Swearing under her breath, Feyza let her prim façade drop the second the two left the restaurant. Her parents had roped her into a dinner with their business associates that they couldn't attend themselves. Naturally, they'd also told them that her boyfriend would be attending. The very fake boyfriend she currently was detangling herself from.
"I owe you big time," She admitted, running her hands through her hair. "Honestly, Dorian, you are literally a lifesaver." Her eyes scanned her surroundings, before she turned to him with a grin. "Drinks?"

"You are very good at it," She mused, before sighing. "Do you think I'm being truly ridiculous? Letting them rule my life like this? Though I feel as though one wrong move and they'll make poor Defne suffer, or they'll yank the company from me without warning." At the mention of her being happy, Feyza huffed. "Perhaps, though I think I have a habit of ruining anything good in my life. Varun. Vance."
"I'd be your biggest supporter," She told him with a laugh, her troubles melting away slightly at the affection. "Mhm, that sounds just like what we need right now, honestly. Though if we bump into Ceyhan, you may need to distract him. He'll never let me live it down."
Dorian shook his head almost simultaneously with her apology, "You are not to blame for any of this, fooling people like this is something I enjoy, even if it does take the occasional toll. One day, we'll make them more miserable than they've made you and on that day, we'll be sure you also find yourself happy."
"Maybe I'll take that into consideration for my next life, or if I take on a career move." Dorian smiled back, pulling her closer and giving her a quick kiss to the forehead. "I wouldn't be opposed to shirtless men, and I have a feeling you wouldn't be either."

At his heavy sigh, Fey frowned. “I’m sorry, Dor, this really isn’t fair on you. I’ll figure something out, I promise,” she murmured, wishing her parents would actually understand for once, or that she’d stand up to them. If it wasn’t for the fear they’d then put a tremendous amount of pressure on Defne, she’d have told them exactly what she thought.
“You’d make an excellent actor, honestly,” Feyza smiled at him, before it widened into a grin. “The boneyard, the royal, either or, honestly. Just somewhere with a lot of distractions and good liquor,” she admitted. “Your pick, love,”
Having thought he caught a glimpse of one of said business associates leaving the restaurant, he kept his arm wrapped around the other before finally pulling back himself. He then let out a heavy sigh for the first time that evening, unaware that he'd been holding one in. People like Feyza's parents reminded him too much of the Fawley's and it certainly left a taste in his mouth. But that made it all the more worth helping Feyza deceive them.
"You don't owe me in the slightest, I promise you," he assured her, waving off the comment with a hand gesture. "Mother did always say I would've made a wonderful actor, though I'm not sure I'd be able to put up with all the drama," Dorian joked. "Though I will never say no to drinks, perhaps we both need a trip to the Boneyard tonight?"
