Clarice stood there looking over at Billy for a moment and nodded, "Honestly, it was easier than trying to find someone else you would turn down." She shook her head for a moment, it was more than she signed up to but she knew how much this inheritance meant for both him and his brothers and wanted to make sure he got it even if it did cost her the chance to fall in love. Considering she barely had time to do that anyway it made no difference to her. She looked at them both, "I am sure that he did, stop worrying because he might have brought this but this is going to have to go on a lot longer if you want your inheritance. And you..." she pointed at Connor, "You need to start working on your part of the plan too." She stated looking over at him for a moment.

Billy looked over at his personal assistant and fake fiance and was questioning how on earth he got to that place. As they walked off the stage towards his brother, he sighed but turned to Clarice before going over there, "Thank you. For going along with the speech and all of it to be honest. This is more than you signed up for." He said looking over at her before walking over to his brother with her, "That was intense. Dads eyes were on me the whole time, I wonder if he bought it or not." He sighed. His brother said "I think he did I think its good you used someone who knows you as well as Clarice does and that speech, who knew you had it in you."

Clarice stood there at the side of the stage, she didn't really know what do or how to react. This was all so big and her dream proposal was meant to be simple but she was helping out someone she knew she cared about even if he infuriated her so many times. As she heard him ask her to come up she walked towards him with a smile plastered on her face. Seeing his grandmothers ring, she was shocked this wasn't the plan it was meant to be a ring he got from tiffany's, she remembered because she was the one who picked it out. She decided to not think to much into it and just follow his lead and she smiled as she covered her mouth, "The ring is beautiful." She smiled, "I love you Bils." She smiled as she said that into the mic before she looked over at him and gave him a look to follow her lead before she pulled him in for a kiss so it looked like they were really in love. She hadn't expected sparks when they kissed and she wanted to ignore them before she pulled away and just smiled over at him for a moment. "Come on baby, we should probably go say hi to your brother now. Thank you everyone for coming. Now lets have a good time." She made sure she looked over at his dad for a brief moment but she couldn't read his face.

Billy stood there and sighed a little, this girl was aggravating him more then ever right now, he was ready to just give up on this but he couldn't, he wasn't just doing it for him but for his brothers. He couldn't let them down and lose everything, he couldn't let his dad get his grandfathers inheritance. He sighed looking over at her, "Okay get over yourself little miss bossy pants! I got this. I can fake it at least with you I already know you." He sighed looking over at her for a moment ignoring what they are going to have to go through.

As 30 minutes had passed, it was time to make the announcement he walked to the stage that was in the party and he saw Clarice standing there at the side of the stage waiting to be announced up, "If I can have everyones attention." He said into the microphone looking over at everyone sitting there at the event and spotted his brother who was wearing the cheekiest smile ever. "I have some news that I would like to share with you all. I don't usually talk about my love life with people. However this feels about the right time to actually talk about it. I met Clarice around 2 years ago and I know she is my personal assistant and should never mix work and pleasure however we spend so much time together, it was inevitable we were going to fall in love. And we did. Now I couldn't imagine my life without her. So the other night I asked her to marry me and she said yes. Clarice please come up to the stage." As he watched her come up to the stage he took out the ring box in his pocket, it was his grandmothers ring and he had said he would give it to the person he was going to be engaged to, "I didn't give her a ring that night as I wanted to give it to her tonight, as today it's been 2 years by the date that she started working for me so I wanted it to be a special day I gave her my grandmothers ring."

Clarice stood there looking over at Billy for a moment, these past few months trying to find him a fiancé was probably the most stressful thing she had ever had to do. She laughed, "Because I am smarter then you and your brother ever will be." She shrugged looking over at the guy for a moment before looking over at the guy for a moment, "Okay just because you are the man, I was the one who planned this so you don't need to tell me what you are going to do I already know how this would work since I was the one who was finding you these girls. 30 minutes from now. Get ready to make the sweetest declaration of your life in front of everything and remember you have to make it believable for your father to believe you love me."

Billy glanced over at Clarice, she usually annoyed the hell out of her however he also knew he couldn't live without her in his life. He sighed looking over at her, "Why do you always have to be right?" He said through gritted teeth. He sighed, she was frustrating and always right. Hearing her words he was shocked, "What?" He said quietly however what she was saying was not a bad idea, he could tolerate her and dealing with being married to her wouldn't be that bad considering she spends most of her time with him anyway. "You know what that is not a bad idea, we will make an announcement in 30 minutes. Well more like I will propose in 30 minutes on that stage over there and you're going to say yes." He said.

Clarice hated being Billy's PA sometimes because really he could just be a dick without reasoning. She sighed looking over at him, "You can't do that, and what give the man over there the satisfaction?" She pointed to his father knowing if they knew the ways to get the inheritance so did he. She sighed before looking over at Allan and nodding, "Fine if you are going to be this difficult, I'll do it, look I know you well enough, you can at least tolerate me will be far easier then running every eligible women out of here."

@strawberrylaceswrites Clarice stood there with Connor as they were discussing what the night was going to be before she saw Billy walk down the stairs and Beatrice angry and ready to leave. She let out a sigh, why was this never easy, she knew how important it was for Billy to not let his dead get his grandfathers inheritance yet it seemed like Billy wasn’t taking it seriously. She looked at him as Billy came over to them, “I don’t think you do, this is your engagement party, how are you meant to have an engagement party without a fiance? What are you going to do now when they start the announcement? What was wrong with her this time?”

Billy looked at Clarice, they had 0 in common and yet some part of him was attracted to her even though he knew he shouldn't be. he sighed, "Well I guess it is no longer an engagement party. Nothing per say was wrong just didn't feel like spending the rest of my life with that annoying women." He sighed, "Well being my PA how about you and my rother who seems to be very interested in this instead of sorting his own life out for the inheritance which is also needing to be done in order for us to all get the money and our dad get shit all come up with an answer and we'll go from there."
