Oh my, Time Trax.

I loved that show. What that translated to, eventually, was that I loved Dale Midkiff (and still admire him greatly). TT had some very interesting ideas, in that somewhat awkwardly self-conscious '90s fashion, and it used the limited special effects of the time quite well. It was created in part by Harve Bennett, of Star Trek fame.

I don't recommend it now, mind. It's still out there, but it has not aged well. If you want to sample Mr. Midkiff's oeuvre, I recommend the Plymouth TV movie (if you can find it), or the first season (not the second) of the 1998 The Magnificent Seven.* He also starred in the 1989 Pet Sematary, but I don't watch horror so I can't comment on that.

He's one of those thousands of actors who's very good at his job, but never got the big break needed to become famous.

*This, for the uninitiated, was a slightly silly Western that nonetheless starred Michael Behn and Ron Perlman, among others. Tremendous fun to watch, and it's obvious that just about everyone in it is enjoying themselves.

1992 PTEN brochure intended to be customized to some extent by affiliate stations (the fourth page - the outside back cover if you will - was left completely blank), promoting PTEN’s ealiest programming.  (Note that Babylon 5 was simply a movie at this point, not a series; also note that both B5 and the Wild West documentary were both from Douglas Netter’s Rattlesnake Productions; one wonders if there wasn’t some appropriately old-west-style horse trading going on already to ensure B5′s survival.)
