I'm very into the idea of Thundercracker and Megatron having a sparkling together, but by the sounds of it, it doesn't last. Was it a one night stand kind of thing or were they serious, and what convinced Thundercracker to take the sparkling after Megatron had him? Wait- HOW was Thundercracker able to do that?

In my AU for them it started off as a one night stand but eventually developed into something more. Thundercracker had a lot of hope in Megatron as leader of the Decepticons, and Thundercracker reminded Megatron of a Decepticon version of Optimus. Like, all the qualities Megatron saw in Optimus, he saw in Thundercracker too...it's like, if Optimus was a Decepticon, he'd be Thundercracker T-T. So a lot of it started like that, but the two of them began to fall for one another. Eventually, Megatron was sparked and there was this idea that that child would be heir of the Decepticons, but as Thundercracker lost sight of the cause because literally everyone around him was trying to destroy the galaxy, he decided he didn't want his sparkling growing up in that environment. So he ends up taking him after Megatron has him ... it's something he reregets....and the two of them meet after the war, and Megatron gets to meet his sparkling all grown up.

Megatron and Thundercracker admit that while there was a *flame* during the war, they didn't really love one another but they're close now. Buuuut Thundercracker puts it out there that if Megatron ever wants to carry more seeker sparkling, he doesn't mind lending his spike akdjf;ajf

But long story short that is the first child Megatron ever had while a Decepticon, so technically...he may still be up and running to be leader of the Decepticons if there's a newly reformed movement??
