapagos is also able to communicate with plants. In addition, she is able to burrow through any sort of soil and be able to hold her breath for upwards of an hour if not caught out of nowhere or being slammed underwater. Given her weightlessness as an Anyagi, she is incapable of dying from falling, given she will simply float down. Anyagi possess the ability to sacrifice their life to grow an entirely new devil fruit, Galapagos does have this ability.

history: Galapagos was born to Abdraecilius and Evangeline on Hoarfrost. She was born roughly 900-1000 years prior to the main timeline. However, after a strange instinct, Galapagos went missing, when in reality she had simply gone into hibernation deep within Hoarfrost’s soil. By the time she awakened from her slumber, a new time had come and the entirety of the Anyagi tribe aside from her had been extinguished. In addition to most of the villages on the island.

Presently, Galapagos had scavenged her own village for any remnants of her tribe being alive, only finding a few weapons, including what she uses now--a gun with a black blade attached--and then went off on a journey to find other anyagi...despite most likely being the only one left.

other: Galapagos often tells people she is a mink unless she really trusts someone, then she'll be a little more open about what she really is. Galapagos will always trust giants. Galapagos has a seed bag, this has seeds from Hoarfrost as well as everywhere she travels. She uses these seeds in case of emergency, using her ability to grow them fully. galapagos has a stutter.

Event Starter - Team Blood Drive

The decision to group up came easily. They were all friends, or so Muffet considered them to be, and in a way, this is almost like a sort of double date. One that might end with death, sure, but a double date nevertheless.

And with two bloodsuckers on the team with their respective blood donors, the team name Blood Drive came easily to Muffet. No objections from the rest, even if it did turn Nami red after Muffet explained it.

To make up for that, Nami was given the honor of holding the gun for the time being and leading them to the first beacon spot. Muffet was leaning up against her, watching the radar to see when they would get close.

“So~... it’s far from an ideal situation to be together again for, what with the looming threat and all. I can’t say I trust that girl too much, but~...”

“I suppose we don’t have a choice. But I’m curious— how are your climbing skills?” she asked to the group as a whole. “This first beacon doesn’t seem to be at ground level...”

» Things you should know about rping with my character(s): Yamato is a very strong muse so a lot of characters would have a hard time fighting him one to one, but I try to keep any fights interesting anyway even if his abilities are completely busted (thats just how it is to be a Yonko son with a mythical devil fruit). He is also a terrible alcoholic (although he tries to be better than his dad), and lots of themes of alcoholism and child abuse will surface when it comes to him. When I’m in that special spicy shitposting mood, Yamato can and will bark at you. He will get naked with no shame when it’s time to boil, and he can and will pick up your muse without a moment’s notice.

individually, trainees have been notified of their participation in the show, day of filming, place of filming and their partner(s). KBS has confirmed a payment of 603,000 KRW for participation (due to split income with the company, trainees will be paid 301,500 KRW each).

Maciej Buszman: Gratuluję dzisiejszej premiery “Southern Nights”!

Ragnar Ólafsson: Dziękuję! MB: Kiedy rozglądałem się za wywiadami jakie udzieliłeś przez lata, znalazłem tylko jeden, który był skupiony na twojej pracy solowej i był zrealizowany w Rosji, w 2018 roku. Poprzednie były tylko na temat Arstidir. Chciałbym cię zapytać o zdjęcie, które udostępniłeś na instastory pare dni temu. Był pod nim cytat “Songwriting jest tylko wymówką do opowiadania historii”. Czy to były twoje słowa? RÓ: Tak, gość który to udostępnił cytował mnie.Powiedziałem to podczas koncertu i tak, to prawda. To czym się zajmuję to opowiadanie historii. Możesz je przekazywać przez różne środki, a songwriting jest jednym z nich.

MB: To, o czym pomyślałem podczas czytania tego cytatu, że musiałeś być zainspirowany poprzez czytanie książek. I wtedy właśnie, w tym rosyjskim wywiadzie, opowiedziałeś o swoich próbach zostania pisarzem przed tym wszystkim. Wspomniałeś także o dwóch powieściach swojego autorstwa, które nigdy się nie ukazały. Z ciekawości, byli jacyś konkretni pisarze, którzy obudzili w tobie chęć do przekazywania historii?

RÓ: Tak, zdecydowanie. Od kiedy miałem 22 lata, moim życiowym celem było pisanie książek. Studiowałem literaturę przez 5 lat na uniwersytecie w Szwecji. Kiedy wróciłem na Islandię, skupiłem się na muzyce. Przez ostatnie 12 lat jestem muzykiem na pełen etat. Myślę, że potrzeba opowiadania historii. Teraz śpiewam krótkie historie w przystępnej formie.

Miałem dwie główne inspiracje. Pierwszą z nich jest Chuck Palahniuk, autor “Fight Club”. Uwielbiam jego mroczny i minimalistyczny styl pisania. Kolejnym był Islandzki pisarz, który wygrał nagrodę Nobla, Halldór Laxness. To bardzo klasyczny styl opowiadania. Te dwie pozycje zdefiniowały mój styl pisania.

MB: O czym były te powieści, które napisałeś?

RÓ: Duża część akcji dzieje się w Indiach. To nie przypadek, ponieważ Indie były dla mnie ogromną inspiracją. Przed trzydziestką byłem tam 5 razy. 

MB: Whoah… Jakieś wpływy The Beatles? 

RÓ: Cóż, nie dosłownie. Jednakże byłem w  Rishikesh, gdzie The Beatles spotykali się ze swoim guru i zrozumiałem co czuli.Indie to magiczne miejsce, gdzie uczysz się o życiu, kulturach i o sobie. To odbija się w tobie. Pojechałem do Indii poznać nową kulturę, a odnalazłem siebie. 

MB: Muszę przyznać, że to była dla mnie wspaniała podróż. Pokochałem Arstidir i byłem zaskoczony zespołem Solstafir. Nie wiedziałem, że polubię taki typ muzyki. Powiedziałeś raz - a było to w wywiadzie po premierze albumu Nivalis - że z momentem, kiedy pokazujesz swój szkic reszcie zespołu, należy on do każdego. 

RÓ: W szczególności w Arstidir. Jesteśmy bardzo demokratycznym zespołem. Jesteśmy tą grupą od 2008 roku, ale gramy razem znacznie dłużej. W Arstidir, kiedy wchodzimy do sali prób, zamykamy drzwi i kiedy pokazujemy jakiś pomysł, należy on do całego zespołu. Każdy ma możliwość interwencji w jakiś pomysł. To sekret naszego brzmienia. Ja, Daniel i Gunnar are jesteśmy bardzo dobrymi przyjaciółmi, mimo że różnimy się od siebie pod względem muzycznego gustu czy nawet spojrzenia na świat. Kiedy jesteśmy razem i łączymy nasze energie i pomysły, tworzymy coś wspaniałego. MB: Co sprawia, że decydujesz przypisać dany utwór do danego zespołu?

RÓ: Hmm… To znacznie łatwiejsze niż myślisz. Mój drugi album został napisany na rzece Mississippi w 30 dni…

MB: ...a poprzedni był napisany  w  Colorado, tak?

RÓ: Pierwszy był napisany w lato 2015, masz rację. Na przykład taki kawałek “Bravery”. Wracając do wypadu na Missisipi - 12 utworów, które znajdą się na albumie, mają w sobie pewne podobieństwo, które pozwala im znaleźć się w tej samej paczce. Jest to więc dosyć łatwe gdzie pokierować daną część utworów. Oczywiście są te�� inne piosenki, które napisałem podczas wyprawy, na przykład “Lover” Nivalis, czwartego albumu mojego zespołu. Wiedziałem, że to nie moje brzmienie i, że zachowa się to lepiej w Arstidir. Inny przykład to kiedy napisałem bardziej rock’n’rollowy utwór i pomyślałem  “Hmmm, ani to Ragnar Ólafsson, ani Arstidir. To pasuje do  In Siren”. Będzie to więc na następnej płycie tego zespołu. Zwykle wyczuwam gdzie dany utwór należy. Przez ostatnie lata zostałem obdarzony ciągłym przypływem nowych utworów. Przychodzą do mnie teraz bardzo łatwo. Przez każdy dzień, jak i tydzień przychodzi do mojej głowy więcej pomysłów. Mam ogromne szczęście.

MB: Wracając do “Urges”. Czy wszystkie te utwory były napisane podczas podróży po Colorado, czy były inne utwory napisane przed tym okresem, które musiały poczekać kilka lat? RÓ: Nie. Wszystkie te utwory były napisane podczas jednej podróży. Tak samo wygląda sytuacja w przypadku  M.I.S.S. MB: Pamiętam, że wspomniałeś o projekcie “Needle & Thread” w jednym wywiadzie, który miał być obok albumu M.I.S.S. Czy zmieniłeś koncepcję? RÓ: Akurat Needle & Thread to album Mississippi. Nazywał się on tak wcześniej z powodu utworu o tym samym tytule. Poczułem, że to może być najmocniejszy utwór w całym tym zbiorze, więc myślałem o nim jako o takim flagowcu. Jednakże potem napisałem “Southern Nights” i poczułem, że jest znacznie mocniejsze, więc zmieniłem nazwę na “M.I.S.S.”.To taka gra słowna, ponieważ napisałem to, rzecz jasna, na rzece Mississippi, ale niektóre utwory są o braku kogoś, o tęsknocie, jak na Urges. 

No i “Needle & Thread” jest oczywiście na tym albumie.

MB: Odnośnie tej “tęsknoty”… Tak jak “Urges” było napisane jako album po rozstaniu, okładka tej płyty także odnosi się do tych emocji. Prezentuje ona teksty wyświetlone na tobie, a wszystko to w odcieniach szarości. W porównaniu do tego okładka  “Southern Nights” jest bardzo kolorowa. Czy drugi album będzie jaśniejszy/bardziej kolorowy czy będzie utrzymany w tych samych tonach? 

RÓ: Jest znacznie jaśniejszy. Niektóre kawałki są smutne, ale w porównaniu do debiutu jest tam znacznie więcej wesołych piosenek. Na Urges uchwyciłem moje myśli, strach i zwątpienie. To było bardzo ważne dla mnie, że ta płyta ukazywała stan w jakim się znajdowałem. Mimo, że nowy album nazywa się “M.I.S.S.” to reprezentuje on nowy, jaśniejszy rozdział.

MB: Opowiedz mi o utworze, który dzisiaj przed nami wykonasz.

RÓ: Nazywa się Dragonfly. Jestem zawsze do przodu z samym sobą i napisałem trzeci album w minione lato. Jego roboczy tytuł to “Lost Creek”. Czeka on na swoje nagranie.Napisałem go podczas trzytygodniowej wyprawy po Tennesee z moim znajomym, John’em Holdsmiths’em (To on jest właścicielem łodzi o nazwie Southern Nights). Za każdym razem kiedy podróżujemy razem, przeżywamy wspaniałą przygodę. Zawsze kiedy jestem w Stanach, biorę ze sobą gitarę i kiedy wracam do domu, mam ze sobą tony inspiracji z tamtego miejsca. Na chwilę obecną jestem w połowie drogi do finalnego nagrania tego utworu. Śpiewa tam Julia Szkrobek, z którą za chwilę wykonam ten utwór przed wami . Napisałem go w lesie drzew wiśni, w górach północnego Tennessee. Byłem wtedy w obozie o nazwie “Lost Creek”. Jest to więc kolejny rozdział w moim życiu o którym Ci opowiem, mam nadzieję, przy następnym spotkaniu.

MB: Mógłbyś coś więcej powiedzieć o pracy z Julią?

RÓ: Julia jest na Southern Nights.Jest częścią wirtualnego chóru, który jest na koniec utworu. Chór ten składa się z 52 osób z 11 krajów. Podczas nagrywania “Southern Nights” kawałek bardzo się zmieniał. Najpierw był pomysł zakładający tylko mnie i gitarę akustyczną. Potem pojawiła się wersja z moim znajomym, Davidem, była to taka bardziej bluegrassowa wersja. Trzecie podejście było z  ukulele i chórem gospel w środku. Był to więc moment kiedy pomyślałem o końcówce tego utworu. Miałem w głowie mantrę “That’s the way we wanna go” (z ang. To droga, którą chcemy podążać), którą śpiewałem z Johnem, kiedy płynęliśmy wzdłuż rzeki. To nasza mantra do cieszenia się życiem. To po prostu akceptacja tego, że nieważne co nas spotka na dole rzeki, to droga, którą chcemy podążać.

MB: *Śmieje się* Wyobrażam sobie właśnie was obu śpiewających  “That’s the way, that’s the waaaay we wanna goooo”! RÓ: Tak, dokładnie! 

Płynęliśmy w dół tej rzeki przez 30 dni. Poruszaliśmy się z prędkością z jaką niosła nas woda. To była wspaniała podróż po prostu, z naturą.

Kiedy usłyszałem tę mantrę w swojej głowie, pomyślałem o ludziach śpiewających na stadionie. Wpadłem więc na pomysł by zapytać ludzi, którzy lubią moją muzykę, aby sami to zaśpiewali. Przygotowałem paczkę z instrukcjami i wrzuciłem ją na dropboxa. Nie wymagałem bycia profesjonalnym wokalistą oraz nagrania tego jakiś wypasionym mikrofonem. Zwykłe nagranie z telefonu było wystarczające. Tak jak ci wspomniałem, otrzymałem 52 odpowiedzi. Nie stroiłem później tych nagrań. Efekt finalny zabrzmiał naprawdę autentycznie.

MB: To na tyle jeżeli chodzi o część związaną z wywiadem. Takk! RÓ: Takk kærlega fyrir! Wywiad przeprowadził Maciej Buszman. Favorite muse(s) you’ve written:  I honestly love Leona, but I think that’s because she’s the muse I’ve put the most work into. 

What inspired you to take on your current muse (that you are posting this on): I had been working on a Leona cosplay for almost a year and when I went up to Sakuracon this year, I met @definitely-not-altair and sort of..stalked their blog until I decided to give rping here on tumblr a try. I at first, wanted to do Nami, because I play her so often, but I’d put so much work into Leona that I thought “why the hell not?” and went with her. 

What are your favorite aspects of your current muse:  How protective and loyal she is. I value that irl, and I guess it just kind of transferred to this sunny paladin.

What’s your biggest inspiration when it comes to writing: I don’t really have one. I just of just word vomit and hope it comes out right.

Favorite types of threads: I actually enjoy writing angst and darker threads about as much as I like writing fluffy and smut threads. I’m a giant marshmallow irl so doing the darker threads is a nice change of pace.

Biggest struggle in regards to your current muse: I’m a lazy forgetful person who tends to accidentally drop threads ><

SIDE EVENT 005. SECRET REWARDS

april 1st has long passed, but legacy hopes this event will reminded to everybody the importance of safety procedures !

REWARD 1

the surprise lunch gave an opportunity to trainees to relax a bit and socialize together in a relaxed environment. socializing is an important part of being a celebrity and everybody who has completed the LUNCH THREAD has either received: (only ONE of these options, not all)

speaking of pizza, this lunch couldn’t have been possible without the help of PAPA JOHN’S KOREA. maybe some trainees have noticed the delivery guys who stuck around for several minutes before leaving. these people were in fact part of papa john’s marketing team who came to scout models for their summer cfs!

to be eligible, muses needed to have completed BOTH REQUIREMENTS, have a minimum of 25 ACTING, 50 MODELING and modeling contracts slots free. the 20 trainees picked have been divided in 4 groups, each group has also been assigned a theme for their cf.

congratulations to all of you ! trainees have been privately notified that their current fees are 12 MILLION WON ($10,000 USD) per CF for a contract of 6 months (meaning that from the filming of the CF to the removal of them on broadcast, there will be a total of 6 months). Due to their contract split, they will each be paid 6 MILLION WON ($5,000 USD). REQUIREMENTS
